"You can also get your caffeine fix sipping Biddeford-based Maine Coast Roast or relax with herbal tea from Wild Few Herb Farm at the new Catface Cafe, co-owned by acclaimed restaurateur Krista Cole. While you’re there, don’t miss treats like the Mainer, a Maine blueberry popover with maple pastry cream and vanilla sugar, from executive chef Mimi Weissenborn, who also spearheads the culinary programs at Cole’s other restaurants, Sur Lie in Portland and Gather in Yarmouth." - Stasia Brewczynski

The Biddeford sandwich I had at Catface Cafe is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had this year. The addition of maple syrup was pure genius and elevated every bite. This was my first visit to Catface Cafe, and I’m already looking forward to going back. If you’re in the Biddeford-Saco area, I can’t recommend this spot enough. The cafe has a cozy, quaint vibe that’s perfect for unwinding — I spent a solid hour there with a book — yet it’s also surprisingly spacious. They offer lunch and breakfast options. The food was excellent, and I’m looking forward to exploring more of their menu. I also have to shout out the staff. They asked for my name when I placed my order, and from that point on, for every interaction — whether they were bringing my coffee or checking on my food — they called me by my name. It’s such a small gesture, but it made the experience feel so personal and welcoming. Thank you, Catface Cafe, for the amazing food and even better hospitality.

This place is awesome! We were looking for some breakfast and found this on Google maps. We got there before they opened, and while we were discussing about going to somewhere else, possibly. One of the employees opened the door and asked us to come in and wait until the kitchen opened, but we could have coffee. It was cold so we were grateful and super impressed with the customer service. The coffee was so good. The food was very good so highly recommend this place.

It was great breakfast spot. They had a wide tranche of sandwiches with a choice for everyone and the drinks were great too. There is limited seating but it is worth it to dine-in.

I had a rough morning, and went here for a sandwich and chai. I’m so glad I stopped in. Best breakfast sandwich in TOWN hands down! Friendly, clean staff and I love the private fresh air patio they have out back. This cafe is worth checking out ! 100%

A must try if you’re in the area. I love a full menu option and available until 2! The sweetest staff and service, my local go to for a quick breakfast bite! I love their New Englander toast, the French toasts bites with ginger compote was so yummy and The Saco with lemon aioli. Brown sugar & dirty iced chai latte for coffee flavors are so flavorful!!

Google
Full disclosure, I found this place on doordash, so I can not attest to the atmosphere or table service, but they got my special order entirely correct, and the food was spectacular! Great breakfast sandwich with substantial thick cut perfectly cooked bacon, an egg cake which was almost like a super soft fluffy little quiche amounting to 2 large eggs, and fun umami flavor surprises. I also got the ban mi sliders, which were PERFECT with that fresh celantro, cucumber, carrot, and tender grilled chicken bits. They were so cutesie, and very demure. Honestly, lady like. But the stand out were the huge delicious popovers! At the same price you'd pay for two dinky mass produced donuts you could get two of these monuments to breakfast confection of bubbly dough, filled with cream cheese drizzle and covered in a house made blueberry compote. I was in heaven when I opened that take out box, not knowing what to expect. Everything was fresh, not just the ingredients and the cooking, but the menu as well. Do yourself a favor and give them a shot!

Came here for the first time this afternoon, food and service top notch, very nice folks, super casual and comfortable place to hang out with friends and enjoy!! Round one was breakfast sandwich and round two was this delicious popover. . .get it while you can!!!

We recently moved to the area and have been exploring local spots. This café is an absolute standout! $40 for two iced lattes and two breakfast sandwiches might raise some disinterest, but let me tell you, it's worth every penny. The breakfast sandwiches were so delicious that we didn’t even talk for a solid 5 minutes—just pure annihilation . The lattes were spot on too. 10/10, can’t believe this place is only 3 minutes away from us. Dangerous in the best way possible!

Yelp
We were so happy to return to Catface Cafe for breakfast. We had the French Toast Bites. This brought me back to the days when I was allowed to have pie for breakfast!! The warm apple over the toast was comforting. The LoxToast was loaded with lox pickled onions and capers. It was perfect. The staff at Catface is friendly and welcoming. A path was shoveled through the snowbank out front cutting down our walk in a sub zero day. There was plenty of parking out front. Looking forward to returning!!!

