Casey's On Central

Fun place to visit, drinks are affordable and very strong. They had live music. Not great for a first date, you won't hear a word if you speak, because it is a small space and music feels super loud.

Casey's is a staple in downtown Orlando's dive bar culture. They have live music, cheap and strong drinks, a friendly staff, and the iconic free popcorn!

Great atmosphere. Went on Saturday they had live music that was fun and engaging. They do great pours on their drinks even though the mixed drinks didn't taste great. They were good for what it was. Bathrooms were clean and they had free popcorn.

A good Irish bar in Orlando Florida and the shots they pour would blow the head off an elephant. One thing they are not shy of is pouring a shot and very reasonable priced for alcohol. Live music every night and free popcorn is your feeling a bit peckish Loved this bar and would defo be back

I spent a wonderful time here! The waitress is very nice and advised me wisely on the beers that I should drink: on the three tested: all were delicious! Add to this pizza on the house and a great ambiance, then you get the place to be in Orlando ;)

I only stayed for a couple of drinks, and then I had to leave, but it seemed like it was a cool spot. I plan on going back, and when I do I will update this dive bar type spot.

Ericka, as her name in ancient origins means, is the real ruler of the bar. Her amazing vibes serving customers reminds of my days when I was a bartender. Great place. Great vibes. Great drinks.

Had 2 beers (standing), 14 Bucks + 2 tip. Left the bar, Sms from the bank = 22 dollars bill @ Caseys ??????…. What is happening downtown Orlando? And, what is wrong with the servers….. they will keep servers, from pub to pub for their entire life… scamming people..

Got a Long Island that tasted like pee water with pulp. Listened to the bartenders talk about how they lie to people and give people crap liquor instead of brand names. Especially if there's an event. This place has gone to trash.

If you're looking for a decent place to grab a drink, then this might be a good spot for you. This place is a decent dive bar. They have live music nightly, which is pretty entertaining. The service is average at best. We're seated at a table across from the bar. If you park yourself at the actual bar, you might have better luck. There's a popcorn machine, so I guess you can grab some, but I'm not sure. Aside from security at the door, no one greeted us or showed us a menu. We ordered Green Tea Shots since we didn't know if there was a specific drink menu or not. #ImNotAFoodie #ImJustAGirlWhoLovesFood #YelpEliteSquad

Always love coming to Casey's. Jodi and Brandon are great bartenders and are always welcoming. Their moonshine is fantastic and live music with free popcorn is a plus.

This is a must-stop kind of place if you're going downtown Orlando - super fun, casual vibe. Popcorn machine on deck. Twisted Tea on draft?! You don't see that everywhere! Today's special is $5 moonshine shots, but it's always changing and there always SOMETHING on special. The bartenders are always so cool, no matter who you get. This is really popular among the locals and definitely worth your time. Also, FYI have live music often on the weekends if you're into that too!

Was visiting my family in Orlando. My aunt and I wanted to go out for the night. She recommended Casey's where her and my uncle frequently go. We were able to sit on a high top table outside and enjoy the night and people watch. I will drinks for me and great taste it great we also enjoyed the free popcorn from the popcorn machine inside the bar later on that night, we got hotdogs from across the street. Lol. Great Saturday night downtown!

I can always count on Casey's for a strong drink. No fuss, but I'm always happy here. They also have awesome live music and the best popcorn. Seriously I love popcorn and I've had tried it all over town. Some places have stale popcorn or don't always make it. But Casey's is always fresh and they have seasonings. For their 20 yr anniversary, they gave away free shirts and prizes. And poured the strong cheap drinks they are known for. You can tell that they really love the community that they serve.

I happened here because the place we were going to was closed so we walked in here. Divey but great vibe! Bartenders friendly. Drinks definitely generous on pour! Eat some tasty popcorn!! They have flavored seasoning for the popcorn... ( my fave was white cheddar cheese!) If beers and basic drinks is what you want then this is it. No craft cocktails really. This is your neighborhood friendly bar.

