We love Caspian Kabob! The food is made with care and is always super fresh. The owner Victor is so sweet and friendly (along with everyone else we’ve interacted with). The entire restaurant (tables, etc.) is extremely clean. It’s obvious that they take pride in what they do. We’ve been regulars here for at least a couple years now and will keep coming back.

Google
Caspian Kabob is absolutely delicious. The lamb plate and chicken kabob were wonderful and perfectly prepared. It's been in this location for a while now but I'm disappointed in myself for only just now getting around to trying it. There are some Mediterranean places around Beaverton, and this is ever so slightly more expensive, but I think this will be my new recommendation to anyone in the area looking for a good kabob or falafel.

Google
Amaziiiiing Kabob! And superb customer service. Their tea is very tasty as well! Highly recommended.

Google
The location is a bit hidden and you would not think they are located where they are. Bottom floor of an apartment complex in the complex and not visible from the street. The food was really good. My wife and I love Mediterranean/ middle eastern food and Caspian Kabob was fantastic. Everything was really fresh and bread was made fresh to order. The service was friendly and they were busy after dinner rush time so you know locals love it too. They are so good they really deserve to be in a restaurant space. Thank you very much!

Google
Great little hidden gem. The staff were super friendly and helpful, but the star here was the food. The hummus had flavor! You’ve got to order the chicken and steak, both were so tender you can cut them with a fork. Also, give the hot sauce a test drive, good heat and a smooth flavor.

Google
I had read that the Caspian Kabob was a good place to go so a friend and I decided to try it out. The restaurant is in the middle of a large apartment complex which from Murray, does not look like a place that has commercial places in it. Parking seemed to be ok but it was a weeknight so it wasn't too busy. Food was pretty good though, leaning a bit on the bland side with not enough seasoning. The place seemed clean and service was good. I'd give this place 3.4 stars if I could.

Google
Great and friendly customer service. The food is yummy, and I had the chicken pita sandwich with fries. The chicken is spiced nice. I would go again to try more.

Google
Incredible gyros. Great fries and homemade tzatziki. Service was quick and felt like a family. All I can say is that it is really unfortunate that it is so close by! Definitely spending all my money here.

Yelp
MUST TRY: A true 10/10 and 5 star This place has become a go to for me and my bf! My go to is the Vazirie Kabob. It is packed with flavor as is the rice. I still really enjoy the hummus and pita every once in a while. The staff is absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend this place enough.
google avatar

Annika P.

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here. The pita and hummus were my favorite part of the meal. The hummus was so fresh and flavorful, and the pita was served warm and deliciously crispy. I loved it. The gyro was pretty good, and the fries were fresh and tasty. The miss for me was the Mediterranean salad. I mistakenly ordered it as an entree, thinking the salad and the pita and hummus would be filling enough, but there just wasn't enough substance in the salad, as it was mostly just green leaf lettuce. Still a tasty salad, just not as an entree. The staff were all very friendly though, and our food came out quickly.

Yelp
Forgot to take a photo. the food was really good. the bread was fresh made and warm. Salad was fresh and crunchy.

Mehakpreet K.

Yelp
Trust me the food hers is bussing!!! The owner comes out greets you and starts cooking the chicken, not some pre cooked food. The chicken is fire and the rice was like as if i was eating cream.
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
Best gyro I've ever had. Every bite was scrumptious. Even better when I stumbled upon this place after a nearby restaurant ran out of food. I will definitely come back again.
google avatar

Brandon K.

Yelp
Incredible Persian restaurant. Been to dozens of Mediterranean style restaurants and this is the best one. Vaziri kebab is my go to, comes with chicken and koobedeh kebabs. Rice portions are huge and delicious, easily can share with two people who have left overs the next day. Staff is also amazing can't recommend enough.

Yelp
A good place in the neighborhood to get either some kabobs and gyros. I enjoyed my gyro as it was both flavorful and pretty filling. It was something that went well during the hot weather. We also ordered the Kubideh kabob platter over salad, and that was good. The service here is pretty friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Truly the best Kabobs in Oregon. Excellent and friendly service. Packaged with great care for takeout.

