The Best Breweries and Brewpubs in Bend, Oregon to Sip Local Beer

"The Cascade Lakes Brewpub is a family-owned non-profit with all net profits donated to a variety of causes in Central Oregon and beyond. The brewery, founded in nearby Redmond in 1994, offers year-round beers, including the Blonde Bombshell, the Hazy IPA Lotus Pils, a salted caramel porter, and a few rotating specialties. The Bend brewpub is a family-friendly spot with plenty of outdoor fire pits and a rotating seasonal menu. For the best dining experience, get the chef’s Texas and Carolina barbecue specialty, including a house-smoked pastrami sandwich. The previous location on Chandler Avenue is now closed." - Barb Gonzalez, Jeffrey Stull

Google
Anywhere else and it would be awesome but it's always disappointing cause they didn't bring their "A" game. Wait staff have a terrible cadence and order. Drinks are weak, beer is OK. Food is good highlighting fresh/local but expensive. The atmosphere is nice with a rustic modern look. Outside seating is available. I go here annually to remind myself why I don't go here more often.

Angie Fields

Google
Even though the chef we loved left a year after they opened their new location, food was still legit. Beer serviceable as always. Waitstaff attentive (mid day on a Friday).

Waited a long time standing beside the sign that said for me to wait to be seated. Finally, someone came by and said for me to see myself. We start on the bar side of the restaurant, but we wanted to have food so when we got our drinks, I tried to tell her that we wanted to order food, but she walked off so fast. I don’t think she heard me. She never came back and neither did anybody else so after about 20 minutes I finally was able to Get someone to take our order. I ordered ribs and brisket platter. The brisket was so dry and hard I couldn’t eat it. The ribs were tough and dry. We waited for someone to come back so that we could pay but ended up having to find someone again because no one came back to our table after delivering the food. The chips that my friend ordered were OK but all in all it was a horrible experience.

Google
Such a great place to stop on and have adult beverages and or get a bite to eat. Our food was very good despite the Shrimp Bowl having spicy seasoning/sauce that made it impossible for me to eat as I don't like spicy. For someone who likes spicy heat, it was said to be very good. Super friendly staff, our Server took extra time to engage with my 5-year-old granddaughter. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and signature cocktails as well as beer on tap. The issue with my food is more on me. I should have asked what "crack sauce" was and asked if the aoli was mild spicy or hot spicy.

Google
Another solid Bend brewery and eatery. So many delicious beer options and the plates are plenty big for the price. Service was great, everyone had a smile and were very attentive. The building has great architecture and a lively vibe.

Google
Great new place in Bend, and especially needed on Bend's burgeoning East Side. The food is excellent, cooked right, with great flavors. I tried the dry ranch rub wings, which were very good (the picture shows eight, but that's because I already ate two!). I also had the turkey bacon club with French fries and fry sauce. They don't skimp on the turkey, and the bacon was cooked perfectly, crispy but not overcooked, and all-around great flavor. Fry sauce was unique and delicious! I also had their barrel aged stout, which was seriously good. Service was top-notch! Sean, the bartender, was attentive and checked in multiple times to see how everything was and if I needed anything. Perfect amount of checking in on me without being annoying. I did visit midday, so it wasn't too busy but still had a fair amount of customers, and the staff were on top of everything. Sean even accommodate a custom drink order for a pair of customers, which they enjoyed and appreciated. I highly recommend this place and will be visiting again.... and again!

Google
The beer was solid, though not particularly memorable. The food, however, was excellent—refreshingly unique for a pub. My son really enjoyed the smash burger, and my wife loved the seasonal salad topped with perfectly cooked salmon. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable experience. When the sun was in our eyes, they promptly adjusted the window coverings without us even asking. Great service overall

Google
I've supported this business for years at both the old and new location. The last 2 times I've been into the location on Reed market I have had poor service. Our orders were taken, food brought out, and then not a single check in on food quality, drinks, condiments. Literally no check in until we were done eating. This has happened twice now and I don't really feel like going back after this.

