Love Cava! I work on the road and it’s always my first stop for a healthy meal. Carmel Mountain staff are great!

Google
RAW CHICKEN SERVED HERE. Pickup wait time almost an hour past scheduled time. We watched around 6 lines of full people pass up ordering, yet a group of 10 of us were waiting and waiting for our online order. The girl at the front was rude when asking about our bowl, no one wants to wait over an hour for a cava bowl or we would have gone elsewhere. We then go home and started eating both our bowls and we realized we were served completely RAW chicken and noticed AFTER eating a few bites. We didn't notice due to our toppings but this chicken was completely raw, not even just pink. I was horrified when I saw what I had just eaten. Even a few bites made us severely sick with food poisoning. Just because you're short staffed and behind on orders, shouldn't mean you rush cooking time. This could land someone in hospital. The location is dirty and unsanitary, trash overflowed everywhere, and really needs to sort this out. The staff looked so stressed out which should have been a HUGE red flag that standards were not being upheld. The reviews show that this isn't a one time event, or random short staffing even, but rather a continuous and dangerous issue. Go to any cava BUT this one. This is so dangerous and unacceptable.

On a Friday evening, only 2 sauces available, drink dispensers empty trash overflowing to counters, also no forks. Outstanding issues leaves a negative experience for your customers. I hope management addresses issues or hire more passionate employees. Hit and miss with this location.

I made my own bowl here — you can choose one or two base, up to 3 dips, toppings, and dressing. The food was extremely delicious and such a great option for healthy eating at a good price! I tried the tahini caesar sauce, which was unique and super tasty. The staff were very nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. I also had their seasonal juice (cucumber & mint), and it was so refreshing and delicious! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for fresh, flavorful, and healthy food.I will absolutely come back over and over!

Google
Liz along with so many other staff have been very kind and generous! I come so often that they practically know my order and I love our interactions. Food is always great! Bang for buck And I can never get sick of it. If you go as often as I do, get the reward app. I’ve already gotten 4 free bowls in my 3 months of visiting.

Ate here for the first time and the food was really good; service was good enough. But I doubt we'll be back -- the eating area was filthy! There wasn't a single table that didn't have crumbs/food on it from the previous diners; likewise, the floor was in desperate need of a thorough sweeping and probably mopping. (In fact, it's hard to believe that it was cleaned properly and thoroughly after closing the day before.) The two trash bins were full and ready to overflow. The black iced tea on the fountain drinks counter was filled with water; no tea. This was at 4pm on a Saturday, so it's not like it was in the middle of the lunch or dinner rush and the team was slammed and just couldn't get around to cleaning. The scary thing is that if this is how dirty the FRONT of the house is, what's it like in the kitchen area?!? (Trying not to think about it now!) Owner/manager needs to pay better attention to the appearance of this restaurant. I meant to check if it had a health department rating card in the window when we left, but I forgot. Wouldn't be surprised if it was less than an A.

Google
Healthy food and great options, but definitely can use a lesson or two in cleanliness and how to give good customer service. I like that they give options to customise the bowls, but their portions are smaller compared to other similar food-chains. It’s also absurd to charge for a literal spoonful of dip where other Mediterranean restaurants offer it for free or for a lesser cost or provide at least a decent sized portion. I have a very mixed feeling about coming back to this restaurant.

Google
Understaffed Mess with trash piling in the corner, Empty Drink machines. I could normally look past this. However, I ordered Online and received basically 25% of what my bowl should be. A sprinkle of rice, no toppings, Just Steak and Lettuce. This is criminal to charge $15 per bowl without having the actual ingredients. This is my mixed bowl without even taking a bite. This is unacceptable and I feel SCAMMED out of the 40 bucks I paid

Yelp
Stopped by for an after 1pm lunch. Most tables were full and maybe 1-2 people in line. First time here and we got three things -greek salad -steak pita - steak bowl - plus honey harissa chips They ran out of chicken and when I asked the girl how long she asked a cook and then told me it would be a long time. I think it would have been more appropriate and appreciated if I was given a time frame (15mins, etc). Got steak instead. Tables were dirty but no one was cleaning them so I asked for a towel to wipe it. A nice girl came out about 5 mins later to wipe and clean tables. I would come back here again but maybe just do take out or come earlier. Really loved the pita chips and my family enjoyed their meals

Yelp
The service was questionable in the beginning, but the server was clearly in training like come on this was not a well timed training for a busy day. She skimped me on the rice as well as my companion, like come on the rice is not that expensive just give me more! However the did recover with the portions that they gave me. I will be watching from afar for this places growth. From, Food reviewer Logan

