This is such a gem for anyone who loves French food! The dishes are not only delicious but also served with so much care and attention to detail. The staff are warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. With its cozy, French-inspired vibe, it feels like a special night out. Definitely a must-try if you’re craving authentic French cuisine in Calgary. **Reservation is recommended!

Cassis Bistro never disappoints. It's my favorite restaurant in Calgary. Food is always amazing. Service is very professional and efficient. Wines are of high quality. Prices are reasonable given the high quality. The founding members (Dominique, Gilles, Andrea) are passionate about making sure that guests' experience is superior. The dining room gets loud when full, so arrive early, eat on the terrasse, or go on weeknights Tues-Wed-Thurs (Friday is their busiest night).

Went to cassis for a staff dinner! And had such an amazing time. All of the staff were excellent and extremely attentive. We had the 4 course menu and the Food was so delicious, with great options to choose from for each course. Would recommend for anybody looking for a place to connect over a perfect meal. What a wonderful experience! We sat on the patio and it was so cute and intimate and the table and chairs were very comfortable compared to most restaurant patios. We shared 5 or 6 small plates and enjoyed some wine. The bread was to die for and the service was so kind and sweet, yet professional and polished. I especially loved the scallops and the raviolis. Would recommend and I will be back. Thank you so much for having us.

Our waiter Paul treated us so well. The food was amazing. It was like being back in France. Our waiter was from Toulouse and our chef was from Brittany.

Just came back from Paris in February and this place is better than many restaurants in Paris! We live nearby and it’s always busy and I can see why. Croquette (not in picture) is scrumptious, perfect texture and flavour. House baked baguette is chef’s kiss!! Beet salad was great, but it had more greens than beets and hope it had more beets. Salmon was cooked really nicely and the sauce paired really well with it. Beef tartar wasn’t the best we’ve had but still really great. Service is top notch. I am happy we tried this place and will return :)

Delicious meal included these highlights: pork pate on a lovely charcuterie board, the most tender chicken, mussels in a heavenly broth, and scrumptious nougat glace -- I took a risk and didn't order a chocolate dessert, and the risk paid off! Amandine was our friendly and attentive server. Perfect! The boss might like to reduce the number of staff congregating near the till. It is right behind a diner's chair, and the congestion and commotion are not ideal.

I’ve been here multiple times and this time we came for their New Year’s Eve set menu special. Every single course was perfect, tasty, came out in an orderly manner and had the option of coming with a wine pairing. The food is super high quality and you can tell they put time and effort into everyone’s dish. Best French food in Calgary!!! Definitely a favourite.