Casey's is the best damn bar in Orlando. Walking down Central you can't help but be drawn in by the live music performed by talented local artists. Covers of every song you want to belt out and shake your hips to. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the place fills up with locals and visitors who know of its good vibes. The bouncer at the door is cool as hell and always tells me to get on in there because he knows I belong. Once you step in you can't help but dart your gaze across the ceiling and walls. I've been to the Louvre and Prada and after a few of their heavy poured drinks, they stand no chance to this decor. The stage is quick to be surrounded by the next up and coming Shakiras and Beyoncé's who are feeling the juice and the music in their soul. The drinks don't stop pouring and next thing you know it you're in a remix mash up of Toby Keith's "I love this bar" and Garth Brooks hit "Friends in Low Places". The 5 star bar staff keep your thirst quenched and when that's not enough there free popcorn with a variety of flavors to top it. I highly recommend dumping every flavor on your tray of popcorn and fisting it in your mouth while simultaneously sipping a gin and soda, with a lime because we aren't animals. If you can't pick someone up from the 2 am crowd... no worries! Come the next night and your chances will still be high. If it's your birthday or you're newly divorced I highly recommend coming here and taking a body shot off of the beautiful mullet bartender Brandon. He's a real panty wetter. Casey's is the best and if you don't like it, you might want to go do a little soul searching Eat Pray Love style and then come back and try it again.

Came here on vacation with a group of 10, we all spent around $50 a person except myself, because a bartender by the name DJ decided it would be okay to berate me, a 4'11 female, for leaning over the bar to order. I believe in tipping appropriately for the service you receive, and I'm not going to tip someone an exorbitant amount for berating me over a $4 drink. he continued to ridicule and mock me, saying verbatim to my friends "You guys are good, she's the problem" after my tip wasnt "satisfactory". he also told the rest of the group that "he shouldn't even be serving us because we are not tipping him enough". If DJ wants good tips, maybe he should learn how to be a pleasant human being. I brought this up to the supervisor on shift, an Asian female, and he ran towards me in order to argue with my complaint and claim that I was lying, even though my group and several patrons were also complaining about him specifically. it is truly a shame that we received such awful service from that man, because it truly is a great bar and has a great atmospher. I would heavily consider DJ get sensitivity training and maybe polish his people skills in order to not drive further patrons away. Steer clear from Casey's on Central.

Walking around, looking for a good place to hang out for the night, we hear some good music coming from Casey's so we decided to check it out. Small bar, laid back, very casual, and a good list of beers and moonshine titled "Crafts, Drafts and Shines" on the blackboard, plus full bar. We sat at the bar and Todd, out bartender, immediately took our order. 4 strong, filled to the top drinks for about $23 is a good deal. I looked at the moonshine menu and after talking to our bartender, decided on the Strawberry one. He takes out this mason jar and pours generously into a short glass. Taste is sweet, I can definitely taste strawberry, and the alcohol... I do not recommend having more than one of these, I think this would creep up and, although it might contribute to a fun night, I don't know what the morning would feel like. So, trying to avoid that I took just that one and stuck to my other drink. The bar is good for meeting people, music is not so loud that you can't talk, plus, like I said, the environment is so casual, and laid back, it just invites you make new friends. There's also some room for dancing. If I lived in the area I would see myself coming here often.

I've never had as many wonderful, romantic, and festive evenings as I have at Casey's. Yesterday on Thanksgiving when I had to think what I was thankful for and after My Family, my cat, Ric Flair, the only thing I could think of otherwise was Orlando's very own cupid Aka Orlando's Sexiest Bartender Mullet Brandon. He has given me investment advice, relationship advice, fashion, and introduced me to tons of Hot Babes. Casey's has been my favorite bar since I was 17 and with quality staff like Sarah, Jenn, and Brandon that will never ever change!!! #Caseys4life

Casey's is a grungy, dark hole in the wall that's a staple of downtown. They're most famously known for their heavy pours, which results in one STRONG drink. It's a great place to get your night started. If you're not much of a liquor drinker and prefer beer like myself, they've got some craft beers on top that rotate, as well as your usual domestic suspects. Hungry? There's a free, self-serve popcorn machine for your growling stomach. There's even some flavored salts next to it to pick from. Want some popcorn that tastes like cheese? No problem, they've got you covered. What about some ranch? You're covered there too. The only downside to this bar, in my opinion, is that they allow smoking inside. Otherwise, a fun spot!

We stopped in here on St. Patrick's Day for our 2nd stop on our pub crawl. We didn't make it any further! Fun atmosphere, great service, live music, FREE popcorn to munch on and the bathrooms were so CLEAN! Plus, lots of seating for a downtown bar and lots of glass for people watching. I haven't been to this bar in years, I think it was even so long that it was another name before. We will definitely Uber it downtown for more visits to Casey's in the future.

