So the menu is simple, you can get pie, you can get mash, you can get eel, all in varying quantities. That's pretty much it. There is a dessert and it'll be a single choice.
Pie will be meat, probably beef mince, no, there isn't a choice. It'll be hot and fresh from the oven. Mash will be mashed potato and relatively simple in creation. On this, you can get liquor, which is a thin parsley sauce. Eels, should you get them, will be jellied (this means sliced and boiled in a stock that is allowed to set). There will be bones, there will be jelly, I would suggest that you try it at least once!
Service is pleasant and consistent as long as I've been there. It's good trench food and will definitely stick to your ribs. If you're looking for an old school London experience, this will be it. The food isn't high brow, the place itself is like a time warp, but you'll be all the more better for it!
