5 Destination Tennessee Distilleries

"Tucked back in the Cascade Hollow of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Dickel has crafted its distinct sour mash Tennessee whisky (note the spelling) for almost 150 years. Following post-prohibition rebirth in 1964, it rebuilt its distillery into a robust summertime must-see. The Front Porch Friday series, which runs from May to October, features signature cocktails and Nashville songwriters in a pastoral setting far from the bustle of Lower Broadway. A bonus for pilgrims: Its visitor center is one of the few places in the world where all four Bottled in Bond series liquors are readily available." - Jon Gugala

3 Best Day Trips from Nashville | Condé Nast Traveler

"George Dickel, the 90-proof Tennessee whiskey they make at the Cascade Hollow Distillery, is a tradition in this area. Following a reboot of the brand a few years ago by parent company Diageo, the distillery's large valley and burbling brook down in "the holler" make a tranquil setting for whiskey production. This is yet another worthy stop in the middle section of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail. It's also close to many other distilleries, such as Short Mountain and Jug Creek, making it a convenient stop, too." - Margaret Littman

What a great afternoon and such a better experience than that other one up the road. Our tour guide was amazing (unfortunately forgot his name) on Sunday 4/27. He led a very fun informational tour. The tasting was great and he provided some interesting insights on the different types. Had a lot of fun hanging out on the grounds afterwards on a beautiful day.

Google
Absolutely a must to visit if you are planning a Tennessee whiskey tour. The drive is lovely from Nashville, and upon arrival we were greeted by a pleasant team. Our guide Jake was also so knowledgeable and open to address all of our questions, teaching us about the history of the area and the distillery. Our tour ended in a tasting which was also wonderful. This is one of the only distilleries that has an open burn for their sugar maple, which was a cool and fun fact. The store offerings were also high quality.

Google
Such a quaint place with a beautiful story of American history. Bobby gave us a tour and walked us through the tasting. We loved this place, recommend stopping buy if your in town.

Ben Guthrie

Google
Had a nice one-on-one tour with Jake at the facility. The grounds are very nice and the distillery is well laid-out. The tour itself was informative and Jake did a good job at going through the process and highlighting what made their whiskey unique. Flight at the end was nice as well.

Google
Nice place to visit and tour. Bobby was our tour guide and he was great! Pay for the premium Tasting room experience, and it is definitely worth the extra $$.

Google
Been here 1x. Our group of five very much enjoyed the single barrel experience (~$160pp) which included ~1 hour tour + taste through three 15-year barrels and one 17-year blend; afterward, pick your favorite of the three barrels and take that one home (~$80 value). Bobby did an excellent job as our tour guide: he was knowledgeable, informative and humorous (Larry the tour guide was also fun to talk to). He also knew the tasting bourbons well and let us taste through them ourselves to form our own opinions before offering his own takes—I think we all appreciated that format. Highly recommend this experience as George Dickel is an excellent bourbon.

Nicole Nittel

Google
Beautiful grounds, quaint building, nice merch. Did the $30 tasting, which honestly seemed a but pricey considering they weren't full pours. There was also a $12 tasting option though we didn't do that one. Was a rainy Sunday afternoon, so it was really quiet.

Cascade hollow is small distillery in the middle of serene valley of Tennessee. They are known for producing Dickel Whisky. We got in the last tour of the day and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They shown us the facility and we got to taste multiple whiskies. The standout whiskies are the 18-years, Dickel barrel selected, and nickel & Leopold collab blend. It’s amazing to see how big of the rickhouses they have just over the ridge. This place is full of history that has great products to back it up. We met David who spend most of his life working at distillery, he represents the American dream. He’s very proud of the company and what they stand for. I’m glad to support this company.

Yelp
I'd heard of George Dickel but had never tried it. Our best friends live in Tullahoma and said they also had not been there yet. We all decided to check it out. We enjoyed the shop very much. We didn't take a tour that day because it was pouring down raining and we were all kind of tired from the busy day we'd had. The staff were very warm, friendly/welcoming and helpful. I bought a very comfy sweatshirt, Dickel trucker hat and a nice bottle of single Barrel. The surrounding hollow (or holler as I like to call them) was beautiful! Next time we are in Tullahoma, I hope to tour the distillery and do a taste test of the bourbons I haven't had of theirs yet.

