Saw the Outlaw Music Festival. It was an 3-11pm day. Getting in was fairly easy not too much traffic and quick lines through security. I spent time in the seating area and the lawn. Good sound inside, decent outside, the video screens didn't work on the outside, otherwise the lawn was nice. Overall a better then average Amphitheatre. Decent variety of food and drinks. The staff was very friendly and kind.

First concert at this amazing venue! Stayed in our RV at the new Dickies RV park just across the freeway. Large under cover area and very well staffed! Acoustics and video is high-end! If you go to their website and print out a carpool pass they let you park in closer lots! Will definitely keep our eyes out for concerts here and return!

This was our first time coming to this venue! Im seriously impressed with parking. ADA parking was flawless we got in and got parked, very little walk to the gate, entry went smoothly a little wand / pat down and i was in. Each time i went to the restroom i was able to use an ADA stall, staff was helpful asking if anyone needed wheelchairs or assistance, when i didnt want to wander the whole place looking for a vender that was listed in the know before you go email, i asked someone and was easily directed. I was happy with the ease of locating our seats. I never saw large lines everything seemed to move really fast. Our seats were great. The sound was wonderful. For me personally the only pit fall was how hot it got, there wasnt much air flow under the cover, guess we need to get some portable neck fans.

Went to Cascades Amphitheater to see James Taylor and his all star band and it was fantastic! Purchased the premium disabled parking and it was worth it as my husband has COPD and can't walk very far without breathing issues so the disabled parking was right in front of the gates to get in! We had the fish and chips from a food cart, so delicious! They only drawback was not many choices for local beer or wine coolers from the drinks carts, just canned odd brands. Had an ale and some peach mango wine cooler that was okay but huge cans, like pounders that were like $10 each! Wish they would get a beer and wine cart that sold Pacific Northwest beers or normal brands we're used to! Other than that we had seats under the covered area in the 200 section that were pretty decent to see the stage and big screens. Glad we took our jackets and sweatshirts as it got cold and windy when the sun went down. Almost no one was on the general admission lawn because it was late May and it usually rains! We bought James Taylor tshirts for our souvenirs! They're awesome! We had a great time! 🤩👍🎸🎶🎵🎶

Google
Really liked the venue. It was right off the highway and easy to get to. We paid for premiere parking which made it super easy and quick to get in. The layout was also very nice. The reason for 4 stars was there was no "healthy" option at all for a snack or meal.

Google
The musicians are always great. Ever since Live Nation took over management of the venue, the experience has gone downhill. There is never enough staff to direct traffic. Be prepared to park a mile outside the event venue if you do not pay for premium parking or have ADA accessibility parking. It does not matter if they don’t fill the parking spots up near the event. They are determined to milk the venue for every dollar they can squeeze out of it. Lawn seats have gone up in price dramatically. You can no longer bring your own low rise lawn chair to the events. You must pay the $20-$25 to rent their lawn chairs. At a recent concert the entire lawn section was empty. This management will end up driving the amphitheater into the ground. Such a shame. Photo shows the empty lawn 15 minutes into show time.

Google
We went to see Styxx on June 15th, Father's day. It was a great show. We originally had lawn seats but got actual seats and either way you can see so much. It's a cozy place where big names come. It has great seat prices and free parking. You can upgrade for a price but we didn't see the need. I am actually looking into yearly passes. The staff was friendly, the venue was clean, and the porta potties were not nasty. I truly recommend this place.

Google
Smaller outdoor venue. Traffic and Parking can be a bear, recommend getting there early. For more popular events, if the venue parking lots are full, you’ll have to get creative with finding a spot and then hike to the theatre. Bag and blanket limitations. If seated on the lawn, no outside chairs allowed but are available inside to rent. No outside food or drinks allowed. Eat a meal before you get here, main food options are abysmal. Been here a few times, usually hot dogs, maybe a double cheeseburger, chicken tenders, pan pizza - all overpriced with subpar quality. Little to no condiments. Snacks on the other hand, also overpriced, are not bad. Bathroom facilities are generally clean when I’ve been there and decently sized. The line may be long but usually moves pretty quick. All things considered, all the shows I’ve attended have been enjoyable.

Yelp
This is MY first time here, but my brother and partner go to concerts in the area often. If you ask them, it's one of the best. You will need to do a bit of walking no matter where you park. Even the close lots require a bit of hoofing it, but in my opinion not worse than a fair or festival. For pricing of food, it isn't horrible. Much of the food is even a bit cheaper than other venues. If you get the commemorative cup soda you get free refills, which rocks especially on a hot day. Speaking of hot day, if you're going to a summer concert bring a water bottle and wear light layers. We were in the front and it was SO HOT! Luckily, there were plenty of places to get water. I'm not a huge concert person, but I wouldn't mind going here again if someone I like was playing.