Yelp
The best Persian food I've ever had. (Don't tell my grandma.) Barg was so tender, I was worried we paid extra and were given another kubideh by mistake. It was fantastic, I've always disliked it & would avoid ordering it from other places because it's usually dry or just overcooked. But... this was amazing. Rice was also cooked perfectly. Nothing too oily. Flavor was perfect. Prices were beyond fair. A lot of food for not a lot of money. The restaurant itself was cute & small, Persian music playing, owner was friendly. Reminded me of being home. I can't wait to come back & my husband said he found his new lunch spot for when he's working. Thank you.

Yelp
Really good first visit. I had the steak and ground beef kabob special. Meat was cooked perfectly-supee tender. I prefer my meat seasoned so I loved it after a good amount of salt and pepper. Really good. My wife had the Cornish Game Hen and loved it. The saffron rice is so good and different from what you can get other places. So good. Also loved the hummus and pita bread. Really good!

Yelp
Went to this establishment with very high expectations based on the online reviews. The owner or the lady taking the orders was super kind and welcoming, and while taking my order she already warned me that I'd have to wait 15-20 mins for my order as they were super busy on Saturday afternoon. I had no problem with that. When she brought the food to my table, even then she was apologetic about it. Really loved her courteous and kind nature. Now coming to the food, I ordered a plate of Kubideh Kabob. While the meat itself was quite fresh, juicy and succulent, I would have liked it better if the kabob had been seasoned and spiced more. The kabob was a little bland for my taste. I would rate the dish above average, a solid 3/5 but I have definitely had much better Persian kabobs elsewhere. I'd love to try other kabobs before making up my mind for this place.

Yelp
Stopped here on a rainy Thu night, we were the only customers eating in. Still, the owner and chef completely warmed the space. They recommended the Kubideh platter, the beef and lamb kabob. I opted for the salad instead of rice for $2 more. The kabob was so tender and delicious subtle flavor and hot Persian tea rounded out the meal. Loved the food, hospitality, and the care that was obviously put into the food. Will come back again and tell others!

Yelp
Kubideh was so juicy, chicken well seasoned! The special Soltani, was amazing as well. Delicious and can't wait to come back, wish they had tahdig!

Sharon N.

Yelp
Have gone twice. Each time ordered more. Today it was Mezze platter, Vazirie kabob, Zaytoon Parvadeh and lamb gyros sandwich with fries. All delicious and well enjoyed. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Please trust me when I say that this restaurant is incredible. The meat is tender, the saffron rice is flavorful, the baba ganush is delicious. My partner and I were unable to finish our order because helpings were so generous: mezza platter, kubideh kabob plate, baklava, Persian tea, and doogh yogurt drink. The service was great: the owner (I think?) took our order, and both he and the lady who served our food were wonderfully kind. The interior is beautiful and clean. Big windows lend an airy, sunny vibe that I really enjoyed with my meal. I'm planning on coming back very soon :)

Yelp
Cooking things on sticks is one of my favorite pastimes. Sometimes though I'm lazy and want someone else to do it for me! Caspian Kabob had a food cart once upon a time and now they've posted up in West End Beaverton with an actual storefront. It's super friendly counter service and you can see them cooking the 'bobs at the register. Definitely go for the Ground Beef and Lamb Kubideh, whether in gyro form or skewer & rice form. Tender, flavorful, filling! And that rice!! How do the make it so tasty? I also liked that they have Zaytoon Parvadeh, an olive salad/side dish. It complimented the Kubideh really well. I would pass (or try at least once) on the chicken kabobs at they were on the dry side for me. Everything else I would order again and again! Their website also allows you to order online for pickup, which I recommend if you're ordering during lunchtime.

Yelp
I've always been a big fan of Persian food and decided to try a place out in the Portland area. I ordered the beef kubideh kabob plate that came with 2 Kabobs over rice with a grilled tomato and white sauce on the side. The food was excellent, the kabob itself was tender and juicy and melted in my mouth. The rice tasted really good and had a nice flavor to it. The grilled tomato and sauce were also very nice. The service was good and the food came out very fast. Would definitely go again when in the area. Tips: - The kubideh kabob is really good and a solid choice. - Make sure to try out the white sauce they give on the side. It has a nice mix of yogurt and cucumbers and is very refreshing.

Yelp
Great spot but super hidden!! Super clean and simple menu but delicious delicious delicious!!! Fresh baked Naan and plenty of great dipping sauce choices!!

