Disappointing Experience I paid $14.40 expecting a portion size that reflected the price. However, when I opened the bowl at home, I was surprised to find such a small amount of food that the bottom of the container was clearly visible. Unfortunately, this ruined my dinner and left me very dissatisfied. I will not be returning, and I plan to share my experience across food review platforms, including Google. In my opinion, this meal did not offer fair value for the money paid.

Ordered the Greek Salad with chicken for take out. Meal had very little lettuce and barely filled half of the bowl. Not worth the price.

Been ordering from this location consistently for a few months now. I've noticed that the morning crew is significantly more stingy than the closing crew. In fact the closing/afternoon crew usually serves good and fair portions for the price we pay. Regardless it is delicious but that is definitely a consistent issue here.

I had CAVA in the University Park area and the bowl they gave me was full. I come to this location on my way to work and the bowl was only halfway filled, not to mention I got the old leftover spicy lamb meatballs. I paid 18 dollars for this tiny bowl - which is highway robbery for food. If I would've known I would get so little food, I would've eaten elsewhere.

Terrible Experience with the Harissa Pita Chips I was really excited to try the new Harissa Pita Chips at CAVA, but it was a total letdown. I picked up my order and quickly realized the chips were rock solid—completely inedible. I went back inside and explained the issue, and to their credit, the staff was polite and gave me a new bag. Unfortunately, the second batch was just as bad. Hard as a rock. I couldn’t even eat them. It honestly felt like I was going to break a tooth trying. At that point, I just gave up. Really disappointing experience. I expect better quality from CAVA, especially when trying something new on the menu. Definitely not worth the hype—or the dental risk.

Still such a good Cava spot! The staff was really awesome! They were engaging, offered a free pita, talked about their new offerings and just fast! I came at a busy time but they kept their calm and got straight to it! Got a delicious yet healthy bowl with chicken, a drink and was happy to find a spot! Place is clean and bright!

First time here today with a friend who recommended this to me. I was VERY impressed!! I got the garlicky chicken shawarma bowl and literally asked for every last topping on it. Best choice ever! The fresh lemonades and juices are amazing and the food is so fresh and so delicious. Service was great and everyone was so friendly. It's a great place to go for lunch as the food is light. The line was really long but moved very quickly. If you haven't tried this place out just yet, I encourage you to do so! Yum!!

Sunday after church lunch with the fam. Trying to be healthy and lite-ish. Food is really good for "fast food." Chicken and rice bowl and harissa chicken are solid choices. Drink choices are very hipster. Not a coke or Pepsi i sight. 4 stars because they are slooooow. Not that many people were in line but it seemed to take several minutes to process each one of us. Maybe add somebody on the front line to help. It ain't cheap so you have the overhead to add one more.

I'm usually not one to complain but seeing how the meat was undercooked made me feel pretty grossed out. The service was good but I would just suggest to have proper food protocols being followed this shouldn't be acceptable.

Placed a delivery order on Father's Day, and one bowl in our order was only 1/2 full. It's like they ran out of ingredients, and just decided they wouldn't make any more. Paid for extra falafel, didn't get it. No hummus, no broccoli, no corn... literally half of what was on the order was missing. Completely disappointed. The manager on duty should be ashamed.

Simply....No! I'll start with the finale straw. After I got my food I went to find a table and most were dirty. If there is a single turn off for me it's that. A few months ago I ate at the NorthPark Mall location and was impressed. Portions were generous,service efficient and cheerful and the place looked clean and inviting. Today's dishes: Spicy lamb meatball- this was a complete disaster. The young lady preparing it didn't want to be there and it showed as she slopped the ingredients on a stone cold pita. Hard pass on this one folks Harissa Avocado Chicken- this dish was much better...prepared by another worker also. Still chicken, overcooked and dry...chopped into too small pieces. I was looking at Yelp deciding which location to try and couldn't understand the 3 star averages. Being a newish corporate chain you would think they would have all the minor details that affect the big picture under control. I haven't eliminated CAVA from my " healthier" eating list. But,I will never return to this poorly managed location.

Food/price ratio is great. The abundance of toppings and dressings allows it to be enjoyed by almost anyone. The service was very fast and efficient, and the ambiance of the place was pretty standard for any casual dining spot. Don't forget the free pita with your bowl order!

