13 Cheesesteaks to Try Around D.C. Right Now | Eater DC

"It’s nothing like a Philly original, but the jumbo lump crab cheesesteak at this seafood shack near Ft. Meade, Maryland, is worth the drive, if only for a hoagie dripping in Old Bay flavors. The crab meat here is well seasoned and comes from the Chesapeake Bay. Each crab cheesesteak is served in a soft sub roll with lettuce, tomato, and melted American cheese. During COVID-19, Casey’s offers contactless pickup." - Tim Ebner

Today is August 22 at 5:54 pm. It is a Friday and there wasn’t a wait at all They have a great crabcake here. The crabcake is 6 ounces and is full of crab meat not a bunch of filler and nonsense. It was seasoned to my liking. My wife enjoyed the fish and chips and the feature fish of the day was flounder. She very much enjoyed it. Serving sizes are generous. First time here and we will return. If you haven’t been here and you really enjoy seafood it is worth the money.

The sandwhich was so freaking good! I ordered the crab cheesesteak which I was surprised in the best way. There’s no beef, just all crab meat on a sub roll. Think of a lobster roll but sub warm crabmeat. I ordered with no cheese, LTO :) The potato salad was cool too.

Being from Baltimore City to now living 10 minutes from Casey’s Crab Company, I usually would have taken the drive to Baltimore for my usual crabs but they’re closed today and I had a big craving for crabs so I took a chance on this place. I usually buy large or extra large crabs but today I was on a budget and decided to go with medium female crabs. They were a good price for 1 dozen but I was scared they’d be small or light in weight. I got home and opened the bag to see they were not only a decent size medium female but they were also HEAVY! The corn was also good too. I am completely satisfied with my purchase today so much so, my boyfriend is on his way back to get another dozen for me! This is now my go to spot for crabs when I want to buy locally near our home vs going all the way back in to Baltimore for them. Great job! SN: The inside looks great, organized and has all the butter, seasoning and accessories needed for crabs at the desk when paying. The lady who took my order was also really nice and rung up my total with a smile. I wish I would have gotten her name.

Google
A friend recommended we try Casey’s since we didn’t want to travel to Baltimore for seafood. I was hesitant at first, but I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, it was a mistake—a big mistake—the crab cake and fish both had an unpleasant odor. The batter on the fish was unappealing, and the overall taste was disappointing. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for. Lesson learned, I wont go here again nor will I refer anyone. smh

Google
I love this place! Crabs were heavy. Staff was friendly and professional. Service was great! Garlic Butter great and it was close to home.

Jasmine Simmonds

Google
Only 5 onion rings for $9 are you kidding me?! Then they charge you an extra 3.2% for paying with a card. Shrimp was flavorless. It smells like the chum-bucket inside, probably why you only eat your food outside. Do better Casey!

Sean Denny

Google
If you like Maryland Crabs and Maryland Crab Cakes, they have the best of the best! They are the best-kept secret around, and I would highly recommend them; it was worth the drive! The staff was very friendly and outgoing, and they even delivered the Crabs to my car!

Ally Getch

Google
An impromptu stop on the final leg of a road trip took us to the best crab place we could have hoped for! Besides a fun atmosphere and ridiculously delicious and fresh food, the staff was amazing - super welcoming, personable, and incredibly generous!! Our experience left us definitely planning to come back again!!

Yelp
Casey's is a seafood joint. Limited seating but great food. I recommend the crabcake, steamed shrimp, and, for me, the biggest surprise, broiled scallops.

Yelp
Hey friends! Casey's Crab is a hidden gem for sure. I've always passed by this place & I'm happy that I finally checked it out! I was greeted pleasantly by the cashier. Things to note: 1.They do not accept Apple Pay. 2.They will ID you if you're paying with debit/credit. 3. They are carry-out only. 4.They ask for your vehicles color/make/model and bring your order to your car. As an introvert, I really enjoyed being able to wait in my car for my food lol. My order was quick, came out in less than 15 minutes. I ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy and a side of fries totaling at $17.99. Not bad for fresh seafood! The fries were hand cut and seasoned well. Unfortunately, like other reviewers stated, the fries were a little soggy. The shrimp was golden brown, juicy & crispy. The sandwich came topped with mayo, lettuce and tomato. Unfortunately the sandwich lacked flavor, Old Bay seasoning would've made the shrimp perfect! The sandwich was enjoyable overall, a 8/10. The inside is small and does not have indoor seating. However, there is limited outdoor seating. There website states that crab must be taken to-go and cannot be eaten at their outdoor seating areas. I definitely recommend Casey's Crab for your Mom & Pop seafood cravings ! I'll be back soon!

