The food is definitely high-quality and the ingredients are fresh, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the actual taste didn’t fit my palate. The taste of the combination of sauces and ingredients didn’t seem to blend well together…😮‍💨 Besides, it’ll be much more quicker if you order online first.

I had a Mediterranean bowl at Cava made with fresh ingredients, and it was so delicious! I tried the Steak Harissa Bowl, and the staff were so friendly and helpful in guiding me to the best combination of flavors. The Pasadena location, in particular, has a great atmosphere and excellent service—I definitely recommend it.

Great service as always! line went by quicker than expected. I love the pita chips and the kids meal is very generous. The drink selection is the star show, very fresh and lots of selection. Would come back again.

Over the past few years CAVA has been a staple restaurant of mine whenever I need a quick, healthy, delicious and affordable meal. The simplicity and efficiency of ordering, matched with the high quality and nutritious ingredients make a wonderful combination that satisfies your hunger and does not break the bank. They have so many choices to customize your bowl the way you like and the staff are always very friendly. Overall an amazing option for a fast, healthy and flavorful dining experience.

First time trying CAVA! The food is healthy and flavorful. So many options and combinations for you to choose from. The staff are very polite. Overall, I had a pleasant experience! Money well spent for a nutritious & tasty $14 bowl.

I love cava, the hard time in choosing dips, toppings, sauces means quality variety + Greens bowl with shawarma chicken (tender), whipped feta (light and not too feta-y), harissa (like gochujang), and tzatziki (tangy), sweet and tangy Persian cucumbers, corn, tomato, pickled onions. On the side, lemon herb tahini (tahini forward) and yogurt dill (liquidy but yummy tang) ($16) Comes with pita (8.5/10)

i literally love cava so much. i always get the harissa avocado bowl with pita crisps and the garlic sauce is to die for! i know you can make your own bowls but i prefer the harissa avocado bowl. service is always good here, and they're super attentive. i know it gets pretty busy so make sure to stay patient. there's plenty of seating inside and outside! i love this area. there's parking in the parking structure or you can do street parking!

Great fast casual eatery. Choose your own bowls or Pita wraps which is similar to the Chipotle style, except with Mediterranean food. Lines can be rough during the peak times, thus can also order ahead online on their own website. Parking is convenient in the large structure behind, which is the same for Trader Joe. I really liked their Chicken Swarma bowl. Very flavorful and with lots of fresh toppings. Only reason not a 5/5 is due to the portion sizes to price ratio. Maybe not fair to compare to Chipotle, but I definitely didn't feel full after finishing this meal and it was more expensive (where I always feel stuffed after Chipotle). It was quite healthy though!

Love CAVA. Wish there were closer spots near me. The chipotle of Mediterranean food. The baked pita chips are the best. Love that they sell the sauces in markets now.

Cava me delicious! This was exactly what I was hoping for and more. When I asked what this place was all about I was described that if I liked chipotle, consider this a Mediterranean Chipotle. It was described just right to me. You can pick all of the ingredients you want starting with the rice and salad and then your protein and then whatever toppings and sauce. Incredibly addicting and what better than to always be able to customize a meal exactly to your preferences. Not sure why delivery is a significant amount more so definitely go in store. In store is significantly cheaper than any delivery service plus you get rewards if you sign up for their free program. Not sure why but almost every single time I go, the employees seem to kind of all hate their jobs. No one ever has a smile and if they really do talk to you at all, it comes with quite a bit of attitude.

I swear I ordered a Harissa Avocado bowl. Instead I got a bowl of toppings drenched in sauce with barely any rice and absolutely no supergreens. Ordering CAVA online has more downs than ups lately. Whoever was in charge of online orders today (pick up at 1:15pm) needs some additional training because this repetitive behavior of messing with online orders is eventually gonna hurt this business. I came here with my coworkers and their bowls were also 1/3 full. I rarely leave reviews but from now on, imma post every single sh*tty bowl I receive.

