"Catch is yet another breathtaking rooftop full of people who pay for their Instagram followers. This seafood-heavy restaurant was gifted to us from New York, and judging by the lines of Louboutins click-clacking their way down Melrose to eat there, the tourists of West Hollywood are exceedingly grateful for it. As for the food, nothing’s terrible, but nothing’s great. But “average” isn’t a word you want associated with a $400 experience. Proceed accordingly." - brant cox
"If you’re looking to hang out on a beautiful rooftop terrace with a giant tree growing out of the middle of it, Catch is the spot for you. They’ve got everything from sushi rolls and filet mignon skewers, along with lots of vegan options. Reservations available on their website." - brett keating
"Much like the club-travesty that is Tao and the bitter guy who still shows up at all our house parties to talk about “real art,” Catch is a place we wish New York had kept to itself. That’s not to say this ridiculously overpriced seafood restaurant is terrible, it’s just that this town already has plenty of rooftop restaurants full of people who pay for their Instagram followers. The food isn’t a total disappointment, but if you came here with the intention of taking down a seafood tower, the long line of Louboutins click-clacking down Melrose to come here should be your first indication that you got the wrong memo." - brant cox
"Perfect For: Parents Who Are (Figuratively) Younger Than You They’re already planning their Burning Man outfits and have told you three times that Kendrick Lamar is the poet of our age. Just admit defeat and have your grad dinner at Catch, where they can play Spot The Hadid and generally feel like the cool people they’ve decided they are. There’s nothing particularly great about the mostly seafood menu, but it’s also not terrible.