Yelp
This place is just what east side Bend needed! Love it. The upper deck is fantastic. Service is on point every time. Food is great!! My only complaint is this. My friends and I love chicken wings . This place has great wings but the size changes drastically from one night to the next sometimes. One night they ate big and juicy and litterly the next night they ate these wimpy bony things that look like they came off a pigeon. To be fair, that has not happened in the last 5-6 times went so maybe that's not a thing anymore.

Yelp
I give it to the servers, they're trying. Trying hard. And kudos to them! But the product is baaad. Pastrami sandwich for $19.00. Smaller and more tasteless as the ones served from Billy Madison's school cafeteria. 5 bites and gone, not full... At all. Side of tater tots, might have been cooked 3 days ago. Hard, tasteless, and white in color. Good thing their beers are pretty tasty or would have absolutely demanded a refund. No wonder the place is empty on a Friday night. Piss poor food. Had to go across the parking lot to buy ourselves actual dinner, after paying for our fake a$$ dinner at Cascades. When leaving was asked by the server if we had fun? Yes, we had fun. Due to the company we were with. It's almost like they know not to ask how the meal was... BAAAD!

Yelp
1st time there! Atmosphere, food and service were awesome. We will return soon. Nice to have the pub in the neighbor hood.

Yelp
My wife and I met a friend (the pastor who married us, actually) here for dinner, while in town on a weekend getaway. It was close to his house, relatively brand new, and he was eager to check it out. He made a wise choice. Seating options include the interior dining area, and two outdoor patios: one on the south side of the building, and another on the roof. Well-stocked with a sizeable selection of IPAs, ciders, pilsners, and other brewed and hopped on-tap options, as well as some select wines, a few craft cocktails, and a full bar for custom concoctions. The menu consists of mainly pub-faire favorites: a smash burger, a BLT/Club combo, fish and chips, pretzels, nachos and other shareable starters. I went with the smash burger, and my wife the falafel bowl, while our friend ordered the BLT Club, and between the three of us, a variety of different pints, a Solstice Sour, an Old Fashioned, and a braided soft pretzel to split. Everybody's entrée was hearty, robust, filling, delicious, and cooked correctly. Our servers were all on the startlingly young end (some of them just this side of puberty, it seemed), but they were all competent, friendly, communicative, and above all, timely and efficient. Cascade Lakes is the sort of casual, welcoming local establishment that may not win any awards for pushing the boundaries of haute cuisine, but what they do offer is solid, tasty, tavern-style stapes, stout stouts, plentiful pints, and most importantly, a convivial communal space to come together as a family, or as in our case, to reunite with old friends, catch up on old times, and share in new, good times. Cheers to that!

Yelp
Today for lunch, I had the blackened salmon with avocado and arugula and lemon aïoli, with my favorite extra crispy tots! Great place to have lunch Cascade Lakes brewing in Bend, Oregon

Yelp
We met some friends here for dinner. Finding the restaurant was an adventure. There are two Cascade Lakes Pubs and our GPS insisted upon directing us to the other pub. Parking was easy. We found a parking space near the front door. We decided that the weather was nice enough to eat on the patio. We found a table for 6 that was shaded from the setting sun and out of the wind. The menu feels small; but, there seemed to be something for everyone. In general, everyone liked their menu choices. I was a bit disappointed in the brisket sandwich's small size; however, the generous pile of onion rings more than made up for the sandwich. Mac & Cheese lacked something; but, we could not identify exactly what was needed to make it excellent. On the other hand, the onion rings were about the best we have enjoyed in the greater Bend area.

Yelp
This is a well-designed pub. Spacious interior with a long bar and plenty of table, a large patio and their signature rooftop bar. I think it will do well. The menu is still being finalized so I'll not comment on that. The only negative I noticed is the men's room is too small for a pub this size.

Yelp
Great pulled pork, turkey club delicious as well. Great service and staff. Filled up by 12:30 so arrive early.

