All The Celebrity-Owned Bars On Broadway, Ranked - Nashville - The Infatuation

"With the largest and most professional stage, Category 10 is the place to be on Broadway for a concert. Especially if Luke Combs himself decides to put one on. We also love that they do line dancing Wednesdays through Sundays in hour and a half intervals starting around noon. Any other time, though, that main floor feels like you walked into an event space that couldn’t sell tickets and the band is on an island all its own. (Though the center hurricane light fixture and moving art installation over the dance floor is beyond cool.) The Still, a bourbon bar located on the second floor, is where we prefer to hang out, with plush couches and cigar club moodiness without all the smoke. The space right when you walk in, labeled “the honky tonk,” is more quaint, but sort of feels like a mall food court with live music." - ann walczak

Google
This was the place we went back to every night. The 2nd floor to watch the line dancing and see the lights dance in the ceiling was perfect not crowded at all. The roof top was also very nice. All the live music was 10 out of 10!

Google
Great time celebrating my birthday! Our server Christen when over the top to make our night special. Bands were so talent! Fun night of line dancing on a large spacious dance floor. Finished the night off with a beautiful view from the roof top bar.

Google
Luke's bar is beautiful. A lot of attention to detail in the construction. Looks like it is a great place to watch music especially from the huge main stage. Staff was friendly and the drinks were delicious.

Google
Best bar on Broadway. Ended up coming back after the first night to visit again. Entertainment was great. Atmosphere is unlike another downtown. Rooftop was amazing and some great views at night.

Google
Nashville pulled pork was Tremendously tasty! Luved the cabbage slaw topped on that bad boy!!! Nashville pulled pork is very different from Kalua pork which is what we prepare@ home. Had a nice lunch@ Category 10 and will be back soon. This venue was definitely busy and audience focused. The girls and I really enjoyed the music and atmosphere. Thank You.

Google
Probably the coolest venue we saw in Nashville. It's a block away from Broadway from made it even more special to get away from the crowds. We had lunch here and wasn't too busy during the week and was able to catch so live music while we ate and drank. This place is modern and very well done. Great tribute to Luke and would love to see this place in the weekend at night, got to guess it'd be hopping.

Google
I might be biased because Luke Combs is one of my favorite artists but honestly this place was one of our favorites in Nashville. They had great food, great drinks. And the best part was the line dancing. We are from Connecticut, which only has maybe two staple places to line dance unfortunately. During the day when we went, they line dancing lessons. I am not as good as my boyfriend is, but it was easy enough to jump in and learn. I get embarrassed because I feel like I’ll mess up, but there was also other people just learning too so I didn’t feel that way here. Also the light show was so awesome!! If you go up to the 2nd floor and stand looking at the stage you can see the tech guys controlling the screens and light show. I thought this was so fascinating, I swear I watched them for a half hour. I do not have experience in that kinda thing but I just really enjoyed watching them make the light show happen. We really enjoyed this place and will be back for sure!!

Google
Category 10 in Nashville, TN. is clean, good food, has a huge dance floor and cool lighting on the main floor. The fourth floor has a killer roof top bar. Tonight we had the honor of sharing the elevator up to four with musician Miller Holler. They rocked the house down!!!!!

Brad D.

Yelp
Alberlyne was amazing! Excellent food and drink suggestions. One of the best bars/restaurants in Nashville! Keep it going!

Yelp
Hands down my favorite bar I visited during my stay in Nashville! I loved the free line dance lessons. The instructors were easy to follow and it was a lot of fun. All of the bands we saw there were great and many took requests. The food was delicious. The ranch flight is a must! I visited multiple times throughout my trip and I will say that service and experience will vary. Our first night we did not have friendly service but the line dancing drew me back for another visit and Shayla was AMAZING during our dine in. Definitely a must visit.

Yelp
Cool spot! We had the rooftop reserved, which included 2 full bars, a stage, plenty of dining areas and an open floor for dancing. Food was good. Bartender was very nice! Rooftop has a nice night skyline view Take the elevator, because the rooftop is about 4-5 floors up. Many different levels that have a stage for live performances. Come visit!

