A beautiful, well maintained museum & bamboo fly rod workshop with many tools that the old masters of the art used on display & still used to this day!! It's like walking back in time!! I love it!! The demonstrations are 1st class too!! Joe P.

Such a gorgeous place. The bridge may not be highly functional but wow is it beautiful. Quiet, sxenic and full to the brim with exhibits. The staff was friendly and informative. I would go just for the serenity of the atmosphere but they do offer demonstrations and teaching opportunities. I went for an event and I'm very glad I did.

'Cross The Bridge' not a bad slogan for not a bad place. Even if you're not into fly fishing I think you'll find this place interesting, even fascinating. I've watched it grow from its humble beginnings in Roscoe 40 years ago and it's still growing. Fly fishing is more than a sport, with its rich history and fascinating people who have been written about and write about this beautiful obsession. it's not just about catching fish.

Small and informative museum about a very particular subject. Exhibits are carefully chosen and the signage is adequate. I visited on a day when a "guest fly-tier" was demonstrating his process. Fascinating.

Expensive for what it is. Self guided, random assortment of localized history, the picnic areas and extended grounds that you can walk around are by far the best part. Old men hanging around I thought to help as volunteer tour guides, except that they act like you are interrupting their old farts clubhouse by visiting.

Outstanding museum with a wealth of information for the inquisitive fly fishermen (women).

Don’t pass up this place in the Catskills. A treasure trove of fly fishing gear and easy to access off of 17. Need some inspiration for a fishing trip with the crew? Spend part of the day here and you can hike around as well. Donated items from previous mountain fishermen is for sale as well; found a really nice fly tying table vice with a carrying case.
