Great food for the airport. Pricing is fairly standard celebrity chef pricing, but steep nonetheless. Jalapeño poppers are fantastic and the penne was spicy and fresh!

Overall it was good food. I had the pan seared fish po boy and the chocolate budino. We had time to kill here due to a delayed flight; I would only recommend if you are not in a rush.

The sesame lamb meatballs were excellent. The lobster mac n cheese was tasty however I wish there was more lobster in it. My N.Y. strip was cooked more to a medium rare than medium, but well seasoned. Service was great. I was well attended to and my undercooked meat was promptly resolved with a new steak.

Stopped here few years ago, food was very good then and very good now. Prompt service today and a very good burger comfortable seating and surroundings in terminal E. 4 star rating Todays return visit (oct 26/19) , beet salad and lamb meatballs. Meatballs were a little salty and the salad could have used more beets. Still good to stop for some different choices. Sorry down to 3 stars

With the goal of finding something delicious and unique in IAH I stopped in at Cat Cora's. Very friendly staff and a good environment. But only fair food. I ordered the fish sandwich (it had a fancier name, but in the end it was just a fish sandwich) and the sweet potato fries. The fish was of good quality but the sauce was bland and the bread was disappointing. I didn't think I would have to at a place like this but I added mayo and salt to the sandwich. For a sandwich this tasteless I would have expected to pay half the price. The sweet potato fries were great. Every single one was crunchy and flavorful. No salt, pepper, or sauce required. One of the waiters is an aspiring musician and he sang from the bar to a group of people. It was entertaining and lightened the mood, which is always welcome in an airport restaurant. Overall it was fine, but I don't care to pay that much for something that's just fine. I won't be going back.

With a 2.5 hour layover and a growling belly, I had to take the time to try Cat Cora's Kitchen. I am a huge Iron Chef fan and was so excited to eat here. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and it was so hard to choose! I went with the lamb meatballs and sauteed spinach. The yogurt sauce served with the lamb meatballs made the flavor really pop and the chile pepper flakes in the spinach gave it a nice kick. The staff here is so friendly and attentive. It was a fun way to kill some time. Some of the servers started singing karaoke style to the music playing in the restaurant. Overall, it was a really nice experience with great food (for an airport). I would come back here to try the tacos.

It's 7:30AM and I have an International flight that's not departing until 9:30AM. Now I could go to your typical fast food chain for some breakfast and sit at the gate, or I could go into this fancy looking restaurant/bar that's named after Cat Cora and have a taste of her supposedly designed menu and have myself a fancy breakfast on Christmas Day. As soon as I walked in, I sat at the bar because it seems like there's only 1 server taking care of the whole table area and she looked overwhelmed. They already have the plating and silverware wrapped in the napkin set at each bar seating along with the breakfast menu. The bartender asked what I wanted to drink and I said warm water with lots of lemon for my cold. I look at the menu and the food seems very "healthy" looking. For example, my breakfast was egg white omelette with turkey sausage. Although it's a bit expensive for what I would normally pay for breakfast, but hey, it should be good right? Unfortunately for my case, the cheese they used I believe was feta cheese, was somehow very salty and kind of ruin the whole thing. Luckily, the bartender's service was very attentive by refilling my water, giving me extra cocktail napkin from the tray to blow my nose, giving me as much lemon as possible to help my throat out. I would definitely say this is probably the highest quality restaurants in Terminal E but it could also be one of the more expensive one as well. If you want to show a lady a good time during a layover or waiting for your flight, you should take her to this restaurant for some drinks and food.

The personnel were really nice and accommodating, but unfortunately the food was really, really bad. Meatballs were salty and too garlicky even for an Italian. The lobster Mac and cheese was bland. Street tacos were very basic and below average. I had asked for the CCK burger special and I was told it is just a plain burger with lettuce and tomato unless I asked for other components. Sorry to be disappointed
