Castello Di Ristonchi

This was our first time in Tuscany and at the Castello di Ristonchi. Words cannot describe how gorgeous the views, castle, pool, and atmosphere were in this place. My wife and I had a high loft room in the Castello itself and waking up with stunning views took our breaths away each morning. The food was a once in a lifetime experience itself and you could taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients with each bite. We had so much fun with the pasta and pizza making classes on sight and the olive oil that was made on premise was the best I’ve ever tasted. The only issue we experienced was early on with a little water pressure and lack of hot water that were quickly resolved.

I had the incredible opportunity to photograph a wedding at this stunning and authentic castle, and it was an unforgettable experience! The castle's architecture and beautiful surroundings created a magical backdrop for the special day. I highly recommend this castle for anyone looking to create unforgettable memories in a breathtaking location!

This castle is quaint, rustic and very charming! Thr owners and staff were very hospitable and friendly and truly added to our experience here. We loved the food, location and the pool area. The castle’s accommodations are modest and comfortable. There are bugs but you’re in Tuscany! You’ll be fine☺️ the location and experience will more than make up for it!

Ar Ristonchi, I had the most magical experience I’ve ever had in Italy, and I’ve been here often. High atop a mountain, overlooking the most stunning view, is a castle out of fairy tales, and that’s only the bare beginning of the magic. Best of all are the owners - gracious, kind, ingenious, and inspiring. How this American-Danish couple brought this castle to new life as a haven for authentic and rustic celebration is a story worth hearing.

Our wedding at the 1,000-year-old castle in September 2024 was a magical experience, surrounded by the beauty of Italy and the warmth of our family and friends. We spent over a year coordinating every detail, from transportation to guest accommodations, and felt supported throughout the planning process. The castle itself was breathtaking, and our guests were able to stay on-site for three days, adding to the enchantment. The venue’s food was exceptional—some of the best vegetarian dishes and gelato we’ve ever had. The wedding cake was a dream! Cocktail hour and the entertainment were highlights, and the rave cave and pool party were a hit with everyone. The staff worked hard to accommodate us, but there were a few logistical issues, like cold showers, mosquito bites, and a mix-up with our playlist. Despite these challenges, the joy and laughter never stopped. Though there were some stressful moments, like transportation difficulties and missing floral arrangements, our photographers and videographers helped us stay on track. The love and happiness shared with our guests made everything worth it. Overall, we had the time of our lives and are forever grateful for the memories created at the castle. Our guests echoed our sentiments—it was one of the best weekends they’ve ever had. We truly appreciate the dedication of the staff and venue in making our dream wedding come to life. —Aimee & Jay Ps. The staff will always have our unwavering support and love for helping our friend into an ambulance. Especially Martin, he never questioned when I called his name for help to get our friend down the stairs and into the ambulance. The ambulance was discreet and fast. Our friend is still in ICU a week later. We are still sending her prayers and terrified for her. Thank you to all the staff and guests who made sure she got the best care quickly. Even though it was the worst case scenario to our beautiful weekend, we are confident she got the best care possible.

I visited the castle for a wedding. It was super fun from beginning to end. The fairytale setting with the adult summer camp vibe was magic!

We photographed a wedding at Castelli di Ristonchi this past year and the experience couldn't have been more magical. Our couple had chosen to do a three-day experience at the castle and each day was packed with delicious food, good people and friendly staff. I mean does it get any better than to get married in a 1,000 year old castle? It is such a unique place that will captivate you as soon as you walk through the front entryway. Every corner of the castle is beautiful and the views from the castle windows are to die for. The owner are also incredible. They and their family live on the property and you can tell how passionate they are about the land and their guests.