I stopped here for lunch on a weekday and ordered online for pickup. I was fortunate to find parking right in front, which was convenient. The flavors in my meal were well-balanced, and I enjoyed the food overall. My bowl didn't seem as full as the portions shown in the pictures. I understand that real-life servings may not reflect promotional images, I still expected a more substantial meal. It's possible a new staff member prepared my order, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. Maybe next time I'll give them a second try.

Food was amazing as always! There was barely a line on a Wednesday night and service was quick. They have lots of seating as well. The only negative is the parallel parking in front of Cava's is metered. I recommend the free garage parking near Trader Joe's that's around the corner. I opted for the custom bowl with grilled chicken as my protein. You have the option to do 1/2 and 1/2 but keep in mind a lot of their other protein options have an extra charge. I added almost all the extra toppings and my bowl was stuffed. It comes with a free slice of pita bread and an optional dressing on the side.

I loveee cava! I've never had a bad experience and my bowl always slaps no matter how I change it up. The photo doesn't do it justice but everything is customizable so your bowl could look different! It gets busy during lunch hour but I don't mind the wait. The service is good usually and I always hear the staff working together to call out items they're running low on. It's like Mediterranean chipotle and it's even better than chipotle:3 it would be awesome if they opened one closer to Arcadia!

First time trying Cava and I now understand the hype around it. The food is pretty tasty and refreshing. My friend and I both built our own bowls and tried the spicy honey chicken (I think it's a limited item). It was great. The service was also very patient and kind. We went around 12 ish on a Sunday afternoon. There was a bit of a line but as we were eating, the line got pretty long. Service is pretty slow so if you're in a time crunch, I'd consider going to another place to eat. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Cava. I would love to return in the future :)

Walter and his team came through like pros! Uber Eats had canceled my order for a business lunch, and did not notify me in time; so I had to place the order for 9 people in person... during the lunch rush! His team filled the order correctly and quickly, saving my appointment. The food was terrific and fresh. Great job!

I honestly love the food at Cava and have been coming to this location since they opened, but on my lunch visit today the portions were about 30% less than normal. I'm disappointed and wondering if this is the new normal or just a one off?

Sorry to say, I'm still a chipotle girly :( After hearing mix reviews about Cava, I knew I had to try it myself. For $14 the portion size isn't bad. It's just the taste? The vibe for say. Not our vibe at all. It's pretty mid. Cons: - staff rushes you (mind you there was one other person behind us and it was both our first time) - doesn't taste flavorful (I hate!!! Mixing my good but you have to with cava :/) - pita was extremely dry - portion is fine We ended up throwing more than half of the bowl away.. so what does that tell you..

Cava is sooooooo good!!! My favorite fast chain food spot~ it is a little steep for the price point so unfortunately cannot be an everyday lunch thing, but I always feel full and healthy after, so that makes up for everything. My go to order is the half greens and grains bowl with super greens, white rice, steak, and the hummus/harissa/tzatziki sauce! I also double up on the garlic sauce on the side to use with the free side pita. Everything always taste fresh + none of the ingredients look old. Ordering online in particular this location its common for them to miss something because they get super busy throughout the day that they run out faster than they can serve so I always have to double check my order. Parking is meh here, there is a structure but if you're in a hurry its not that convenient with the curb always filled. I find the best time is to order early and pickup as early as possible before the lunch rush but I understand that it's kinda hard to do that as well. The staff is pretty friendly here despite being stressed with all the food rushes.

Tried Cava for the first time and had a good pick up experience. I ordered on the app and went in to pick up. The sweet employee (didn't catch his name) brought me over freshly fried pita chips before I left and let me know they wait till the last second to give the fresh pita chips. I got the: Fresh pita chips 10/10 Half lamb avocado & chicken bowl 6/10 Disappointed that the chicken, avocado, and a couple other ingredients were missing. I did reach out to Cava and they kindly gave me a partial refund via their rewards system. Even though some ingredients were missing, will say the bowl was still good. Would like to note that the photo below is how the bowl was when I opened it. Jasmine tea 6/10 Refreshing but very light in flavor.