Yelp
Caspian Kabob started as a food cart in Mississippi Ave in Portland. Today they are a full-service restaurant in the newly developed West End District off Murray Blvd in Beaverton. We stopped for lunch with the goal of trying every type of kabob they offer... we tried Kubideh (seasoned ground beef and lamb), Jujeh (chicken breast) and Barg (filet mignon). All kabobs were served with basmati rice topped with saffron. The rice was cooked to perfection without being sticky. The kubideh kabob was just as I remembered from the food cart days... moist and full of flavor... melts in your mouth. The jujeh kabob was tender and juicy with a hint of saffron and lemon. The Barg kabob was flavorful and tender. As much as it was fun to stop at the food carts for kabob, I think it's even nicer to be able to sit and enjoy the meal in a restaurant setting... rain or shine! If you haven't been introduced to Persian Kabobs, this would be the perfect place to try them all. And if you know your kabobs well, you'll like Caspian Kabob too!

Yelp
Wonderful, fresh and delicious Persian food. Caspian is such a little treasure. Not to mention the owner is so kind and always has a big smile on his face. This food is made with love. It's like going home to your families house. Small but mighty menu has the essentials for a lovely meal. The restaurant is always clean with music playing.

Yelp
What a tasty delight in Beaverton! Tucked away in the West End apartment complex. Small place, you go up to the counter to place your order. We got the gyro and fries and Caspian kabob plate, and side of falafel. Chicken kabob had good flavor, tender and moist. Rice was flavorful and fragrant. Gyro was yummy! Shaved lamb/beef meat with right balance of hummus, tahini, onions, tomatoes and lettuce. The fries were so good, lightly seasoned with some flavored salt. Falafel had good flavor, light texture, but smaller than I usually get at other places. Owner was very nice and accommodating to my indecisiveness when ordering. Parking was easy. Quiet neighborhood, with easy access to find. Definitely will back to try more items.

Yelp
First time coming here and to this area in general. It's hidden behind the apartment complex as part of the shopping/dining area. Upon walking in, the owners greeted us kindly and made us feel welcome. I ordered the Kubideh Sandwich with fries. We also got a Baba Ghanoush with pita. The baba ghanoush had a bright flavor and freshness to it unlike other baba ghanoushes I've had before. It was delicious and not what I was expecting. The Kubideh Sandwich was great too, I love the flavor of the meat. The ingredients in the sandwich were fresh and lightly seasoned so it didn't feel heavy eating the whole sandwich.

Yelp
Wow and again WOo.....W... It was delicious...Yummy...I cant find words to describe how great it was... The owner was super friendly and the atmosphere was great...The zeytoon parvardeh and kubideh are one of those taste that even you cant find in Iran either... All stars for this place... I hope one day they will have another branch in California...

Yelp
Amazing delicious Persian food with classic Persian hospitality! I first visited Caspian Kabob at their food truck in downtown Portland and was amazed and the quality coming out of a food truck. I am Persian so I had very high expectations. Portland is full of middle eastern food that is more Lebanese so I was excited to try a authentic Persian/Iranian restaurant and I was impressed. The service was gracious and our food came out perfectly cooked and presented. The quality of the ingredients is worth the drive and price. We ordered Kubideh kabob And the chicken Kubideh combo Salmon and herbed rice (weekly special) Mediterranean Salad Pita and Hummus Dip
google avatar

Yelp
Sooooo good. Just love their kubideh sandwiches so much. I love the yogurt sauce and the fresh, crunchy salad inside the sandwich. Such a healthy meal!! I also adore the pita wrap, it's so soft and fresh. I come back here again and again for more yummy goodness. Thank you!!

Yelp
Excellent food, ask for what is not on the menu. Went with friends and had a feast fit for Shah.

Yelp
Some item was a hit, while others a miss. Thier Kubideh and Chicken Kabob Combo Plate was on the bland side. The meats were really tender and bouncy but lacked a lot of seasoning. Rice and tomatoes were alright. Portion was also small for the price. On the otherhand, I really enjoyed their Mezza Platter, especially the Maast o Mosir. Nice and refreshing with a good amount of savoriness. Would come back for that. Their pita bread was nicely toasted and the Hummus and Babaganoush were also tasty. Good portion on this one, maybe can use a bit more bread. Nice friendly people working at the place. On the small side for a restaurant but it seems like they have a good number of regulars that know them really well.