Yelp
Since my wife and I first came to Catface it has been an instant favorite for us. I would argue they have the best breakfast sandwich at least in my mind. You order at the counter and give them a name to be called out, typically your drink will come out then food shortly after. Every interaction with staff and owner Tyler have been great, no complaints. They make you feel welcome and really care about the quality of drinks and food they offer. Recently attending a Yelp elite event and coming back we got some more history of the Catface name and got to listen to Tyler speak. You could sense he had a passion for the business. During that event we also heard some new menu items that would be arriving soon. One of those being a special breakfast burrito taking use of brisket from one of their neighbor businesses Ore Nell's. I thought I heard it would be available this weekend, but in reality not till tomorrow(Sunday). Thankfully despite this misunderstanding, Tyler was gracious enough to whip up the very first brisket breakfast burrito for us to try. My wife loves brisket and we both think anyone and everyone will need to try this burrito. We both look forward ourselves to return and see how the burrito evolves and I also look forward to my favorite breakfast sandwich again! This is an absolute must try spot. High quality food and drinks (both alcoholic and not)!

Yelp
Brunch on a Saturday...absolutely delicious! So good. Great vibe. Quick and friendly service. Food is elevated. Sandwich buns are fantastic! The eggs inside the sandwiches are fluffy. The pop over is crispy on the outside and smothered in the most delicious maple cream and blueberries. So good!

Yelp
Was looking for a quick bite before going to study and we stumbled upon Catface Cafe. Parking in this area is a little tricky but there's plenty of street parking. When we arrived we were shocked about how we never discovered this place before. We ordered the Biddeford, the Saco, and the Maine popover. Everything was really very delicious. The Saco had a little too much mayo for my liking but overall delicious. The area is cute and has a nice outdoor seating to enjoy your meal. They have alcohol and coffee on their menu. Will return!

Yelp
Atmosphere is great service was fast and friendly. We ordered the breakfast BLT sandwhich , the Maine crab melt, 2 ice lattes and a mocha chip scone. Everything taste delicious the only issue was the crab melt had barely any crab meat and for $17 I think it should have a good amount

Yelp
We had a lazy Sunday morning and with it being rainy, we decided to head to Catface Cafe in Biddeford. It's SO good! We had a great chat with Tyler, one of the co-owners. He explained that some of the tables they have had feel sticky because of the varnish, so they're replacing all of them! Including a big table by the front window for bigger groups. I noticed the antique tin ceiling, too. Super cool and glad it survived all these years. Our late breakfast was awesome! Classic sandwich was a well cooked cheesy egg and bacon on a nice soft roll. My partner has the new menu item, bacon frittata. Definitely a winner! And we shared the Sat/Sun brunch sweet treat, The Mainer. A flaky popover with cream filling and Maine Blueberries! What a fantastic spot to add to Biddeford's growing restaurant scene!

Yelp
Each time we stop by Biddeford we come across another gem. Catface cafe is the latest coffee roaster and cafe in town. The space is wonderfully spacious and airy with private outside seating. The coffee is so smooth. This town takes such care with the brewing and presentation of the coffees. Apparently Catface is also a wine bar. They have a limited food menu but what we had "the Biddeford" breakfast sandwich was delicious.

Yelp
BEST CHAI LATTE I'VE HAD IN A WHILE!!! We were told by the barista that they make their chai in house. Honestly, it's incredible. The service is quick and friendly.

C D.

Yelp
Mediocre food, and self-service, disappointing, we traveled 35 minutes to try out the gluten-free items. Ambience was just ok,

Carolina B.

Yelp
Great seating! Seating options for groups. I just had espresso drinks but they were spot on. Staff was super kind and helpful.

Robert C.

Yelp
I have enjoyed coming here. I really enjoy the quality of the food and the staff are always seem happy and glad to engage with customers. Big place, wonderful decor. Looking forward to coming again! Cheers and welcome to the neighborhood!

Laura W.

Yelp
Great menu! Love the unique options and allergy friendly selections. I've never had to wait to get a seat, even for Sunday morning breakfast. I don't eat out much and have already been here twice since July.

Daniel R.

Yelp
Beautiful spot, wood themed wall with navy blue accents. Good was excellent, coffee from Maine coast roast. The "Biddeford" breakfast sandwich had a tangy orange gochujang sauce that made it stand out!

Yelp
Cute cafe. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and a miso latte. Was very tasty! My father ordered a drip coffee and said it was one of the best blends he's had in a while.

Susan L.