Yelp
Was sitting on the rooftop for about an hour when security came around and told us they were closing it in 10 minutes. We told them we had ordered food and they said the could bring it down to the 3rd level. Mind you, the 3rd level is a rail with chairs - not conducive for sharing food amongst friends. Perhaps a better idea would have been to have a sign at the entrance to the rooftop that said it was closing at 4pm for a private event. Coming around at 345 and asking everyone to leave after we've just ordered a fresh round of drinks and some appetizers is just poor form, especially since the event doesn't start until 6pm. While I had initially enjoyed the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the bar, this was a major turn off. There's many other places in Nashville where I can spend my money...

Yelp
3 ? Why? Category 10 was hands-down my favorite spot in Nashville. I ended up here three out of my four nights in town--that's how much I enjoyed it. The rooftop bar had live music and plenty of space, though it was more laid-back with fewer people. The real action was on the main floor where 200+ people were out line dancing. It was incredible to watch, especially with the mix of a live band and DJ, plus a top-notch sound system and effects coming down from the ceiling that added to the show. Even though I don't know how to line dance (wish I did--I would've jumped right in), I had a great time hanging out. Between the drinks, friendly crowd, pretty girls, and awesome music, this place delivered the full Nashville experience. Honestly, I don't know how this place only has three stars on Yelp--it was easily a five-star experience for me.

Yelp
Love music, good beer, good food. What more do you need?! Great atmosphere and service too
google avatar

Yelp
BEST BAR- 3 tiers and a beautiful dance floor. Good food and good drinks too. My only complaint is that the AC needs to be cranked up here. This is a beautiful spot I would love to return.
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
Category 10 is beautiful! There is a room with a big screen and comfy couches to watch the game, a large dance floor to learn line dancing, and plenty of bars for drinks. The venue is very big, so be prepared for lots of stairs!
google avatar

Tim G.

Yelp
Category 10 is easily one of the better honky tonk bars in Nashville. It just off Lower Broadway, so that it is a little separated from the craziness that happens in front of most of the honky tonks. That's a big plus in my book! Category 10 is spacious with multiple floors, and I've found the service is generally good. I've not tried the food (yet), but what I saw looked surprisingly good. I'm not normally one to hit the honky tonk scene, but when I do, Category 10 is one of the nicer options, for sure.

Yelp
The Good: fun to people watch! It was so much fun to people watch on the second and third floor while you grab a drink and a meal The Bad: sticky floors. The culprit: spilled drinks! The Ugly: few dance lessons for beginners. There were very few big group lessons for beginners. You would have to watch and learn on your own with others around you. On to my next adventure...

Yelp
We came here after finding out the place across the street we wanted to go to had a 2 hour wait on a Friday night around 8. Out of desperation, we wandered into Category 10 since we were both hungry and hadn't eaten dinner yet. We walked in and our IDs were thoroughly checked, despite us both being in our 50s. I walked to an unmarked host stand that was unattended. A gentleman walked up and started cleaning menus without acknowledging me. The place was busy in the back near the stage, while the "dining" area was mostly empty. I asked him if it was a possibility to get a table for 2, he sort of indicated yes and took us to a dirty table (see pic). He walked off w/o a word. A server finally came by and we changed tables to another table that needed to be cleaned. She wiped it off. We asked her what local beers were available. She had no idea, so she went to check. The only thing "local"was from Asheville, NC - a beer from Hi-Wire. We ordered the "seasonal" beer after having our IDs checked again. We asked for a food recommendation. She recommended the waffle fires, which came out as an undercooked cold mess of limp waffle fries and unmelted cheese (see pic). We ordered the venison meatloaf to split. It was the blandest, oddest tasting mystery meat ever (and we both eat venison often). It came with some bland mashed potatoes and carrots and was topped with a tasteless tomato sauce. We managed to eat some of this spongy mystery meat and washed it down with a "seasonal " beer which appeared to be a brown ale (not seasonal in May). The band playing was pretty good, which is certainly why a giant crowd came to this place. Everything else was a complete disaster. Come for the music, not the food, or any beer that's not Bud Light or the equivalent. This place is a dump. Come for the music but get food anywhere else in Nashville. The food here SUCKS. The service is equally bad, and they couldn't care less if you're there. Our server was really nice but had no idea about the menu or beers available. She also had no training about how to serve us since we had to ask for the table to be cleaned and to get us silverware and napkins. Again, eat anywhere else...prepare for lame drinks and beer selection...and realize the staff doesn't care if you're there or not.