Yelp
Caspian Kabob is run by the same folks who had the food truck a few years back - and according to the lore, they've only gotten better, which is impressive since the food is so tasty. These guys are super conveniently located, and the food was superb. We had the lamb kabob with saffron rice, and let me tell you - I have an uncle who makes saffron rice better than anyone I've tasted, and this place comes in a close 2nd. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the price and the atmosphere. It's a bit pricey for a single meal, though you do get a fairly substantial amount of food. The atmosphere is a bit cold, but I also think it may be part of moving into their new space still. Overall, great spot to visit for some delicious kabob!

Yelp
Oh Yes! No doubt! This is "The Place" for Mediterranean and it's in Beaverton! We ate at the restaurant the first time. In a new apartment complex that has street shops. "With Parking" Polite family who make you feel at home. The place is super clean and bright. I have had a lot of felafel, gyro all over the place. The seasoning of the meat...I don't know what they do but it's amazing! tender, seasoned, and cooked to literary perfection. The felafel, perfectly crisp, not greasy, and the flavor. So, give them a try. I know you will be just as happy and won't go anywhere else.
google avatar

Yelp
This is an absolutely delicious Persian restaurant and I can't wait to be back. The skewers were juicy and the rice was fragrant, savory and perfect. Based off the quality of my entree I have little doubt the other offerings are delicious as well. Really friendly service when I visited and looking forward to adding this to the regular rotation!
google avatar

Richa K.

Yelp
Amazing food and very friendly service. Falafels were the best I have had in Portland area. Persian tea was great too. Bonus point, parking was easy. I am a vegetarian but I saw some meat kebabs cooking in their open kitchen, it looked like the authentic way to cook kebabs. Definitely give this restaurant a shot!
google avatar

Ankita T.

Yelp
I tried chicken kabob platter and one of their specials, the hen platter? Both tasted amazing, the chicken kabob was melt in the mouth good. The rice tasted delicious too. Some people may find the meat on the lighter side of seasoning but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Their dishes really bring out the flavor of meat. The owner is so nice and welcoming, will be back!

Chuck S.

Yelp
Just had the best meal at Caspian Kabob. It was such great and authentic Persian food, healthy and oh so tasty. We had chicken, steak, and ground meat kabobs. All were moist and cooked to perfection. The Persian tea was delicious. Everyone there is friendly and the restaurant was clean (front and back).
google avatar

Jessica N.

Yelp
Great, kind, and genuine service. It felt like a mom and pop shop, but very clean and quite modern inside. My husband had lamb(?) skewers with rice, and I had the falafel gyro, fries were generous and super tasty. We demolished our food in the car! Hubby thought it was just decent but I really enjoyed it!
google avatar

Brittany B.

Yelp
My family and I stopped here to grab a late lunch while in the neighborhood. Everything was fantastic and tasted so fresh! We ordered the beef kabob plate, hummus and pita, falafel, and gyro with fries and it was all delicious! The man there who greeted/served us was so kind and friendly. Great customer service.
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
Wow! What a fantastic meal at Caspian Kabob. I enjoyed a kubideh kabob for what must be the most reasonable price in the Portland area ($15) which came with yogurt sauce, a mix of white and saffron rice, and a grilled tomato. The meat was plentiful along with the rice (sadly I don't care for tomato), and really hit the spot for a Saturday lunch. My friend and I stayed there for so long that the chef offered us some complimentary Persian tea and sugar cubes, which really hit the spot and was extremely generous of them. The restaurant itself is located in a new Beaverton apartment/retail area with ample parking. Overall, I look forward to returning and trying their other dishes. It is hard to beat the flavor and the price of this place!
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
My husband and I really enjoyed our kabobs. The flavor was excellent and the rice was so yummy. We spoke with the owner about the baklava and he wasn't selling because it was a bad batch. I appreciate that an owner would take a loss by not serving sub par food. We sat outside and the staff was very attentive.
google avatar

Theresa A.

Yelp
This place is hidden in an apartment complex type plaza? Friendly owners. The food was good, yogurt was delicious. It's nice and clean inside. The flavors were good but could use a smidge more seasoning. We will be back to try more!

Jim C.

Yelp
We had our first meal there tonight. The food, each and every dish we had, was DELICIOUS. Let me double underline that for emphasis. The baba ghanouj was deliciously smokey, the accompanying pita was nicely charred. The juheh chicken plate had chunks of chicken that had been marinated and grilled. They were moist and tender (unlike the dryish, chewy chicken one sometimes encounters in other Persian/Middle Eastern restaurants) and sweet. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying tomato halves were charred and added just the right counterpoint. Best of all, the flavors were light and clean, with none of the heaviness that I've often encountered in similar cuisine. The host/owner/chef and his one assistant were welcoming, friendly, and helpful Absolutely my strongest recommendation! I hope you visit it and enjoy your meal as much as I.
google avatar

Carole F.

