I loveeee this location 😍 the food is always great and most importantly fresh! The employees were really friendly specially Eva! She was very nice and veryyy welcoming. It has become one of my favorites spots and I will definitely going to come back again!

Always great to come to this CAVA in mosaic. Not only is the food good, what really stands out is the great customer service. Everyone is friendly and just amazing. Sarah is always pleasant and she makes sure everything is good. Her whole team is great! Just try this place if you haven’t already and you’ll definitely keep coming back!

Their customizable ingredients are always fresh and delicious. Our bowls were very good, but the server was a little "shy" with the proteins.

I always receive great service from many CAVA locations in my area, but this one stood out the most. The team was excellent—fast and punctual. Sandra is a great employee and made me feel very welcome. I will be coming again.

I ordered my Spicy Chicken and Avocado Pita from this Mediterranean restaurant for lunch. Overall, the interior was dark, with a clean seating area and some hanging glass bottles on the ceiling for decoration. The cashier area and counter were clean and tidy as well, and upon ordering my lunch, a staff assembled pita bread and added ingredients to it. It was made with hummus, avocado, pickles, fire-roasted corn, crumbled feta, pickled onions, harissa honey chicken, and hot harissa vinaigrette, which had a subtly sweet flavor combined with hot sauce, and the pita bread was fresh and chewy, which I like. The food was similar to a breakfast burrito but with different, healthy, and tasty ingredients. I will return to try other dishes on the menu as the food was delicious.

Stopped by CAVA Mosaic today and had such a good visit. The team was welcoming and quick with service, and everything tasted super fresh. Sandra was especially kind and helpful — he made sure my bowl came out just right and had a great attitude the whole time. It’s always nice when the staff make the place feel friendly. Definitely coming back soon!

Loved the freshness of the veggies. You love your salad when you can smell the ingredients and enjoy it more when the taste is no where close to the regular Mediterranean food you have been eating so far. Soft falafels n the rich hummus experience wants me to visits this place again and again and yet again. Thanks for the quality & an appealing ambience !

I had an amazing experience at CAVA thanks to Jemeni, Teti, Emily, and Roberto. Their customer service was honestly excellent — super kind, patient, and incredibly sweet the whole time. I had no idea I had a CAVA addiction until they shut down for two months this past spring to undergo a renovation. Every time I had a hankering for a quick, healthyish meal I would remember they were closed and then end up making bad financial or health decisions. So needless to say, I am so happy they are back! Their new digs is lighter, brighter, and more easy to navigate and their prime location next to the Mosaic lawn makes it the perfect pit stop for summer picnics. For those looking for a light meal, their kids meals are the best! I am also in love with all their prepared dips which you can buy by the tub at the nearby Mom's Organic. Truly the best fast casual spot in Mosaic!

New renovations to the store are modern and make it easier for pick-up orders by the front entrance. Store is a little smaller and has less seating, it is usually busy with customers around lunch and you can expect a line of in store orders but it moves quick. Food always tastes fresh and I usually don't have an issue with portions. CAVA is a popular post-workout meal at Mosaic District.

Great food spot when you are looking for fast, healthy, and delicous food and salad. I ordered some salad with sauce and it was creamy, crunchy, and delicous. Sevice was amazing and ambiance was decent. Would come again!

Cava had great service. It gives off a speak easy cool ambiance. Walter and tety are one of my favorite workers they always are attentive and patient with customers. Love the food always fresh would definitely recommend for a hangout spot

I love Cava, and I was so stoked to find out that there is one so close to where I normally am during the week. Unfortunately, this location does not meet expectations. So many things fell below normal expectations of Cava: service was awful; portion was small; taste was lacking; missing side pita (LOL)! The best thing about this location is that the parking is free in the garage, just gotta find a spot! There was no greeting when you come in and walk up to the service line; not really a big stickler for this, especially if it's busy. It is telling, though, with the rest of the experience. The server that was helping me was okay: she wasn't mean, per se, but I could feel the attitude. She was really stingy: I would ask for a double scoop on something and she would do 2-quarter scoops so I essentially get 1/2 a scoop total. It's very comical; it was like she didn't think I would notice. The whole dish was so bland; where mediterranean food is normally bursting with flavor, the grain bowl literally did not taste like anything. The pita strips was so stale and not crunchy at all. There's no need to try this location. I would opt for a different restaurant or a different location.

