CAVA never disappoints! The food is always fresh especially the pita chips! Love there seasonal drinks as well loving pineapple drink.The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean. Definitely my go-to spot for a healthy and delicious meal!

I love this location, staff always friendly. New faces like Joanna with a positive attitude she helps me through the line she offer me a sample of spicy chips that pair with my Greek salad. Patio is a great place to have dinner. Tasty food and great service.

Food tasted fine. Forgot the hummus I asked for online, didn’t give double crisps like I asked for either. They also put a sad amount of steak in my bowl too. Please do better with your portions and listening for what I ordered online.

I had a late dinner at cava, it was delicious. I decided on getting a bowl with pita, my favorite. The employees were nice, as always, and they had clearly made sure to keep the space tidy. This location is amazing.

Delicious food and juices. I visit this location for the first time and the spicy lamb avocado bowl was delicious, Brianna recommended me the cucumber mint lime juice, everything was fresh and tasty. Restaurant clean and friendly staff. Guisela is always with a positive attitude.

I’ve visited several locations, and today I stopped in for dinner with friends while working in the area. The service we received was outstanding—truly top-notch. I believe the team members assisting us were Bellinda and Guisela, and they were both exceptional. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in the area.

Victor & Guísela were the most wonderful and welcoming people I’ve ever met they helped me pick each ingredient and where very knowledgeable about everything that was available, most definitely coming back thank you to them!!!!!

Delicious food and the new Tangerine Aleppo juice is refreshing. Staff are friendly, the restaurant cleaned and has a nice patio.

Food: Good portions. Free side pita with each bowl. Recommend to ask for it in the beginning of the line when ordering. Parking: Free, if full, try parking lot across near McDonalds. The crosswalk closest to Shake Shack is easiest to walk over to CAVA without worrying about cars backing into you. Seating: Lots. Outdoor (some shade; they are black metal chairs so careful sitting if wearing shorts if it's hot outside). Indoors, the line tends to form between the tables if gets too long. You may want to sit along the windows where there are bar stools. FYI...They close around 10pm now and it tends to get pretty busy around 9:45pm sometimes in case you decide to order in app at that time :). Service: Friendly and quick. It's usually very clean. If order on app, recommend to opt to get bag and utensils if you're getting sauce on the side. This store keeps the orders on their counters, so you'll need to ask person near the register for order.

Located in a shopping center with lots of free parking around. Nice and clean location with lots of seating inside and outside on a nice day. Been here a few times and service has been nice and quick. Food has been good and as expected from a Cava and other build-your-own-bowl places.

I love Cava! It was my first time at this location. It was very clean and service was quick. The food is very fresh and tasty at this particular location. They didn't have the Roma tomatoes this time but the mix they had was good though. I got the avocado on my bowl this time because It actually looked fresh and wasn't browning. I did notice that they keep the seeds of the avocado in the pan instead of throwing It away like other locations. I wonder why though? I'm thinking It must help keep the others fresh. Bowls typically run from $11 - $15 depending on what protein & extras you're getting. I'd definitely eat here again if I'm in the area.

Could have been better.... First, I love Mediterranean food. From food, it doesn't disappoint. Portion sizes are on the smaller side than other Cava's. What I mean is, the bowl is only 75% full. The dining room setting is a bit annoying. If you if sit and eat, all customers have to past by you (some coughing) to get in line. Lots of coughing customers or maybe this area has a lot of coughers. The worker wiping the tables will use a dirty towel just to wipe each table, cross contaminating jerks, while flinging items towards the tables that are occupied. Maybe they are doing this on purpose to annoy me? I'll probably be back, but this place is nowhere perfect.

Located in Cabin John Plaza - there is a Cava - lots of parking is available. At first (when we visited), I was not sure if it was opened as it was very empty on a Saturday, but then as we got closer, I saw it was open. We got 2 bowls. Mine was the Greens and Grains and I chose the items I wanted in it and the other in my party chose a bowl that already pre-made. The employee had to check a card to make sure they were putting in the correct items for that bowl. Once I got to the end, before paying for both bowls, I got one of their cookies - it was a bit different from the basic chocolate chip and so I went for it. It was my first time selecting the Greens and Grains bowl. Not sure I would try that again as it ended up having more greens than the other choices even though greens are good for you. I still like Cava overall. The cookie was great - Honey Apricot Cookie - yum, yum, yum...soft and chewy too. I am glad this location is here as I can now stop by here whenever I am in the area and have a craving. Note: Located a few doors from the Shake Shack. If entering the plaza from Tuckerman Lane, when you get to the stop sign, go left and then look to your left (you should see it).