Yelp
Yeah, just go in and order the crab cheesesteak, with EVERYTHING!!! Grilled onions!!! TRUST ALL OF US - it's worth the 21$ (I got onion rings & tipped ‼ The young lady even liked my funky pants back to the hoagie--- it needs NOTHING! It's the right size for 1 lol or 2 if you get a soup or side IMO. So, do as I did. After leaving Total Wine or Target, Kohls, Hobby Lobby etc, lol continue driving for 3 miles and make a left into Casey's parking lot and get the crab cheesesteak. Come back again for the other goodies OR keep getting the crab cheesesteak - why ruin a great thing. I can't promise you'll get a fashion thumbs up tho :)
google avatar

Keneshia C.

Yelp
I was recommended by a co worker who had previously purchased a crab cheesesteak they stated who good it was since I've never heard of a crab cheesesteak i decided to give it a try and it was definitely not disappointing I'll be back
google avatar

Sylvester M.

Yelp
I loved the Crab Cheesesteak, I saw it a lot online and decided to give it a go. The positive is that it tastes amazing, you get all crab and no fillers. My only complaint, which is not really a big complaint. I wanted it a littler bigger for the price point. Overall I would get it again.
google avatar

Shella Y.

Yelp
Grab n go joint, I had the shrimp salad roll and it was AMAZING! Big prawns and it's perfect for a hot spring/summer day! I would have had a picture but unfortunately I devoured it in seconds, I just didn't have the time

Vee K.

Yelp
Amazing service. The crabs were also great and so was the crab dip. The staff was super friendly as well.

Yelp
Amazing place , great food, wonderful options and a friendly owner. When I'm in the mood for seafood this is my go to place.

Emma T.

Yelp
I have been going to Casey's for over 15 years! I love the energy the owner has and Dave gives back to the community. A great hidden gem for Laurel. Great food great people.

David M.

Yelp
Get the crab cheesesteak. Eat it in the car before it gets cold Thank me later. :-) Now I want another one...

Moriah C.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place to me, so i decided to take the drive. I was dying to the crab cheesesteak, and for $20, it did not disappoint. A soft hoagie roll Loaded with crab meat, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, American cheese and Mayo. It was delicious. I grabbed a cup of their garlic butter to dip, and it was a nice addition to it too!!! I wanted to try a couple things on their menu, so I got an order of deviled eggs as well. Not really my fav...aside from the garnish on top, the filling lacked flavor. Overall great experience though with great customer service!! I'll be back for sure, and if you're in the Laurel area, definitely give it a try!
google avatar

Yelp
The photos weren't loading, but the reviews looked generally positive so we decided to go here for lunch. There's no seating, so it's all to go, which was a definite surprise. I suppose we could've stayed for an outdoor picnic, but in the rain it wasn't an appealing idea. The soup of the day wasn't ready by 1pm which was weird since they'd drawn it on the chalk menu. Overall the food was delicious though, and if you go in knowing it'll be to go, (and assuming they have it available) it's yummy

Lai D.

Yelp
Casey's always has fresh seafood, large crabs, and excellent customer service. I love Casey's and highly recommend them.
google avatar

Marisa E.

Yelp
The lady at the cashier was sweet and gave us some recommendations since it was our first time. We decided to go with the male blue crabs which was more than enough for 2 people their garlic butter ($2) was perfect with the crabs. I do believe you have to take the crabs to-go though. Otherwise there's a little row of seats outside to "dine in". I wish we could've eaten in but still great! Can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu
google avatar

Whitley D.

Yelp
When in the neighborhood and you get on Yelp and they point you one way, normally the app is on point...well kudos for this recommendation!!! When you first walk up you can smell the seafood! Then open the doors and there are signa everywhere stating their specials. They have a menu as well, but I didn't see all the specials on there. I ordered the crab cheesesteak ($21 and tax) and goodness gracious was it delicious!! The crab with the standard toppings on a cheesesteak was PERFECT!! Making me want it again just typing my review! I was thinking about the lobster melt but not a big fan of English muffins so I passed but maybe next time I will ask if it can go on another piece of bread. Ohhh they also had a 50 XL bag of shrimp for $16.99...only kicker is they do need to be cleaned and deshelled. Still not too bad of a price. It's Once you order they have an area outside along the patio that you can sit at or you can go back to your car and they will bring it out to you. They do not have an area for you to sit in and dine. All in all in I will be back and try other things on their menu!! Definitely recommend stopping in if you enjoy seafood!

