"Elegant and refined, this top-quality restaurant is the perfect choice for special occasions. Vietri ceramics, an open-view kitchen, fish on display and a successful mix of traditional and modern decor all combine to create an atmospheric setting in the dining room. As the restaurant’s name suggests, this is a good option for anyone who enjoys delicious classic fish and seafood dishes (mostly from Campania)." - Michelin Inspector

The Best Things to Do on the Amalfi Coast

"An industrial port city with a long seafront promenade and historic sites like the 11th-century Duomo. Known for its vibrant centro storico with shops and trattorias."

This was an amazing place that we were lucky to find. Wonderfully friendly staff and a crazy good menu. It doesn’t get better than this restaurant. The food was exceptional. The service was superb! If you find yourself in Salerno you must come here at least once before you leave. I feel lucky to have found it!

Went with two other people, the staff was very friendly and helped us order. We were able to split dishes for an appetizer and then all got the baked fish of the day. All of the food was wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful. If you’re in Salerno you need to go here!

The experience was overall good. The service was 10/10, the waiter was very attentive and treated us well. We got three items off the menu: 1- the octopus in tomato sauce...I think it was called "Luciano style" or something. This dish was a home run - it was a decent sized portion of tender octopus in a flavorful tomato sauce with croutons. Definitely our favorite dish. 2- Fresh egg noodle pasta with redfish...in terms of flavor the pasta was perfect. It was cooked al dente and in a well balanced lemon butter sauce. Where this dish fell short for us was two part: the portion size was smaller than expected and I feel the fish could have been treated better rather than torn into small pieces scattered across the pasta. 3- The Casamare mixed grilled fish under the traditional Salerno dishes. This one is a mixed bag unfortunately. The star of the plate was the sea bass in the center of the plate as it was seasoned well and the skin seared to be thin and crisp. The rest of the proteins on the dish need to be re-imaged. The tuna was of solid quality but plain - it didn't taste like any seasoning (not even salt) was on the fish. The entire shrimp and prawn tasted like it was basted in the shrimp tomally/roe from the head. Though some might find this flavor a delight, we did not enjoy it as much unfortunately. Finally both pieces of squid tasted of nothing other than burnt/charcoal. They definitely could of left it out entirely as it fell flat. Overall it was a good experience with service top notch and great Greco wine from the Campagna region. I would recommend coming but also recommend the restaurant rethinks some elements.

Here is a place for experience, not only feeding yourself! Starting from homemade bread, delicious olive oil and elaborated entreé, pink shrimp tartare with passion fruit, white shrimp tartare with passion fruit and tuna tartare was really delicious and equilibrated taste. Lobster with delicious dressing 🤤 excellent service, also great knowledge and suggestions of amaro pairing with desert.

I had lunch yesterday at this restaurant. The place was almost empty , only two more tables with 2 people were there. The food was just ok…. The service and the overall experience were really bad….. They tried to trick me three times with the bill, apologizing at the end, and for my surprise, the owner was there witnessing the whole situation. I’m visiting Salerno, but if being local, I would definitely NOT coming back ….

From the moment you enter to the moment you exit, everything is top standards. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend !

The food at this restaurant was severely overpriced for the quality and portion sizes offered. The appetizers were laughably small, and the pasta dish we ordered was disappointingly bland To make matters worse, we were shocked to receive an exorbitant bill at the end of our meal. Upon checking, we realized that both the main course and the appetizer had been charged as double orders—despite us clearly not ordering identical duplicates of the same dish. While this might have been a miscommunication, it’s baffling why the staff would assume customers would want two identical dishes without confirmation.

Food was okay. Certainly not worth the price. What made the experience worse was the pretentious service. We were scolded for pouring our own water when the waiter left our glasses empty for too long. And the bottle was on our table! On a Sunday night there were only three tables in use and the service was still lacking. Had to ask the waiter to pour more wine. Had room but opted to skip dessert due to ambiance and poor service. Not a woman in sight working back of the house or front. They might benefit from the warmth of a female. Wouldn’t recommend.
