Castello la Leccia

I’ve never written a review so enthusiastically. The stay at Castello La Leccia was so special. The service and dining was impeccable. I’d come back here in a heartbeat. The most relaxed and at ease I have ever felt. A special thanks to Sara who was truly the sweetest member of staff, to Cesare who ensured our glasses were always full, to the two cats for making sure we were unconditionally loved, and to the Tuscan hills for never disappointing.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles, great coffee, and a sense of calm luxury. The views from the property are breathtaking, and the castle itself is beautifully maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always making you feel at home. The on-site restaurant is excellent, with delicious food and a talented chef, Giulio. We took a cooking class with him, and it was such a highlight not only is he skilled, but also kind and passionate about what he does. We also had an amazing massage during our stay, and the wine tour offered at the property was one of the best we experienced in Chianti informative, fun, and of course, delicious. And let’s not forget the olive oil… it’s something truly special. Once you taste it, you can’t get enough. This place is pure Tuscan magic. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, indulge, and be thoroughly taken care of.

We just spent one night at Castello La Leccia and were extremely happy with our stay. It’s an absolutely stunning place up in the hills of Chianti. The staff was super friendly and welcoming! You definitely need to eat at the restaurant, amazing culinary experience. With only 12 rooms, it’s super peaceful 😌

Stunning grounds, lovely food, impeccable service. Beautiful rooms. Location is central to many villages for day trips, our favourite being Sienna. Nice 4.5 Km trail right from The property and two lovely cats to enjoy!

Stay here, you won't regret it! The view is absolutely stunning! We couldn't get over it. We had the pool all to ourselves, and it was wonderful. Amazing friendly service, unreal staff!! Make sure you use the spa, so relaxing. Good food and wine also!!

We stayed here in May of 2025 for our wedding. We didn't have our wedding at this venue however, all of our wedding party and family stayed here with us. Everything was incredible. The rooms, the service, the food, and of course the views were all 10/10. We are so happy with our time spent here and can't wait to come back and visit one day!

Words cannot express how gorgeous this property is! I could live there!!|The landscape is absolutely stunning. Everything about this property is 5-star. The staff is so enthusiastic and friendly. Claire, a receptionist, went out of her way to handle my lost airline luggage. I would highly recommend this property.

We loved Castello La Leccia! The location is perfect with amazing Tuscany views! The rooms and facilities are spotless! The food at the restaurant is amazing! The gardens, the swimming pool and the surrounding grounds are so peaceful! The people are so lovely! Really enjoyed the wine tasting experience and the pizza night! Can't wait to be back one day!