Yelp
This place packs all the punches. Its a nice location and a very sleek new building. Its got a great vibe. It was a nice surprise to see they were hosting bingo on the rooftop bar, I'm not sure if they do this every Sunday but it was pretty cool. My wife got the nachos and I got the french onion soup. Both dishes were very flavorful. We will absolutely be back.

Yelp
Amazing beer !! Service was fast and attentive:) the restaurant itself is beautiful the atmosphere sets a great vibe !

Yelp
Love this addition to Bend's eastside. Awesome view of the mountains from the rooftop bar with great service and food! Killer fish and chips and great selection of beer.

Yelp
The food was decent. The service was poor in my opinion. We waited at least 5 or 10 minutes until we got our drinks ordered. The food came out good just took a while to get ordered. Cocktails were good. Dog friendly patio which was great for my pup. Lots of seating and parking available.

Rick C.

Yelp
First and last time eating here!!! Just had lunch with a couple of friends. Will not be back. Food was iffy at best. Small portions. No service if you are sitting in a "swing" table outside. You waited your own table from start to finish. Then the cashier gave me crap for no tip. Hudge attitude!! In my world, I always tip well ...25% for good service. Bad service.... 0%. Will never go back

Yelp
We were so excited to try our new neighborhood brewery tonight. We are already big fans of Cascade Lakes Brewery but so happy to have a new restaurant option close by. I'm obsessed with nachos, and these did not disappoint! I love the queso Blanco sauce so much and they added a generous portion of pulled pork too. The rib sandwich was one of the best we've ever tried and literally licked our plates clean from this meal. The beer was fabulous as usual and the restaurant was nicely packed for a gorgeous Monday night during summer. We are already planning on going back next week to get a few appetizers and beer at the rooftop bar!

Donk S.

Yelp
Great food, they've pulled it together since they've opened. Great specials, and great staff. Would highly recommend the smash burger and Cubano. The vibe is great and love the outside area and brew deck! They also have a great variety of beer and our mix drinks were phenomenal. Highly recommend giving this place a second shot If you haven't been since opening, they've really turned this place around and I will be going back!

Yelp
I wish we could give stars for separate things. 5 stars for the huge delicious chicken sandwich, service was friendly and attentive and fun, and great ambiance! The deck is cool too and the drinks great although tiny for $14. The bad thing was the smash burger. It was so small like child sized and flavorless. I dumped a bunch of ketchup and mustard on it just to experience something. So yea don't get that. Way over priced for that but the chicken sandwich was loaded and (chefs kiss)

Brittney D.

Yelp
Next to Americana, this is one of my favorite smash burgers in town. Relaxed vibe, cute patio and brew deck. Fun to have servers/bartenders with personalities. Also Lindsey is hot

Yelp
One of my top spots around town! Always fast and friendly, clean, fun ambiance, and the menu is unique for a brew pub - you CAN have a hearty meal without everything deep fried (but pro tip, the jo jos are way worth it).