I love love love this bar. brandon behind the bar is such a cool fun guy and I adore Sharon. They are so fun and personable with such a great attitude. Caseys is a bar with a fun atmosphere, great cheap drinks, an awesome staff, and a perfect location. To deal with crazy drunks and insane people each night downtown is hard so the fact that they continue to be fun and outgoing is really awesome. Especially during a pandemic. I appreciate all of the bartenders and servers at Caseys and everywhere for that matter who have to wear masks daily and deal unappreciative guests that stroll in drunk and refuse to be respectful. If you're visiting from anywhere and want a bar that has an awesome local vibe with amazing local musicians then check out Caseys. And their popcorn is great too.

I've come into Casey's a few times because I enjoy the live music they have at night. But it's not the nicest place to go as far as their employees go. I went a couple days ago with a friend and she tripped over a chair because there was a ton of people, it was in the middle of the floor and they instantly came over telling me and my friend that we had to leave. Mind you she was not drinking anymore, was drinking water, and was not causing a scene. She simply tripped over a chair and went back to sit down and instead of asking if she was okay instantly kicked us out. The guy stood over us literally until we left. I have never seen this before and was a little shocked and disappointed. I get that when people work in a bar they deal with a lot of nonsense and see a lot of things but we were fine and I feel like that was not the correct way to handle a situation. Bartenders generally seem annoyed with anyone in there and like they don't want to be there. You choose to work downtown and if you are gonna look like you hate your job, maybe it's not the right place for you. No one wants bartenders/servers who constantly seem annoyed.

Overall negative experience. The employees at this establishment treated Women unequally than they did man. I did not appreciate my experience. The men Who works there also kept taking pictures and videos of me while I was trying to make purchases. It was very inappropriate and uncomfortable for me.

Great little dive. I always drive past this spot on my adventures downtown. Groovy little joint. The band was playing Your Body's Calling with a folksy twang...dope! I was cracking up and really enjoying the groove at the same time. They pour strong drinks...it's cheap...what else needs to be said. Come enjoy and have a good time.

Best dive bar downtown, live music every night. Stupidly strong drinks. Bathroom situation is quite good, there's a men's room and a women's room. They're individual stalls so there's usually a line, but it's well worth the wait. They usually have a poster up advertising events and stuff which is nice reading while relieving.

Casey's on Central is known around town as the bar that makes the strongest drinks downtown. While this alone is good enough appeal for me, Casey's also provides good service, even in their busiest times, and a great mix of friendly people just wanting to have a good time. The interior is quite small and even more noticeable on the weekends, and they also provide a good amount of outdoor seating. Another plus is that they provide FREE popcorn to snack on to soak up a little bit of that alcohol (or satisfy the hunger of your inner drunk). I usually stop at Casey's before heading to another bar, it is a great place to get a start to your night.

Oddly enough, my first impression of the corner bar, Casey's on Central, was of the restroom area. Before I was able to survey the bar and atmosphere, I had to make my way to the ladies room. It was there that I saw a gigantic advertisement for the Broadway show The Lion King. It has come and gone and thus seemed to be fair game for doodlers and tipsy patrons with a pen. Other areas of the bar also had theater posters and cool pictures. It's not an incredibly large space so it seemed crammed with people on a Saturday around 11pm. A talented man was playing the guitar on a small stage and was, in my opinion, doing a great job. They offer live music a few nights a week and sometimes post their calendar online. The bartenders were doing a decent job from what I could tell keeping up with requests despite people milling about inside and outside. They do have a few tables out there when the weather is nice. And it's a great location since not only is it on a corner, but it's near other great bars and eateries. So you could head to Central for the night, grab dinner, drinks and not be forced to stay in just one spot. Overall it's pretty open and commands a good crowd. It's not the type of place where you could sit and have meaningful conversations with someone due to the noise but if you're out to have an entertaining evening, then I believe they could provide it.

They threw my friends out of the bar for miding their own business and they had another bother them but they did not throw out the other customer.