Yelp
Delish Persian food. Consistently the same wonderful experience, from Victor greeting you as you enter, to serving the best food and large quantities. Nice and immaculate little dining area.
google avatar

Patricia K.

Yelp
I was greeted warmly the moment I walked in the door and instantly felt at home and cared for. True service with true HEART. And the food!!!! Amazing. I had the ground beef/lamb kabobs on salad with hummus and baba ganoush. With the Persian tea. You will love it!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Food is just great and tasty. so deliciousThe staff is so nice and gives the best service ever. She has such a great smile on her face that you feel you are at home. Such a cozy place to have food. Highly recommended

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Our favorite middle eastern place in town. The service is always great and with a smile. Very homely atmosphere. The food is great, such fresh vegetables, flavorful kebabs and high quality rice. Vegetarian friendly!

Peter S.

Yelp
So worth the drive from SE Portland! Sensational gyro and kabob (perfectly prepared and well-seasoned). The Greek salad was so fresh with a perfectly balanced vegetable, cheese, and olive ratio. The dressing was a pleasant surprise, too! Caspian, thanks for a nice Sunday lunch and leftovers!
google avatar

Yelp
We had friends suggest Cassian Kabob for great Mediterranean food. My grandson had also been there before and liked it very much. We were not disappointed! Starting with the Mezze Platter that featured Baba ganoush, Mast mosire, and hummus. The pita bread that came with the platter was very fresh and both the Mast mosire and humus were some of the best I have ever had. While not a fan of Baba ganoush, this was tasty, and I will definitely order this dish again. Our party then ordered gyros a. And a vaziri kebab. The latter had 2 kebabs, one chicken and a second a blend of beef & lamb. They were both cooked perfectly and were moist and nicely seasoned. The saffron rice was tender and delicious. I really loved the mast mosire and dressed some of my kebab and rice with it. Service was very solid. You order at the counter and they deliver the meal to your table, so if you want to be waited on, this might not be for you. But for me, the food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. We will be back!

Ben D.

Yelp
I have been eating Persian food for about 30 years. It's an amazing cuisine with a very rich history. I ate at Caspian kabob for the first time several months ago and really enjoyed it... However on a recent visit the quality of the food wasn't as good and the quantity of food was not standard. The chicken kabob was a little dry, the barbecue tomatoes were tiny... And the hummus was not tasty. I did enjoy the ground beef and ground lamb kebab very much... But considering the price I may not return because there are a couple of other places in town that offer more value and taste.
google avatar

S K.

Yelp
If you're looking for good authentic Persian food, a good atmosphere to enjoy your food, and warm service, you have to give Caspian Kabob a try!

Danilea K.

Yelp
I am obsessed with this place since I discovered it back in summer. I have been to many places in the world and tasted some really amazing kabobs and let me tell you this place is real deal. The meats are so juicy and tender with great flavor. Not overly salty like some other places. It comes with abundant and deliciously made rice and grilled tomatoes. The owner is super nice as well. Can't wait to be back.
google avatar

Frank C.

Yelp
First time at Caspian after seeing this spot on Yelp a few times. Looks like it was a long time food truck spot (7 years after talking to the owner), and they opened up in the plaza of a brand new apartment complex (West End) for two months. We came in on a Sunday afternoon after some exercise outdoor, owner greeted us with a warm smile, we picked a table by the window as the place was empty at 3pm. Food came out fairly quick, nice and hot. The kubideh kabab is one of the best kebob I've had, the flavor and juiciness of the meat was a perfect match with the saffron rice. The chicken kebab is also flavorful, an easy 9/10 but wasn't as uniquely tasting as the kubideh. Gyro was nicely paired with lettuce and tomatoes, also a solid dish. Owner offered us a cup of tea to try out, the flavor is subtle, and adding a sugar cube seems to bring out the flavor a bit more, well balanced tea in general. This was a very enjoyable visit, the place is clean, great food, and a friendly owner. We will be back!

Yelp
This is a small location in a newer mixed use development. The menu is limited, but the kabob we ordered was tasty. It seemed the kabobs were precooked and just reheated.