Yelp
Great "little" distillery, the setting in the hollow is beautiful. The tour was fun and very informative, our guide Jay did an awesome job and was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Loved the atmosphere of the tasting room, very warm and relaxing. The flights were an interesting tasting of 4 different whiskeys, you can purchase additional whiskeys for tasting also. I highly recommend paying a visit to this great little gem.

Yelp
Just a wonderful tour and tasting experience in a classic distillery surrounding in a Tennessean hollow. Our tour guide Bobby was friendly with a pleasant demeanor and 100% in the know about the history of the distillery, their whisky making process and all of the whisky's they make. Beautiful tasting room, shop and interesting distillery in a beautiful setting.

Yelp
It was a stop on the whiskey trail that I was on. The staff were friendly and inviting. We opted for the tasting and it was 30 a piece. You get 6 tasting and a description of each. I will say the tasting is on the more pricer side compared to other distilleries on the trail. The distillery is nice and have plenty of seating outside and in. It was a nice stop to get stamped on the trail. I would recommend for the experience.

Yelp
We stopped by here for a quick tasting. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to do the tour. The place was pretty good and quite empty. If you are not in the mood of experiencing the touristy Jack Daniel's experience, this is a good alternative with fewer crowds. The tasting is inside the gift shop/visitor center area. The whiskey selection was good. They also have free postcards, which you can mail to yourself or friends, which seemed pretty cute.

Yelp
Fabulous tasting. Excellent tour. Great gift shop. This place has it all. The drive here is beautiful. Skip J.D. and spend some time at Dickel.

Yelp
Had the chance recently to visit and tour Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. (a.k.a. George Dickel). This place is tucked away near Tullahoma, TN and is an easy drive from Nashville. If you like Tennessee whiskey or are just interested in the distillation process and history, then this short tour is worth the trip. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it was not crowded at all. The tour group we were placed in had maybe 10 people total. We did the basic tasting tour, which included a tour of the distillery and tastings of 4 George Dickel products. Our tour guide, Larry (I think), was great! He was very knowledgeable and funny. He certainly kept us entertained on the tour. It was approximately 1 hour for the tour and tasting. There is a nice gift shop and bottle shop as well. Here you can find souvenirs such as shirts, hats and a variety of glasses. The bottle shop also has some items you can't find in your local liquor stores. Overall this was a very nice trip. It's a short drive from Nashville or Chattanooga. Easy to find and very informative. My goal is to visit every distillery on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, and I certainly recommend this stop for any whiskey enthusiast.

Yelp
Dickel used to be one of my absolute favorite whiskeys, have drank it for years. Recently some friends of ours were visiting from another State and wanted to do some whiskey tastings. I suggested we go to George Dickel due to the quality of the whiskey and the location of the distillery. It was about a 2 hr drive for us and upon arrival we each ordered a flight of different whiskeys to taste. This was a week day so there were not a lot of folks there that day doing tastings so we had our pick of spots to sit. We decided to sit on the porch area which gave you a great view of the layout of the unique surrounding area, distillery and the creek that runs through the property. As we were sitting there sipping our whiskey, a slight breeze of kicked up which allowed the flags to be displayed on the flag pole. Low and behold, what did I see flying on the flag pole insulting and desecrating the the US Flag, and the flag of TN, none other than the militant Transgender flag! I basically spit out the whiskey I was sipping when I saw that thing, what a disgrace to be flying that militant Transgender flag flag right up there with the big beautiful Stars and Stripes. I was looking forward to spending about $500.00 that day to add some Dickel to my collection at home, but decided I'd save my money to put into a distillery that is more aligned with my All American and family values. I'm really not sure why Dickel is flying that one particular flag, but they are sending a message and they have lost a life time customer, I will never purchase a single bottle of Dickel again, and I will forever tell friends that come to visit, not to waste their time or money going to the Dickel distillery because of what they stand for.

Yelp
Been there twice, tasting experience is good, there small batch distillery labels are outstanding in flavor and very reasonably priced. You can go from a $40 bourbon to a $500 bourbon if you want. You're in the area it's worth checking out and at least do the tasting.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Great tour with a lot of neat history and informative on their whiskey distilling process. Enjoyed it very much!

Yelp
Fun story line, interesting and informative. The whiskey of course was outstanding. Perfect time of year to visit.