Yelp
As a Californian, it's not every day that I get to visit the Music City -- Nashville -- so of course I wanted to experience the vibe of every restaurant with a live band performance. This four-story music lounge bar is divided into two main areas. The first floor features a large dome-shaped space that serves as a dancing pool and live band stage. The setup allows performers to play on stage while audiences from the first to third floors can enjoy the show in a way that feels almost like watching an opera. The rooftop offers a smaller, quieter lounge bar where you can enjoy live music while taking in beautiful river views and a stunning starry sky. Meanwhile, the third floor also has an indoor area where sports lovers can relax and watch games on a big screen. As for the food, I highly recommend their braised edamame and the incredibly tasty sliced grilled steak. The environment is clean and comfortable, and personally, I really recommend this restaurant and music bar -- especially for a first-time visitor to the city. It's definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
We were there a few times with in 4 days! The first time we were there we saw John Lucas and band we had him Stumped and laughing. Did some line dancing and it was so much fun. We then came back for lunch and had Kelly she was great there were 10 of us and did not miss a beat! Everything was delicious, delivered on time, just the french fries needed to be a little bit hotter and crispy lol but otherwise everything was really, very very delicious and she did a great job because we had separate checks. Let me tell you she was right on point..

Yelp
We were in town for conference and came to Category 10 to learn some line dancing. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable, a nice change from Broadway dive bars. The ladies teaching line dance steps were professional, fun, and kept the steps basic and not intimidating. I love that there were multiple sessions of lessons! I took the 6:30pm and then 8pm. In between, they had a beautiful light show and the talented Amber Leigh performed! The cocktails were good. Food was average. Look forward to visiting again!

Tyra C.

Yelp
Really cool spot with a great atmosphere. Been here previously when it was the Wild Horse Saloon. I love how the space was reimagined as Category 10. The Ain't No Love signature cocktail was delicious, and came with a nice souvenir pint glass! Service was quick and friendly staff.
google avatar

Yelp
I remember visiting years ago when this was Wild Horse Saloon. I was so excited to see that it was Luke Combs bar! There is a huge stage and dance floor. We went on a Wednesday and there was a good amount of people. There were two lovely ladies leading a line dancing session and the band/singer, Jason Cross, was great!
google avatar

Tracy L.

Yelp
I was so excited when I saw that Luke Comb's bar was opening the weekend before me and my friends visited Nashville! The ambiance was so fun! We happened to be there when there was line dancing and we also got to see the chandelier fixture which lit up based on the music, which made it just like Omnia in Vegas. Drink wise, it was the best drink I had from all the bars! I believe I got the Sippin' on Peach. It was the perfect mix of sweet and tart. I do think it could have been a tad stronger. Even the women's restroom on the upper floor was aesthetic! I would definitely say Category 10 is one of the most aesthetic of them all.
google avatar

Yelp
All ages in our group loved the line dancing lessons. Look up the times on their website. At night they had hip hop dancing. Drink prices were standard. Didn't have any food. Fun atmosphere and the facilities are very nice.
google avatar

Genie L.

Yelp
Huge bar/venue, with friendly staff. Didnt try any of the food, maybe next time. But overall, this place is clean, new, spacious. The main floor with band and plenty of room for line dancing was super fun.

