Castello la Leccia

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles, great coffee, and a sense of calm luxury. The views from the property are breathtaking, and the castle itself is beautifully maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always making you feel at home. The on-site restaurant is excellent, with delicious food and a talented chef, Giulio. We took a cooking class with him, and it was such a highlight not only is he skilled, but also kind and passionate about what he does. We also had an amazing massage during our stay, and the wine tour offered at the property was one of the best we experienced in Chianti informative, fun, and of course, delicious. And let’s not forget the olive oil… it’s something truly special. Once you taste it, you can’t get enough. This place is pure Tuscan magic. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, indulge, and be thoroughly taken care of.

Stunning grounds, lovely food, impeccable service. Beautiful rooms. Location is central to many villages for day trips, our favourite being Sienna. Nice 4.5 Km trail right from The property and two lovely cats to enjoy!

We just spent one night at Castello La Leccia and were extremely happy with our stay. It’s an absolutely stunning place up in the hills of Chianti. The staff was super friendly and welcoming! You definitely need to eat at the restaurant, amazing culinary experience. With only 12 rooms, it’s super peaceful 😌

Stay here, you won't regret it! The view is absolutely stunning! We couldn't get over it. We had the pool all to ourselves, and it was wonderful. Amazing friendly service, unreal staff!! Make sure you use the spa, so relaxing. Good food and wine also!!

We stayed here in May of 2025 for our wedding. We didn't have our wedding at this venue however, all of our wedding party and family stayed here with us. Everything was incredible. The rooms, the service, the food, and of course the views were all 10/10. We are so happy with our time spent here and can't wait to come back and visit one day!

Words cannot express how gorgeous this property is! I could live there!!|The landscape is absolutely stunning. Everything about this property is 5-star. The staff is so enthusiastic and friendly. Claire, a receptionist, went out of her way to handle my lost airline luggage. I would highly recommend this property.

WOW!|| The seclusion of the road onto the property conceals this gem until the last moment. Beautiful grounds and old world (1000 years or so) castle are stunning.| The suite was gorgeous. Great light coming into the bedroom and bath.|Beautifully appointed with a walk in closet, office area, sitting room and great bathroom.| The grounds are gorgeous and the pool was exactly what we needed to beat the heat. | The wine was excellent ( Chianti Classsico) was our favorite. | Our meal on the terrace was fantastic..the pastas were outstanding and the strawberry soup for dessert was delightful. Breakfast was excellent as well. Great cheeses, fresh fruit, juice and meats are the perfect way to start the day. Prepared eggs can also be ordered and they were done expertly. | Finally, the staff was outstanding. My husband and I are on a ten week holiday in Europe and our stay at Castello La Leccia was a definite highlight. The rustic exterior is so appealing and the rooms and interior have been elegantly and thoughtfully refurbished. This property exudes class without any pretentious attitude!||The location is perfect for exploring Chianti and the swimming pool was a welcome relief from the searing Tuscan sun. We chose a deluxe room which was extremely spacious and so well appointed. Robes, slippers, separate sitting room with a desk and fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely bathroom amenities and super large and comfy bed. Daily complimentary water which we have not experienced in many Italian hotels this year.||The staff are absolutely wonderful! From Sara who checked us in and showed us around the property to the unforgettable group in the kitchen. Special shout out to Muella (sp?) for her enthusiastic and professional assistance. Nothing ever a problem for her.||Breakfast was varied and delicious with an optional cooked menu. Dinner proved delicious as well including Wednesday night pizza. Both dining experiences enjoyed with the rolling hills of Tuscany as a back drop! Que bella!||I am regretful that we had only two nights at Castello La Leccia as they were booked out and we wanted to extend our stay.