Yelp
Went for a Saturday afternoon lunch on the rooftop bar with family visiting out of state. Only ~2-3 tables downstairs and another ~2-3upstairs on a weekend, so it wasn't busy whatsoever. Views were awesome and we had ordered some drinks and food. Pretty soon after we had arrived, it became apparent that the lone bartender upstairs was being spread too thin for the amount of business since she had zero help. We ordered the BBQ platter to share at our table and the food was pretty good, we all liked the food. The issue was that there were no forks upstairs when our food came, and when the server dropped our food off, we had asked him for forks, and he said they didn't have any at the moment and he would bring some up. Well, after about 10 minutes it became apparent that he wasn't bringing us any forks. So we asked the bartender, and she was nice enough to go grab some for us, but unfortunately only came back upstairs with one single fork and we still needed some more, so we said we could go grab some ourselves from downstairs. Once we got downstairs and asked for forks, the bartender was extremely rude and aggressive and barked at us that they didn't have any right now and they were all still being cleaned. At this point we've had our food for 10/15 minutes and still couldn't get forks for the food we ordered? Eventually someone grabbed forks off an empty table and gave to us to use. Okay. Then as we were getting ready to leave, we asked the upstairs bartender about our desert that we never received, and eventually we were told to go get one from downstairs on our way out. Pretty ridiculous service at this point, but still whatever. While we were waiting downstairs for our desert, which took another 5 minutes of waiting in the lobby area, my step dad saw the rude and snarky bartender who gave him attitude for asking for forks for our meal, and told him he was sorry if he was being rude, but that he shouldn't argue with customers when they ask for utensils to eat with, the guy responded with more snarky comments about how there wasn't any forks and asked us if he wanted us to stop the dishwasher just for us, yada yada yada more bs and doubling down on horrible service. Whatever. He walks away, and the manager finally comes to bring us our desert, my step dad tells her that her staff shouldn't literally argue with customers when they ask for utensils, and this lady DOUBLED DOWN AGAIN and laid out more snarky comments at us blaming us for our bad experience and called us other fun names. Very nice guys, very nice. Stay classy. Also. "Why does this beer taste like popcorn butter?" -My Fiancée

Yelp
I come here on the regular since it's so close to home for me. Love that it's big and spacious so I don't feel like I'm going to run into anyone. Service is always fast and friendly. I come here mostly for the food specials! Every week it feels like they have something new so it's what keeps me coming back. Love the drinks as well!

Yelp
I was so hoping that we'd get a walkable restaurant in southeast Bend. When Cascade Lakes arrived at Reed South, we were ecstatic, then reality set in. Their food is very hit and miss, in fact it's more miss than hit. I went with family tonight and tried the Fried Togarashi Ribs (6pc) * $19.... They were completely inedible. The only flavor was salt. This has been my experience multiple times, so I give up. If you guys get a real chef and figure out how to make tasty food, let me know! I'll try it again!

Yelp
Cool spot, great service, good vibe although on the louder side. Interior designers should incorporate more absorptive materials!

Yelp
Excellent food. Burgers can be tricky, but mine was cooked to perfection. They are repping for the health conscientious, as well- which is most appreciated! There were a several enticing vegan/veg options on the menu. The menu creation was careful and thoughtful, that was very obvious. Kudos to the culinary leaders! Service was good, working out the kinks on a new restaurant must be challenging, but they did great and all our requests were met with a smile. You could tell our server cared- a lot. Loved that! The vibe was very ambient; perfect lighting, music just right, and a next-level location! Super stoked that the east side finally has an excellent dining option! We will definitely be back! *KtW*

Yelp
3.5* i Its nice to finally have a brewery on this side of town. They havent been open long, but it was really busy. I only had food and found the menu to have more than enough options. The pimiento hush puppies were better than expected. Crisp exterior, these babies were plopped on top of a marinara like sauce. 4/5 The nachos were small for the $19 price and was served in a bowl which made it hard to eat/ serve when sharing. We chose the pork on top and there was barely any meat. Two chunks perhaps. There were plenty of sauce on top which was nice at least but wished it had more cheese sauce and meat. Overall, I liked the flavor. 3/5 The ribs were tender and tasty, not sauced much which is fine with me. It almost tasted like the liqiid smoke though. The cornbread was unfortunately drier than expected and beans were undercooked. Maybe they should cook it with green chile and ham hock for flavor.. onion rings were alright. 3.5/5 Fish and chips: it came with two decent sized pieces of fish fried perfectly and the fish was flaky and tender. The thick potato wedge fries accompanying it was a bit dry.. As something considered "shareable" for $24, I was hoping the plate came with 3 pieces. My son ate 1.5 pieces so it wasnt quote shareable in my opinion. I do wish it came w beer battered french fries instead. 3/5 Overall, its a great spot to hang out. Theres plenty of seating outdoors too, even on the rooftop area and theres a little room for kids to run on the bit of grass and rocks they have. The food itself though is a lite pricey for what you get (specifically the nachos and fish and chips).