Great food, great service. The staff was cleaning while I was eating. Love that! The store is also really beautiful too and the seating is comfortable. My favorite place to grab a quick bite.

I have been going every Saturday morning and they are very helpful and understanding. This is a very helpful especially when I go by myself with my two toddlers

I love CAVA. It is a great place to pickup, and it is priced pretty well. I typically get a bowl with white rice and arugula, two tzatziki dips and one crazy feta, chicken, pickled onions, tomato and cucumber, tomato and onion, cabbage slaw, cucumber slices, pita crisps, feta, the hot harissa vinaigrette, and the yogurt dill dressing. I also like the harissa honey chicken, which has really great flavor, but it does cost a little extra, so I don't always get it. The only reason I decided to give this place 4 stars is because they sometimes forget things, like they forgot my sauces for my pickup order (I ordered them on the side), which was disappointing. Also, they can be pretty inconsistent with portion sizes. Overall, CAVA is a great place to grab a relatively healthy dinner quickly.

Went in and the place was very nice and clean. My bowl with white rice, chicken, chips and avocado were very very delicious. The worker there named Josue was kind and welcoming. Overall a 5 star for having no flaws and difficulties!

We come here only because it's the closest Cava to us. However, there's a huge difference in quantity when we dine in vs when ordering ahead for pickup. The portions for pickup are quite sad. Not to mention, I always select to utilize a bag and yet, the food is never in a bag and we have to always ask once we're there. Stingy! Lastly - more often than not, the salad leaves tend to be bruised/not as fresh as other locations.

Walter and the team at Cava save me at least 2x a week after my workouts. They're always friendly, efficient, and hard working. The food is also always clean. Cava is a good go to but some locations can be a hit or miss. This location never misses thanks to the team.

Standard to other CAVAs. I enjoy the different unique juice options here. Clean space and nice workers. Also convenient to order from the app and pick up. The pita chips are addicting and I never leave without an order of them. I enjoy their chicken and meatballs and the variety of sauces and options you can choose to make your bowl. You can either do all rice or half rice/half salad or all salad. Similar to Chipotle where you can see the options and you tell the staff what you'd like. Fast and makes me feel somewhat healthy when I come here.

My daughter and I went in for lunch this morning. majority of the employees are rude and very tight with the serving size given the cost of the food. I have been to other Cava's and haven't encountered the same behavior from employee.

Used the app to order lunch and food was ready when promised. Tough to find parking out front for a quick pickup even though there are dedicated spots. Seems like you get a bigger bowl if you walk thru the line b/c my take out bowl was kinda sparse. No need to return

Quick and fast service as soon as they opened. I was the first one and everything was hot and fresh. Second time here the Manager Manuel , and the crew ... Walter, Xenia, Derin guided me to the chicken pita which was great! ( Just needed little bit more chicken). Store was very clean and everything appeared to be in working order. Service was also fast as I watched about 15 people line up behind me , which all got served in about 5 minutes. Second time here and will be back.

Love Cava! It's my go to fast food if there is one near. My kids really like it too. It feels much healthier then other offerings and I really wish we had one just a little closer.

The best fast casual option in Mosaic, in my opinion! (And also the best Cava in the area. Yes, there is a definitely a difference between them.) The concept is simple: it's like a Mediterranean chipotle, except some of the meat costs up to $2 extra, and you have to pick only three spreads. Other than that, it's unlimited toppings, and you can get a pita on the side the same way you can get a tortilla on the side at chipotle: fo free. Here's my order: Greens and grains bowl with white rice, super greens, and lentils 3 spreads: crazy feta, eggplant and red pepper hummus, harissa (it's hot!) Chicken (or if I'm feeling rich, something braised.) Every topping ever. Yogurt dill dressing. (Or sometimes I flip flop and get green harissa dressing and tzaziki or something instead of the red harissa) All this for under $10! It really pays not to be picky at Cava. Plus it's delicious. The drinks are all really good and fresh, too. Sometimes I'm tempted to splurge on one, but usually I stick to water because I'm cheap. Oh and they have a nice changing table for all you mamas and papas out there!

