S.all hole in the wall with some flavorful pizza i had the Brooklyn and it didn't disappoint dough is soft and sauce is delicious highly recommend

The wife and I were passing through Bakersfield for the night and decided on pizza. We didn't dine in so I couldn't review the service or atmosphere. I must say this is the best pizza I've had in years. The marinara in the pizza was the correct amount and very tasty. The meat on the pizza was plentiful. I loved this pizza. We also ordered garlic parmasean wings and they were on point.

On 7/22/25 I called in a phone order for pick up. The girl that answered had the best customer service she helped me with my order and when I arrived I heard her take another call. Same professional service haven’t heard anyone else come close. This is my new favorite spot. Thank you

I've been here twice in the last month for 3 reasons: food is absolutely delicious, service is fast, staff are all friendly. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. My favorite thing on the menus is the Paisano Pizza Sub. Never had anything like it, if you want a sandwich but also pizza its the best choice. Local gem that deserves the 5 stars 🌟

Great pizza. Never disappoints. The staff if friendly and accommodating. If you’re craving pizza and have the extra $ to splurge a little, it's well worth the money.

I hate doing this. But yall have to step it up at this location. Tonight I ordered mosserella sticks on the phone to pick up as part of my order. The kid , I say kid because he is clearly young gave me bread sticks with cheese and said he thought that’s what I meant but wasn’t sure. He said I said cheese sticks. I’m pretty sure I didn’t . Regardless if there’s questions clarify. HE tried to pay for it , I told him No it’s on the business that’s not how it works. Because we all know it’s wrong to charge employees and you guys can right it off as a business loss. Regardless yall owe me 2 bucks and some change. He also forgot my artichoke which he put on so maybe yall owe me less than 2 bucks now. My salad had 1 single piece of feta. That sucked. Anyways, it’s not just him. He’s just a kid and mistakes happen but , In the last year I’ve been here for dine in and pick up alone and with my boyfriend, I’ve been with friends, and every single time there’s something wrong with the order. EVERY SINGLE TIME . Dine in you guys gave me burnt inedible potatoes logs that the cashiers agreed were burnt and didn’t look good. Picking up wise twice there’s been pizzas that were missing toppings that I didn’t notice till I was home. It’s frustrating because no one wants to drive to further locations. So can you please please please just get it together? When I got home and was asked what took so long before I could answer “she went to Cataldos” “why would you go there, they’re the worst, with getting orders wrong”. Again I love this places. Hate the service. Thanks.

Was a wonderful experience. My family comes from back east and a good ol Italian nostalgic family NY style Pizzeria with real taste is a rare thing to come by out here 🤌🏻 That being said this nailed it all the way around. I just got a place down the street and I'll be making this my go-to at least once a paycheck 💯🤌🏻

This is hands down the best pizza here in Bakersfield / Oildale. If you have a party going on, the giant pizza is the way to go. If you are dining in and they're busy, parking may be a little difficult to find. I first found out about Cataldo's when I was working at Salter labs in Arvin. If you've never had their pizza, I highly recommend them.