Damesha E.

Yelp
A little pricey but good food, especially the crab sub. I've eaten here pretty often.
google avatar

Moni T.

Yelp
I had a taste for a shrimp po'boy today, and since Jody's is closed for now, I decided to come here as they have good reviews. They are still following COVID restrictions, there is no indoor seating. A few spots on the patio, but they bring your food out to your car or call you when the food is ready to be picked up. I ordered a shrimp po'boy with onion rings. The food was good. Nothing to call home about. The staff was polite. I'll come back to try other items. Especially the oysters.

Kiera M.

Yelp
Trash... I was extremely disappointed the potato salad was HORRIBLE the crab cake sandwich was tasteless and the po boy was the worst I ever had! At this point I only trust them with the crabs since you can't mess them up! Oh and the fries were soggy and nasty too smh! I lo-key want my $60 bucks back but imma let them slide this time cuz I'm not going back!
google avatar

Lucky S.

Yelp
The food was horrible and too expensive. YOU DO NOT get what you pay for. And the customer service needs improvement. Please don't waste your time and money. We were wondering why we were the only customers. In addition, we called it in 25 min and still had to wait.
google avatar

Sydni R.

Yelp
I usually pass by this place a few times during the month and finally decided to give them a try. We ordered the crab cheesesteak, one of the dinners (2 seafood and two sides), and deviled eggs. The cheesesteak was delicious and worth the hype and reviews (I'd recommend). However, the deviled eggs were meh. They were oily and bland (how do you mess up deviled eggs??). The dinner was ok too. I ordered fried oysters and shrimp and they were nothing special, I did enjoy that the shrimp were large prawns. For my side I got the corn nuggets and potato salad, but were good.
google avatar

daniel g.

Yelp
Food was good ! The service was amazing ! And the wait time wasn't too bad for the amount of people they had to attend.

Yelp
Pros: Seafood selection, covid measures, service Cons: Pricey (but it's seafood), not to-go friendly Summary: If you're looking for seafood, I strongly recommend checking this place out. From crab to other seafood choices, they seem to know what they're doing. Covid measures being taken, from outdoor dining to delivery to your car. Friendly service and good food! I was in the area for business, looking for a place to grab a sandwich. With no shortage of places to choose from I almost decided to grab a deli sandwich when I stumbled across a review mentioning a crab meat cheesesteak sandwich. I was intrigued. Figuring I was in Maryland, I couldn't turn down an opportunity for crab and I love cheesesteak sandwiches, sounds like a match made in heaven! The place is slightly off the beaten path, but a good drive and location. They had pots cooking crab out front. Taking orders and folks sitting outside, they seem to be taking covid measures seriously. Service was very friendly. I asked for a recommendation before ordering, and sure enough the crab cheesesteak and crab sandwich were recommended. I took the bait... *Ba dum tss* Amazing! Like a crab sandwich on steroids! OK, a little overkill, but really good. I will say the cheese threw me off a bit, but still really good. Only complaint, you're going to pay for crab, but I always feel like they're overly stingy with the meat. Also, if taken to-go, eat as quickly a you can to prevent it from getting soggy. Overall, I don't think you'll be disappointed from the selection or items. I agree with other reviews that you should stick to what they're known for, which is seafood. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Yelp
I've had Casey's many times. However my last 2 times getting crabs were THE WORST. Idk what happens but my last time was the last time I will ever get crabs from here. Last year me and my daughter got crabs and we both got sick as a dog. We literally had to call out sick from work. This past weekend I got the regular males. Anyone that eat crabs know that when they smell like ammonia....they're bad! I ate a couple just to make sure I wasn't trippin. Nope they didn't taste fresh and they smelled bad. I referred so many people to this place. This did not use to be the case. Idk if someone new is working there or what but there will not be a 3rd time for me. Also...Ig you go...crack open a couple crabs and smell them before you leave.
google avatar

Brittani W.

Yelp
I came to Maryland from out of town and was craving some seafood. Look at the reviews and this place popped up. The service was bad! Walked in, and it felt like I was irritating the young worker that was there. Seafood overpriced for frozen crab legs. All my items weren't in my bag. Overall I won't be back. Wish it was more of a family oriented environment.
google avatar

Pia A.

