"The Cascade Lakes Brewpub is a family-owned non-profit with all net profits donated to a variety of causes in Central Oregon and beyond. The brewery, founded in nearby Redmond in 1994, offers year-round beers, including the Blonde Bombshell, the Hazy IPA Lotus Pils, a salted caramel porter, and a few rotating specialties. The Bend brewpub is a family-friendly spot with plenty of outdoor fire pits and a rotating seasonal menu. For the best dining experience, get the chef’s Texas and Carolina barbecue specialty, including a house-smoked pastrami sandwich. The previous location on Chandler Avenue is now closed." - Barb Gonzalez, Jeffrey Stull

Another solid Bend brewery and eatery. So many delicious beer options and the plates are plenty big for the price. Service was great, everyone had a smile and were very attentive. The building has great architecture and a lively vibe.

Great new place in Bend, and especially needed on Bend's burgeoning East Side. The food is excellent, cooked right, with great flavors. I tried the dry ranch rub wings, which were very good (the picture shows eight, but that's because I already ate two!). I also had the turkey bacon club with French fries and fry sauce. They don't skimp on the turkey, and the bacon was cooked perfectly, crispy but not overcooked, and all-around great flavor. Fry sauce was unique and delicious! I also had their barrel aged stout, which was seriously good. Service was top-notch! Sean, the bartender, was attentive and checked in multiple times to see how everything was and if I needed anything. Perfect amount of checking in on me without being annoying. I did visit midday, so it wasn't too busy but still had a fair amount of customers, and the staff were on top of everything. Sean even accommodate a custom drink order for a pair of customers, which they enjoyed and appreciated. I highly recommend this place and will be visiting again.... and again!

My wings. Sadly, after waiting 6 months to finally be permitted a cheat meal against my no sodium diet, my wings were not as remembered. Instead of the sticky Korean bbq sauce baked onto the wings (the kind of gooey spicy sweet stuff that sticks to your teeth), we received what seemed to be deep fried plain wings with the sauce on the side. 5 wings, 5 drumettes. They were either 16 or 18 dollars. The wings were still juicy inside, but the drums were dry. The ranch is ranch (not a fan of Ranch, so no matter to me), and the blue cheese was tasty but very runny with a milk-like consistency. The Korean sauce is still divine, but just not the same as I had enjoyed in the previous preparation cooked onto the wings. That sauce would be delicious mixed in with their ground beef to make a burger with maybe Kim Chee and sesame seeds. We decided against a main course after the wings, but I was tempted with the Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding. We both couldn't really put a finger on it, but there was just something off about it. Just wet bread with not a lot of flavor. The sticky toffee wasn't sticky at all; more like a wet drizzle of brown sugar water. Service was pleasant, and another server expedited our appetizer promptly while our original server helped another table. Both servers were friendly and smiling. The check took far too long, and as we were about to wait up front, he showed up apologizing about the ten minutes we had been waiting. Beer Ginger Beer 19 wings Bread pudding $36 and $7 tip

Loved the swinging picnic table! The drinks were great, food was really good. Service was decent, if you sit outside you have to go to the window to order.

Absolutely terrible food and service. Dont het the ribs they are dry and disgusting. The manager Tim sits around and seemingly doesn’t do anything. The three other servers can’t keep up with four tables. Won’t be back ever again.

Our server was amazing (Julian) and super attentive to our entire crew. However, the food was pretty lackluster. The main entrees were fine, despite the buns on all three dishes being so soggy we had to resort to knife and fork. The salsa was sweet tomato sauce with a weird after taste and tasted close to pizza sauce, no heat either. The guac was also terrible and wasn’t seasoned at all. If your apps taste terrible, people aren’t going to linger and buy more beer. Of note, I don’t usually write reviews but I liked the crew and the vibes — if they had better tasting food, it could be a much better hit at Cascade Lakes Pub.

Came here on Saturday to check out the new location. We liked the atmosphere - nice outdoor area for the kids to play around. Food was good (ordered the burger). Service was unfortunately slow - took 40-45 minutes to get our food after we placed our order.

Great beer, excellent nachos, but it's more than a pub. CLBC is a staple in the community that gives back. They get involved in and support athletic events, local non-profits, and much more. Places like this make Bend better.