Yelp
This is for 5 leaf clover sports bar on the third floor. I'm sure this will be a 4 star place in the near future, they just have to work the kinks out. We came here to watch a Gators game and it was almost completely full, but we got lucky to get a seat at a table. I really wanted to sit in one of the comfy chairs but probably not the best seat option for eating chicken wings anyways... The ambiance is pretty typical sports bar, I like the blue lights in the ceiling and the rows of comfortable arm chairs reminds me of my favorite sports bar in Vegas. That's definitely unique for Nashville and I'm for sure coming back for those. Unfortunately the food was very uneven. The hamburger was not the best choice, it did not feel fresh, but more pre-cooked-re-heated. The bun was hard and on top of that the waffle fries where cold. The hush puppies were good and the chicken wings were a m a z I n g! The wings were perfectly crispy fried and had a spicy Sriracha glaze (apparently Luke's family recipe) that was so dang good! It came with three dipping sauces (fun!) and the Cayenne Ranch was our absolute favorite. The service was ok, but it just felt like most people there were a little lost, a little slow, a little new. So totally fixable. I'll be back!
google avatar

Liz D.

Yelp
Beautiful venue. Great service and drinks. Line dance teachers were awesome. But PLEASE book bands that play songs for the line dancers so we can enjoy the gorgeous dance floor. Floor was empty except during lessons and line dancers were disappointed. ADDED back for lunch. 90's alternative rock on stage. Band tried to sing Luke's When it Rains it Pours. At least they tried. As the venue with the best dance floor and the one people go to for line dancing it is surprising that the music doesn't match.
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
Came for a private event. This place was gorgeous! 3 floors, a moving light fixture and good drinks. There was no parking, second street is still torn up, so you must park elsewhere and walk to it. The second floor women's bathroom is probably one of the coolest bathrooms I have been to. They also have a large stage for performances, but the event I went to used a DJ. They also have a quieter area to sit at with a smaller stage in the front as you enter.
google avatar

Richard W.

Yelp
Category 10 is a great place to bring your under 21's as long as you're done before 9pm. They have a spacious second floor with plenty of tables to view either the front stage or main stage in the back (which happened to be closed when we were there) Southern Black eyed pea Hummus Served with garlicky flatbread crackers. Medium flavor strength and very tasty, likely not enough for 2-3 people. Highly recommend, as it is good til the last scoop. Home style Venison Meatloaf Smoked tomato sauce and comes with mashed potatoes and sorghum glazed carrots. As you would expect, it is a little gamey, so I knew it was authentic. This particular cut, tasted slightly old, however. Cat 10 Caesar Salad Romaine, Kale, shaved Parmesan, classic Caesar dressing, with charred baguette. Another well put together entree with a finessed dressing and fresh crunchy greens. Service and music (like so many other places) are good here. It's also down one of the side streets off Broadway so not hard to get in and be seated. That's all...