Yelp
I'll start with the positives, as there are a scant few things the venue does well. The place is clean, and the sound quality for the artists is excellent. The performers themselves were fantastic, which is a big reason we went. They also have a free water refilling station, which is a nice touch and much appreciated. The staff, for the most part, are friendly teenagers who don't know what the deuce they are doing, but try to be helpful (though they're clearly limited by the venue's policies). That said, our experience at this amphitheater was incredibly disappointing, especially compared to past visits. I used to love coming here for shows, but this time was a far cry from those enjoyable days. We arrived early, but parking was a nightmare. We were stuck in a distant lot with no clear signage or assistance for accessibility needs. My husband is not "disabled" but does have mobility issues, where he is unable to walk long distances due to a knee injury. There is no infrastructure to help--no shuttles and no clear directions for accessible parking (which apparently costs extra anyway). The long walk to the venue was grueling for him, and completely avoidable with better planning. Once we got to the entrance, we were hit with a barrage of restrictive rules. Gone are the days when you could bring lawn chairs or a reasonably sized bag. Now, bags must be clear and smaller than 12x6x12 inches. Anything else? You're forced to check it for $10 and then pay another $20 for a clear bag if you want to bring your stuff inside. Oh, and forget bringing your own lawn chairs--they're banned too. Conveniently, the venue rents chairs for $20 each. It feels like a blatant cash grab. And the price gouging doesn't stop there. Food items were outrageously priced at $17-$20, and cocktails were a staggering $24-$28. It's hard to enjoy a show when you feel like you're being fleeced at every turn. The bag check process was so slow that, despite arriving nearly an hour early, we missed the start of the opening act. That set a sour tone for the evening. By the time we settled in, we were so frustrated that it took most of the performance to even start enjoying ourselves. The seating was another major issue. The chairs are tiny, cramped, and incredibly uncomfortable, even for someone of average size. It made relaxing during the show nearly impossible. The bathroom situation was just as bad. The line for the restroom stretched what felt like forever--easily 20 yards long. Some of the men in our group ended up avoiding it entirely and resorting to the bushes near our car after the show. Keep in mind, we needed the bathroom when we arrived, but the wait was so ridiculous we gave up. Leaving was its own ordeal. My husband (the one with mobility issues) struggled to make it back to the car. We asked staff about getting a golf cart or some assistance, and while the youths seemed willing to help, the chaotic parking lot setup made it impossible. The traffic flow was so poorly organized that we couldn't even drive up to pick up my group, forcing my husband to endure a painful walk. Unless there's an absolute must-see artist I can't catch elsewhere, I won't be back to Cascades Amphitheater (or whatever they are calling it this week). This experience was so frustrating and rotten that I wish zero stars was an option. It's a resounding NO from me, dawg.

Yelp
I just want to start by highlighting the good before I go there... The venue's clean The sound and artists are great They have a free water refilling station that's actually really nice Employees are friendly and pretty helpful within the parameters they have to work with There was a time I really enjoyed going to this amphitheater. I've been to MANY shows there in the past and always had a great experience. However, that is definitely not the case now... We arrived early. We parked way far out and one of us is disabled. I thought there might be some infrastructure for handling this. There isn't. Aside from some "ADA parking" that we didn't even know about and you have to pay more for, as far as I know. After the painstaking trek to get to the venue. We were met with their massive list of rules. In the past, we were always allowed to bring lawn chairs, bags with various stuff to enjoy the show. That's not the case anymore. You're not allowed to bring bags if they're beyond certain dimensions (12x6x12 if I remember right) and they have to be clear. Just like typical arenas these days. You're also not allowed to bring your own lawn chairs anymore. You have to check both those and any bags that don't fit their "criteria" and pay $10 to check them in (and then turn around and pay $10 each for a clear bag if you want to enter with the stuff you brought) Did I mention that right inside the venue they have chairs you can rent for $20? Gimme a break. The bag check took so long that we ended up missing the beginning of the first artist (keep in mind that we arrived EARLY) The price gouging doesn't end there. Many of the food items are in the $17-$20 range and if you want cocktails. Those will cost you $24-$28. We were so pissed off by the time we got to our seats that it took probably over half the show before we even started enjoying what we were there to see. The wait for the bathroom is ridiculous too. The line for the men's room extended probably a good 20 YARDS. I and the other gentlemen ended up peeing in the bushes near our car when we left. Keep in mind that we had to go to the bathroom when we ARRIVED. My friend (the disabled one) was hobbling when we left the venue and I asked the traffic guys if we could get a golf cart or something to get us. They tried really hard to get it to happen, but it was insanely busy trying to get the patrons out of the parking lots and there was no way. Traffic flow was also setup in such a way to where I couldn't go get the car and pick the rest of my party up to avoid my friend having to walk all the way back to the car. Unless there's a bucketlist artist that I won't be able to see again, otherwise. I WON'T be returning to Cascades (or whatever they name it this week) Amphitheater. I would give it 0 stars if there was an option.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I was expecting a more ran down older venue, however, it's set up quite well and the amenities are above par.

K S.