A downtown Orlando institution. It's certainly cleaner and more modern since Casey left - gone is the never-ending bathroom graffiti, and the single 13-inch TV. The tables have a slightly less amount of stick. But, the drinks are still strong, they still have live music as often as possible, and it's on one of the liveliest corners in all of downtown Orlando. There's no brunch, or early hours - just a classic dive bar. A good place to start the night, or finish it off. They have a decent beer selection - but really, you should be here for a cocktail. A standard drink is essentially a double (so don't order doubles). If you're a regular, you'll probably get your drink in a pint glass. Despite how overwhelmingly busy it can get, the service is really good. Sit outside or inside, and you will have a waitress. The corner table by the entrance on Central gives you a panoramic of all the coming's of going's of most anyone out and about. The bartenders are pros, so a little patience with some eye contact and they'll get to you - I promise. Decent live music - usually an indie vibe.

Casey's is my favorite local dive. Great strong drinks, good prices and that weird mullet haired bartender dude BRANDON is hilarious! He's always making jokes and making everyone feel welcome. No cover live music every night. This is not the bar for you if you have a stick up your butt.

Because where else are you going to go to get loaded? Casey's is an Orlando tradition. You can't walk by this place without walking in, grabbing some popcorn, and enjoying a drink poured by bartenders with lead hands. If you want something strong, this is your place. That being said, it's a nice little dive with live music and always sports on tv. I'd definitely come back here because, let's face it, I know the drill...

Don't ask but I ended up here on a Tuesday night. Great service, friendly staff, and good live music. Careful what you ask for when it comes to drinks because they're mixed strong. I got a red bull and vodka and boy I felt good. I ordered only one. They got a good selection of beers on tap. Of course if you visit, you'll have to grab the popcorn. There's several flavored powder to choose from and my favorite is the bacon cheddar. Fun place to check out before you go bar hopping for the rest of the night.

Man I love this place. I mean, for dive bars, this one is pretty much the epitome of it. Smokey, dank, not much bling except for the random stuff on the walls that the patrons bring in. And let's not forget the bathroom graffiti. There are some great artists out there that leave their mark on the walls from every corner of the artistic spectrum. Especially the avant-garde shock artists. There seems to be a lot of that. I don't even think the men's bathroom has a toilet seat. (Probably stolen) If my night starts out here, it's most likely going to get pretty epic. Maybe that's because the bartenders are pretty damn awesome and heavy handed with a bottle. This place is cheap, friendly, and homey. That's what a dive bar should be. A place you can come in dressed for the club, or dressed for bed, and no-one cares and is just as friendly. Thankfully, the typical Orange Ave Jackassery stays out of this place, I've never seen a fight, except on who gets to buy the next round of shots. And frankly, that's a fight I can live with. I can honestly say this place contributes to me screwing up my weekly gym progress, thanks to the free movie popcorn and well poured drinks. Still one of the better long islands I've ever had was from here, and anything else I've had is just as good. The small one or two man bands that come and entertain you are all pretty good, I've yet to have one that makes me want to stuff popcorn in my ears. If you want to kick off the night, or end it in a blaze of glory, Casey's is a good place for it.

Been going to this place for a little while. They serve drinks and have music shows at night. The music shows are great and the drinks too. Thursday nights are known as Martini Thursdays: drink 12 martinis and the 13th one is free. Shirt swap Sundays are a blast. This is when the patrons exchange shirts with each other in a gesture of friendship and mutual admiration.

Lots of great reviews here, but... I don't know, I'm just not a fan. Maybe I'm over the types of places that serve cheap, off-brand liquor in those translucent plastic dixie cups. Where every surface, from the bar to the tables to the floor, is always sticky. Where the entire place always smells like that disgusting industrial cleaner that the bars on Church St. use to wash out all of the herpes and barf. You know the stuff -- and if you don't, walk down the strip on Church St one day. The bars don't even have to be open, you can smell it from fifty paces. Anyway, it smells like that in Casey's. They're dog friendly, which is good, but I would never bring my dog there.

Let's just start with I will never come back to this place again. We've been coming to this bar for the last four to five years every couple months or so and never experienced treatment like this. We were not intoxicated, just gotten to the downtown area, and just wanted them to refund a drink because the drink was made incorrectly. They refused to do it while being rude and upset that we were asking for a refund back. Maybe it's because they were busy, maybe they were upset that they had to work on Christmas Eve, not sure what the real reason was. The patron next to us started getting into our whole conversation and because I guess I'm louder than him I was thrown out of the bar. Physically picked up and thrown out of the bar. Same with my daughter, who is 5'2". She was picked up the same way and thrown out of the bar by the bartender who obviously was discriminating between me and her and the customer that was sitting right next to us. She now has bruises all over her because of this. Shame on you. I've never been treated like this at any bar, or club, or any establishment for that matter. You could've simply asked me to leave. Not picked me up and thrown me out. And I'm not sure if that's how your staff is trained, but to physically handle a woman like that, it is ridiculous. Simply asking me to leave would've worked, believe me. But to throw me out and physically hurt me and my daughter like this, leaving marks on mine and her body, it is unacceptable. But at least I know where you stand and how you treat your customers. We will never come back here, will never recommend this establishment and everybody will definitely know about this.