Yelp
When in Maryland, Casey's is the ONLY place to go for fresh, steamed crabs! Dave goes above and beyond for his customers, all the ladies at this place are also friendly and pleasant. My best friend lives in Laurel, MD and this is the only place she gets crabs when I come visit...and she knows I love me some Maryland crabs! When I decided to bring some crabs home to Los Angeles, Dave instructed me on how to pack them safely...talk about 5 star customer service! Their hot meals are excellent as well: soups, lobster melt, calamari, sweet corn nuggets!!! So gooood!!! Can't wait to come back to this place when we come visit again! Hands down the BEST!
google avatar

Ann R.

Yelp
Came here when I was craving some seafood and this place did not disappoint. Prices are based on market prices so it can be a little expensive, but I would say worth it. They do not skimp out on the crab, there is barely any other fillings in the crab cake. My partner got the sandwich with all the fixings and I would say I liked his better (I believe it was the crabmeat cheesesteak), it just had a bit more of flavor. I also loved the store itself, selling sauces and other tidbits. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Elisa M.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended and I've been at parties where they got the crabs from here. I was feeling seafood so decided to stop in and grab something to eat. Sadly, I feel like I caught them on a very off day. There were four of us, I ordered the the platter with fried shrimp (I was told it was the bomb!) with coleslaw and corn fritters. I also ordered deviled eggs and calamari. I wanted to order crab however since we were eating there, they do not allow you to eat crab or crab legs on their patio. Overall between the four of us we ordered more than $100 worth of food including 3 sodas and one bottle of water. Where shall I begin? I had high expectations for this fried shrimp however what I got was disappointing. The size of the shrimp was great but the shrimp was over cooked and anyone who has eaten over cooked shrimp knows it's like eating a rubber bullet. Midway, I gave up and focused on the sides. So I love corn nuggets and I was torn between them and the hush puppies. Once again I was told to go with the corn nuggets, but I've had better from a fried chicken joint back home. These didn't have a lock of flavor and neither did the coleslaw. Thankfully the utensils came with salt and pepper because it so needed it. The deviled eggs were lackluster. The lady taking the order mentioned that they were topped with old bay, but besides that it was nothing more than mustard, egg and mayo. The calamari are some of the biggest rings I've seen, but bigger doesn't always mean better. The calamari, like the shrimp were rubbery, kinda on the fishy side and after 2-3 rings I stopped trying to make myself enjoy them. Overall this visit was a BUST! I had planned on going back in and ordering some crab legs to go but I just couldn't rush another $30 (for one pound of crab legs) just to get home and be disappointed. Sadly I wish I hadn't asked for seafood cause this totally missed the spot.

Yelp
The food at Casey's crab is delicious. I highly recommend the crab cakes. I also love the jumbo fried shrimp as well. Don't expect a big fancy restaurant. It's a total shack but well worth the visit. Thanks Debby
google avatar

Farhat K.

Yelp
After getting my covid vaccine shot at the nearby Walgreens, I wanted to celebrate with a tasty meal and decided to check out this fine establishment. I ordered a crab cake, fries, and hush-puppies, and my food was ready within 15 mins of me getting there. The crab cake was really tasty and the portion was great. It was cooked perfectly and had plenty of crab meat for me to enjoy with the tartar sauce. Fries were also solid. I wish it came with a few more hush puppies cause they were awesome. Really filling meal at $19. Glad I stopped by and got some food.

Lindsay R.

Yelp
Really well seasoned crabs, the seasoning has a little sweetness to it but it's not overwhelming. I would definitely buy again
google avatar

Vishal P.

Yelp
Went here because I was craving some seafood and was not disappointed! During COVID, they changed to only takeout so plan accordingly. I ordered a lobster melt and crab cheesesteak. The lobster melt was delicious and full of lobster. The crab cheesesteak was also great and I would describe it as a crabcake in a sub. They gave surprisingly large portions of meat in both!
google avatar

Ericka G.

Yelp
This restaurant is Carryout only. They will bring your order to your car. I ordered the hot crab dip, crabcake sub, & sweet corn nuggets. It was all just ok. I think my lackluster impression is due to the fact that everything is backfiring. No lump crab in sight but you are charged as if you are getting lump crab. If backfin is your speed, come here. But if you have higher level expectations... keep looking.
google avatar

Scott D.

