Cassis Restaurant Mâcon

If you like to be surprised and you don't have any allergies - it will be a high quality meal for a reasonable price! Accompanying wines are a nice to have gimmick but check their wine list, it's worth trying. The staff probably speaks English but does it unwillingly. There were 2 small " greetings from the house " which is really nice. The pictures show the actual menu in August 2025

If you are in Macon you must go to this restaurant, the staff are friendly, the food is amazing and the wine pairings are perfect. We love it !

The food was absolutely exceptional! Each plate had a great balance of flavours and was executed well. The service was also very good, and the menu was very well priced for the lunch, not too expensive at all.

We stayed in Macon for a longer trip and this was one of my favorite restaurants in Macon, so much so that we ate here twice. The chef is very talented, all of the flavors are fresh, creative, and well balanced. The dishes are cooked expertly (especially all of the fish dishes, they were perfect). Even the menu enfant was cooked with care, with such amazing vegetables that my daughter gobbled them up. The tasting menu is such a great price, and the wine pairings were phenomenal. I was very impressed by the cheese course of green beans and gorgonzola. So simple yet so delicious. Service was a bit chaotic and wasn't the friendliest, perhaps we came when it was too busy, but the food made up for it.

Super relaxed environment, not pretentious. Staff lovely and friendly, they carefully explained dishes. Had 4 course tasting menu with wine flight. All tasted delicious. Can definitely recommend.

Delightful restaurant in Macon. We sat outside under the trees. Friendly service, the lunch menu has two entrees, plats and desserts and we found the food well presented and delicious. Good wine list.