Ah Casey's...the bar where you don't have to tell them to pour you a stiff one. I love this place! The crowd is a mix of professionals, lumberjacks, college kids, and barflys...but it is consistent. I think people who are unfriendly anywhere else step into Casey's and become "people" people. I've always had so much fun here...free peanuts, live music, and a happy hour spread on Fridays. Check it out!

Wow, best place i've been to in Orlando. Great friendly bartenders. Great specials and awesome bands. Respect Security! This place is legit chill. Come to Casey's be respectful! Awesome selection on drinks. Espescially on a monday night!

Open Bar, excuse moi? Yep, that's right, Casey's just had their 11th Anniversary last night and had open bar from 5pm -7pm for the Orlando community to come in and celebrate Casey's success. If you think about it, for a bar to be open in Downtown Orlando for 11 years, that is quite impressive. Before they were there, many businesses came in and out of that location and many people knew it to be cursed. But Casey's has BEAT THAT CURSE! Casey's is a very relaxed chill bar to go to during the week but very crowded on the weekend. My fav time to go to Casey's is during the week when it is not empty but a good amount of people. Typically Wed are good night's to get a medium sized crowd. The bar is pretty small, and sometimes I wish it could be bigger, but bartenders are extremely nice. Drinks are strong! If you get a chance to go by, head there during the week and grab a table outside. With the weather like it is now in the 70s it is comfortable to sit outside of Casey's!

What a fun bar! Went bar hopping on a Monday night. The crowd is mature, fun, and it's off the beaten path. Drink prices are freaking awesome for the amount of shots and beer we drank! Bartenders are on point. I can't believe I have never come in for a drink in all the years I have been downtown. Will definitely be back again and again.

Popcorn! Get ya popcorn here! Casey's on Central is one of the best low key no frills bars in Orlando. I have always seen Casey's as a great starting and/or ending point for any excursion downtown. The drinks are reasonably priced and strong. The staff is crazy cool, friendly, and just downright awesome. Nowadays how often do you see the owner mixing it up behind his very own bar? The answer is easy. Not that often. Casey keeps his clientele happy and coming back again and again. The atmosphere and environment is so laid back. While things may get cramped inside, you will always find refugees congregating around the outside patio area. On certain nights, you can catch some of Orlando's local music flavor. If you are a dog lover then you must attend their annual Dog Fest. I hear it is quite the time! If you happen to be new to the area then I recommend stopping by Casey's to experience the true Orlando. None of that Mickey Mouse stuff. Come on down to Casey's. WeatherMan Predicts: 100% chance of scoring brownie points if you happen to be a fan of anything Michigan (particularly the Wolverines). Also ask if they have any jolly rancher shots. You will be glad you did. I am partial to the Sour Apple one myself!

I stopped in last night (a Thursday) for the first time and I can assure you I'll be back! The service is amazing. My bartender was so friendly and cheerful, it really made a great impression on not just him, but the bar itself. They have a colorful and well-written chalkboard that lists some of their drink selections to the right when you walk in. I sat outside under their awning and I was still able to hear the live band which was really nice. I will definitely be coming back to this location again especially now I know that they give out free popcorn! WIN!

Brandon is the only reason I come to Casey's. That bitch is glorious. (Also for Troy and Corey, but that's beside the point).

Casey's on Central is like my lucky rabbit's foot. Anytime I start my night off here I have the perfect evening. This is a great place, it feels comfortable and friendly. I don't know the owner but they sure do a good job of making you feel like you do. Free late night popcorn is a good reason to come back to this bar after your travels. They have a tiny area where live acts perform and they are masters at fitting(jamming) everyone in and yet not making it uncomfortable. My downtown ritual will always include Casey's on Central, - Lucky rabbit's foot indeed.
