Cassio Restaurant and Pizzeria

We had a family meal here last Friday and we were very happy as always. This restaurant has been one of our go to places in the area to celebrate family occasions throughout the years. The food is alway delicious. I choose the 'sea food special' which did not disappoint. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly- especially Antonio. Always and enjoyable evening here. Would definitely recommend

A beautiful restaurant with an even better atmosphere! Waiting time is hardly long, and the waiters (especially Antonio!) are super super sweet. We have never had such a lovely experience! The food is gorgeous, super flavourful and very fresh, and I can’t recommend this place enough. A perfect place to have birthdays or events, truly very pleased. A special thank you to Antonio, for being an absolute sweetheart who can light up the entire room! Lovely!

Probably the best pasta I’ve ever had—even better than pasta I’ve had in Italy! Antonio was such an amazing server and made sure we had a wonderful time from beginning to end (we didn’t want it to end!) The sauce was divine, the spaghetti could not have been better. My German husband also had a penne that he thought was fantastic. The best food! The most amazing service! Couldn’t recommend more!

I went to this Italian restaurant and it looked like the scene from one of the Godfather movies. You walk in and wonder… am I in the godfather? The food is absolutely amazing—as good as being in Italy and better than any Italian food I’ve ever had in England, or all places. There were a few times I wondered if the mafia was going to pop up from the back kitchen but instead it was just delicious food and wine coming out. An outstanding dining experience in Tooting Bec. I never use the word outstanding but today I will.

Cassio is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like you’ve just discovered a hidden gem..even though it's clear they know exactly what they’re doing. We came here for a date night and left already planning our return. We started with the Avocado al Granchio Gratinato, which was super rich, flavourful, and unique. For mains, the Pappardelle dello Chef was silky and indulgent, while the Grilled Mixed Fish special was fresh, expertly prepared, and perfectly paired with a bottle of Falanghina. In terms of service, our waiter, Antonio, is an absolute legend. Funny, attentive, effortlessly charming, the man has it all..he brought an energy to the evening that elevated the entire experience. Like a shot of espresso in human form, he added just the right amount of flair without ever overstepping. He alone is worth the return trip. Between the warm, homey atmosphere, fantastic food, and exceptional service, Cassio ticks every box. It’s rare to find a place that nails every element of a night out, but this one does. We’ll definitely be back.

The food was so good and the servers Antonio and Marina were wonderful. Antonio was the perfect server, he made us feel welcomed and entertained the whole night and brought a lovely atmosphere to our experience. It was by far the best restaurant experience I’ve had and I will definitely be coming again.

My wife and I visited Cassio for the first time for our 3 year wedding anniversary and had the loveliest time. Antonio made us feel so welcome and special and we will definitely be coming back! Would highly recommend.

Had seen this place when out for a walk on Boxing Day. Arrived not soon after it opened. Food was good, with a good selection, seeming genuinely Italian. Staff were very friendly. Wasn't outrageously busy - but given that it was a Monday evening between Christmas and New Year, not that surprising.