This is the best location I've been to in the DFW and I've been to three or four different locations. The food is always fresh, and the staff here is phenomenal and always very kind. They're quick, I've eaten inside and gone through the drive thru and haven't had a bad experience from this location.

Pathetic service, I walked in at 9:52 pm after I just finished work late and the manager told me "my register says it's 10 we are closed" - so I guess my iPhone is off by 8 minutes... I love cava and most locations have great customer service, but to turn me down before you're even closed is pretty weak especially with sass and a blatant lie. Definitely won't be back to this location, why say you're open until 10 pm if you're not.

Meh. Annoying experience. Staff can't be bothered to help you order a grain bowl. Tried to get the Greek as rice bowl and looking at the menu it's clear they should have told me to do a make your own grains bowl bowl, but with not much line that was too much. I ordered no chicken and don't get a credit for that charged $2 more for a mini scoop of rice on greens and something in there was odd spicy, not good spicy. Vegetarians always get taken. If they'd just bothered to acknowledge there are rice bowls I would not have left hungry and annoyed. I've had good cava over a year ago but this ain't it. Two stars for the blueberry lavender tea, playing the Clash, and having real forks, not just plastic waste.

I've ordered twice so far from here! On my first visit, I tried the pre curated menu items (Harissa Avocado Bowl and Spicy Chicken Avocado Bowl). Both were pretty good and was enough food for lunch and dinner. I did a BYOB on my next visit and decided to try the meatballs. The meatballs were kinda dry and lacking flavor - wasn't as big of a fan compared to the chicken. Overall, Cava is a decent place for generous portions and healthier food options.

They consistently get orders wrong or leave out key ingredients. It's frustrating after having have paid for items that aren't included. Waste of money and for that l won't be back. It happens every time. Not a one off.

I love CAVA so much. I go there too much at this point. Majority of the time the service is amazing. Then there is the 1%. Other than that, I love the pita wraps they have. So dang good. I go 2x a week. I have visited multiple locations but this location mostly. As always, I'll be back.

Horrible customer service . They don't make you feel welcome while ordering food. I don't live in Texas and was visiting Dallas when we ran into this place . Figured it's like Chipotle but there were many more options and hence took a bit of time to go through all the options. The lady serving the bowl was extremely impatient and her body language reflected clearly she was not interested to serve . Her demeanor was same towards by 8 year old son which is pathetic. Food might be good but this attitude of staff should change. Highly disappointed !!

If you're looking for a fresh, healthier meal with loads of flavor, this is the spot! The portions are decent sized, and I love the selections and variety toppings. Service is okay, sometimes slow and not personable, but the food is worth it. Restaurant is clean and bathrooms are decent.

First visit. Lunch with my son. We both had bowls and went half-and-half between lentils and lettuce. I had the braised lamb as a protein and also chicken. I found the sauces to be delightful. All of the toppings were very fresh. Everything seem to be produced on site. We both light our meals and normally would find this a slam dunk win. I was surprised by the very significant charge for the braised lamb but that's on me. I could not see the sign because the print was small. I, my big problem was the cleanliness of the men's restroom. If that is a fail, how can you consider the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant? Well, probably because the urinal is mounted too low, a very large portion of the floor was flooded with urine. The bathroom smell very bad. It was disgusting. I'm not sure how they can fix this outside of extreme cleaning measures and moving the urinal. That said, it was bad enough that I won't come back anytime soon. I really can't think of a better way to express how offputting that part of the experience was. Everything said, it's very sad that a eating establishment can provide a product which is high-quality and fairly priced while delicious and still not be on my favorites list. ********** F A I L !!!! **********

We order from this cava a decent amount. Normally the portions are very good. Tonight not only were our orders wrong we were barely given any rice and or chicken. The bowls were half filled. Disappointing as this is a place we frequent and will reconsider next time.

Love!! This place is right down the street from my workplace, I don't know why I haven't tried it soon. Got the salad bowl, lentils, braised lamb, chicken, olives, feta, hummus, Dill yogurt, avocado, cumbers, tomato's and pita strips. It's enough for two people, the portions are huge. The lamb is sooo good. I also got the cumber, mint drink which I will be grabbing weekly. Very fresh! Service was also amazing! The ladies at the counter were amazing and helpful. Lilly was delightful. Thanks CAVA!