Yelp
George Dickel is distilled in the hills of Tennessee; located in Cascade Hollow. It is truly a smooth, sipping whiskey with a charcoal filtered taste. I had the opportunity of touring their distillery on Saturday and the tour was excellent. I highly recommend it for traveler's passing through the State of Tennessee. We also got a 'Tasting Selection' included in our tour. They have a gift shop and 'souvenir bottle' shop on site. Follow me on Yelp for more unique places to see in Tennessee.

Yelp
Excellent tour! I really enjoyed this tour. We say everything from start up until bottling (that's done offsite). I liked seeing the fermenting process in the open vats. That was the first time I've seen that. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was nice hearing the history of Cascade Hollow distillery and how it became Dickel. The tasting was really good. I am not a rye whiskey fan but their rye was pretty good! We ended up taking home a bottle of their Bottled in Bond #3.

Dennis J.

Yelp
Probably the best American made whisky ever. There are others brands with fancier bottles, or edgier names that cost 4 times as much out there...... but none come close to what George Dickel produces. When you're ready for the best, give Dickel a try. I promise, after you do, your whiskey selection will never be the same without it. Whenever I go to an event, I will take a bottle of George Dickel as a "gift" so I don't have to drink whatever they are serving for free. It may be harder to find then the run-of-the-mill whiskeys out there, simply ask you local liquor store to start carrying it. Once people realize how incredible it is, they'll won't be able to keep it in stock (that's the problem I have).

Bill R.

Yelp
I have visited several of times and I have always enjoyed the tours and tastings. They're very friendly and, of course, create excellent whiskeys.

Christie E.

Yelp
The best tour and tasting. It was very informative. I really learned a lot about the making of some of the best whisky. The tasting is well worth the money. Do yourself a favor and go to cascade Hollow.

Yelp
As part of the whiskey trail, stopped here to check out George Dickel spirits. This is absolutely worth the stop. It's small, but good enough for a gift shop. A large variety of souvenir options. I did the tasting and all four were really good. The two staff members that we interacted with were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great stop to have a drink, sit back and relax for a few! Beautiful country side too.
google avatar

Yelp
It was very cool to see the distilling operation and go through the whole process from raw materials to barreling. Our tour guide(s) were great not just explaining the process but telling the history or George, the brand and how it's changed and matured over the years. Thanks for a great experience!

Yelp
The tour guide was top notch. The drive to the distillery was peaceful. The bourbon and whisky were excellent. I would highly recommend this gem in Tennessee for any bourbon fan!

Louise B.

Yelp
Nice grounds, but the service was definitely lacking, and the drinks were just okay. The postcards were a nice touch.

Justin M.

Yelp
Had a great tour of the grounds, then enjoyed a cigar with a friend on the grassy grounds near the stream. Most down home relaxing place in Tennessee.
google avatar

BECKY S.

Yelp
The George Dickle Distellery is the cutest hidden gem around. They produce great whisky too! The grounds are beautiful and the history is fascinating. Much smaller than other neighboring distilleries but the charm makes up for its size. Highly recommend

Yelp
Wifey and I on a recent getaway to Nashville spent some time here at George Dickel's. Whiskey on the Lawn. One of the highlights of our trip...and we visited a lot of places while in the Ville. We got the lowdown on the history of the grounds and distillery from our very personable guide. Then, it was off to the Adirondack chairs on the lawn for the tasting. Wifey and I also opted for the charcuterie to munch on. It was excellent. The samples of whiskey were very good. I actually prefer Dickel's to JD. We did the JD tour a few days prior. I'd rate this better. Awesome setting. Relaxing. Plus, you're sippin' whiskey. C'mon. About an hour and 15 from Downtown Nashville. Give it a shot. Gift shop and bottle shop on site.

Cara P.

Yelp
Great history. Our tour guide was knowledgeable in everything and she was funny . Great whiskey.

Yelp
The tasting of the whiskey was awesome, really great tour. Unlike jack Daniels you can take pictures and the tour guides actually are workers so they have quite a bunch of knowledge.

Yelp
I never had tried any of George Dickel's offerings but was anxious to give them a try. Our tour guide, Tori, was just wonderful, she was very informative, this distillery is a totally different operation than Jack Daniels, Toby gets to play a lot of different roles in the production of their fine elixirs. Although the distillery is much smaller in size to JD Toby informed us that GD distills almost as much as the former... It was interesting to find out that George Dickel, originally from Germany, originally was a shoe maker before getting into the liquor business with his brother. Another interesting bit of information was that most of their product is shipped off site and unlike JD they do not make there own barrels. After the tour we got to try the distillery products and I was very impressed by how smooth they were. If you are lucky enough to get Tori as your tour guide you'll find out not only does she wear many hats at the distillery she also wears a "toque blanche" (she's a Culinary Institute of America trained Master Chef).

