Great place to grab lunch in the bustling UsC village. Super fast and friendly service, Fresh ingredients and food, super convenient! Tyler is also the best cashier, always a smile on his face, ready with a friendly greeting!

CAVA definitely does the job when you’re hungry on campus. I’ve eaten a few times here, and I’m not a fan of the way ordering online makes your food look like it was made blindfolded. Anyways, I recommend this CAVA over any of the other USC village restaurants.

Esther absolutely made my night. I am having the worst vacation of my life, and she really brightened up my entire day with her positive energy. I came quite literally 30 minutes before close and I felt so guilty but all the workers were kind and diligent. The food was delicious, as I took her recommendations for items because it was my first time at CAVA. Once again, thank you Esther! And I hope our team recognizes your energy!!

Never get any orders right from this place , asked for extra chicken and 2 extra orders of pickles just to be absolutely disappointed easily the worst cava to exist Im sure the only reason their still in business at this location is bc its in the middle of USC 😭 too too off the disrespect I order extra chicken and got half sized portion with about 9 leaves of Romane lettuce 🤣 forever forced to have to drive to long beach or Culver city for Cava

I placed my order to go, recommend by the admission tour guide. It was to be ready at 1:15 it is now 1:50, still no food no explanation. Horrible. Suggestion have someone go to the mainline to prepare, otherwise if I went an ordered there, I would have got my one bowl and Seoul’s be gone. Still waiting..,,,,

The sauce was too salty, and I added more spinach myself afterwards. I ordered the classic avocado one, but I recommend making your own bowl more.

The smell of this place is Crazy! I love it here! The Blueberry soda is absolutely delicious 😋 and The Spicy Harissa chips are my fave

CAVA is better than CHIPOTLE !!! I'm on the cava grind and it's so addicting. I highly recommend trying this place out a couple times to figure out your go to bowl. Tzatziki and red pepper hummus are my go to dips!

I've always gone to this Cava location, I am deeply concerned about the behavior of employees associated with this Cava location. Recently, some staff members were seen protesting and demonstrating highly inappropriate conduct, including threatening comments about food safety. Additionally, during recent events in Los Angeles, these individuals were reportedly engaging in disruptive and dangerous behavior, including riding around and screaming at law enforcement officers while making racially charged remarks. This type of conduct is unacceptable and raises major concerns about safety, professionalism, and community standards. I strongly recommend that management and corporate leadership address these issues immediately, as they do not reflect the values customers expect from a reputable establishment.

I was at Cava in the USC Village a few weeks back and forgot to leave a review till now! The restaurant was busy but the food was excellent and worth the wait. The service was solid as well!

Make your own Bowl Never go wrong and the drinks are incredible and the drink the cucumber mint lime is my absolute favorite. You cannot go wrong making your own bowl. I put a little bit of everything saffron rice from the splendid greens, honey harissa grilled chicken make it your own.

5/5 Lines out the door just like most things at the village but they manage well One of the workers did have an attitude, we never had it but pass by it all the time and decided to give it a try, allow grace to those not sure what meats to order ect This is like chipotle but 10xs better haha

Had heard that cava was similar to sweet greens so wanted to try it when I was visiting LA. We found out there was one at the airport and decided to try an LA exclusive over jersey mikes. There was only about 5 people infront of me but the line was crazy with online orders or so on, so it felt like a lot longer. If I could do it again I would do the online order as it was a lot of waiting that I didn't expect. They also messed up my order as I ordered a harissa avocado which comes with standard chicken but for some reason they gave me steak, they did quickly fix it when I asked but it as a bit annoying. I get to be expected with airport service . Cava is located in a a sort of food court with lots of open tables with multiple restaurants in the same area. Overall it was good, and I would try it again at a non airport busy spot as it would probs have better service, no diss it's just to be expected at a busy airport.

Came here several times between 2019 and 2024. No seats inside, lots of outdoor seating. First time I came, they were very patient with telling me how to build my own bowl. Food was solid no matter what I ordered. I have to say I prefer the saffron rice over the veggie base, and the falafel was a bit dry one time. Meal came with a piece of pita bread.

First off, The food here is amazing! Healthy and delicious. But so far both times that I've eaten here I've had problems with the service. The first time I came here with my girlfriend. It was busy at the time and she felt rushed so when they asked her what two proteins she wanted she could only decide on one. But instead of offering her both portions to be the same protein or just giving her two scoops of the same, the server only gave her one portion. I was ahead of her in line so I didn't see this happen but when we sat down to eat I looked at her bowl and it was significantly smaller than mine and she told me what happened. I paid for a full bowl but she received half. The second time my girlfriend ordered a bowl for me when I was recovering from surgery. When the food arrived neither of the two sauces that I wanted were in the bag and neither was the free pita. Sauce is a big deal with these bowls! It's half the flavor! The sticker on the bag lists both sauce sides and the pita so whoever packed the bag just wasn't paying attention. Again the food here is great and if you walk in and pay attention to what they are doing you won't have either of these problems. I'm just a little disappointed that both times I've eaten here I paid for something that I didn't get.