Yelp
Nice facility and staff are very nice and helpful. The one thing that takes the rating down is the inefficient entrance and concession lines. It would help a lot if they just opened a no bag line or had security direct people who didn't have bags to walk on through. There are far more positives. Seating options are excellent. The facility it very clean. The employees are great. The biggest surprise was the food. I had nachos that were better than many restaurants with fresh guacamole, sour cream, corn salsa. The burgers looked good. Not the typical area food.
google avatar

Sally K.

Yelp
We bought $30 each cover charge for the Backyard area. It was sparse and looked NOTHING like what's advertised on the website. The bar was great but the food was horrible. The worst cheeseburger and chicken strips ever and horribly overpriced. And you can't leave with your cocktail and bring in outside food. The amphitheater was cool. Nothing to write home about. Definitely pay for the quick departure parking.

Yelp
What happened to the big screens for the lawn seats. That was the best part about being in the grass!!! Tickets are now double what they used to be and now cannot see the stage. Very disappointing.

Zilla L.

Yelp
Just so people know I have been to 100's of show's , many in bigger cities. The parking is a joke / food and drink are way too steep for the quality you get and when the concert let out ( Toto ) the parking/ traffic management was the worst ever!! A bunch of young kids who didn't know what was going on, yet could gather in groups and talk and play around while waving their little flashlight sabers. Worthless bunch all around. They had people driving out the wrong way and after 40 mins of getting really nowhere they turn everyone around to go the proper way.We honestly don't care if our fave bands ever come here , because we'll never come here for a concert again.Tickets to see bands are expensive enough, then you add more $$ for so called lmao Premier parking only to fuck things up beyond belief ...we'd give no stars if we could.!!!

Yelp
A group of my friends and I went to the Cyndi Lauper concert here. Cyndi put on a great show! We rented their lawn chairs and I was happy to see they were not the low ones that I was expecting. They were a cross height-wise between a low chair and a normal hight camping chair. They cost $15 which was an ok price, but felt, like a lot of places these days, between the parking lot different pricing for being close and fast in/out and chairs that they Nickle and dime you here. Lines are long for any drinks and food but if you go early enough you won't lose any concert time. They do have a nice drink garden to hang out in, as you can't bring alcohol back in to the concert area. You can bring in food in up to a gallon size zip lock bag, and this is nice to do! We had a charcuterie dinner. I highly recommend driving as a carpool to events here, we printed out the page that you put in the front window as you drive in and you'll be able to park in a fast in/out lot, without paying extra for. We parked in lot C and had no wait getting out of the lot. We were directed to the road that goes along with the highway for a little over a mile and then hit the highway. It was the quickest way out I've experienced here.
google avatar

Wendy C.

Yelp
I would rather eat barbed wire than ever attend a concert here again. I've been in the same spot for two hours. Gridlocked. There is one, one lane road in and out. Easily takes 5 hours or more to leave the venue. Beware. There's a reason they cut the prices to the shows, $25 concert is not worth the 6hour wait to get to the road.

Yelp
1. We had to park in the back of the lot furthest from the venue and walk for 15 minutes past three huge, empty parking lots much closer to the theater. Who makes these decisions? I'm a disabled combat veteran, but I was not about to pay $50, the cheapest paid parking option. 2. I scoured their webpage checking for all restricted items and they state that ¨Illegal drugs/substances¨ are not allowed, so I brought my favorite pipe with a little herb, after all, we were there to see the DOOBIE Brothers. I wasn't breaking any rules or laws and didn't try to hide anything (cannabis is legal in Washington), but I was told I had to walk 15 minutes back to the car or throw it in the ¨contraband¨box. If legal cannabis is not allowed, JUST SAY SO ON YOUR WEBSITE morons! 3. The food and drink prices were absurd, $17 for a can of beer, $7 for water, and $28 for a small frozen margarita. We refused to waste our money and so did the majority in attendance from what I could see. If they would simply cut their prices by 50%, they would likely double their profits and make the event more enjoyable for customers. 4. The acoustics in the open venue covered by a metal roof were terrible. I couldn't recognize several of my favorite songs because of all of the background noise and the instruments overpowering the vocals. Very disappointing. 5. Fortunately, I paid just $14 for the event thanks to VetTix, so I can't complain too much, but I lost my favorite pipe and will never return to this venue. Yelp
Saw Hozier last night, first time seeing a show at RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater. Getting in and getting out- complete nightmare. Traffic backs up all along the I-5 trying to get in- you inch along. Parking lots everywhere, but you are directed where to park. It's one way in, one way out. Show was great- seating in the 200s was fantastic. A margarita -$24 - pretty sure had no tequila, minimal at best- way overpriced. Now leaving- wow- just wow. We left during the last song to avoid crowds- took us 2 hours to get out- 2 hours!!! It was a nightmare. Likely the last show we will see here. We live in Washington state- we have the best of the best artists come throughout many venues- avoid this venue!!
google avatar

Frances L.