Yelp
They have great Whisky and a great tour. Nothing better than sitting out on the porch on a hot day watching the world go by.

Yelp
George Dickel is an underrated whiskey in the American whiskey market. The higher proofed, older stuff has an amazing, nutty profile similar to Jim Beam, and it is terrific. I was very excited to visit this distillery on our way home from Chattanooga, but talk about disappointing. The Good: Tori & Megan were awesome. These two ladies worked in the gift shop, and they were amazing. I've been on 10+ distillery tours, and they (especially Tori) were the friendliest, most welcoming people I've ever encountered at any distillery ever. The grounds of the distillery were beautiful. You see my pictures. It took a while to get to Dickel once you got off the interstate, and the drive was pretty. Amazing. I really appreciated the bottles being sold in the gift shop. Rewarding folks for visiting the distillery with really good, scarce bottle options. Once the tour/tasting started, that's where my vibe was killed. The Bad & The Ugly: Our tour/tasting guide was Billy, and he wasn't pleasant. At all. - Made a sexist "joke" about how women don't listen to men. - Made sure to say that even though the master distiller is a woman, he reassured us that she knew what she was doing and was good. The overtones being that it was rare for a woman to know what she is doing. - Talked about how the government is coming for all our guns and he dares them to come for his guns, and they'll see what happens. Which has absolutely nothing to do with Dickel or whiskey, but he couldn't help but drop that in. - Said government regulation was completely out of control and soon "they" will be regulating how much whiskey we can even drink. - Didn't know basic information about whiskey in America, such as what Bottled-in-Bond means. I actually spoke up and answered two questions that were asked by other persons in the tour group when it was clear that Billy didn't know the answer, and then Billy said, "Actually, yeah. He's right. Well done." Dude - it is really basic info that you should know. - Billy also gave factually wrong information about whiskey and George Dickel (the person). My girlfriend and I kept looking at one another with raised eyebrows when he would say something. After we got in the car and fact checked Billy, our suspicions were confirmed. I mean, it was a complete bummer. I was vibing pretty good and totally into this distillery until the tour. But Billy was the ultimate wet blanket. He was so bad that I can't help give this experience but two stars. I do want to reiterate how awesome Tori & Megan were, though. But especially Tori. She is a star. I reckon if she were the tour guide, this may have just been the best distillery experience I have ever had. But she wasn't, so it wasn't. Sad day.

Yelp
Such an awesome tasting at the legendary Dickel distillery. Our tour guide Tory was super knowledgeable and had an amazing personality. She walked us through the history and tasting notes of all the whiskys offered. The setting and drive out to the facility were breathtaking as well. A must do when out in the area.

Bob S.

Yelp
Great place to visit love the history and nice people. Well worth the few mile drive off the freeway. be sure you have your GPS on. Both signs get a bit spotty.

Yelp
This is our favorite stop along the Tennessee whiskey trail. They have great limited edition spirits available for tasting and purchase. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The gift shop has really cool, unique items for purchase with a relaxing lounge area.
google avatar

Raul M.

Yelp
Fantastic distillery, beautiful location with a very friendly staff. The gift shop is very well organized and has an amazing collection. The tasting experience with master distiller Nicole Austin is fantastic and worth every penny. It's a 90 minute session on the art, science and history of whisky making in the region. Nicole is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions very. The prices were reasonable and they have some rare whisky's too.

Yelp
Great day. I enjoyed the tour. I wished I had more time to stay longer. I'm so glad I came here today. Great customer service: Everyone was friendly and got fast service from the gift store after the tour. I highly recommend doing the tour here. The tour only costs $12. It includes a 45 minute tour of how they make George Dickel Whisky. At the end includes a tasting session where you get to taste 5 different whiskeys. My favorite was the number 12 or white label. There is plenty of parking. I recommend getting here 30 to 45 minutes before your tour starts. During this time you can browse the gift shop and then relax on the couch for a few minutes to get comfortable before walking on the tour. They also have fast WiFi here while you wait. The lobby is very comfortable with couches and even sits in front of a fireplace. It also feels like a log cabin where you pay, wait, do the tasting session and buy a 5th if you like. Inside the gift shop they have caps you can buy. But, they are expensive. Most are $25 to $30 but I saw 1 for $38. You can also buy drinks inside the gift shop like a coke or an RC cola.

