Catzuneko Shokudo | Sushi & Japanese Dining NYC

Really love this cozy little cat themed sushi restaurant! The speciality rolls are all really good and unique, the decor is sooo cute, and the staff are very attentive. It is a smaller space but usually we are able to get a table and the food comes quick. Everything tastes fresh and well made. Will definitely be back!

A friend of mine suggest me to come here and this restaurant just open few months but i give everything 5 stars! the fried Calamari and the Crab Meat fried rice was awesome! Definately going to come back here for my next trip. Place very cozy and chill. Design and decoration bring calm and peace. Price for meal afordable and cheap for the portion. Looking foward to bring my friend to come and enjoy the delicioso food!

Came here with my boyfriend and we ordered the sushi and sashimi combo, everything was a total wow factor!!!! 🐠🍣 The toro especially stood out, so fresh and buttery, but honestly every piece was amazing. 🎏The presentation was beautiful and the fish quality was top notch. Presentation is so nice that for us it felt special almost like an intimate omakase. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and our server was patient and caring about explaining what we were going to eat. The service was excellent, it’s also cat themed! 🐈🐱 Perfect spot for a date night or just to enjoy incredible sushi. ❤️Highly recommend! Hoping to come back and try the sashimi pizza!!!

What a cute Japanese eatery with a cat theme! We came here during its soft opening and it didn’t disappoint. The chirashi bowl was very fresh and tasty, and the service was prompt and friendly. Price overall was very reasonable. Excited to try more dishes here.

Adorable cat themed cafe near time square! We enjoyed picking out the cute kitties on the decor. The food is fantastic - the fish is fresh and the signature sushi rolls are delightfully savoury and saucy without being too much. The tempura that came with udon was crispy and and had lots of variety. You can really see the care put into the food. 9.5/10

A hidden gem in this big city at 39th street!! We truly enjoyed our lunch today - food was so fresh and in generous portion, super impressed with this place which only just opened 2 months ago. The service was great and staff were friendly and warm. Keep up the good work team at Catzuneko! We will definitely be back when we visit NY again. Jumpa lagi 😊

Dear sushi and sashimi lovers ~ this is a must visit restaurant. one of the best Japanese restaurant that I visited. all the sushi were super fresh with reasonable price. Lunch set offer is crazy good. A lot of vegetarian choices as well that you should try. Must visit times square restaurant in New York. Can not wait to come back and try other dishes.

OMG!!! I have tons of stuff to say about this restaurant. first the food !!! FOOD!!!!!! the quantity , quality, price , display all 5 stars. Fried Calamari !!! MUST TRY !!! I even ordered twice!! perfect with beer. The restaurant itself was just adorable !! I was happy to find this Japanese restaurant next to times square. Lunch set offer is So So good that you shouldn't miss. Haven't visited this good quality, quantity food Japanese restaurant with various vegetarian options. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