Yelp
You can no longer bring in your own chairs, you have to reserve theirs and the price has gone up :( Prices on food was reasonable $10 for nachos $16 for a voltagio brothers burger. The bands are always great will continue to visit and arrive fashionably late to avoid traffic
google avatar

Amelia M.

Yelp
NIGHTMARE. First, getting here was a nightmare. Every single access road was blocked other than one. Drinks and food are insanely overpriced 20 bucks for beer and 7 for water. Last, getting out of the parking lot feels like I'm paying back all my bad karma from this life and PAST LIVES. Zero direction on how to exit the parking lots. I'm writing this currently in the parking lot, about an hour and a half after the show ended, still at a standstill. Haven't moved an inch. Unless you LOVE the artist performing do not come here. Sucks monkey
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
I recently went the Styx concert and sat very close to the front in the 102 section, row O seats 26-28. The seats were so narrow and close together that normal size adults could not sit comfortable back in their chairs as your shoulders are much wider than the tiny chairs that are right next to each other. For $140 seats with $22 cans of concession water I expect more comfortable seating. We won't ever be going back to this venue. When we saw Black Sabbath years ago, the seats were not like this. I see why shows are not sold out now.
google avatar

Jesse W.

Yelp
The fish and chips from the truck is legit, the rest is rather underwhelming. Having been to the seats and the lawn, I'll never sit on the lawn again.

Yelp
Despite all the horror stories we read in other's reviews, we had a fabulous time. First, very quick and easy getting in and out. ALL staff were friendly, well trained and very helpful given it was our first time there - parking attendants, ticket/security, VIP lounge servers, etc. food was excellent in the lounge. Restrooms were spotless and attractive. We especially enjoyed playing cornhole while waiting for the concert to begin. If we could change anything it would be to leave home an hour later since we didn't encounter any traffic getting to our parking spot. Truly a fabulous concert with excellent sound

Christian D.

Yelp
The drinks there are crazy overpriced I got 3 supposedly mason jars drinks that were 30 bucks each and didn't even come with a mason jar but a flimsy plastic bottle, that's not even mentioning that there was almost no alcohol in it and it was 80 percent ice. So in all the show I went to was great the venue is okay it's a very nice venue but a complete scam when it comes to food and drink

Yelp
The RV Inn Style Amphiteater was the worst concert venue I've been to in my 47 years on earth. I knew ahead of time that the parking lot exit situation was horrible, so I went to their FAQ and it mentioned an Aspen Shuttle running for some non-weekend concerts when the public transit isn't operating. (The venue's "easy out" parking lot was $100 which should have been a sign.) Getting on the shuttle was fine. We left immediately at the last long and beelined it for the shuttle area. Granted - we didn't remember exactly where the shuttle boarded. But we figured we could just ask a staffer. There was an army of parking lot attendants, but their main duty was yelling at people to leave or get out of the way. ***The 1st parking attendant we asked gave us completely WRONG information for the shuttle location, yet acted 100% confident in their instructions.*** So we spent 25 minutes walking to the opposite side of the massive parking lot based on bad directions. The next few attendants we asked treated us like criminals for even approaching them, and yelled that they didn't know where the shuttle location was and we needed to exit the premises. (Yes, there were drunk people there, but I was 100% sober and my friend had had 1 drink. Even if we had been wasted, some common courtesy would have been nice.) One attendant radioed to get an answer for us, and told us that the shuttle location was at the "rear" of the amphitheater. Somehow we made it there 20 minutes later, after being yelled at by various other workers, to get out of the way of the massive train of cars. When we got to the shuttle area, there were 150 people in line, and not a shuttle in sight. I had a babysitter to get home to, so I had to order a Lyft for $100. That driver couldn't find the pickup spot and said the police had shut down one of the roads. Fortunately we were able to cancel that ride, and ended up getting a different Lyft from the Rideshare pickup area, for like $40. I was still late to relieve my babysitter. ***The concert ended at 10:30 and we didn't get in the Lyft til 11:45.*** I will never go to this venue again.

Yelp
I decided to spring for the VIP lounge and the VIP parking since I wasn't too familiar with the venue and couldn't find any info on the lounge. The parking was nice, we got to drive past the line and park right by the entrance. Leaving was also super easy and got right out while passing all the other cars in line. For someone who hates lines, this was worth it! The VIP lounge was very vague on the description when going to purchase. The lounge is located outside of the arena area in an event tent. I was hoping it was facing the stage somehow but nope! The setup was actually pretty cute and lots of different seating options; comfy lounge chairs, a fire pit outside with seating around it, and tables better suited for those ordering food. They did have their own restrooms that are MUCH nicer than the regular venue ones and come with basic amenities such as mints, hairspray, tampons, etc.. There were food and beverages available, also nicer than the options outside of the tent. We had a delicious gin cocktail and hummus platter, both were great, though very over priced. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive staff.

