Cassidy's is o close to being a five. The bar has incredible food for what I actually consider a dive bar. Their burgers seem to be the most popular, but the patty melt kills it. All food is reasonably priced, are their beers. The staff is no-nonsense but works hard to make sure you have a drink. Cassidy's is very chill and honestly a comfortable place to relax or even work while on the peninsula in the daytime with the doors open. In the evening, the building changes as the regulars get drunk and loud. Cassidy's has patrons that really vary in age.
There are two entrances to Cassidy's. The west side entrance takes you directly into an area with two pool tables and gets very crowded. The other door places you right at the bar. The bar itself sits a little lower than usual with a light, smooth wood bar top. There are several square padded bar stools with no back support, but no footrest (again, the bar is short). The back bar contains the old school register, taps, bottle shelves, and multiple HDTVs, so your favorite team will likely be on. A smooth concrete floor sits below walls decorated with sports and alcohol-related signs.
Overall, Cassidy's is a great place to grab a burger and beer regardless of the time of day or day of the week.
