Caspar - Das Drei-Häuser-Hotel

My stay in this place was based on a random selection. What a huge surprise. Hotel exceeded all expectations. Very smooth and kind check-in. Spacious nicely designed and very comfortable rooms. Great kitchen with amazing selection of Swiss food. I have only superlatives to say.

I stayed with two of my friends at this hotel this week and while the rooms and hotel itself were very nice and clean, we didn’t have a good experience with the staff. Upon arrival, no one was very pleasant or welcoming. Very cold. We also had to walk all our luggage to our room across cobblestone with no help from staff. Every time we went to reception, we were not welcomed and barely helped. There was only one staff member who was helpful in giving us train direction. Super odd for a hotel staff to be so cold. Put a very bad taste in our mouth. Upon checking out, we were never even asked how our stay was. What a shame as we were very excited to be visiting.

Recently stayed here whilst attending my brother’s wedding in a nearby village. What an amazing find, staff we all really friendly, spoke good English, rooms were really clean and so comfortable. The bed and pillows were fantastically comfortable. Food was so good, breakfast was really good too -despite what other reviews have said. Had speck and eggs, as well as cereal and pastries . A really amazing hotel to stay at, in a great little town.

Friendly staff, spacious and well equipped rooms. Breakfast is sufficient Best fried eggs 😋 Having an original Nespresso machine with daily capsules refills is a positive thing.

This is a lovely new hotel. It is fresh and stylish and comfortable. The room had wood floors, a marble desk area and interesting lighting fixtures, although there is a strange strange feature which is a shower with a glass wall that is open to the rest of the room! Fortunately you can draw a curtain across it ,but that was very odd. the room was also very warm with no way to cool it. Unfortunately the hotel is in the middle of a small residential area quite a long ways from Lucerne which is the city we were visiting. I'm not even sure how you would get in to Lucerne if you were not on a tour.

Very beautiful and stylish hotel with local food. We arrived too early for the check-in so we waited next to the reception. At 3 other guests arrived and they we're checked-in before us so we had to wait for another hour si ce the check-in started. We found that really weird - the receptionist could've mentioned that he's ready to check us in as we've sat just next to him.

Charming, quaint, typically Swiss. The rooms are sparkling clean. Everything is of the highest quality. Even though it's a bit pricey, considering how nice it is, it isn't expensive.

This hotel is not worth the price. It’s not worth half the price, to be honest. The room was clean and looked nice, but that’s about where the positives stopped. The “free breakfast” was a joke, only containing a croissant, a tiny helping of yogurt, juice, and a fruit. I mean I guess technically it was free but for this price you’d expect something a bit more substantial. Also, the breakfast was not delivered to my door at 7:15, as said, but rather it was there at 22:30 the night before. Yup, just sitting in room temperature until I wake up. Then on top of everything, the internet stopped working my second night there. When my work relies on being able to access internet, that causes some big problems. So I decided I’d just relax a bit and turn on the TV… but after watching for about 5 minutes it shuts off no able to be turned on again. I guess the universe was telling me to go to bed. As stated above, not worth the price.