Yelp
Event: Janelle Monáe Concert Pros: The event was amazing! The venue was amazing! Most of the venue was covered which was a huge plus! There was also lawn area for people who wanted to sit with chairs. The area outside of the concert venue was dope as well! There was a lot of space to socialize before actually entering the venue which was cool! Cons: N/A

Yelp
Parking was no biggie (distance was max about 0.5 miles as we parked at the exit as was recommended to make a quick exit , and left just maybe a song from the end)- and not as near a hassle ,in my experience to the Edgefield/ the Gorge ... but it is a smaller venue. That said, the lawn experience is probably better at Edgefield, but everything else was far superior- we had seating in the 200s and that was great in terms of comfort, audio, ease of access. Loved the smaller more intimate setting, great acoustics... Bathrooms are nice! Not porta potties !! And kept very clean by housekeepers in constant attendance- in fact a spilled drink in the main aisle was quickly mopped up. Food was regularly priced for a venue, drinks indeed were off the hook expensive - but liked the easily accessible refilling stations for the water bottles you were allowed to bring in. Next time we will pack food too( as it's allowed- easy to make a stop at Chipotle and bring in dinner!) All in all I think a lot depends on the day of the week and the crowd - ours was a Friday night drive from Portland: we left at 5pm got there 5:45, got to our seats by 6 ( plenty of time to go back out and explore)- the reggae crowd definitely doesn't rush things- the Marley Brothers started an hour late at 8:30, the crowd didn't really arrive until 8pm... but that was ok, lesson learned we enjoyed the show and will be back. Included a shot of the loaded nachos - yummy $17 ( forgot WA has tax though so $18.49)

Kyle N.

Yelp
Spent an hour and a half in the parking lot trying to leave. Absolute joke of a venue

Sadie B.

Yelp
parking actually feels like you are living through a nightmare. Was over an hour late to the show because of it, missed the entire opening act, and now am sitting in the parking lot for over an hour just waiting to go home. Horrible, horrible venue - will never be coming here again strictly because of how disorganized they are. Going to the moda center is literally a dream compared to this hellhole.

J A.

Yelp
the parking situation is unacceptable. we were being sent back and forth between two groups of parking enforcement on either side of the venue, each group was frustrated we kept coming back but the other group would turn us around and send us back to the previous. we missed an entire band's performance because it took so long to convince them to let us try and find ADA parking even though they claimed there were absolutely no parking spaces of any type. once we arrived at the actual parking lot, there were tons of parking spaces EVERYWHERE. i have no clue what they were thinking. customer service stated that several people complained to them within the last five minutes about what parking enforcement was doing. we drove 6 hours to see this concert. i'm so angry and so disappointed.

Syd M.

Yelp
Failed to inform any of the crowd that BELTS aren't allowed in anymore. If you were hoping for your pants to stay up during the concert, try a different venue. Was excited for pierce the veil and was immediately disappointed by having to leave stuff behind.
google avatar

Kayla V.

Yelp
Has some potential, but it falls short in a few key areas. While they hire staff to manage parking and exiting, there's no clear plan in place, experience trying to leave after the show. Unfortunately, during the last two events we attended, overly intoxicated and disruptive individuals ruined the experience for everyone around them. On a positive note, we did enjoy the $11 unlimited popcorn. If they could improve the organization and crowd control, it could be a much more enjoyable venue. Drinks are outrageous high! $18-24 is crazy for a can of beer
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Won't go back. We purchased lawn seating for a show and when we got there, we were told not enough seats were sold so they closed the lawn and upgraded everyone's to seats under the pavilion. That's not what I wanted which is why that's not what we bought. First off, it was SO hot so we sat there in the miserable heat with no air flow. It was awful. Had we been able to sit in the area we bought our tickets for, we would have had some room to breath which again was what I wanted. Second (and more importantly), COVID is on the rise and all three of our party spent the next week+ with COVID. Why not give people the option?? What difference does it make to the venue if people want to keep their lawn seating?? I won't take a chance again. There were other minor things like not being able to bring in chairs, the parking situation ... etc., but my issue was more forcing me to sit in an area I didn't want to sit in.

Davis P.

Yelp
Well I can see the parking situation hasn't changed since I was last here 10 years ago. Now I remember why I don't like going to this venue; it's a complete nightmare getting in and out of there. Even the best concert experience gets overshadowed by it, and I've seen some pretty good shows here. I got lucky tonight by leaving a couple songs early and sprinting to my car which was parked a country mile away, but there are people who won't hit the freeway until 90 minutes after the last song. And I don't need to say anything about the concessions. We all know it's a complete ripoff. The inside staff seemed pretty ok - the parking lot staff were juvenile delinquents.

Yelp
This place is great but Hella unorganized. The food is shitty period..they should focus on good smaller food not expensive badly done smothered pork and such..the beer is OK small shitty selection..the concerts depending on how it's laid out can be awesome or shitty..and the lawn is really the only thing going for this place if ya want to see well hear a band u love live..because u ain't seeing shit from the lawn!. It's clean but the Hella walk around uphill both ways..parking off in timbuck2..and then the 2 hours to get in and 2 hours to get out make this place a bust for me..I'm hoping ilani..catches on and designs a modern better more surround inclusive..better food and beer place and this one for sure gonna be shut down!