Yelp
Gross. How has this place survived??? The absolute worst Fish and Chips I have ever tasted, in my life, period. The coating was like rubber, and the fish sure isn't COD. The crab cake sandwich is beyond par and lacks flavor. I go here once every three or so years hoping that has gotten better. I can't imagine they will be around in 2024. Take it from me...keep driving.
google avatar

Jannet C.

Yelp
This is a cute seafood market, that has a bar bench and a picnic table where you can enjoy your food outside, or they bring it out to your car. I got a lobster melt and a side salad. Both were flavorful, but my lobster in the melt was pretty dry and over cooked. I see they have other seafood sandwiches and baskets, but their specialty is steamed while crabs. If you like steam crabs, they have all sizes. The staff there are very nice and helpful.
google avatar

Sudon M.

Yelp
You know, it's rather annoying to see 2 star reviews for Casey's. If you read them, you'll see that these people ordered the second tier items from the menu and then reviewed them. Listen folks, if I go to Lawry's Prime Rib and order the linguini, it's probably gonna get two stars. When you go to Casey's, ask them what you should order. They'll tell you - the crab cheesesteak. That's what you get at Casey's, and it ain't like any other. Jumpin' Josephine! Yes, I was a tad annoyed that Crappy Covid took indoor dining away and they had to bring my Crab Cheesesteak out to my car in the parking lot, but it only took maybe 5 or 7 minutes and there she was. I folded back the foil and paper and to my delight I saw fresh lettuce, tomato and big chunks of fresh crab with melted cheese in a sweet roll. My eyes said "yes please" and when I took that first bite!?! Good night. It was a beautiful thing. My son asked to share. I gave him half. His inheritance is fulfilled. Go here, have the crab cheesesteak. Don't bother looking at the rest.
google avatar

Maggie R.

Yelp
It's alright. I've had better seafood. We had the lobster melt and the crab cheesesteak and a large French fry. They don't have indoor seating, just some shaded tables outside but there's two trash cans near the property that smell really bad when the wind blows. If you are a big seafood lover it may be worth a try here but I'll likely get my seafood fixings elsewhere.
google avatar

Kenya G.

Yelp
When we first moved here this was one of my favorite places to go for seafood but the past few times have been more than disappointing. Tonight we ordered the fish and chips and the soft shell crab sub...I was highly disappointed with the soft shell crab preparation and the fish and chips were not seasoned and extremely greasy...I never had a breading like that for fish and chips. It wasn't very crispy which took away from it. Overall, I am sadden to say this will probably be the last time we come here. The quality doesn't substantiate the price and it just has gotten worse each time we order.
google avatar

Victor R.

Yelp
This place is great for crabs. Prices aren't too bad for the size and meat you get. Staff is polite.
google avatar

Leslie a.

Yelp
Tasty eat outside place for shrimp, crab dip, and crabs. The shrimp was spiced to perfection. Asked for bread for the dip. Ate it all.
google avatar

Doug L.

Yelp
The food is not the same as when I first left my review. I have moved to the area since that review and have been here a few more times. The crab dip tasted loaded with mayonnaise, the fish and chips have some odd type of breading, unseasoned fish, and was oily. None of the food I have had the past few times has been very good over all.
google avatar

Ariana E.

Yelp
This meal was really great! I had the lobster melt and it was delicious from the look to the taste. Its really that simple a review. They dont have any in-room dining so no customer service or negative review from me.
google avatar

Gabriella C.

Yelp
This place has some great seafood dishes. If you're in a hurry and want something good and fast I would run, not walk, to this place. We ordered the lobster melt and the crab sandwich. Both were really good. In my opinion the lobster melt was the best thing ever! Enjoy!
google avatar

Sylvia A.

Yelp
Ok so they get 5 stars from me for the crabmeat cheesesteak. They have limited amount of seating available indoors. I called my order in and l was not disappointed with my sub. The sub came with cheese mayo. Fried onions, lettuce and tomatoes. Just as if you were eating a steak sub minus the steak. 100% crabmeat with no fillers whatsoever. I can see myself getting addicted to this sandwich. 5 stars for the taste and amount of crab meat given. Definitely will be returning.

Chelsey H.