Always messes up order. Did not receive protein. Unfriendly customer service. Came to pick up order and the order was not printed.

For the first time every in my Cava history was I able to walk in, walk right up and order my bowl!!! They was literally no line and plenty of seating available. I quietly looked up and thanked the Cava Gods for looking out for me, they must have known how hungry I truly was. Everything was good, the rice was nice and hot!!! You could feel the heat penetrating the bottom of the to go bowl. Today was a meatless day but I did hear the lamb meatballs calling my name, I ignored them and loaded up on the veggies and three scoops of tzatziki had them drizzle on the vinegarette. I'm still surprised there was literally no line.

If you're vegan and don't eat meat why are vegetables extra?? Doesn't make much sense.

Mediterranean "Chipotle style" fast casual with lots of topping choices. One thing I like about this place is you can pick a 1/2 grain 1/2 salad option for your bowl. I was able to get 1/2 romaine lettuce and 1/2 Jasmine rice with braised beef and a ton of interesting toppings. It all comes with a pita as well. The line moved fast and they were patient and friendly in explaining all the topping options, maybe signs would help? This place isn't huge so it might be tough getting a seat at peak times but it's worth a try if you can get a seat.

One of my favorite chains for years! Love CAVA. It is like a Mediterranean chipotle. Good for lunch and to take to go. Quick and customized for you where you can choose either a bowl, pita, or salad and then add on whichever toppings you prefer. I usually get the Tzatziki sauce, braised lamb, tomato + cucumber salad, and feta with mine. This particular location is located right under the target and across from the movie theater and grassy area. It has always given me a great dining experience with its clean environment and quick service. You must try their drinks also. All the teas and lemonades are unique and so good!

The Cava Kamp Washington has super friendly service and delicious food. We were in from out of town and never had Cava before. We ate there several times while we were in Fairfax. Highly recommended!

What can you say, if you've been to one, you've been to them all. Been to this location a good amount of times but it's been consistent every time. The staff is friendly enough and the food is solid. Got my usual lentils and super greens bowl with chicken and they definitely don't skimp on toppings. It's one of the better fast casual options in the Mosaic district and definitely one of my go to places.

Cava is a fast casual version of Mediterranean food. In the "fast casual" category it definitely deserves 5 stars. Honestly, it blows similar restaurants out of the water. At Cava, you order at the counter and watch them make your meal. They have a lot of meat and vegetarian options. The braised lamb is particularly good. They have house sauces such as crazy feta, like tahini, and sriracha yogurt. Toppings include pickled onions, cucumbers, olives, etc. Everything is cooked to perfection and the flavors are abundant! Great place for lunch or really any time you need a quick meal without too much fuss!

5/18/19 Where to start? Where to start?...upon entering the restaurant, the music I heard was not the best introduction for me, but it is what it is. I noticed two ladies waiting for their ture to buy food, but the number of staff members seem short. Upon seeing the manager, I noticed her eyes were not looking at the customer she was servicing. Her focus as Jackie Chan aka Hans said " your focus needs more focus." Her fake smile and her personality reminded me of Mike Barns. I had asked for a small cup to drink from and was charged for a large cup. My wife decided she wanted a cup too so I went back for another cup. The female Mike Barns saw me standing there waiting for assistance and took her sweet ass time to assist me and another lady who was standing there. She finally approaches me with a confused look on her face and asks if I need help. From the look on her face, she did not like me or pretty much anyone else, but hide her distant better. Again I asked for a small cup and was charged for large cup. The small and large cups were right next to each other. She clearly wasn't listening at all. The woman standing next to me thought that Ms. Mike Barns's focus lacked focus too. The food was good and had a lot of flavor, but The manager and her leadership had most of her crew acting like the students of a Cobra Kai dojo. This was truly made clear to me when I used one of the unsex bathrooms. This truly why this review gets a one star rating. Upon seeing the bathroom, I saw two disturbing things, but one of them took the cake. A dead German cockroach was on the ground and I did not like seeing this because it reminded me of the PF Chang's cockroach infestation at Tyson's Galleria. The used condom testing on the floor near the sink was what finally disgusted me to want to leave. However, I decided to give this restaurant one more chance. I contacted an employee about what I saw and showed him what was going on. He seemed like he only half cared what I showed him. He ended up talking to Ms. Mike Barns who smiled wickedly and did nothing about it. On our way out of the restaurant, I saw a woman go into the same unisex bathroom i had. If she saw what i saw, I wonder if she said anything? Since Ms. Mike Barns doesn't care about the clients in this store, I figured the clients ought to know what might go on in this restaurant. We will not be back to this restaurant despite how good the food is.