First time ever having Cava after hearing about it and wow was it so delicious! After not being super satisfied with chipotle as much anymore eating here really satisfied that craving, both my fiancée and after eating gave a 10/10 on taste of food! I got the steak harissa bowl but got chicken instead of the steak & my fiancée ordered the greek chicken pita with extra tzatziki sauce. The only reason I docked a star was the customer service, it didn't feel super welcoming when we came in & the person assembling our food was super stale & not very friendly unfortunately, but as far as the food goes, we loved it and hope one opens up closer to us at some point! :)

This was my 3rd time visiting Cava but the last two experiences were in Chino Hills. I was happy with my last 2 experiences at Cava and knew about the crowds/ hype and wanted to share with my boyfriend. BUT-- as for Pasadena's location, it was somewhat lacking in customer service on a busy Friday night. The wait took some time (imagine Chipotle lines), except the food is mainly served cold! Tables weren't really clean, either. The drink machine was broken and wouldn't stop dispensing its respective drink. Trash was overflowing, too. Overall, I love Cava's concept and would return back, but I think even in 2024 (when I visited), they're still having issues with a shortage of food workers. Tips- Park- Parking available in the back. Shop at Trader Joe's nearby after your meal for your newly inspired plans to make your own Mediterranean bowl in the future! (+): Affordable for dining out ($15ish a person), love their drinks!

I guess Cava wants Northern California folks to suffer by refusing to expand to The Bay or Sacramento. Lord knows if there was one nearby my house I'd be there once a week minimum. Seriously though Cava is one of the best fast food / fast casual chains in America. Very honest ingredients, lots of options, and a sauce lovers dream. Please come up north!

I usually enjoy the food here, but I feel like the service at Cava is not as friendly as I would expect. The food is consistently good, though, and this place offers a similar concept to Chipotle, but with Mediterranean cuisine. I recommend getting the bowl with pita chips. It is a great combo and pairs really well together, making for a satisfying meal.

How is something so simple so good? I assume it's the ingredients but man, even though it is a bit pricey, I still keep coming back to Cava. CAVA greater than CHIPOTLE by a landslide, I SAID WHAT I SAID. I usually get the steak, basmati rice, and sauces on the side. The harissa sauce has a nice spice, and everything is made well and cooked to perfection. Located in the heart of Pasadena, make sure to read all the signs if parking on the street, the meter maids are ON IT in Pasadena (yes I've gotten a ticket before within 5 min of my parking expiring) Skip the drinks they were all meh. I had high hopes but it was just ok.

So the food here is always such a hit! The service kind of sucks. It's a hit or miss, especially when they are busy. I brought my friend for the first time and she didn't know how to order. The guy helping her just looked at my friend and asked what she wanted at the beginning and she didn't know that she had to ask for rice and greens at the same time and she only chose a green options. Then when she asked for rice the person helping her rolled his eyes and sighed. I took away another star because I had recently got a reward for a free bowl on the app. So I brought my friend for the first time and got myself a bowl and the deep fried pita chips because I got them last time and they were so good! But when I went to scan it, the register or the cashier took off the pita chips instead! I felt so misled and it kind of left a nasty taste in my mouth because of how the cashier just told me "It took off the pita chips, I didn't choose it." I don't know if it was the company app or what it was, but I would suggest anyone who is trying to use their rewards to do separate transactions. But other than that, the food is usually pretty good. They have seating both indoors and outdoors. It can get pretty cold inside and out !

Cava seems to be the hot new food chain. I've been to Pasadena, Burbank and LAX locations now. It's more or less the chipotle of Mediterranean food, but the old Chipotle when the chicken was on point! They offer good quality chicken and steak paired with rice or salad in your bowl and lots of fun toppings and sauces. It feels like good quality, clean eating. Portions are a little small, but that helps avoid overloading calories guess.

The food is good, but the portions are ridiculously small for these prices. I remember when they actually filled up the bowl.

