We stumbled on this welcoming neighborhood wine room while taking a walk through Noe Valley. The atmosphere is intimate and unassuming, the owner is charming and down to earth, and the wine selection is both interesting and delightful. If you're hungry you can satiate your appetite with any number of delicious offerings: the cheese and meat plate is particularly delicious. It's the perfect spot for a small group of friends and great conversation. I look forward to my next visit!

Good beer and shockingly good food. Beer list changes regularly, can always expect some strong local offerings as well as often a San Diego brewery or two as well. Don't come here looking for TVs and nachos, this isn't that kind of spot but do come here if you'd actually like to have a conversation over a legit beer or glass of wine along with something delightful from the kitchen.

They only have a tiny kitchen in the back corner of the place, but the appetizers and entrees are actually very good. (I hear the sous chef at Foreign Cinema created their menu.) Good selection of draft and bottled beers that are rotated pretty often.

Honestly I was expecting to pay more here. Great Asian/Mexican fusion food and good beers that are only a buck more than the Dubliner across the street. Meat and Cheese plate was delicious, but not quite as robust as Uva Enoteca. Don't go here to watch a game, but great for a date.

Great beer and wine selection (no liquor). Food menu is more tapas-like than bar food, but everything is delicious. Great place for a drink to start the night

Always pretty busy with a chatty, loud vibe. Pretzel bits are awesome. Wine list is good for a wine bar but I always thought the beer list was better.

Great beers, knowledgeable staff, excellent food. Most places try to do everything and most of it's meh. Caskhouse focuses on a smaller selection of quality items, so everything they do is done well.

The food is really yummy here. I got the pretzel bites and shrimp tacos. Beer selection is good too.