Yelp
This is definitely our favorite distillery! It's small and personal in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Nice tasting at the end of the tour.

Yelp
Had a great time. Highly recommended. Jacqueline mad the tour fun and informative. ..

Joshua G.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my tour here. Compare to other distilleries in the area, It felt more individualized regardless of the group I was in. Plus I received a sample (pre charcoal filtration) to try during the tour. With that you really get a sense of the importance of charcoal in American whisky. George Dickel whisky is still one of my regulars because I'm of the combination of flavor and price.

Yelp
Have a new appreciation on the Dickel brand.... Leopold Borther collab is legit best rye I've ever had.

Yelp
Landed in Tennessee and of course we needed to visit the distillery of one of my favorites George Dickel. It was a lot of winding country roads to reach the distillery, thank goodness for Google Maps! We arrived close to 2 pm and only had to wait for a few minutes to begin our tour, enough time to browse their merchandise and chat with the staff there. The tour cost was $10 which included a 4 sample tasting at the finish which was more than worth the cost! Tour: Walking tour into their working distillery as well as a detailed history lesson about the founder and distillery. Our guide Deanna was great and answered all of our questions. Our group only had 4 people which made for a very relaxed tour and allowed us to have conversations while we walked. We were able to walk through their entire distilling process which was fascinating to see up close. Tasting: 4 whisky samples for us to try including the White #1, the #8, #12, and single barrel. Very interesting to have them side by side and notice the subtle and not so subtle differences. Plus we had our guide there guiding us through the nosing and tasting. Gift Shop: Lots of merch and a bottle room where. You can take home their regular bottles or hard to find bottles. For me it came down to the Barrel Select or the 17 year old. I finally settled on the 17 due to it's rarity and the recommendation of our guide that it will probably be the single best Tennessee Whisky or bourbon that I will have! Overall: I would highly recommend this distillery tour if you are going to head south of Nashville to visit Jack Daniels. GD is less commercialized and offers a far more intimate experience!
google avatar

Kathy M.

Yelp
Having toured quite a few different distilleries over the years, I wasn't sure if there was more to learn about the process, but we definitely wanted a tasting here, so we signed up for the $14 tour. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we learned and how their process differs from those we had visited elsewhere. I felt the tour could have been a little better if our guide had been miked and didn't have to try and make herself be heard over the noises of an operating distillery; however, the young lady was knowledgeable and personable and did a fantastic job. After the tour, we were shown to a private bar area for our tastings. Our guide continued to entertain and manage the group so that everyone could enjoy our 4 tastings. It was a good tour!
google avatar

Robin B.

Yelp
We stopped by the distillery on a lovely country drive. The tours were full so we perused the gift shop and saw the distillery from across the road. We decided to try their whisky and paid $14 for a sampling of four. We were so disappointed with the pours, there was just enough whisky to cover the bottom of the small sample glasses. We couldn't believe the samples would be so small, barely enough to taste each of the four samples. The more we thought about it the more we felt ripped off. After looking forward to a visit for years we were quite let down. At $14 we felt there should have been enough whisky to get a taste for each one. Maybe the tours provide a more generous sample but this left us feeling like chumps.

Rita C.

Yelp
The grounds are beautiful and the small group tour and tasting makes the experience even better. We've been to several distilleries in the US and abroad. I'd include this distillery on your list. The gift shop is great. Lots of choices!