Yelp
Had a good experience once we switched seats We couldn't see when the tall guys in front of us stood up. But nice venue! Easy in and out. Liked the small amphitheater atmosphere.

Yelp
Parking/traffic control is atrocious, like stupid bad. Can't believe I hadn't heard about this before going to my first show given it must be that way for every big show. I'd try and offer advice on how to beat it but even after going thru it I'm really not sure where to start. Park near a lot exit that's closer to the main road and not the admission area, that's the best I got for ya! Show was great, we had decent seats but it's not really an outdoor concert feel in the lower bowl that has the roof. Not sure how people in the back see the stage well with the low roof but whatever, I'm not going back.

Yelp
Unfortunately parking was a nightmare as foretold by others. We arrived 2 hours after our original ETA and that included leaving our house in pdx 3 hours early. Missed the first few songs of an already postponed show. ): Sound and stage were beautiful and the employees were incredibly kind and helpful - the parking issue is no fault of theirs. Probably wouldn't see anyone again unless I bought VIP parking which seemed to get people in and out quicker.

Yelp
5 stars? Ohhhh myyyyy. Why the big rating? Is seating incredible? Are the chairs super ultra comfy? Is the amphitheater spacious? Nope. The chairs are standard hard plastic, and all stuffed together in ridiculously long rows. I've sat in there many times, always close to the aisles because I can only give so many people a$$ while, saying "excuse me, excuse me, excuse me" before I get annoyed. Well then, 5 stars must reflect the food and drinks, right? Are there so many options? Is the food really tasty? Do I find myself craving things I can only get during the summer when the venue opens? Are the prices just beyond reasonable? Big nope. Everything is stupid expensive, from the (almost) $4 bottled waters to the $30+ cocktails made with more syrup than liquor. I'm an effort to save myself some small degree of money, I opt for canned seltzers (at least they are big cans). I do like the pulled pork nachos, they are surprisingly good. So why the 5 stars? It's simple. I love the shows. I love music. I always always look forward to laying on the lawn and absorbing all the energy from the fans and the artists, drinking seltzers, until the sun goes down. If you have never been to a show here, I highly recommend it. It is one of my favorite places to be in the summer. Tips, if I may - 1. Read the rules about chairs and bags. Security is going to deny you entry, whether you paid 30 bucks for lawn tickets or 300 for VIP. I know, I've watched it happen. Your chair should be the low beach kind and your bags should be see through/transparent OR the size of your hand. 2. Bring an empty water bottle so you aren't paying $4 for a single bottle inside. You can fill it at the water station. 3. Get there early. I mean, early. Especially if you know the artist is trendy. The gates open at 5, plan to arrive around 3 for big names or you'll wind up in line behind 400+ people. Trust me, again. This just happened at the Eric Church/Jelly Roll concert I went to. Luckily, I got there early enough to only end up behind about 50 people. 4. ADA parking is limited and as long as you have a valid parking pass, you'll be allowed in to the back area. This fills up pretty fast tho, plan accordingly. Also, it does not give you perks to get into the venue faster. You'll still have to wait in line. If not in line, security will check where you should be and you'll have to wait up front until that spot turns up at the front of line, as tho you were waiting in the actual line. Lots of people don't know this. Just another observation I've made on my many trips here. 5. Cash is not needed here. It is now a cashless venue so no need to bring anything but cards here! Here's to you and making memories, listening to amazing music. Cheers!

Yelp
This is a pretty cool venue! The name is unfortunate and makes it seem like it'll be lame though. I can't imagine the view from the lawn being remotely worth it, but we sat in the chairs in the middle section and it was good! I like that it's outside but it's covered so you aren't in the elements. Food and drinks are astronomical but it's a nice area outside the amphitheater. Bathrooms are big and relatively clean. The worst thing was the traffic in and out. It's definitely worse getting out because I think people can pay extra for special parking that lets them out first. We sat in our car for 20 minutes not even moving.

Yelp
So tired of the price gouging at this place! $6.75 for a cup of ice water? Really? $30 for a Margerita that they claim is made with tequila when it's obviously made with wine. $60 for parking if you want to wait 30 minutes to get out instead of an hour. The list goes on!

