Casino Bar

Great bar to visit. Had no issues with the bar tender every time I went up had the yellow jacket before I could finish saying anything. Pool tables aren't overly crowded with each other.

I really liked this place, but the person who checks ID at the entrance is always incredibly rude.

Great spot for play near Sun Valley, and good prices too! I came in while Patty was bartending and she took excellent care of me, and Will was also a great bartender. They’ve got 3 pool tables and I felt attended to every time I approached the bar. 10/10. Will come right back here next time I’m in Ketchum.

Straight up locals bar but super friendly. If you look up “bar” in the dictionary, there should be a picture of Casino. Bartender was really nice, atmosphere is…. well… it’s an old bar. Don’t come here for fancy drinks or upscale gastropub fare. There’s a pool table, foosball, Budweiser signs. Hemingway hung out here. For a reason.

Great drive bar, good tunes, pool tables and cheap drinks. We made a couple stops here during our ski trip to Sun Valley.

This is my absolute favorite bar in the whole valley. The bartenders are fantastic as well as the bouncers. They all go out of their way to say hello to me and my friends. They know their regulars well and their orders :) Best bar ever 💗

Not usually one to post a review about a place, but I saw all of the comments about the bartenders being rude and judgmental and I can confirm they are VERY true. I’ve never had such a poor experience at a bar. The bartender took our ID’s and started showing them to other customers at the bar and then proceeded to tell us that our ID’s were fake. So we told them to call the cops so they can check them. Just a very poor experience overall and the vibe is gross and dark. Don’t go here if u want to have a good night

If you're 30 plus this is the right spot, bunch of good drinks fresh people. And all the right reasons do you want to come back on your next visit 😉

Stumbled upon The Casino after a recommendation was given by the bartender at Warfield. Thinking it was an actual casino, I was hesitant to go in before realizing it was a bar. However, I am so glad I did. There was a great mix of younger/older folks and the ambiance was super fun. Not to mention, the bartender Gorbs provided amazing service paired with an incredible personality. I am excited for the day I return to this location.

Simply the classiest joint in town. I feel like royalty here. Nowhere on earth I'd rather be...but in my seat...next to GORBY!!!

Classic old school no frills bar . No draft beer but a large selection of spirits and a limited selection of beers. Great prices and the employees & locals were all friendly to us out-of-towners .

If you are laid-back, like to drink, like to flirt, and like to play billiards, this is your place. If you are remotely uptight, do not come here :-). Staff is awesome!!!

Ya this is the dictionary definition of a dive bar. Plan to feel a bit rebellious after you leave. Drinks are semi-affordable, bathrooms are questionable, drinks are stiff, and the company seedy. Late night fun to be had by all. Play pool, dance, or watch a football game. I love dive bars.

We rolled in here with a group of four on a super busy night and were STILL greeted with a friendly face and super helpful bartender. It was refreshing after experiencing rude bartenders elsewhere; vibes were good in the room, cool games to play, will return. Really great for a "dive bar" !!

They bent my real ID in half. This ruined my entire family trip bc I got denied the rest of the time. I would recommend this bouncer as a 1 out of 10. He was a low price of trash. I am fucking 23.

The wife and In popped in for a shot of tequila... or two . $15 for a Casamigo shot (Upper middle shelf). Warn a guy. Am I right? Unfortunately we found out when we asked to close out ‍. This review is based exclusively on that one visit.

$2 Rainer's and Hamm's! Cash only though. The place feels like you're in a basement. Definitive dive vibes. It's a fun place though. Also, at least the bathroom is clearly meant for more than one person. What's with one toilet/one urinal establishments without locks on the door in this town?! A couple of the bartender's are very friendly. Considering the prevalence of next-level rudeness everywhere in the Valley, this is quite a positive feature.

LETS PLAY POOL! Yeah, this is the place to go for that! My husband and I had tried to play pool at another local bar, but we were battling kids running around and even toddlers grabbing the pool stick, so we sought out a kid-free environment for a game and this was the spot. THE DRINKS: Pretty standard, but truly what are you expecting? It's a fun cozy dive bar, get over yourself fancy pants. THE ENVIRONMENT: Not quite sure if some pull tabs and a few one armed bandits makes a true casino, but I'm totally okay with it. There are 3 pool tables, lots of darts and a fooz ball table. Super fun place to hang and there are NO KIDS... not easy to find in Sun Valley. Don't get me wrong kids are cool, but sometimes a break is necessary... SERVICE: The bartender rocks... you know the people that ignore eye contact when they're busy mixing up a drink? Yeah, that guy doesn't work here. this Bartender makes sure you know he's a comin' to get you a bevvy. YURP! Check this place out if you want a great dive bar it's tip top awesome.

Didn't stay here long but this is a classic dive bar. You can buy cigarettes, dabble in video poker, and meet a semi seedy bunch that will make you feel like a badass. Fun pool, darts, foosball- all that.

I can't call myself a local and I have learned the legacy of the Casino over twenty years. The new proprietors Rick and Patty have preserved and honored that legacy memorializing the barfly's and bartenders that have passed and reinforcing the community and village that shelter in the Casino. The bartenders and regulars are like an informal family This is a real ski community bar, holidays excepted. A local experience. The Proprietors deserve your patronage just please respect the locals.

Perfect dive bar. Nice atmosphere, welcoming. A diverse crowd. Good place to watch a game or just wet your whistle Great prices, friendly staff and good beers.

No longer the last bastion of smokers, you can now see from the front to the back of the place if it's not jammed with people! The bartenders are fair, the prices are honest, and everyone ends up there toward the end of the night. Cash only! Three pool tables, few arcade games, and three tv's. Smokers are allowed to go in and out but can't take their drinks out the door (and there is a robust staff to make sure). Cover charge only if there is a band, which is very rare (about 2x a year). Some of the most character(s) for a bar in town, and bartenders who devote their life to the place. One of the best, ever.

The bartender poured me a shot that was much larger than I had expected. After he explained to me that it was cash only, he wouldn't accept my chase sapphire card. Also, I tried to sneak in my 20 year old nephew and he was immediately ejected! WTF! You'll see me at Leftys next time!

As a dive bar goes this is tops! Lots of hot twenty somethings playing foosball, pool, and darts. A well stocked juke box. Even a coat check Friday and Saturday Nights!!! And $2.00 Hamms beers.

The Casbah is a blast. Bring your balls. Rumors of motorcycles being pulled into the bar in the winter. Smoke and curse filled fun. IDK why Yelp called it an office. It is just a wild dive bar.

Best bar in Ketchum. Make it your headquarters from which to operate. History and information you can gather from here is worth it alone. Service is great and staff is awesome, prices and value veery worthy. I'll stop next time I'm through.

We left the Cellar looking for another place to hit and the boys told us to hit the casino... well it wasn't quite a casino.. but we had pool and plenty of laughs... shots and beers for beverages...which totally works... but no food and we were kinda hungry for something... it was fun for the people watching and juke box and laid back feel...

Best bar by far in the valley? I had a couple of drinks there with Ernie Hemingway yesterday.

How does Casino only have 6 reviews??? Best dive bar in Ketchum. Pool tables....check. Foosball...check. Darts...check. Jukebox...check. Oh yeah, they also have a long bar and pour stiff cocktails. It's a fricking landmark. Go there. Drink. Play. Enjoy.

this place is totally rad, good juke box, and recently smoke free, super strong cheap drinks, and some of the best bartenders in town. this is where the locals come year round to relax after finishing there work at other bars and hangs, especially if you roll in on a Monday night.