Busy as hell.. and its slow as hell but I mean its good as well. So that's it. Insert your typical CAVA experience.

Definitely never ordering ahead, which is such an inconvenience because the line is always so long here! Portions are so so so tiny. The food doesn't even take up half of the bowl. Asked them for extra super greens because there was at least one piece of lettuce in my bowl and she only put another 5 strands of lettuce in my bowl. The positive attitude from them was not there either.

The food at Cava is a great choose-your-own adventure mix of Mediterranean fare that fits all dietary needs, from meat-lovers to vegan to gluten-free. If you're looking for a spot in University Village that will suit a group, this is a great spot. Highly recommend the black lentil base, which adds a richness of flavor and extra protein to any dish. Check out the roasted white sweet potatoes (while they're in season), pickled onions, and the "crazy feta" dip -- which is a creamy and well-seasoned savory treat to garnish any of their signature bowls. Parking is free in the underground structure for up to 2 hours with validation, obtained by scanning a QR code in the business and entering your license plate number. The service is friendly and very fast. Spotlight on employee Hailey, whose helpful service and welcoming attitude are beam of light that will brighten your day.

I'd call this place the Mediterranean version of Chipotle without Chipotle's stinginess. You make your own bowl here, choosing from a variety of bases (saffron rice, regular rice, romaine, greens blend, etc). Then you choose a variety of dips (red pepper hummus, roasted eggplant) and proteins (lamb, honey chicken, grilled chicken, falafel, etc). Then toppings and sauces. And of course, get the pita on the side. I appreciate how much chicken they scoop onto the bowl - it's double what Chipotle puts. They also have a huge selection of toppings and extras that make your bowl fun and flavorful. I've tried many combinations of bowls and the one thing I'd say is that the flavor profile is capped. Like, you know what to expect and it's as good as it gets no matter the combination. Maybe changing the meat will make it 10% better, but overall the flavor profile is pretty standard. Love this place for a post-gym, light meal that won't make your stomach feel terrible. Huge portion too, I always save half. The flavors are great and you really can't go wrong with anything you order here.

I absolutely love the salad bowls here. They have vegetarian and regular bowls. This is a better and healthier Chipotle with a plethora of options to customize from. Healthy, vegetarian options, build your own bowls.

Food was delicious, I'm vegan and they have enough options to keep you satisfied. Things clearly labeled so you can tell what is and isn't vegan. The ambiance was chill. I think the people that work there create the culture and vibe and I wasn't disappointed. Madi and Rai provided the best service you could ever ask for! I went there twice within two days and saw them both and their attitudes and energy was just as good as the day before! Great customer service, beautiful energy of the whole staff to be honest! I'll be coming back to rack up my rewards for sure!!

I do not understand the point of ordering an hour ahead and your food still not being ready. It also doesn't help that the lead has not urgency when checking for orders and/or preparing them. I noticed my order wasn't even started until I flagged him down which was ten minutes after my original pick up time.

I got the greens and grains bowl. For my protein I did the chicken. I love customizing my own bowl and switching it up. With all the different toppings the combinations are endless. The food is always so high quality. We have never been able to eat there because it's always packed. People sit at the tables before they order. The soft drink machine is always over flooded with ice and hardly ever working. I really like their cucumber water.

First time CAVA visitor and future full blown fanatic. I would categorize this as a sweetgreen/chipotle but make it Mediterranean. The line can be long, I've skipped before because it was out the door, but the customization of the orders here is so good that i already want to go back. I'm so happy they are opening a Hollywood location soon!

Disastrous order! Asked for no rice and chicken, got steak with no rice. Everyone's order was wrong! Portions were tiny. Refused a refund. They even gave my gluten-free friend gluten! Incompetent, wasteful, and dangerous! Apparently, workers can't read.

Great food and wonderful service today. It was fresh and they give me enough today at this time of the day. When I go early during my lunch break, customer service is blah, portion is very small and i leave there with a below average experience. But today, they was impressed by the great customer service and I decided to write a positive review about the workers in the afternoon. Thank you very much Cava team for the improvement .

First time ordering CAVA and I really like the nutritional aspect of the restaurant. It was good and lots of different variations of bowls and wraps accessible. I personally prefer chipotle rather than cava due to meat portions, overall taste, and simplicity. CAVA is good though and provides lots of different flavors and potential.