Yelp
Don't expect the menu from the West side, totally different. Unfortunately, we had a less than stellar experience here. The service was great, the food, not so much. The babyback ribs seemed more like St. Louis style. They were tough and just barely over room temp. The beans were undercooked, and the corn bread was dry and not a good flavor. Took it home, not even honey butter could help it. I actually took the ribs home and cooked in the Instant Pot for 20 minutes on high pressure and then grilled. They were great after that, but I shouldn't have to pay $35 for ribs I have to cook myself. On the up side, everything deep fried was great...the onion rings, fries, pimento cheese balls. The Smash Burger needed pickles or some produce. We want them to succeed, but it will be quite some time before we try them again.

Pat H.

Yelp
We had a nice dinner of blackened fish tacos (a bit heavy on coleslaw and light on fish but tasty), smash burger, brisket burger, and macaroni and cheese. Overall, very tasty. Our server, Britt, did an outstanding job! She was very accommodating and helpful in our beer selections. Very proactive to all our possible desires. Thanks, Britt. Excellent job!

Peter F.

Yelp
I ordered the ribs, don't need to do that again, I've never had that cut, way much fat, heavy salted crust. Only ate 1 1/2 ribs, they asked if I wanted a box, I left 3/4 of the meal no one asked how it was.

Traci G.

Yelp
Service was good but the Caesar salad do not order. Small, not as advertised on menu, Brussels sprouts were not crispy, very disappointing

Bryan W.

Yelp
Great new location on Reed, SE needs more spots like this. Rooftop seating is awesome but jeeeeeeez hire a chef! The food is still subpar like the other locations. Was hopeful it would improve with the new spot but sadly disappointed. Queso was almost gelatinous and lukewarm, fish tacos were tough and cold, and the salad had no flavor at all. Rice noodles were undersoaked, stiff and brittle. Oh yeah the salsa was basically water too. Prob won't be back for another year to try again

George D.

Yelp
Imagine the feeling you get when you're forced to go somewhere that you know you won't enjoy because you've been disappointed and overcharged by them before and greeted with horrible and laughable "service". That's essentially what I had the displeasure of. The ambiance is either loud or dead silent with service staff on their cellphones or chewing on fries while running food (which is disgusting by the way). The lady working the bar (probably late 30s or early 40s) was pretty dismissive and didn't seem very welcoming at all, pretty much looked like she hated her job. Beer is getting there. But leagues behind other breweries in town that are much more consistent and rewarding. All in all. The food is okay, but expensive for what it is. For these prices you are better off going elsewhere. Cod is a cheap fish. A 6 - 8oz portion shouldn't be $23. I assume they must be hurting if they had to close down one of their locations after building this one, not really a great statement to make when you announce you're a not for profit company. Starting to look more like a "Non profitable company". But there's no tax write off for that.. - G

Madeline S.

Yelp
My go-to brewery! The service is always friendly and efficient, and the rooftop is so fun! The smash burger and nachos are my favorite. Highly recommend!

Francesca B.

Yelp
A couple weeks ago a friend & I thought we'd try Cascade Lakes Pub. I ordered the turkey dip which doesn't look like it's on the menu any more. It said the turkey was "shaved," it wasn't l, it was chunks that were grilled dry. I also ordered a Bloody Mary that was so hot I couldn't drink it. When I ordered it I asked what the spice level of the tomato juice and was told it was mild. This place was disappointing.