Yelp
Great show, TERRIBLE VENUE & PARKING!! PARKING: We showed up late specifically to miss traffic coming into the show and because we didn't care to see the opener. As we arrived we had two tweakers wearing orange vests come running from a car they had been sitting in, with one waving us on and the other yelling for us to stop. Once stopped, I asked why we were stopped? There are 4 lanes set up for incoming traffic, not a car in sight, and they don't take payment or check tickets at the roadway. The tweaker who had just been standing in front of the car waving her arms, stopped chewing her face long enough to tell me "I dunno, keep moving!" and waved us on......While parking in the lot across from Premier where we were directed to go, I observed at least 10 other parking attendants going in and out of a shipping container with an open door, and observed more than one of them smoking on a glass meth pipe before relocating our vehicle to another part of the lot. Then while walking in we heard someone yelling for a medic and appeared to be an overdose happening with another one of the workers...... SECURITY: As mentioned, we arrived late, so we were the only ones going through the security area when we arrived. I had no bags or anything, my wife only had a tiny clutch purse. My wife's tiny clutch purse got searched once, no biggie and waved us on. Got through metal detectors with no issue and no alarms.....Then as we approached the ticket check area, we got told we had to go to another area with metal detectors and searched again, this time much more aggresively. When asked why we were being searched etc again, we were told if you set off the metal detectors you have to be searched......but we had just passed through them without any alarms going off. CONCESSIONS: Don't even think about it. It's by far the most expensive concessions I've ever seen. It's worse than football games, worse than Moda, even more expensive than Disney.....Besides being pricey, the food quality here is terrible. It's greasy, and waaaay overpriced. A pretzel with no cheeze or sauce (that's $3 extra), a water, and a corn dog was $40. Beers are by far the most expensive I've ever seen. I paid $25 for an IPA, and the wife paid $28 for a plastic jar with a strawberry lemonade drink that was NOT good. EXITING THE LOT: This was another effort in futility. I parked facing out, backed into my space, along the main entrance out of our lot, 8 cars back. It took me more than an hour to get out of our lot and onto the main road out. It was more than 90 minutes to exit. Mind you, this was for an event that they closed the grass and made everyone sit under cover because a lack of ticket sales. All of the dozens of tweaker parking attendants seemed to have vanished. In the lot which earlier had more than a dozen attendants just sitting around when we were parking, there was one. He stood uselessly where he should have been stopping and directing traffic, right where all points came to a head. Instead of actually directing traffic, stopping and letting some lanes go, etc...he turned his back to traffic and watched the cluster-fvck of a traffic jam on the only main road out of the place. After about 45 minutes he totally turned his flashlight wand off and sat on a rock smoking a cigarette watching the B.S. try to sort itself out. What should have been a quick 20-30 minute exit was almost 2 hours to exit a half-full venue.

Yelp
They need to figure out this parking situation before next summer's concert series. It is absolutely unacceptable for people to pay for an experience they look forward to for months, just to miss the majority of the show. This problem is not due to poor planning on the concert goes behalf either. I've tried coming early, I've tried the shuttle, I've tried leaving early, I've tried ubering, and the fact of the matter is the entire system put in place by this venue is not functional. Problem solving this should be a priority as they plan for next year. I'm crossing my fingers that none of my favorite artists choose to book this venue in the future.

Yelp
Time to hire grown ups to work the concerts - paid way to much money to be in row 2 to have a teenager tell me I need to move over 6 inches - brought a cop to move me - even he thought it was dumb - will never go back / parking sucks too - paid for aisle - only to find out the added seats so it was not a aisle any more - other people pissed too !! shady shit

Yelp
let me start by saying this is specifically about the venue, not the artists that perform there. i have been here a couple of times and each time it was a poor experience. to start, i spent over $1200 on two vip packages for marilyn manson on aug 31. it was HOT and sunny that day, and so i brought an umbrella to protect myself from the sun (because i burn so easily and melanoma runs in my family) apparently i wasn't allowed to bring the umbrella in the OUTDOOR venue because it could be "used as a weapon." are you kidding me?! the staff couldn't care less when i politely expressed my concern about the situation. also, we weren't allowed to bring in a purse. a purse?! a normal sized purse. however the venue conveniently has similar sized bags available for *purchase* for a whopping 10 dollars for what barely amounts to a ziplock bag. this is extorting people for money. this was not the only time i noticed extreme price gouging. for two beers; 2! they wanted almost 50 dollars. this is just price gouging people who already paid you 1200+ for the VIP EXPERIENCE. and that brings me to the actual meet and greet. the meet and greet took place under some of the only cover (a large tent?) the line was fine and expected, but the staff rushed us through so fast which I sorta understand, but immediately after the meet and greet, the staff was adamant we leave from under the tent like immediately and treated us as if we were trespassing and condescendingly hurried us back out into the mercy of the sum. so for forcing me to go without an umbrella on an almost 100 degree sunny weather, price gouging and the incredibly rude staff i hope to never want to see an artist badly enough to return to this venue.