I ordered online. I spent $32 on this order which included a drink. With the cost of food this including groceries, you'd like the cost to be spent in a long way. I did not get the amount purchased. As you see who ever prepared this order did not fill the bowl. The food didn't even reach the fill line that's designated inside the bowl. This is disappointing. I should receive a partial refund for partial serving of food. Also, I didn't receive all the extras for the bowl. What a disaster. I would have like to received a safety sealed drink. Hopefully the drink wasn't contaminated by the driver.

Delicious and healthy tasting! I loved their bowls and hummus with the pita bread. The price wasn't too bad but the portions were ok. The lettuce with everything else in the bowl was great but the main attraction was their unlimited Jasmine tea! It was delicious with the bowl.

For the last three days in a row I have been ordering through the app and the USC Village location is the worse location by far it's really the only location I have visited and ordered from online the more I order it gets worse and worse every time their customer service sucks the manager Austin extremely rude my order have been completely wrong 3 whole days in a row it was as bad as getting someone else's order it's ridiculous and when you call the store they go as far as screening calls and completely not answering ignoring your calls this is ridiculous I think you guys are going to lose me as a customer especially if I don't have a choice on ordering from a different location and please make it where we can order our dips on the side without having to pay also I am extremely disappointed and I am afraid to order again because I'm almost sure my order will be wrong‼

I've never been to a fast food place that is so good and healthy as this place I didn't order the food I ate but it's so good that I wish I live nearby Highly recommended And if I'm in SoCal again I will definitely go back

Wow one of the best salads I've ever had. So unique and tasty. Friendly fast service. And it's next to the USC campus so it's like you're hanging out with the college crowd. And it's a beautiful environment to be in.

My favorite place to get a pre gym meal :) The service is always quick and efficient. The food is always good and never leaves me disappointed. I highly recommend to anyone that wants to try something new!!

Despite its raving reviews, I unfortunately fail to find myself a big fan of Cava. Their options for protein were all lacking before they added steak to their menu, the chicken was always looking dry and crumpled, and the lamb meatballs only come with 3 despite paying extra for them. The sauces are a little too heavy but the bowl is too dry without them, the condiments like the pickled onion are a little too sweet or leave something to be desired. All in all, I'm maybe just not the biggest fan of Cava since it commercializes Mediterranean cuisine while also stealing from Chipotle's intellectual property. I definitely do come every once in awhile when the people I'm with absolutely decide we must eat here, but I wouldn't come of my own volition anymore.

Very much understaffed! There is only 2 people making bowls for the 30 people in line. There should at least be a 3rd. So our wait in line is forever! And why is no one ever in a good mood at Cavas. What they aren't known for is good customer service that's for sure.

There was a bit of a line when I arrived but that makes sense given it is in a university campus. The wait was about 5 minutes before I was able to order. I ordered the Crispy Falafel Pita and added corn, and cucumbers. It was amazing!! So flavorful and the falafel was soft and warm. The set up of the store resembles chipotle, a long bar style seating with stools. Btw, the campus is currently gated off to the public due to protests, I had to jump the fence to get in but this may be avoidable somehow.

I love this place, come here all the time! 10/10 would definitely recommend! My favorite is the build your own bowl and the pita chips. so many options and all for a good price! Also, good customer service always and the establishment is always clean.

Cava is a place I would categorize as a higher end fast food chain and is the Mediterranean version of chipotle. Don't get me wrong, I love chipotle but I'm so glad that CAVA paved the way for quick Mediterranean food because dare I say it's better than chipotle! The flavors and sides are all so fun and unique and you really feel like you're getting a good bang for your buck while eating slightly healthier! It's also such a good university student in a pinch moment or picnic food! Whatever the situation, I can safely say they've got you CAVA-rd!

Love coming here! The staff is really nice and the food is outstanding not to mention healthy. There's not much seating area but the sitting bar is accommodating.

This is like a chipotle but Mediterranean style . This place is sooooo good and fresh I could eat this everyday .

Every single time I order delivery from this store, they mess up my order. Usually they forget ingredients, 99% of the time they don't add dressing making the bowls bland and flavorless. Today was the first time in over a year that I ordered .. and I never will again. My bad for thinking it would be a better experience.

So delicious! Got the Greek Bowl and a side of pita/crazy pita and every bite was super flavorful. My bowl came heavily sauced, but I didn't mind because I had the pita to use up the extra sauce. The portions are also really deceiving; I was really hungry and was happily satisfied at the end of my meal. Will definitely come back for a quick, tasty bowl.

I wish the workers had gone a bit slower and not just thrown the toppings onto the bowl and all over the counter. Coming to an establishment with dirty counters isn't appealing.