CAVA is great! I'd typically stick to other places like Chipotle but CAVA is great when you're craving something healthier and less meat-centric. Our dude at this location was very friendly and also hooked it up in terms of portions, and the facility was quite clean. I opted for the bowl with super greens and white rice and also got half chicken and half falafel. I will say that the one drawback is that the falafel was flavorless... but aside from that all was good! PS - the harissa sauce is FIRE! Absolutely delicious.

My boyfriend and I order Cava from Mosaic District about once a week as we are huge fans. However, two nights ago we found a wheel of a toy car in one of our bowls... an actual toy car wheel attached to a metal rod. Thankfully we found it before it was swallowed or bitten down on, but again, this was a sharp metal rod with a WHEEL on it. Insane. We called the store to notify them and they wanted to assure us that nobody there had any toy cars there. This whole thing would be comical if it wasn't potentially dangerous. We sent an email with photos to customer service and they offered us a refund. Not sure what else we should have expected, given the strangeness of the situation, but it is safe to say we will no longer be customers of Cava, certainly not the Mosaic location. Beware of weird objects in your food, or who knows what else!

To be my first time there was the super nice experience they had recommended it to me before but until recently I dared to try it the service was very nice very professional to explain and above all have the patience Miss Eva helped me a lot with the menu above all she recommended me to make half salad and rice it was very great to build my dish together with her at the end Miss Sarah also helped The process when you arrive looks like difficult but with the help of the staff it becomes easier to understand thank you for having patience making my food one more time thanks Eva and Sarah excellent job

I had a great meal at CAVA the other night! I walked right into the restaurant and was served very quickly by a friendly staff. And of course, the salad was BOMB! So much flavor packed into a healthy, delicious bowl. (And very filling). An excellent option if you're looking for a quick, light meal that won't weigh you down. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it yet!

This review is really for the franchise more than this location, but this place is as good or better than any others we've been to. My family loves this restaurant! They have so many great flavors and it's made with real food ingredients. Their website has a very helpful allergen table. Cava offers a plethora of options for dairy free and gluten-free diets. Plus, when I asked the corporate headquarters about ingredients (one of use has sensitivity to a very common additive) they answered me promptly. One item on their menu has that additive (pita crisps, which aren't really pretending to be fresh and healthy). Cava's commitment to real food has made my family very satisfied and loyal customers.

Did not include the free pitas. My Caesar Chicken wrap had pickles when I requested no pickles. There was very little romaine lettuce. I will not order carry out on the app. Be there to see what you're eating.

My team at work celebrates birthdays monthly by choosing a place to order lunch and eating together at the office during the first part of our team meeting. We have ordered from the Panera at Mosaic a few times and they are so accommodating of our large order! They accept the order on a chart through email and they put each individual's name on their food to make it easy for us when we get it back to the office. In addition, they allow us to pull up to the back door of the store and bring the bags out to us. Not only do we love CAVA's food, but we love that they go the extra mile for us!

Went on a rush for a quick bowl, Manager Walter was quick and very willing to help me out. We had a nice conversation as my order was being prepared. Over all 10/10 service place looks better every time I go. Hope to see Walter more often since I had a very pleasant experience with his service.