Yelp
I ordered their Saco breakfast sandwich. It was delicious, and for $10 an incredible buy. Scrambled eggs with turkey, spinach, avocado and lemon aioli on a potato bun, So good I'm not sure I'll try anything else. Friend had the avocado toast which she said was excellent, but wished they had toasted the bread before broiling it. Only minor complaint is I wish they had an English breakfast tea or another strong black tea. Only had Earl Grey. We will definitely be back. Had not opened their patio seating yet. That will be a nice addition when weather is warmer. Enjoyed the protected courtyard seating when it was Part and Parcel.

Jill W.

Yelp
Interesting menu, hard to choose from all the sandwiches. We five all had the lunch-type sandwiches and loved them. The novel ingredients, and combinations you will just have to try yourself! I had the crab and pimento cheese on delicious bread and really enjoyed it. They have gluten free bread which my companions said was good. Lots of drink choices as well. Staff very friendly and accommodating. You order at the counter and pick up; you eat at basic tables, benches and chairs, nothing fancy.

Izzi M.

Yelp
The Saco sandwich is delicious!!!! I also got the chai with oat milk, it was a little more milky than chai-y but still delish. The staff were so nice and the place is such a vibe!! The decor is awesome and I love all the plants!

Teresa W.

Yelp
Excellent coffee and very tasty and healthy choices for food very chill vibe and inclusive, like the dining tables together, meet other and service was on point and helpful will definitely recommend to others

Allison G.

Yelp
Well, while riding through town Biddeford looking for a quick bite, I saw the window that said Cafe!! The space is open, clean, and welcoming. You place your order, find a seat, and wait for your name to be called. Open concept, and you can see the cooks working diligently, or you can sit at a window bar and watch the traffic, and people go by outside. The food was on point!! You have to go on Saturday or Sunday for brunch and share the Mainer, a popover that was filled with a delicious maple cream and blueberries!!! It is like dessert for breakfast! The Can Melt is a good size sandwich and is filling. I p paid the popover with a blood orange Mimosa and Life Is Good!! Just stop in, well worth a try. The staff was amazing and friendly, makes it that much better!

David B.

Yelp
Great coffee! Clean spacious bathroom! Friendly service...carrot cake latte needs more cowbell... *carrot cake

Aiden C.

Yelp
Their food is delicious. They have great breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and other treats. I love the Mainer!

Christine H.

Yelp
Stellar food and really nice people. Our new fav place in town. Had The Mainer, The Classico and The French Toast Bites and all were top notch. Went twice last week. Can't wait to go again!!! Ambiance is casual and fun.

Becki K.

Yelp
Great new little spot. Might feel a little pricey, but we want restaurants and their staff to thrive, right? Yummy breakfast cocktails/coffees. Very good sandwich.

Deb K.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere! Wonderful staff! They were very friendly and gave us great input on what to order. We will be back!

Margot W.

Yelp
Wonderful pastrami sandwich on a GF roll. And great coffee from Maine Coast Roast. I will be back.

Laurie C.

Yelp
my husband and I met our daughter for a Sunday breakfast...sandwiches were very good. we ordered the blueberry popover to share...decadent and delicious. met the owner who was very nice and gave us complimentary French toast bites which were also delicious! wait staff very friendly and helpful. coffee and lattes were excellent! nice ambiance...tree themed taking the town of Saco's saw mill history into play.

Victoria E.

Yelp
Ordered takeout after hot yoga on their opening weekend. Really impressed by the avocado toast (the zaa'tar spice really slaps) and the Hemingway sausage sandwich. We will definitely be back soon! Such a great additional to the Biddeford breakfast and lunch scene.

Grace K.

Yelp
The service was terrific. The place is clean. The coffee would have been fine if it had been hot. Asking them to reheat it would alter the taste, so I didn't ask. I liked my sandwich, but it was small for the price. I wish the owners much success, though.

Eleni P.

Yelp
so good!! they just opened up and you could tell they are already going to be a neighborhood staple. The food is delicious - staple items with enough of a twist to make it gourmet. highly recommend getting the biddeford sandwich. GF folks - they have GF bread (that doesn't crumble!). The owners are so kind and you could tell that they really care about making this a place for the community. highly recommend and can't wait to come back to biddeford to visit again.

Delilah P.

Yelp
love Catface! it's hard to find a place that my whole family enjoys- but we do every time we go! fresh, natural ingredients and always some unique twist.
