Casarecce Italian

I came here for my birthday dinner and the service and quality of the food was exceptional. They gave us desserts on the house for my birthday. The pasta and gnocchi were so light and fresh, the salmon cooked perfectly, the desserts were delicious and flavorful as well. The portions were very reasonable and satisfying. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. I look forward to my next meal here!

Loved this restaurant. Its exactly what Bellmore/Merrick needs. It’s uniquely different & way better than the same boring chain restaurants with mediocre greasy food. If you like homemade Italian food check them out. Reminds me of a restaurant you would find in downtown Brooklyn. The baked clams were phenomenal! The ambiance is a fun and sophisticated vibe. Cacio Pepe was great. We shared 2 pastas, everything was portioned perfectly. We didn’t even have room for dessert. People complaining in comments about pasta size obviously have not been to Italy. They offer 2 sizes, we got the small one because we shared 2 pastas , plus appetizers. Looking forward to going back.

We were there for their Grand Opening cocktail party. They were very generous with complimentary drinks and hors d'vours.The ambiance is warm and friendly and the staff are very welcoming. I had the veal chop which was very generous and cooked perfectly. The red sauce however was very bland. We ordered the calamari which was good but it was with the same sauce. The baked clams were pretty dry. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will return to see how they progress with new specials etc.

Everything was great ! Wine and food were outstanding. The happy hour is perfect! Highly recommend.

Beautiful ambiance! Very nice service. Disappointed with the portion sizes. We came home and needed to have another dinner. Where's the pasta. I know its home made but it cost pennies to make. Very strange and never had such a small portion like that before. Your prices are not that cheap too to substantiate the portion size.

More people should know about this place. Darcell our server was exactly what we needed with our big party. He commanded the table, was the when he was needed and wasn't overbearing. Guided us thru the starter and our entree choices. Everything exceeded our expectations from the jump. From The beer selection to the prosciutto focaccia to our handmade pastas. One of our guests got the Bronzino and he loved it. Overall terrific spot and handled fantastic by the staff.

When we heard there was a new Italian restaurant opening on Merrick Road, we had very high hopes, Casarecce delivers in every possible way. The food is excellent, the drinks are excellent, the atmosphere is excellent, and most importantly, the service is excellent. We are very lucky to have a restaurant of this quality so close to home.
