The Best Bars for Nonalcoholic Cocktails in Singapore | Bon Appétit

"As dusk falls in Chinatown, the scarlet Cheshire cat sign of Cat Bite Club—Monument Lifestyle Café’s nocturnal alter ego founded in 2023 by San Francisco friends Jesse Vida and Gabriel Lowe—flickers awake; the night-time menu annotates ABV for each cocktail and many recipes were developed so Seedlip’s zero-proof spirits can swap in seamlessly while preserving the intended flavor profile, as with the Hulk Splash (Notas de Agave), which gets its green color from kiwi and broccoli." - ByAdam Erace

Have been to this fantastic bar quite a few times with my last visit being in Jan 2026. Cat Bite Club specialises in agave spirit (tequila, mezcal) based cocktails. The mixologist team is absolutely top notch here and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad drink at this place. The Cat Bite Margarita is probably the most popular cocktail here. Some of my other favourites from their current menu include Shiso Foine, Ghost’een, Ode to Ada and the Mezcal Negroni. Cat Bite Club has definitely been the best bar I’ve visited in Singapore over the last 12 months. A 200% recommendation.

Great cocktails, but I happened to stop by in the morning and had one of the best coffees in town. Lauren and Sue were so sweet and made me feel incredibly welcome. Definitely check this place out! And as a bonus, you get to collect the cutest cat stickers 🐱

Great spicy margaritas and cool hidden spot Cat Bite Club has a strong personality — part bar, part creative space. The spicy margarita stands out: balanced heat, citrus, and a clean finish. Presentation is simple and elegant. The interior mixes concrete, color, and art in a way that feels effortless. Music fits the place, and the team is welcoming without being intrusive. A solid choice for anyone who enjoys good cocktails and some good snacks like guacamole

I’ve been travelling around the world and following the 50 worlds best list. I was fortunate to do this in Singapore and this place was my first stop. It did not disappoint. 10/10 service, cocktails were unique and delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

A Purrfect Ending in Paradise As I’ve stated before, one of my ongoing quests is to seek out bars serving decent Mexican spirits — during my time in Southeast Asia. Last night in Singapore’s Chinatown, I struck gold at the unusually named Cat Bite Club. I’ve found a few solid mezcal and tequila bars throughout SEA, but the Cat has them all beat. Their selection is so deep you’d be hard-pressed to find a lineup like this even in Mexico. Another bonus was the top-notch service — bartenders, wait staff, and even the owner, Gabriel, all offering warm, genuine hospitality. A San Francisco transplant, Gabriel is an agave enthusiast who clearly loves what he does. While the Cat is known for its specialty cocktails, they also have an extensive list of Mexican spirits guaranteed to satisfy any agave connoisseur. So I’m officially presenting the first-ever Gringo in Paradise Spirit Award to the Cat Bite Club in Singapore for being the Number One purrveyor of Mexican spirits in Southeast Asia.

The drinks here are so good and the customer service is AMAZING. Yasmin made us feel so welcome and she really went above and beyond to have such a great night. She kept apologising for the delayed drinks but it only took 10 mins tops she’s rly the BEST server we’ve ever met Drinks are super well done and strong

Chill, intimate speakeasy, with a unique menu with agave and rice basis. We got there two most popular drinks, and was given an extra shot of tequila, which was very nice! Staff was friendly, overall would highly recommend.

Background Perched among Singapore’s elite drinking establishments, Cat Bite Club has earned its stripes as one of the city’s top bars, renowned for its inventive cocktails and exclusive vibe. With a focus on Asian-inspired spirits like rice and agave, Ambience Dim, moody, and undeniably cool, the space strikes a balance between speakeasy intimacy and modern edge. Seating is limited, making walk-ins a gamble. The 1.5-hour time limit keeps turnover high but can make the experience feel rushed for those hoping to linger. Service Good, but inconsistent. Staff are knowledgeable and efficient, though the promise of upgrading from standing to seated tables fell flat in our case, which is disappointing for a bar of this calibre. While drinks arrive promptly, the lack of follow-through on seating arrangements leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste. Food & Drink The cocktails are creative and well-balanced. Featuring unexpected bases like rice and agave, they deliver both novelty and depth. Overall Cat Bite Club excels as a cocktail innovator, offering some of Singapore’s most intriguing sips in a stylish setting. Ideal for a pre-dinner drink or a quick catch-up, but don’t expect to settle in for the night.