Soooo delicious. It was our first time here and it didn't disappoint,, it was my first time and I came during rush hour so the service was very fast so I couldn't really ask for a recommendation but I'm happy with what I got. Definitely will be coming back again

CAVA is like the Chipotle but for Mediterranean bowls. You can choose to build your own or choose one of their curated bowls. I got the Steak and Harissa and added all the toppings. Very delicious and filling! There's a lot of seating here and the tables are relatively clean. It looked like the staff were training since they had guides on how to make the bowls. But altogether, the line moved relatively quickly!

One of my favorite spots for a quick and healthy-ish dinner! I love getting the grains and greens bowl with chicken with harissa and hummus! Don't forget to say yes to the FREE side of pita. They also have a wide selection of unique sodas. I always order on the app so I can arrive and pick up my drinks quickly, and you can earn points to redeem items. There's free parking in the parking structure with Trader Joe's!

I had a very uncomfortable experience during my most recent visit to CAVA. The employees at this location could really benefit from additional training on customer service. I waited in line for about ten minutes to place my order. A Caucasian man arrived and stood behind me. A Caucasian employee (a scrawny man in his late 40s with stubble on his face- this is petty but accurate given the circumstance) then came out from the kitchen when it was finally my turn to order he told the man behind me to go ahead and place his order before me. He motioned him with hand to go around me. I was shocked and confused since I had been waiting patiently in line before that man. What made the situation worse was that the other employees didn't say anything even though a couple saw the situation. When another employee eventually came over to take my order, I asked if this type of behavior was normal, and she just laughed at my question. I've always enjoyed coming to this CAVA location and have never had an issue before, but this experience left me feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. The discriminatory behavior I witnessed should be taken seriously and addressed by management. I won't be supporting this business anymore.

My favorite fast food,--. Love a straight up vegan bowl with lentils, greens, brown rice and falafel with a scoop of harissa, tahini and baba-g with garlic dressing and skug and I'm in heaven. For other protein, they have harissa chicken, stewed lamb, lamb meatballs. Have tried all the proteins and am particularly partial to the falafel-- super tasty with whole soft garbanzos inside. Service is always brisk and helpful especially during mealtimes. They run out of falafel sometimes--if you're willing to wait, they'll bring what's freshly cooked to your table when ready. Sometimes they run out of falafel completely :( Love Cava! It's supercalicavalicious! End of Yelp.

Very efficient CAVA and kind staff. This location is convenient because it is a wall away from Erewhon, Nekter, and Coffee bean and tea! In case you're new to the CAVA hype: just imagine a mediterranean chipotle with 5x more veggie options and fresh toppings, including savory sauces to add as well.

Call me old school but I like good customer service, I'm not expecting out of this world service at fast food service places but at lease don't come with attitude and be aware of people time. I placed an order on-line for pick up at 1:30, didn't get my food till 1:49. When I stepped into the facility at 1:33 I saw no bag waiting so I asked and he guy said "oh yeah, it's not ready, we'll get to it in a bit". No "I apologize we're running a little behind we'll have your order out asap". As I was observing, every one seems to take their sweet time to assemble or refill a food bin with products. When my order was finally ready the guy turned around and said "ok it's ready " I forgot to put in my order the side of pita so I asked him "can you add 2 pitas " and he said with attitude "next time you should put it in your order " and he gets the pitas, stuffs in a bag and dumps them into my order... so yes at that point I did say "next time have my order on time". They should keep in mind that people are on their lunch break and we may only have a couple of minutes to spare to pick up food.... If it gets overwhelming, turn your system off to receive more pick up orders. If management is there durning lunch time you can't distinguish them because it seems nobody had the urgency to get orders out on time

I always love going to CAVAs. I've been to two different restaurants so far and both have been a good experience. The workers are always kind and helpful. The food itself is excellent and always cooked well. Nothing has ever tasted off at a CAVA restaurant, which I love. They're extremely consistent with keeping their restaurants clean and safe for everyone.