Yelp
There are a few items that don't make it a 5-star, but I really do love this place. We went there a few times since our VRBO was very close. Make sure you check on their hours because they host a lot of private events, especially on week days. First night we went there, it was busy. Had dinner at a table right next to the dance floor. That was a little weird, but fine. It was crowded and just a little awkward trying to chow down while people are line dancing a foot away from you. Our server, Victoria, was great. Why? Because when I asked for her recommendations, she was straight with us. Told us her favorites and items she did not care for and why. My husband had the Bootlegger Burger. Nothing special, but fine. I had the whole wings with apple butter BBQ sauce. Yes, a daring move in a crowded, line dancer filled bar while the band played. Let me tell you, those wings were saucy and messy. They were good. They are full wings: drummies, flats, and tips. Sweet sauce if you like that. The food was okay. That is most of the reason for not 5-star rating. Because it was crowded, we were soon joined by some fun, rowdy drunks. Had a blast with them. The band was Miller Holler. They were excellent. If you like line dancing or just want to try it out. They have lessons every so often. Check their website for times. This whole place reminded me of a Vegas-ish club. The giant light fixture over the dance floor is fun to watch. It changes colors and things slide down from it. The big screens next to the stage are pretty nice too. This is probably one of the biggest stages in any of the Nashville bars. There is an awesome sports viewing bar upstairs. It was closed when we were there, but I will check it out at some point. The rooftop bar is a refreshing change. Most of the rooftop bars have a view of Broadway. This one gives you a view of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium. The band upstairs during the day was also great. Fun place to go. Check it out. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
We came here specifically for the line dancing, and we had so much fun here! They have free line dancing at specific hours from Wednesday-Sunday. We stayed for a few line dance lessons, which were so much fun, and there was plenty of space to dance and learn some steps! My friends and I shared a few snacks, including the fried pickles, waffle fries and hush puppies. All were good! Overall, I would definitely come back here on another visit to Nashville!
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
Grand Opening Weekend! The place is gorgeous! It's also absolutely HUGE! They have huge dance floor and stage - where I'm guessing lots of concerts may be held! But that's not it! Go upstairs - cool chairs surrounding the view so you can sit upstairs and watch! There is also a sports bar with recliners! In the back there is a quieter whiskey bar! Everyone was friendly! Excited to see where the place goes!
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
Great place to visit to learn line dancing. They offer free line dancing multiple times during the day/night. Plus live music in between. If under 21, you can visit as well up to 8pm.
google avatar

Mikki E.

Yelp
I attended an exclusive party while attending a conference this week and they surly put on a show. The bartender working back in the Still was amazing. He made the best old fashion. The band performing were great and the dj on the 4th floor was stuck in the early 2000's with his music selection. I didn't eat, mostly was there for the drinks. Would recommend cause it's a nice spot and very open and beautiful views.
google avatar

Cam S.

Yelp
Okay so we walked in to check it out and the venue is one, REALLY NICE! Two, spacious and three, pristine. We walked in to a free line dancing class that everyone was enjoying. We didnt grab drinks or food but the experience of seeing the class was wonderful.
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the rooftop- very open and spacious. Service was a little slow but they may have been understaffed. Food was typical bar food- got pretzel bites, waffle fry nachos, and pepperoni rolls.
google avatar

Olivia G.

Yelp
This whole bar was such a vibe! We stopped to have a drink and listened to a live band, which did amazing covers and slayed Luke combs songs. And of course we stopped to get a t shirt because Nashville hit us like a hurricane. Will be back again, the service was great!
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Came here 3 nights of my 7 day trip and enjoyed line dancing they have 3 levels and a big open space with plenty of bars
google avatar

Dylan M.

Yelp
The service was outstanding maybe an extraordinary. The food was eating at Luke Combs house. It was so delicious. It felt like I was sitting there with him And of every bar in the local area, this is probably one of the cleanest during the daytime and sure holds up to the standard throughout the night.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband & I are huge Luke Combs fans so we were so stoked to go to his bar. Wowza, we were so disappointed! The bartender seemed like she did not want to be there whatsoever! YAY, so glad I paid Lower Broadway prices for negative attitude! We watched the band that was there ( the only positive) but left after 2 songs & 1 drink. Not because we wanted to but because they closed at 10pm despite their hours being listed as staying open until Midnight. Not cool... we would have skipped this place & settled in at a more welcoming establishment. Expected a lot more out of a place Luke Combs owns. We went to Jason Aldean's much more welcoming & way more personality!
google avatar

Ellie B.

Yelp
Awesome new bar on Broadway in Nashville. Overall design is great, service was amazing, live music was fun, and the VIP section is a fun addition that I have not seen in other bars. Will definitely be back to Category 10!
google avatar

Frances F.

Yelp
We happened upon this bar - mainly for the line dancing! They were having a *free* lesson and then more real line dancing. The lesson was fun and easy, the leaders and others (who seemed like regulars) were fun and helpful. We jumped in on a few dances where we could catch up with the steps - then got off the floor for the complicated ones and watched. We didn't eat - so not comment on the food. But there was water on the bar by the dance floor and that was much appreciated - LOL!
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
Christen is the greatest waitress! She was super attentive & made us all feel extremely welcomed. She gave us awesome recommendations for food and if did not disappoint.
google avatar

Catherine C.

