"Fulchino and Cashion, who have been working together for three decades, have continuously operated restaurants in this very same address on Columbia Road since 1995. They opened Cashion’s Eat Place there that year, and then replaced it with Johnny’s Half Shell in 2016." - Evan Caplan

Delicious Mediterranean/American fare. Try the chef's tasting menu and you won't be disappointed. This place is a little out of the way, but worth the cab ride. Dishes are tasty and delicately flavored. Wine pairings and list is terrific. Great spot for an intimate dinner or small group get-together.

Getting a reservation at the last minute may be tricky. Don't worry, there's plenty of room at the bar. You can order off the specialty brunch menu or order any traditional brunch item not featured. The French toast is amazing but it takes a while to order. If you don't have a lot of time, the eggs and hash browns are yummy. Oh, and the bloody Mary's are excellent.

Love the cocktails and the menu options, didn't love seeing a HUGE rat on the bar counter halfway through my third drink. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since it IS Adams Morgan and they might be trying to get rid of them...... still a shock to the system.

Don't eat here! As of February 2016 the food was overpriced and just OK. But even more important, the place was FREEZING. As in everyone in the place, men and women alike, were eating with winter coats on. Absurd. We complained multiple times to our server and a manager never came over. I even had my scarf on. Check Yelp and TripAdvisor too and you'll see the same thing. Very disappointing.

Nestled in the heart of Adams Morgan, Cashion's open dining room and patio are prime real estate for fair-weather dining. Dishes are consistently well prepared and often inventive; service is attentive and chatty; and decor is classic and charming. The menu's lack of any identifiable unifying theme doesn't seem to deter the upscale AdMo-Kalorama crowd, which often packs the patio late into weekend nights. Recommended. Expensive.

Long time favorite! With all the new restaurants in DC, it's nice that this classic is still here producing an excellent dining experience without all the hype.

Enjoyable food, good wine, some of the best service in the neighborhood. A bit pricey to make it a habit though, but I would if I could.

The food keeps on getting better, the wine list is one of the most interesting and well priced in town, and you always feel at home.
