Beautiful old building with a genteel and laid back atmosphere. Wonderful breakfasts with freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs from the hens in the garden and other quality items including breads, granola and yoghurts. Very good coffee. Our room faced out over the back of the hotel with a wonderful view. The room was very comfortable and there were lovely touches like fresh flowers, water and chocolates. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. One thing to e aware of is that there is a winding staircase to the upper floors which may provide difficulties to less able. The staff were wonderful.

My wife and I booked this hotel as soon as we saw it, six months before the trip, we were still going to celebrate my wife's birthday in Etretat at that time. The place is of course chic and authentic: dining area, library, spiral staircase, creaky floors and of course the room - everything is done very high quality and with love for the history of this place. The owner of the hotel is very friendly, as are the rest of the staff. After such hearty and delicious breakfasts, we didn’t feel like having lunch at all later). The view from the room was beautiful - the whole village and a little on the English Channel. There was not even a feeling that we were in a hotel, as if we were just visiting a distant relative! I think that my wife and I will definitely come back here.

Great location. Walkable to the sea front. Lots of restaurants and the staff happily recommend places. Parking on site available although was tight for space. Room was lovely. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was great, huge shower (although no blind in the window but we were on top floor so …)! Lots to do in the vicinity-The walk to the cliff top is worth it for the views! Quant and interesting hotel. There are stairs which wind up to the top, very pretty. No lift. Lovely helpful staff. Good breakfast too. Check out Arsene Lupin the character in the books by Maurice Le Blanc.

We stayed 10 days in Etretat and had the most wonderful time at this beautiful B&B. Estelle, the lady of the house, and her staff were absolutely lovely and hospitable. The room with sea view and the bathroom were spacious and the breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice and eggs from their own chicken just amazing. A great place to stay!

Castel de la Terrasse was simply amazing in every respect! We were so impressed with the warmth & knowledge of our hosts who were incredibly gracious & attentive to every guest need. Our room was really well appointed with a fabulous water view. The bed was most comfortable & the shower quite memorable along with the amenities. We had an incredible breakfast & the host could attest to the local source of the amazing cheeses, yogurt, jams & breads. What a feast! |Estelle & Olivier, our hosts, were absolutely delightful & truly put such effort & time into developing the ultimate bed & breakfast. They along with their beautiful son Victor provided such a memorable stay. Our only regret was not to have stayed longer.

Amazing time in this beautiful house. Quiet location hard to believe it is only a Stone throw from beaches resturants and beautiful gardens. Estelle is a wonderful hostess who was so kind and went out of her way to look after us and welcome us she was so knowledgeable and helped us make the very best of our stay. Each morning we had a superb breakfast, all fresh locally sourced produce . First class service. Comfortable room with excellent facilities. Amazing history. So glad we stayed here.

The boorish people who left a recent negative review should be ashamed of themselves for being so unreasonable and selfish. Estelle and Olivier are the perfect and most gracious and generous hosts imaginable. After buying this home, they spent more than two and a half years completely rebuilding it. They paid amazing dedication to making every detail just right. The living room and lovely outdoor terrace are available for your enjoyment. The newly-remodeled rooms are fully appointed with considerable thought given to every aspect to enhance the enjoyment of each guest. We had a water view room on the top floor— amazing view!! The breakfast (which is included in the price) is quite ample, with tea or coffee, orange juice, apple juice, several local cheeses, several breads, several local jams, local yogurt, etc. etc. Important that the food is all locally sourced, as Estelle works very hard on that aspect of your experience. Parking is included, which is VERY important in Étretat. Bottom line: DO NOT miss this amazing experience!!

We went to Etretat to spend a full week-end between closed friends and we enjoyed a lot this place. After searching the right one, I finally found this intimate hotel and I was lucky enough to book two rooms. It was just heaven on hearth from the beginning till the end. Nothing to say except that we had great time there in the castel and with the experimented and natural team. The breakfast was just amazing and we got the last one on the terrasse with the sea in front. Very calm and cosy hotel with a safety place for the cars which is useful and worthy comparing to the busiest center of town! We will never forget this time spent there!
