Cauley Ferrari of Detroit

After a rather unfortunate incident at the DTW parking garage, a little fender bender left me in need of some car repairs. Cauley is only one of few Tesla-certified service centers in SE Michigan. It’s not the closest to me, but had appointments much sooner than the two-month waiting list for the Southfield Tesla location. Not having your primary vehicle for a week is already a cause for stress on top of the myriad of problems that go along with car repair. Will the job be done well? Will the new parts match? Will I get my car back in a reasonable amount of time? Thankfully I can now say the answers to all those questions is “yes”. The car looks great, better than when I dropped it off. The repair took about 5 days, and I picked it up on Saturday morning (when traffic is much better), thanks to Larry, the primary Cauley employee I interacted with. And speaking of which, special shoutout to Larry. He not only answered all my questions, but went out of his way to take me to the rental car pickup and even dropped off the car when I was done! He ensured I could pick up my car on a weekend and made the whole process much smoother due to his effort. Definitely recommend this place!

Honest to god the “temporary” parts manager guy NEEDS. to become the permanent fixture there. He is truly the essence of what the Ferrari brand is meant to represent personified. It’s as if the Prancing Pony has taken human form once again. I cannot tell a lie, no one has done it like this kid since perhaps Enzo himself. From the way he carries himself, conducts himself with customers, down to the smallest detail he truly is above and beyond… EXCEPTIONAL. Even his sunglasses cases exude class. I am a Ferrari customer because of him. Thank you. EDIT: Larry from Tesla service, the finance guy, the reception lady (cute one), and the guy who gave me a pen are all LEGENDS in the flesh. And super nice. They simply don’t make them like that anymore - they are cut from a different cloth. All in all this review is the embodiment of what AI cannot replace just as th parts guy embodies the essence of the brand itself, fundamentally. Lastly, I’m a Taurus and always considered myself a Lamborghini guy because of the reliability and somewhat practicality of the Urus and considered Ferraris a little opulent but I understand not. My experience was far more than any other body shop. I am extremely picky person considering I am a professional Auto Detailer, The shop took care of my Honda like if it was worth 500+! The paint work in my rear bumper was done so well that they did three spray outs to match my color! They also let me wash my own car after it was finished! I felt like I was treated with royalty! I highly recommended there shop for all paint work! Larry did such a great job emailing me back and fourth keeping me updated on my Civic! Definitely well preserve body shop for the obsessed enthusiast!

Wonderful experience with Cauley Collision. My Cybertruck was hit by a deer in early November, which left the front bumper cracked. A friend recommended Cauley since the Tesla body shop was fully booked until the end of December, and I’m so glad I went with them. Larry C. was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. He worked directly with my insurance company and took care of ordering all the necessary parts. I was able to drop off my vehicle right before leaving for my trip to Florida and picked it up as soon as I landed back in Detroit — everything was perfectly timed. The entire experience was seamless, and they even returned my Cybertruck cleaned inside and out. I couldn’t be happier with the service and results. Highly recommended! 🚗✨

Had our Tesla fixed here after a collision and they did a great job! They went out of their way to help us out with things that we did not expect them to. It was a really nice and easy experience working with. And you get to visit a Ferrari dealership! Highly recommend going here for body work with your Tesla.

Very professional, did great job with repair. Detailed the car complementary. Mike went above and beyond, drove me to my rental, then at the time of picking up my car Larry called Enterprise to come get the rental car. Highly recommend !

Amazing service here at Cauley Ferrari. I came in to fix my Tesla Model 3 that was involved in an accident and Larry and Mark took amazing care of me. Very responsive and went above and beyond!!! Car was repaired way faster than expected as well.

I bought a used car from Cauley and I was absolutely amazed at the level of service I received. Tom Shugars was my salesman and he and everyone else I interacted with was knowledgable and top notch at what they do. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience and would be happy to return to them for service or another purchase. Best car dealer experience I've ever had by FAR!

I walk in trying to buy a 400,000 dollar car and I'm in there for 30 minutes before someone even talks to me and they won't even let me test drive because maybe I don't look like I can afford a car? Place is junk selection was trash

I purchased a pre-owned Ferrari from Cauley and am extremely pleased with the level of customer service during all stages of the purchase process, including door-to-door transport to my house ca. 2 hrs from Detroit. They provided a thorough introduction to the Ferrari marque, comparisons of current/past models, and even estimations of maintenance costs per year. Their service department is also first-rate, with some of the most talented technicians in the country. It is always a pleasure to deal with Joe A. et al., who provide unmatched customer service that is thorough and reasonably-priced (for Ferrari!) with frequent updates on the status of the vehicle while in the shop. I am confident that my vehicle will be taken care of like it was their own, and only needed repairs will be done (no upselling of services/parts like many dealers tend to do these days).

One of my favorite dealer in all of Michigan! I recommend both either Tom Shugars or Aaron BamBach! They are both great people to speak with. If you are in the market for a Ferrari head on down to Cauley for whichever model you desire.