Ordered ahead on the app and was told it would still take an hour to assemble one bowl. So just a fair warning that the pickup times listed on the app are non-adjustable and will be faster to just stand in the line and order. Also tried to ask a question to a worker upon arrival and was ignored while 3 workers helped one patron (who appeared to be related to one of the workers). Blah service for mediocre bowls and often out of ingredients.

I came here for dinner with a friend on a Saturday evening. The line wasn't too long when we got there but by the time we got to the front of the line to order (maybe 15 minutes), the line got a lot longer behind us. I built my own salad steak bowl. The portion size was great and there's a variety of items to choose from to include in your bowl. I was really happy with how my bowl turned out in terms of portion and taste. It was so good! The staff was really nice too and explained what options I could choose per station and if some items would be extra cost. There's ample seating indoors so we didn't have an issue finding a table and dining in. I'd definitely come here again!

Honestly, its super delicious. I love the flavors the sauces the protein. Everything is super good, but I have my gripe with how long the wait times are pretty much at all of their locations. It seems like they need a better system in order to serve the customer more effectively.

The staff was warm, courteous, and attentive throughout our visit. On top of that, the entire place was spotless--cleanliness clearly matters here. A wonderful dining experience all around. Its a bit pricey to eat all the time but its great quality. Wish the portion size was a little bigger (actually i would like some more meat). Friendly staff. Quick service. Clean location. Would recommend

This was our first time going to Cava. My wife got a pita wrap while I got the bowl. Both were very good, but my wife definitely enjoyed her meal more than I did. I liked it, but I didn't think it was as good as she liked her pita. Anyway, as others have probably noted, this is very similiar to Chipotle in that you can pick and choose what items go into your bowl/pita. However, the price is also a bit more expensive than Chipotle, but not horribly more expensive. I also like that they didn't ask for a tip when you check out. It seems like common practice that many fast food joints are now asking for a tip, which makes it uncomfortable since I don't tip at fast food joints. Overall, we had a good experience and I'll probably go again, but I don't think this will be a regular spot for me.

Great service and food as always! Every time I visit a CAVA, I'm always amazed at how fast and well the workers pay attention to detail with customers. You get to customize your bowl with many different toppings, and there's so many options.

I loveeeee CAVA. It's so good and I'll be coming consistently no matter what. I will say though, their portions for avocado were extremely skimpy.

Ordered a Greens and Grain bowl with almost all the toppings. This is a great option if you're looking for something heavier than a simple salad, especially after a long workout. I ordered just before closing so apologies and thanks to the staff for helping to get my order through. Location is easy to find, clean, there is some free parking behind this complex in their parking structure but I don't remember if it was time limited. This was the order. Excellent quality and tasty food. This was my first time at Cava in Pasadena. I was really impressed. The salad bowl with chicken, tzatziki, basmati rice, and veggies was delicious. Prices are very reasonable. The place was super busy. I will definitely be back.

Stopped by Cava this week for the first time ever and I have to say I'm impressed. I really loved it. The food is so fresh and flavorful, this will be a weekly stop for lunch or dinner. The store was clean and the people were friendly and since it was my first time at Cava they made some suggestions on tasty combinations. I picked my own toppings because I was scared to try one of the ones on the menu, lol. But I'm trying the Harissa Avocado next! All in all, I'm really excited for something new since my go to spot is/was chip-otle, but I think I'm replacing that with Cava.

I think the AC was out when I visited this location. It was hot and muggy inside but the staff were so friendly and kind, it made up for it. I would have kept the doors open for some fresh air though. It was my first time at CAVA. I tried the spicy lamb meatballs and the steak. All their sauces and hummus were so yummy. I wish their menu was bigger so you can see the items more clearly while you're waiting in line. Also love all their beverage choices! There's street parking or a garage behind the plaza.

Food is decent but, the service is terrible. I placed online order at 1:10pm and pick-up time was 1:30pm on my app. So, when I arrived there was a large group already waiting for their order's and I waited till 1:35pm and still nothing. I asked to speak to a manager since I started work at 2PM and didn't want to be late he said they're backed up and will do my order next. I didn't get out of there till 1:45pm and I was late for work didn't even get an apology!