Yelp
The Tori and Megan were the absolute nicest, friendliest people I've ever encountered at a distillery. This wasn't my first, or second, or third rodeo either. The setting is absolutely beautiful and sitting in the Adirondack chairs in the early spring sun looking at the mountains was lovely. But that's the end of the nice things I can say about this distillery. My review is based on the tasting I purchased and came to the distillery to experience. I wasn't too impressed with the product. I didn't come all this way to drink moonshine on a tasting tour. Or gimmick Tabasco barrel finished whisky that I couldn't even drink. Two of the 4 samples were palatable. Our tasting "guide" Billy was the absolute worst. I was leery when he told us to take off our masks while we are still in the middle of a deadly global pandemic. I am trying to be safe during the few times I venture out of my house. Then he started telling us "history" that was factually inaccurate. I can put up with a little romanticizing history for the sake of an experience, but not outright lies. For example I can do math- Mr. Dickel died 15 years before Tennessee prohibition, so their little story about him seeing it coming and moving production to Louisville ahead of time is just plain wrong. Five minutes of reading afterwards confirmed that the rest of his schtick was all BS. However I was absolutely done about 10 minutes in with his sexist, misogynistic comment (can't even call it a joke) that Augusta Dickel "did what women do-didn't listen." The sexism continues with repeated reassurances to guests that the master distiller knows what she's doing, even if she is a woman. The women of the distillery seem to be much more capable of anything and everything than this man, IMO. Also wasn't here for his commentary on the government trying to tell us how much whisky we can drink and then trying to take his guns. Not the time or place. Billy- get your facts and knowledge about your product and process down so you aren't having to pull stuff out of your butt and call them "facts" when people come to learn. "Bottled in bond" actually means something; it isn't just a way for the taxman can get his money- saying so is just plain inappropriate. I didn't want to cause a scene for the other guests, which is the only reason I sat through the entire hour with you. Can't say that I'll ever be back. Which is a shame because while Tori and Megan are great, and the only reason I'm giving more than 1 star, Billy absolutely ruined it for me.

Darrell G.

Yelp
This is a "you have to know where you are going" to find it kind of place but it is everything you'd want to experience. Appropriately named, it is in a hollow and has a little "step back in time" charm. Our guide, Bobby, was relaxed and informative as he gave us a history of the distillery and George Dickel whisky and explained their processes and product line. Good and informative whisky tasting and a wonderful gift shop. This is well worth the time you set aside to learn more about Cascade Hollow and George Dickel Whiskeys.

Hunter W.

Yelp
This wasn't initially our first choice but being that today's aparentlyholidaythe "still down the road" wasn't open. However, we took a gamble and decided to stop by the Cascade Hollow Distillery since it wasn't too much further. Not only was this easy to get to but the place itself looks exactly what we envisioned for a Tennessee whisky distillery! The staff was informative, helpful, and seemed passionate about what they do. The entire facility was impressive and their tasting was well worth it. Compared to the "other brand", these guys know how to make smooth whisky that anyone can enjoy. You can bet that all future whisky bought in our household will have "George Dickel" on the label.

Yelp
This was a beautiful little drive through the countryside to get to George Dickel's Cascade Hollow Distillery. The grounds are beautiful here and the staff couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. We had a whiskey sampling out on the front lawn area and the waitress was very friendly and informative. The bottle shop has a big variety of whiskeys and memorabilia as well.

Yelp
Worth the drive! Beautiful setting. Friendly, informative staff. We skipped the tour and enjoyed the DIY flight.

Yelp
This was a pretty great distillery tour. I learned a lot about who George Dickel was (not a distiller), who owns George Dickel, what is distilled/bottled where, and the various whiskeys George Dickel makes. Our tour guide was very informative, but he wasn't quite loud enough for us to hear every word on the tour - the group was quite large, and we were in the back - hard to hear when we're so far from him. A tasting follows the tour, which was fun as well. George Dickel may not be my favorite whiskey, but I did enjoy the tour! Not a bad drive from Nashville, and quite close to another distillery (you know which one) if you'd like to hit two in a day! (It's also close to some great hiking, so we opted for a morning of hiking and waterfalls and an afternoon of George Dickel - great day!)

Yelp
What a wonderful place. Next time we will do a tour. Tasting on the lawn looked great. We drove down for a wedding and birthday present. It was so clean and Covid cautious. I felt very comfortable in the store and on the porch. Staff was very helpful with recommendations and knowledgeable about the products. We have delivered the gifts and everyone is very happy. Beautiful drive out to Dickel. We will be back.

Yelp
Passing through Tennessee and we planned to visit a local Tennessee distillery! Interesting enough this distillery goes back to old school roots, minus the computer technology and relying heavily on old traditional methods of creating a quality Tennessee whisky. Corn percentage is at a 84%. In the tour we were able to sample their 1,8,12, select and Tabasco. when you're doing a tour ask for Ryan, but if you have a bad tour experience, his name is Travis. If you're a whisky connoisseur, this definitely a place to visit.