As always, this location has kind employees, generous serving amounts, tasty food, and the store is clean! Always a pleasant experience which is appreciated!

Cabin John location is probably my second most frequented Cava location. It's close to family and often the healthy choice my niece prefers for lunch. Pretty much like my go-to location. Efficient. Clean. Staff are friendly. I'm able to get my favorites the way I like it. :) Parking is a bit hectic cause it's at Cabin John, but at least Cava is on the one end with parking closest to Tuckerman Lane. This location has a nicer patio to sit out on but plenty of space if you're up for indoors. With the pandemic, I've done curbside pickup as well as walked through to get carryout.

Two stars for the service quality. It was not a busy Sunday afternoon. 1. Went in to pick up online order. My orders were already sitting on (inside ) counter for 10 minutes. I had to ask the staff twice to get my order. 2. Got home and realized Cava staff did not include our (on the side) dressings we ordered in the bag. Tried to call the store many times without success ( line was always busy ) 3. While in the store, I noticed some of the tables were not cleaned. The store was not busy.

This review is a little late, but better late than never... I organized a group lunch at Cava Cabin John 4/14. Prior to the event, I spoke with Kennia to make sure my group could be accommodated, and agreed on how to pay for the group. She also added in a very much appreciated freebie for our group. Day of the event, everything went so smoothly. I was able to purchase a gift card to pay for the group of people who came, and Kennia handled our group with ease and no issues. Over 20 people placed an order, there was barely any wait and the food was delicious. Any time the gift card went low, she let me know and let me re-load to keep our purchases going. I cannot thank Kennia and her staff enough for hosting us, for a delicious lunch, and for staying calm and collected despite 20+ people in our group on top the normal patrons for the day. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Tasty Lunch! My first time trying Cava@Cabin John Shopping Center (Potomac, MD). Ordered via Uber Eats. My order arrived promptly 5/18/20. I ordered Greens/Grains w/Grilled Chicken & Grains w/Braised Lamb. Delicious tender meats & fresh crispy veggies.

We visited this location on a windy late summer day. It was 68°F outside, and it felt even colder inside, so we had to take the food to-go instead of dining in. The employees weren't very warm or welcoming either. The food itself was delicious, but they had run out of feta cheese, and the rice bowl was barely a little more than half full.

First time today. The food was good, but the employees were rude. You know you're not doing me a favor by allowing me to buy lunch from you, right? You know there's other spots I can lunch at, right???

Was there on weekday evening. It was not so crowded. Our three bowls were promptly prepared. Tahini Caesar Bowl was our best among the three.

Friendly staff, clean store. Although, it is absolutely FREEZING in here. It seriously felt like 40 degrees on a 70-80 degree evening. I came in close to closing, and staff were accommodating and even cooked more harissa honey chicken since they were out. Great location!

This is our go to location for Cava. Parking can be a challenge given the other stores here. Ordering and customizing our bowl is efficient and easy and the food is always fresh and tastes good. We like the following options in our bowl: hummus chicken meatballs pita chips roasted corn tomato and onions cabbage slaw Yogurt dill dressing We also like a side of pita chips - crisp and a nice snack! Getting in and out for takeout is quick and we like coming back on a regular basis!

Well, I found a hair in my bowl that definitely was not mine, so I don't know how the food was I had to get rid of it I was so disgusted

Food is always good. Employees for my last few visits refused to replenish food stations just because they don't want to step a few feet away to get them. They ran out of red onion and I asked to wait and they told me they don't have anymore red onion for that day. They ran out of fried pita bread and again saying that they don't have it anymore. These incidents didn't occur during closing time. They occurred between 6-7 pm during my last few visits. The employees appeared to not want to do anything but stand there and not move. Because CAVA food is always good, we will be going to other locations permanently going forward.

I grabbed lunch from Cava at the Tuckerman Lane location during lunch today and the customer service was incredible! Matilde and Leslie were so kind! Definitely coming back! The food tasted so fresh!!

Say it is not so,but yes it is true....this was my first time trying Cava. I am a lagging behind in the Cava craze. I will have to say that I would have given Cava 3.5 stars if possible. This is a beautiful brand new store in Cabin John Shopping center. It is clean, spacious, and well maintained. The vegetables were fresh and tasty. I liked the hummus and the combination of rice and salad. It was very reasonable in price. Unfortunately, the felafel were extremely hard and lacked flavor. That was the main protein in my meal, so that was a huge disappointment. The tzadiki sauce also lacked flavor and taste. The manager, Cindy, was nice and pleasant and welcomed me. The staff was accommodating and sweet. The facility is lovely. And their peach tea was fabulous. I know they just opened and need sometime to work out the kinks. I will try again and chose a different protein. They are right on my way home from work and I hope to be back for another try.