Yelp
You have got to be kidding! I'm sure you spent about a half a million dollars getting into this location. Very nicely appointed. But management - you forgot to train your staff. You need to get out of your ivory office and get over there and check in a lot more often than is apparent. My first time there today, I ordered your smash burger. I also ordered it with a slice of cheddar. After the rest of my table had been served a half-an-hour before I finally got my burger, it was, by far, the worst burger I've had in Bend so far, and believe me, I've had almost every burger in Bend. It came with no cheese, and the burger was definitely smashed and overcooked, with just a waft of your burger dressing. No bueno. The fries were not bad at all. When I told the bartender, who I had to give my order to, that my burger did not come with cheese, he replied, "Well, I ordered it with cheese!" No action was taken. The rooftop bar is a nice, breezy location, but the service is inadequate. Tables were not cleared and cleaned and no one seemed to know where the food goes, even though you are given a number for your table. It's like they can't read. I'll give you 6 months to clean up your act. -Mike Mc

Yelp
Service was great, but the product was not good. The whole table can only describe this as 'airport food'. Cascade Lakes used to take pride in their food, but things obviously changed with new ownership. We hope they find their roots.

Yelp
If you want the short version of this review here it is: overpriced extremely underwhelming bordering on bad food and beer. Silver lining is that something good might open up in this spot when this place inevitably closes. The atmosphere is nice in that recently built, no character, box home sort of way. A few tvs in the dining space tiny trendy bar area. Pleasant enough but sterile. The beer is garbage. I am sorry with so many great options in Bend this is by far one of the worst. Had the tropical blur no real hints of anything tropical, no pineapple, citrus etc. The "This IPA" I did not finish it tasted like nothing and an absolute waste of calories. I have no idea what award it won, maybe some sort of senior center homebrewers contest 20 years ago? They had cocktails but with one bartender working I didn't want to wait 40 minutes for a drink. The food is food. It will fill your stomach that's the extent of its accomplishments. The tots and onion rings are most definitely from a bag and fried to mediocrity. If that wasn't enough the portions of both were small, and not befitting the almost 20 dollar per entree price tag. Got the pimento hushpuppies because they looked somewhat original. They were really just round mozzarella sticks in canned marinara, forgettable. The fried chicken sando had a nice sauce but was overcooked or again it came from the freezer because it was dry as hell. The crowning disappointment was the smash burger. It was actively repulsive. Meat was underseasoned, grey, trash, with a disgusting bitter offputting gouda and browned onions, not carmelized just browned. They were not jammy and sweet just bland brown trash. A smash burger is the simplest thing to do, meat thin crispy, melty cheese, some sort of sauce, toasty bun. Took one bite and just stopped annoyed and hungry. 3 beers 1 app, 2 entrees 70 plus dollars gone. I literally live 2 mins from this place and that two minutes in the car was more effort than what these people put into their food and beer. .

Gwendolyn S.

Yelp
They do not have stuff figured out yet. It was busy yesterday around 6pm, with people inside and out. To sit outside, you still have to put yourself on the list. They told me 45 minutes, while at the same time there were several empty tables outside. They don't have their system running smoothly yet to clear tables and get people seated in an efficient manner. But they can fix that. What might be less fixable is that their beer is not great. In a town like this, you can't get away with that for long. Their food was meh (but of course priced like you're at a fine restaurant). This part might be harder to fix and pretty soon people are going to figure that out, and then the whole "being crowded/can't get a seat" issue will fix itself.

Yelp
Congratulations Cascade Lakes Brewing on a new open! This new spot has everything. Vibes are poppin, the space is immaculate, and the staff is incredible. We had such an awesome time. We also appreciated the gluten free friendly menu. So excited for this new hang spot!

Randy C.

Yelp
I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. The service was outstanding, friendly, attentive and gave great suggestions on beer and food selections. The food was delivered quickly I had the smashburger which was quite tasty. The restaurant and ambience exceeded expectations. Love the architecture and design and looking forward to trying the rooftop bar area on my next visit. Cannot say enough positive things about this place.

Brin H.

Yelp
While we have been excited to finally get a few restaurants on our side of town, the City has totally screwed up the parking requirement for this restaurant. With only two businesses open at this location today, parking is full by 530 and there are zero side streets to park on. The restaurant has a refreshing and modern pub decor. The layout is great for indoor and outdoor dining for as long as the weather allows. The menu offers more interest than your usual pub burger and fries. There are salad entrees on this menu that are pretty large and creative. The lettuce isn't always crisp and could use some attention. It's worth checking out. Don't forget to ride your bike though. There will be no parking for you

Yelp
The food, drinks, and staff were great. My dog loves the patio! The fire pit is great as the nights get colder.

