"All of the Case Study cafes around the city offer Wi-Fi, but this outpost on Southwest 10th, in the heart of downtown Portland, has been a hangout for Portland State University students, remote workers, and writers wielding laptops for more than a decade. Grab a seat at the bar or a table by the window to nurse a bourbon caramel latte while typing away." - Nick Woo, Janey Wong
I've wanted to visit this coffee shop for a long time and I finally made it happen yesterday. The atmosphere was good. There were a lot of outlets and I also noticed there were purse hangers under the bar counter. Clearly, they care about their customers. I ordered cappuccino($4.75). The barista poured it very beautiful. It tasted great as well. The way they blend their coffee beans and how they brew must be just right. I found it a bit pricey for the amount you get, still I enjoyed my cappuccino. I didn't spot any flies so I was able to take my time to finish it.

Hot Jasmine Matcha is so good. The jasmine fragrance is perfect, just nice, not overpower, but I can smell it when I sipped the drink. It's lovely! The baristas are very friendly. The cafe is spacious. There is a pay parking structure across the street $2 per hr, so that's convenient.

Coffee is good. Tried a mocha, vanilla latte, drip coffee and chocolate croissant. Stopped here only because it was the first one we saw coming off the streetcar and was open. Would recommend.

Decent selection of pastries and plenty of space to work/study. My latte was alright, the coffee was pretty acidic so I added more simple syrup for balance. I really wanna give this place another chance (maybe a different branch) with a different drink next time because the pastries were great!

The coffee was good, but the pastries were great! Their pastries are SO good, especially the mascarpone/cheese danish. Plus they play really good music. My friend and I loved this spot!

Stopped in for coffee and a snack. I had the Honduras they had on drip as well as a Honduran espresso and the banana bread. The banana bread was excellent and the crunchy sugar on top was a nice touch. Very soft and moist. The espresso was smooth, but lack ed complexity. The drip was ok, but seemed a bit over extracted. Nice place with friendly staff.

Fantastic!! Really cute, clean and comfortable spot. Walked right in and ordered our coffee - and it took just 3 minutes! All syrups are made in house. We had a Mocha and an Assam tea. My mocha was perfectly steamed and the balance of coffee, sweetness and milk was excellent. Highly recommend.

Great coffee shop. A mixed berry scone was not sweet or baking soda forward as so many scones are. Americano was fruity. Atmosphere was chill at 8 am on a Saturday.