Yelp
I have been to eight or nine concerts here over the years. Last night was probably my last one. I am a woman in my sixties and not in great shape. When we arrived last night, I was shocked to discover that sometime in the past two years, they have started having the unwashed public park in fields probably about a mile from the amphitheater. It was 95 degrees, and we had to walk all that way. I was a sweaty mess by the time we got to the show. This is not to mention that we had to repeat the process on the way out -- in the dark, over lumpy fields. At least it was a little cooler. Research has shown that they have VIP parking -- but it costs $50 to $100! I don't think so. Once I've spent money on concert tickets, gas to get there, food, I'm not going to spend an exorbitant amount on parking. I also want to say that the parking attendants mumbled and barked instructions, and were very surly when you asked them to repeat it. Please note: This place has a million picky rules. Go to their site and read them all. My friend had to take his metal water bottle back to the car. I got to take mine in, because it's plastic. DO NOT try to bring in lawn chairs -- you'll have to make that long trudge back to the car. The highlight of the amenities was the ushers. They were so helpful, friendly and kind. One of them even took my water bottle and refilled it for me, bringing along a wet paper towel to put on the back of my neck. Unless you are in great shape and don't mind walking a long ways, I would skip coming here.

Yelp
I actually like this venue because IT IS SMALL. Yes - food is limited and really not that good at all. Three merch areas though which is pretty decent for a small venue, AND you can order ahead to purchase your merch without waiting in line. (I don't remember how - google it, it's really easy and straight forward). However, everyone reading this review really needs to take into consideration just how chilly this venue is after 6pm... the sun goes down, and there are no trees to block the ever present wind. I understand that yall look REALLY SPECTACULAR in those short hoochie skirts and shorts (all genders), but really you should consider bringing a jacket or two. Fashion AND function. Concerts 10/10. Venue food 5/10. Alcoholic beverages 8/10. Bathrooms and cleanliness 8/10. Merchandise shops 10/10 and you can preview and order in advance when you park before you enter the venue.

Yelp
The logistics are the worst ever. Getting in and out is a total disaster, with very little organization of traffic flow to and from parking lots. Hours getting in and out. I won't go again it isn't worth it.

Yelp
Believe the bad reviews, but I do have some tips that will help make this less painful. If you must choose this venue to see your favorite Artist and you've never been here, this review just might be for you. First, take reason and expectations and throw it out the window, second get here early and leave early, yep, I said it, leave early unless you have 1-2 hours of free time and are ok with paying the baby sitter OT. Tips : Before you leave your house, fill up your cooler with cold drinks and sandwiches, you'll thank me later. When you get off the freeway and head west, DO NOT take the first left, stay straight until you see people wearing reflector vest 1/8 mile west of the freeway, that's where you make a left to head to the parking lot. You will not see any signs or flags or anything that would be common sense. Ok, now that you're finally parked, do not get out of your car and get in line, stay in your car and have your own tailgate party with your friends before the gate opens. I just saved you tons of $$$ and probably a food borne illness. Before packing all your tailgate food and drinks away, go to the 5 porta potty's that are in the parking lot before heading into venue, unless you want to wait in a long line to go to restroom. Once in the venue you might be tempted to buy a drink, you will drop 17 bucks a drink and they do not take cash. Take earplugs, it's pretty loud, this is coming from a musician. All & All ; Bring your own food, drinks and tailgate. leave early from home and leave before the show ends. Earplugs are needed. Good luck !

Yelp
I can't find a single thing about this place that is "recommendable" - even if you are a Portland resident in need of an epic amphitheater experience. The "good" stuff: concert sound is good; food is mediocre at best; beer choices are average for corporate venues but relatively poor for the PNW. The bad: the ushers are mainly 18 year old girls who have zero authority or oversight- mist of them are very nice but in way over their heads. At least give the poor kids real Live Nation flashlights so they don't have to use their cell phones lights to see in the dark! There is minimal (none) safety lighting in the seating areas. Cell service near the facility is non-existent. The really bad: the management of traffic in and out of the venue is abysmal. The facility and WSP's gross mismanagement and negligence of traffic is unacceptable. It took us 2 hours to drive 3 miles to get INTO the venue - almost missing the headliner's first set. Getting out was slightly less of a shit show, except there is zero signage and zero guidance from WSP regarding which lane to be in for I5 South or North. All the lanes are coned off - even if there were signs, you couldn't easily change lanes. We got stuck being forced onto the wrong direction of I5, taking a lovely 30 minute detour toward Portland in the dark. I will never come back to this venue - no matter if I'm living in Portland or even Ridgeway. It has a long way to go before it's ready to host a major concerts. YMMV. Make sure you pack lots of beverages and food for your long and painful car ride to and from the Amphitheater.

Yelp
This was our first time driving out to this venue. It was super easy to find. There was a ton of parking. We had really good seats close to the front. The chairs were kinda small but we didn't spend much time sitting in them anyway. We seen Chevelle and Three days grace. It was super loud. I love to sing to it was a blast . My friend got a hoodie. We opted for soda and energy drinks. We didn't try any of the food but there were a ton of options. We would come back again.

Yelp
This venue charged $28 for a cocktail...the most I have ever paid! And leaving the amphitheater is ridiculous. It is super dark and if you're in the third lane there is no way to get on 5S and no way to get over to the other two lanes! You have to go up 5N, exit, and then get on 5S after a long evening!