The speedy rush you out at this location on Hoover, I do no like. I understand it's on USC campus but There's not many around so I have no option but to come to this one. The one in Long Beach is pleasant they do not rush, but still get it done in timely manner. The USC location rush you so much you forget things you want and feel ignored when telling them what you want. It's always jammed packed with a 10-20 minute wait outside the door. The door, you have to stand and hold it open because there's one way in, one way out. With the door closed and your standing near it, you will for sure get hit by the door, because you cannot see inside clearly from outside. The food is still yummy and flavorful. Just need another door asap.

I discovered Cava only about 1.5 weeks ago but I've gone 4 times already, different locations each time. The food is really great! Some standouts include the braised lamb, harissa honey chicken, and pretty much all the toppings and dressings. For dips, you can't go wrong with a classic tzatziki! Red pepper hummus, eggplant dip, and harissa are solid options too. The setting is simple but cool and seems to be consistent across the different locations. So, the overall vibe will really depend on the location you go to. The best people watching for me has been this location (USC Village), and I liked Santa Monica for overall scenery. The main reason I decided to write the the review for this location rather than the others however, is the service. I came in a couple nights ago, on Memorial Day. To be clear, the service has been good at each location, but the service at this location was superb! I came in later in the evening, and almost didn't go at all because it was a bit closer to closing time than I was comfortable with. I've managed bars and restaurants for more years than I care to admit and I know how annoying that can be for some employees; so, I wasn't expecting a particularly warm reception. However, I was totally wrong! The staff here is super chill! I was helped by Sebastion and Gustavo who were both charismatic and accommodating. They're both just really genuine and customer-service oriented guys. I'd hire both of them in a heart beat! I didn't interact much with the rest of the staff, but that cool vibe does seem to be consistent across the board from what I could tell. I was particularly impressed with Sebastion and Gustavo though, go check them out! Tasty food, great staff, fun area... Highly recommended.

The food is great! It is for sure like a Mediterranean Chipotle, but with higher food quality. I had great customer service by an employee named Diego twice! He provides great portions and good recommendations. The ambiance is welcoming and the staff are nice!

I had an unfortunate incident with their front entrance door, which I would say had a design flaw with it being way too light. I was wearing sandals, and the door rammed straight to my big toe. It cracked my nail and left it bloody as seen in photo- later bruised. I opened the large doors with normal force, but again the doors were unusually too light. This happened back in June 19, 2019 around 3:19 PM. I told and showed the manager of what had happened. He seemed protective of himself and the business, and made me sign a document, and assured me that someone will reach out to me. He didn't say a word of apology or anything else. I'm here to inform CAVA and fellow customers that absolutely no one had reached out. I am making this review today, as I can say that this incident had prevented me from participating from a tournament that I had been training diligently for only having to pull out. Being an athlete, I can say that seemingly small incident deeply impacted the trajectory of my athletic endeavors. I am upset that no one had reached out to me till this day.

Cava is great and so is this location! If you have not had Cava, you have gotta come. My 16-year-old and I absolutely love Cava. We were at USC for a few days and ate here every day. You get to have your cake and eat it too! Absolutely delicious food and healthy! You can order anything you want the way you want it or order their creations. They even have basmati rice! The ingredients are super fresh and even the avocados are quality. I read the Yelp reviews on here and there are a bunch of weenies crying about having to wait. This spot gets super busy. Of course you will have to wait. The weenies on here whining about waiting should reach deep into their pockets and whip out a hand full of patience. Go get fat at Mc Donalds if you feel a need to complain about waiting. I am 100% a fan of Cava and this location. I actually need to give a shout-out to the employees for handling so many customers nicely and treating everyone so nice. This place gets super busy but is crazy good!!!!!!!!

I normally have the best experiences here, but not today! They didn't send my pita chips, they didn't add the ones on the inside of the wrap and there's avocado peels inside of the wrap! I'm done with this location! Back to Culver City I go!

I visited this place last Sunday and there was a decent amount of people in line. The workers are fast and effective, they knocked out the line in no more than 5 min. The food was amazing, tasted like it just came off the grill... FRESH. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a CAVA with good customer service.

I love Cava but this location is NOT it. It's probably the worst location I've been to; perhaps, it is a victim of its own success b/c there is always a long line out that door that moves insanely slow. I got in line around 2:15p and finally ordered around 2:50p. Food was fresh and filling though (consistent with other locations), so I guess it is up to you whether 30+ mins of wait time is worth it for fast casual food. I stopped by b/c I was already at the Amazon lockers for errands, otherwise I would recommend ordering ahead online (and maybe giving it an extra 10 mins just in case).

Cava is like the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. The food is always super fresh and incredibly favorable. I really love their make your own bowls and really enjoy the food that you can eat here!