Yelp
$20 for this? So disappointing. I looked up this place and saw the Lobster Melt and immediately had to have it. Based on other reviews, it looked like a good serving of lobster. Only to my disappointment, my serving was so small. It tasted ok. But definitely not worth the price. I also got the hot crab dip. It was all dip, no crab. Paid $34 for both. Not worth it.
google avatar

Denise A.

Yelp
Take out spot with some amazing food, from crabcake to crabmeat cheesesteak! We had calamari, fries, cheesesteak! Everything was delicious
google avatar

Floyd W.

Yelp
Was in the mood for Seafood and Casey's Crab came up in my feed. I had been hearing good things about some items on their menu, in particular the crabmeat cheesesteak. I decided to try it despite the hefty price. Boy am I glad I went out on that limb. The flavor was great, the roll was fresh and I could not have been more satisfied. I was disappointed that the calamari was in rings as opposed to the more au naturale state. It had the feel of a mom and pop establishment, maybe it was because it was close to closing time but the young people weren't very friendly. However, there was a more mature woman who was more engaging and informative so service is all good. I did not take any pics because I slammed it hungrily and quickly I might add. Definitely a home run!!!
google avatar

Nathan M.

Yelp
I'm reviewing again, because listen, this place is fantastic. I just moved back to the area, had lunch from Casey's the other day, and man I've missed it. My only issue with the restaurant, aside from the price point (high for fast casual, but appropriate for the food quality) is the overt and LOUD religious symbology. I would normally absolutely never visit a place that was this loudly evangelical, but goddamn, the food is so good, it's worth it. (Just say a quick "hail Satan" on your way out
google avatar

Christine Y.

Yelp
On our way back back to Odenton from Laurel, we found this hidden gem in the middle of a freeway for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised to have found another great pick up place nearby. We ordered the crab cheese melt and fish (flounder) and chips. The crab melt was delicious and creamy. They do not skimp out on the crab- definitely worth the price. The fish and chips were good, but nothing amazing. It was fried well and the fish tasted fresh. Their tartare sauce was good- complimenting the fish. Their house made fries could have been a little crispier, but were seasoned well with a hint of old bay. They seem to have weekly deals for steamed seafood. Definitely would recommend to check out if in the area!
google avatar

Erika B.

Yelp
Good decent size crabs, a bit pricier than some other locations but they tossed in a few extra so I couldnt be mad at that! They cook or sell live, with or without seasoning, and sell paper, mallets (not worth the money though) and other items to make your seafood feast a feast. They also bring it to your car for you.

Yelp
Stop and go traffic for over three hours the day after Christmas for a short mini vacation to visit family = short tempers and a stern, "Just look though Yelp and pick something. I don't care where we go," to the wife as I complain again about this crappy traffic as we hit the road after a rather decent meal at Casey's Crab. After my wife recommended Casey's Crab because it had 4 stars and couple hundred reviews, at first I was surprised that she even picked a seafood place. But, we were in Maryland, and Casey's it was also because of you Yelpers. Thanks, again, Yelpers for a good choice. I was a little worried at first because the converted gas station to restaurant was empty. We came in and it's a tiny 15-seater place with a decent sized kitchen. The menu is above the main counter but they do have some tri-fold menus to look at. Has your typical fried appetizers and mains, but I think the crabs are the way to go here. I had the crab cheesesteak. It's really a lobster roll with crab instead and adds mayo, lettuce, fried onions, and American cheese. Lots of crab filled the roll and just great. The side 12oz Maryland Crab Vegetable soup also was filled with lots of good things and tasty. Not enough spicy in it for me. Wife had fried flounder and fries. Breading was a little thick but did have a nice spiciness and did not fall apart. The French Fries, although tasty, were soggy. Cole slaw was meh. Kids had a salmon burger which son liked, and a crab cake with a side of Hush Puppies for the daughter. I had to steal a couple of those as they were awesome. The crab cake was about 4oz and seemed small but was eaten quickly and given the thumbs up. Added four bottle waters and we ended up paying $100 including tax and tip. For the Yelper who was told about the no bathroom, I asked and was told where it was. It was behind the counter through an office. The bathroom had a kitty litter pan in there, but also a full shower. My family and I were allowed to use it without any issues. Staff was very nice and friendly. Food came out quick and you can see into the kitchen which looked clean. When I inquired about the wall of Polaroids, I was told if you purchase a dozen Jumbo crabs you get your photo on the wall. For $140, better be worth it! Glad we came to Casey's Crab! Now I'm back to complaining about the traffic.