Cava has always been a go to, but with Crave leaving Montgomery Mall in 2020, Cava is the only place I can kind of feel "healthy" after dining in the food court.

The girl making my bowl had on a red Kabbalah bracelet and the strings were hanging down going into everyone's food. Not very hygienic because all I could think of is what other things is the string touching therefore cross contaminating everything. I couldn't even eat my food comfortably knowing this so ended up throwing my lunch away.

My bowl always tastes amazing! The staff is super friendly. Kenia and Luis helped me out with my orders. Will be back at this location soon.

the healthier version of chipotle and just soooo many toppings to choose from. my bowl is legit different every time I go but always taste great and fresh! I love the falalfel, spicy lamb meatballs, and chicken -- all well seasoned. the corn is a must, as well at the pickled onions, olives, crazy feta and corn. If you're new, I recommend getting the sauces on the side because they can be overpowering but my favorites are the harissa and red pepper hummus. The pita crisps are a nice, crunchy touch to top it off!

Food was excellent but not the service. The woman doing the prepping hardly spoke English and just gave me cold stares when making my order. When I asked her about something, she had to ask someone in Spanish what it was and that coworker translated. When I asked for additional chicken, she sure knew how to tell me it would be extra. It was very obvious that she did not want to be there. The food kept my rating from being a one star.

The food from this location always hits the spot - delicious. However, we used Door Dash and this order came without 3 items which they refunded on the credit card. My concern is that it takes 1 minute for the charge to be approved but, up to 7 days for a refund to be approved. This isn't the first time and it's too bad bc their food really is fantastic. Too bad they don't prepare the orders well enough.

When Cabin John got a Cava we were ecstatic. We ordered at least once a week. But the quality of this location has been going down for a while now. No lamb meatballs, no crazy feta- no feta at all for that matter. This falafel is not good- it's flavorless and mushy. It tastes old. The trash cans are overflowing and the tables are dirty. I don't know who is running things over here, but they aren't doing a good job. I am super disappointed that a place that was once a reliable go-to has officially fallen off the list.

Kind of like a healthier version of Chipotle with stuff like kale, lamb meatballs, and basmati rice. Pretty good stuff though it's a bit overpriced IMO. Good option for something quick and relatively healthy though.

First time here, great quality of food. Plenty of healthy choices. The place was bright and clean. Staffs were very helpful and friendly since this was our first time at CAVA, they helped us choose the option. Even more than that, the gentleman over at the register was walking to us, and gave us the chips. He verbally welcome us because he knew that this was our first time try CAVA. "Please try this chips, you would like it" oh!! How nice. Thank you, and yes! It was good, tasted like flat bread with sprinkle of salt and pepper. I think CAVA would be my healthy options in the future. :)

Yea so this place is freaking delicious, healthy and I could happily eat vegetarian here all day every day if given a chance. It offers about everything you could need for a health fix - grain and salad bowls, and while it's certainly not exclusively vegetarian (chicken, lamb feature on the menu here too), their falafel are excellent, the gluten free options and delicious hummus make this a great place for a pick me up which doesn't kill the pocket book or the waistline. One annoyance is simply my preference for not having a million things to choose from- I sometimes like set menus at places like these to help me along , while still being able to mix and match - but the truth is no matter what combo you end up going for, the flavors will be harmonious and delicious. Great concept, seems rather eco friendly and I always leave feeling satisfied but healthy for it.

This is one of the best additions added to Cabin John in Potomac. It's not busy like most locations. It is the best place to good food in Cabin John!

A brand new location(as of August 2018) with plenty of seating and a really great outdoor area for dining in. I ordered a grains bowl with falafel and all of the fixings that make it good! They have a wide variety of options to choose from. #YelpMDburbs

The staff needs some serious attitude improvements. They rarely if ever greet you first and have attitudes once they do. I've seen this trend for over 3 years now.

We really like this location. We've been doing takeout here almost weekly for months. It's one of the few restaurants everyone in our family of 5 agrees on. It's also healthier than many other fast casual options. Our food is always fresh and curbside is speedy! The only negative is the pricing is a little steep but we can deal with that given the quality and service.

This is definitely the quietest CAVA I've been to in the DC area. I don't know if that's because it's relatively new (~ six months or so), the surrounding area, or this location's proximity to the established CAVA in Montgomery Mall, but it's still the same food, just without the wait.

Worst Cava of all locations and I LOVE CAVA, this location Lacks portions. They barely gave me any chicken. I asked politely for more chicken, they smiled at me and gave me two more small pieces (not even exaggerating). I usually go to the one in montgomery mall and it's great.
