Catraio Craft Beer Shop & Bar

Out of al the bars I visited in Porto, this was without doubt the best one! The person working there during my visit was absolutely brilliant, had lots of knowledge and was great to talk to. Out of all the pubs I've been to around the world, this got to be one of my best experiences yet! Great selection of beers and very cozy. Even had a beer garden on the top floor but didn't visit unfortunately. I promised to revisit before my departure but didn't manage which was really sad, I will surely come back next time I'm in Porto. If you happen to be in the city, I hardly recommend a visit here if you are into craft beers, great atmosphere and friendly staff!

Phenomenal Beer bar! They have an amazing curated beer collection for sale. They have a a large selection of beers for onsite or to go options. They have a ton of different styles and amazing flavors to choose from at great prices. Their prices are spot on definitely since some of their bottles are hard to find. The staff were super chill and incredibly knowledgeable. Overall if you love craft beer or want to experience top quality beer this is the place for you to hang.

Cool place with three different levels and two separate bars, great that they offer beer flights so you can try a good few tasters. Decent selection of local and world craft beers. Nice garden area on the top

A great spot in Porto! Has a beautiful grape vine covered roof terrace. Drinks were delicious and had the chicken wings which were great.

Good. Beer. Green space. This is perfect. We've hunted all over Porto to find good beer and yes, it's all right here. The kitchen doesn't get enough credit. Japanese fusion grilling. Everything we tried was fantastic! Can't wait to come back. Love from Canada!

This is my favorite craft pub in Porto and apparently many locals, based upon the number of recommendations I got when chatting with craft beer enthusiasts around town. It was closed my first time in Porto, but not this time. The draft selection is creative and diverse, without overrepresentation of any particular style. The selection of cans and bottles is quite large and fills multiple refrigerators. The staff is extremely friendly, speaks English, and loves talking beer. This is especially appreciated when traveling solo. Next time I'm in Porto, this is the only pub I need to visit. 🍻

I had a wonderful experience visiting this place. There was no tea on the menu, but the bartender gave me his own, which was incredibly kind and thoughtful! It was especially nice because it was cold on the terrace due to the weather. A very customer-oriented place — 10/10! Also, when we ordered beer, we received half a glass for free because it had run out. I highly recommend this place if you want to have a great time with a large group.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I stopped by on Friday, there was a DJ at the counter, the atmosphere was lively. Then I decided to come the next day, Saturday, there was no DJ and everything was kind of boring. Otherwise, the rooftop garden and beer are great, and that's why this place gets the maximum from me.

Wow! There is so many levels to this place! It's absolutely gorgeous. We did a flight, and all the beers were top notch. The service was quick, that atmosphere was very inviting, each level offered a different vibe. The owner is super cool too. Definitely check it out!

Tiered of Super Bock and it's crisp light refreshing easy drink ability? Well then head to Catraio... It does not take a lot to get the formula right for a micro brew spot. Have local micro brews, knowledgeable friendly staff, and a nice place to sit and or stand. While it's amazing how many places get this wrong Catraio does not. In fact they do everything right. My partner and I shared 3 beers from local breweries and they were all great. It's hard not to see why the Portuguese beer scene is not better known. They don't open until 5pm so it may be a good spot if you planed on having a few before going out to eat at 730pm she most of the restaurants open. The street in front is mainly for pedestrians if you can get a seat here it's great for people watching or letting your child run wild as you consume some delicious stouts.

Great selection of many styles of beers, and like 15 on tap. There is cafe style seating out front, inside seating, and a really cool beer garden with additional taps out back.

The staff was great. Fun environment! The bald guy that was working there gave me some great recommendations and the lady that worked there was pleasant to talk to! Thanks for the wonderful craft beer experience in Porto!! Cheers!

If you are looking to grab a beer in Porto and relax this is a great place to do it. There are a few tables inside and a few out front. It sounds like they are looking to have a back patio in the future, which would be awesome. The owner is super friendly and helpful. They have a number of local Portuguese craft beers on tap. Most of the draft beers come in 2 sizes (I think a few even came in 3 sizes). The store also carries many different bottles from across the globe. Would definitely recommend a stop in. The atmosphere is welcoming, we chatted with some fellow beer lovers while we sipped our chosen brews. My favorite of the Portuguese craft beers that I've tried so far is Letra (the stout, weiss and red ale were all fabulous).

I absolutely loved this place! Not only do they have a great selection of both domestic and foreign craft beers (a good amount on draft), but they have awesome service (Bia rocks!!), a cool atmosphere, and a killer playlist (something about the Stones and craft beer together just works). I highly highly highly recommend any and all to come here. There is no doubt I'll be back when next in Porto.

This little bar/bottle shop is amazing. I was in Porto for four days staying at a place on the same street and I came here each of those days for a beer or two before or after dinner. Their selections change all the time and they have a large amount of local beers including IPAs, pale ales, etc on draft. They also have a great bottle list. To top it off, all the staff are extremely friendly. They even gave me recommendations for local places to visit and dine

A craft beer shop and bar in Porto, showcasing the fledgling craft beer scene in Portugal. It has a rotating set of taps with some great beers on tap, and a huge selection of locally brewed bottled beers. There are sharing plates of cheese and hams, for things other than beer! The owners are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Great craft beers with a nice selection of Portuguese, American and European brews. They are also so friendly as to allow those not so fond of beer in your company to pick up a glass of wine in the, also very excellent, wine bar next door.

Didn't even know there was a craft beer scene here! Just had a pint here, but was really impressed!

Staff is great...Ton in particular is very knowledgeable and witnessed him being patient with folks not knowing their beers. Good selection of craft beers and the music and vivde of the place is very chill.