Yelp
This was such a fun stop in Nashville! There's a giant dance floor and everything felt spacious despite how packed it was. The service was average, and the food was pretty good. Live music was awesome as well!
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
Our first time visiting since this spot opened a week or so before our visit. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and sat on the 2nd level near the "Still" bar. Overall, you can definitely tell they are still working out the kinks as some of the staff was confused regarding open areas, POS systems, etc. The drinks were tasty and the pickles were average. We enjoyed the music and will stop back by when in town again!
google avatar

Donald R.

Yelp
Music tonight was great! My issue is the two bartenders on second level they were real tools. Order three drinks cost over $45. One on the drinks was Amaretto Stone Sour that was overly sour. Went to bartender to ask him to fix - response was you're not suppose to taste the Amaretto. He should have just said let me remake or fix the drink. What a horrible drink, attitude and service from this bartender team.

Melissa K.

Yelp
It's sad enough that Wild Horse Saloon closed but we went to Category 10 with an open mind and hoping for a fun experience. Well apparently the dance floor is only open Thursday to Sunday!! Do the other three days of the week not matter?!?! Do the people who visit during Monday to Wednesday not matter?!?! Absolutely disappointing!!!!!

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
Service sucks! Would never return! We were never served after being forced to sit upstairs. Waited almost an hour to be served. We left and went to Kid Rocks Honky Tonk!

Mark T.

Yelp
Ted was a ripping server. Thanks for making it a great time. Love the bar you can't beat the views great bands come see it for yourself.! Thanks again, Teddy !
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
Fantastic spot for free line dancing! Was not too crowded but still bustling on a Saturday evening. The live band was awesome. Drinks are very pricey ($20 per shot), as expected from Broadway, so be prepared!

Kyle L.

Yelp
Waited over 30 minutes after being seated. No one ever came to take our order so finally left and went across the street to the Distillery. Which was great.
google avatar

Brianna B.

Yelp
Don't come for the food come for everything else! We were looking for a line dancing place that allowed under 21 y/o and stumbled across this place. SO FUN!!!! They do lessons multiple times a day and then have live music so you can put your new skills to use gorgeous venue multiple bars- will have this in our places to go every time we are in town!!
google avatar

Mel R.

Yelp
The vibe was cool, our server was friendly but y'all charged me for someone else's bill, on top of my own bill. I am unsure how you even did that because I closed my tab and then left. I called multiple times- no one answers, I messaged your "contact us" on your website- no response and for a very last resort, I messaged your Instagram, suprise- no response. There's no way to actually get a hold of anyone. I try not to hold a grudge, but if I go back to Tennessee, I am dining and ditching because you stole money from me. This all happened in December 2024, you're getting a bad review because you never attempted to make it right.

Amanda C.

Yelp
We came here for lunch after a fun morning of line dancing downstairs, celebrating my sister's bachelorette with a group of 11 women -- and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. From the start, our table was split between two different servers, which caused constant confusion. Orders were wrong or missing altogether. We ordered a second round of drinks for the entire table, but only a few of us received them. One guest never got her salad at all and was left without a meal. When we asked to speak with a manager, Evan came over -- and instead of addressing the issue professionally, he was dismissive and rude. Rather than fixing the missing drink orders, he accused us of having too much to drink and threatened to have security escort us out. This was completely uncalled for -- it was lunchtime, we had just come from dancing, and we'd only had one round of drinks. His assumption seemed solely based on the fact that we were a bachelorette party. We calmly tried to explain the situation, but there was no accountability or apology for the mistakes -- just stereotyping and poor treatment. It's unacceptable to be treated like this, especially during a special occasion. We left feeling disrespected and disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially if you're a group celebrating something. The waitress Sarah and Management, especially Evan, turned what should've been a joyful lunch into a frustrating and disheartening experience.