Yelp
Really happy to have this beautiful brewpub in our "neighborhood." We live in the sticks, but it is close once we get to town. The service is excellent, even the waiter we had who was on their first day on the job was terrific. It's a relatively small menu but we have enjoyed everything we've tried so far, including the smash burger (extra patty), onion rings, summer roll bowl, and tuna melt. Looking forward to trying the rest!

Yelp
Good beer , good food service was absolutely painfully awful from our waitress. We had to either goto the bar or ask another server. Our first time there and definitely regretted trying them out with so many better options.

R C.

Yelp
Food was average (greasy) and overpriced ($23 for a relatively small order of fish and chips) like many places in Bend. Big problem at our visit was the service. We were halfway through our meal when the waiter shows up with a box for leftovers and demanding payment for the meal. Then he goes to the next table and reprimands the patrons for taking a table in his section after ordering drinks from the bartender and then not ordering food. Maybe his ugly Christmas sweater affected his mood. But more likely, trying to get more tips quicker.

Kelsey R.

Yelp
Went to the new Cascade Lakes pub for their first trivia night & loved it! The trivia host did really well, and they provided a lot of great prizes. It was easy to get a seat at the bar, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The ciders we sipped on were tasty, and we're looking forward to coming back to try the food menu!

Yelp
Absolutely love the brew deck in the summer. Stunning mountain view!! Love the smash burger and the selection of beers. Staff is always friendly and service is great. The dining area downstairs has a great ambiance as well. Love the local music they offer during the week and look forward to visiting again!

Yelp
Service staff was super attentive. Tropic Blur Hazy was very tasty. I had smoked naked wings that were by far best I believe I have ever had. Wife had southwestern salad which she enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this location especially after trecking across town for years to the old location only to be disappointed by the new menu and quality of food this year, We've been a half dozen times to the east location with friends and family and slowly more disappointed each time. It's a huge bummer as we live near by . I've sent black jojos back only to get what I was pretty sure the same ones and we order these everytime, I know what they should be, asked for cocktail sauce for fish and chips and offered ketchup, came in for a a freshly advertised special only to be sold out. Got a side salad with slimy vegetables and when I was served tartar sauce and not dressing our waiter said oh here's this and put down the ranch the other people in my party asked for instead of replacing it. The Cubano was a gray greasy mess, the tomatoes on everyone's plate were grainy , tater tots over cooked , the turkey dip was a cold weird mess of a sandwich with one large lettuce rib and not actual greens on it , the kids meals always feel like an after thought, my kid doesn't even want to go there and the service is always incredibly slow . We feel like we're being held captive after every meal with empty plates and glasses just waiting to pay. The ambiance is nice but doesn't out weight the mediocre food and slow service. In my opinion having been in Bend my whole life the menu needs evaluation and the service doesn't reflect the business it could be . I'll be at sunriver east side where the service is always top notch and the food is consistent.

Yelp
Food was great, Service was great, nice big area even on the roof deck. It's about time they opened a second location and even better on the east side

Yelp
We have been going there intermittently since they opened on the East side. For some reason many items keep changing and the one that my wife has gotten 4 times now has changed every time. Initially the nacho's were some of the best in town. Then they changed how they were made and were extremely " wet " as if the meat wasn't drained. The sauce was different also. Third time she got them they were similar to the initial offering. Recently went there with family members and they had changed again. Chips were soggy, the meat hadn't been drained well and the sauce was flavorless. Two of my family got the brisket sandwich and both indicated that they were extremely greasy and very soupy sauce wise. Fries were basic, Cisco type and flavorless. The smash burger was good, but it's pretty hard to mess up a burger. My brother in law had the fish and chips and said that the oil tasted quite old. It's too bad as it's close to home. At least the beer is good...