We left hungry! That has never happened at CAVA before. Our grain and green bowls were puny and pathetic. We had to ask for extra rice and greens and even then, it didn't come close to a regular serving. On the bowl with steak, a portion cup was used to measure and it was not filled because they ran out of steak. When questioned the young man preparing the bowl just shrugged and moved down the line. We added avocado to both bowls- we were given black avocado. We had to ask for it to be removed and replaced. The young lady working behind the counter was helpful and friendly. She is the only reason we're giving 2 stars. We were very disappointed in this location.

I was so disappointed with the service I had received from this location! I am a huge CAVA fan and have had multiple good experiences but unfortunately when I had ordered from this location it took me about 30 minutes to get my food. I had ordered online and went to go pick it up via drive through and it took such a long time. After I received my food, they also forgot to give me one part of my order so I had to go through the drive through again. The food itself was amazing as always, but the service made it a disappointing experience overall.

Came here to get some healthy takeout. I got the basaltic date chicken (a seasonal bowl) and liked it a lot! It's a huge bowl so I ate it for two meals. The staff was also really fast in putting the bowl together. I remember having CAVA a few times when I was in LA, but could not recall what the taste was like back then. I hope there could be some stores in California Bay Area too!

Yesterday I went to Cava for the first time along with a friend it was amazing. Not only was the food amazing but the customer service was as too if not better. Ricky served us and his customer service was great! He was patient with us and let us try the things we were interested in. He answered any questions we had and served with a great positive attitude along with a smile. You don't find customer service as good as Ricky gave us anymore. He along with the food is why I'll be returning back to Cava. Thank you Ricky!

I have been wanting to try cava since I first heard about it 4 months ago, but we don't live close to one and it was never convenient. We finally ordered it to take home for dinner, I wanted to give them more stars, but the food was inedible and when I called to tell them (and hopefully save some other customers from the same problem), the customer service was lacking. Not that the girl on the phone was rude, she just didn't seem to really care. I ordered 4 bowls- 3 of the date chicken bowls and 1 of the chicken and right rice bowl. I asked for all of the dressings in the side (particularly because I was saving one bowl for my lunch tomorrow and didn't want it to get soggy). Here were the issues: Stale/hard brown rice: The first bite I took into my bowl, I noticed it was crunch and had hard bits in it I couldn't seem to chew. Upon further investigation, this was the rice- crunchy and honestly hurt my teeth to chew. I tried to eat around it, but the rice was mixed throughout the bowl and ended up picking out the chicken and tossing the rest. The other people I got the bowls for also had the crunchy rice that didn't even break apart when chewed. Food not prepared correctly: The right rice and chicken bowl I ordered for my lunch and asked for the dressing on the side- the dressing was all over it. I don't have anything else for lunch, so I'm going to take it. But I'm afraid it will be soggy and I'll end up tossing that one too. Customer service: I called the restaurant after we got our food home, and she said I could back and get a free bowl (even though we had 4 bowls made incorrectly). Her explanation was that sometimes the rice on the bottom just gets hard, and I asked why they didn't just throw it out instead of serving hard rice to their guests, but didn't really get an answer. It frustrated me that she seemed aware that it was a problem; but just didn't care enough to fix it. While I was ordering, I noticed them refill the rice. Rather than taking out the old stuff- they just put the new stuff on top of the old, hard rice. I wish I would have realized that the old rice was going into my bowl, but I had my 4 year old with me and was distracted. On the plus side- my four year old ordered the kids meal with right right rice that was not stale and perfectly edible. He was the only one that enjoyed his meal. I wanted so badly to like this place. It's a bummer that the rice made the food inedible (and we tried- but rice that can not be chewed is something I couldn't get past) and that the bowl I ordered for the next day will be soggy. This place had the potential to become a go-to easy meal and with the fresh ingredients and flavors, it would have been worth the drive if it was good. I might give them another shot; but that experience did not leave me wanting to.

I understand they had a water leak on the specific day I came. I got there at 9:20 pm not knowing they were online order only, but before I could submit my order at 9:40 pm - it was too late. I pulled in through the drive through and they stated the last online order had to be submitted before 9:20 pm. Little had I known as they did not have any notation of this situation anywhere and went home with no food for two people. Cava Richardson; I'd recommend not setting an advanced 40 minute order cutoff before your closing time at 10 pm or to please notate this.
