What a beautiful, welcoming, comfortable place to stay! All the staff we interacted with were kind and helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable mattress. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious foods. We thoroughly enjoyed that breakfast experience! The interior of the parador and the courtyard preserved the beauty of the medieval castle with all the modern conveniences.

We've stayed here a few times on our journeys around Spain even though the food in the restaurant is pretty poor bog standard parador fare but just try and get a pot of tea at breakfast - they'll gladly deliver coffee and milk to your table without being asked but if you want tea they point you to an electric kettle 'over there'. Last week there were six of us waiting for this miserable little kettle to boil which raised a few laughs at the time and showed that the English and Dutch share a sense of humour. But that aside we'll be back.

It was a great stay. Lovely setting in the village. It's a magnificent castle set on the hill. We had a good sized family (tower) room with plenty of space and a separate area for our daughter to sleep in. Although this Parador doesn't have a pool, do check out the local pool in town where there is a large deep pool,a learner pool and splash area for the younger ones.

What a great Parador, about to undergo a revamp in October which it does need, but all the same a great Parador with a great team. The food is excellent and the superb, extremely attentive and friendly. The views are stunning and the village is a delight, be sure to look up the nuns chocolates!|Lovely walks to to do in the area and pleasant drives to look at little villages. The Cathedral at the bottom of the hill is well worth a visit.

Sadly tatty rooms that were not cheap. We had half board which was not good value for money. The food was mediocre at best. Awful music playing in the public areas. Over priced for what you got. ||Overall it was disappointing.

Loved the experience! It was a bit hot in the room until we opened the window - no AC working. One front desk person was unpleasant but all the rest were awesome!||

Lovely hotel The staff were friendly and the food was good. The castle definitely had a lovely atmosphere, and the location was stunning. The rooms only got four stars because they were a little dated but were a good size and clean.

The building and common areas are excellent but the room occupied lacked character and needed refurbishing badly. The staff were without fault and very helpful but some areas need some attention. Imagine being lucky enough to be seated by the window in the beautiful dining room yet the window was quite dirty and the terrace outside had weeds 10-30 cm high. It’s the detail that is lacking, same thing with breakfast. No healthy cereals just small packs of Kellog’s products. Bacon and eggs arrived very quickly but were cold. The restaurant menu didn’t appeal to our pallets so that’s perhaps an individual thing. However the main course of fish was dull whilst the dessert was brilliant