Yelp
Tried CAVA Rancho Bernardo after reading a good foodie write-up on CAVA. This location did CAVA as a brand little justice. The bowl and pita we ordered were tasty, however this location really needs to get some basics right. It was not busy yet more than half the tables were dirty with traces of food and overall just grubby. There were also discarded napkins scattered on the floors and the trash cans were over full. They had run out of pickled onion which were part of both meal items. We substituted. I also wanted a side order Harissa Pita chips and a Strawberry Citrus drink (that was displayed on the 'promotional' board), neither was available. The rest rooms were also 'yuch' Altogether a most disappointing pre-movie dinner. We will not be trying CAVA again

Yelp
Stopped by on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't busy about 5 people dining in. No one was in line but it took almost 5 mins of me standing there to get acknowledgment and served. I ordered the harissa honey chicken pita, it's my favorite. The chicken is so good. The serving size was generous, the pita was big, I didn't know how I was going to bite into it. But I was starving so I finished it. There were lots of empty dirty tables. They didn't have any forks available and didn't bother asking because I was hungry and just wanted to eat. This would be the 3rd location I've visited, service and cleanliness may differ depending on the location but that doesn't stop me from going because the food is always great!

Yelp
Mmmm I LOVE CAVA!!! DELICIOUS FOOD. I took my mom here for mother's day because she wanted a salad. The line was long, but it went pretty fast. A lot of sitting room. They need to be better at cleaning the tables when people leave. I had a strawberry mint drink, BOMB!!! Highly recommend if you never been!

Yelp
Amazing portions for the price! Good flavors and variety of toppings when building a bowl. I will say I think it is on the saltier side, but still very tasty. The cookie was great as well.
google avatar

Yelp
I totally agree with some bad reviews here. This place is absolutely dirty and the staff is horrible. I asked the staff to clean the table to which he came and made a watery mess on the table that we ourselves had to clean. Bathroom was out of order too. Management should absolutely look into this location's staff. They pretty much have a dont care attitude.

Yelp
Ordered online for an 8:45pm pick and still had to wait over 20 mins in person meanwhile those who waited in line got their food faster. Had to ask several times to check on my order while being completely ignored. Finally got my food at 9:05pm. I ordered a drink which they were completely out of, there were no utensils, no straws, trash was over flowing. Missing items in my order as well. Severely disappointed by this location on numerous occasions and this is the last time I will ever come here.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with a friend on a weekday. Lucky for us we beat the lunch rush. We sat down and suddenly there were over a dozen people in line but the line went fairly quickly. This is like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. The have their signature prepared bowls and pitas that you can customize or you can build your own bowl/pita/plate. I ordered the lamb meatball pita. I added the spicy harissa sauce to mine. The pita was pretty tasty. My only complaint would be that there was too sauce so the pita was getting soggy. And messy to eat! I might have them go light on the sauce next time or give me it on the side instead. There is a nice selection of juices too such as Blackberry Lavender, Cucumber Mint, Pineapple Mint, black tea, lemonade, etc. Love the cucumber mint juice. So yummy with a little bit of sweetness! I think I had three cups of it. Lots of seating inside with a nice outdoor patio in front. Two clean public restrooms.

Yelp
Cava in Carmel Mountain has quickly become one of my favorite spots! If you're looking for a fast, customizable, and flavorful meal, this place is so good. It's like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle where you stand in line and select what you want as you go. The harissa honey chicken is my go-to protein--it's perfectly tender with a slight kick of spice that's just right. I recommend going for a bowl, which seems to be the most popular choice here. I love loading mine up with all kinds of toppings. My favorite is the pita strips. They add the perfect crunch and flavor to the bowl, and honestly, I could eat an entire bowl of just those! Cava is a great option for a quick, satisfying meal that doesn't feel like fast food. The fresh ingredients, bold Mediterranean flavors, and customizable options make it a perfect option for a quick and healthy meal.

Yelp
Food 5/5: I loved my bowl, you create your own and so I choose everything I like Service 5/5: the guy making my bowl was super kind, he explained everything that I had questions about and was super chill Ambiance 5/5: Tons of seating and space, the prices are a little expensive but worth it in my opinion

Yelp
Rice is always undercooked here!! My roommates and I want to like Cava so bad. We order from here often despite SUPER crunchy, undercooked rice that we get every single time (plus they give the smallest scoop of it). Surely that's not how it's supposed to be. We don't like crunchy rice
google avatar

Nefi Del Pilar R.

Yelp
This place quality has gone down a lot. Today we order and our rice was undercooked and the meat as well. They are always running out of ingredients too. We used to love cava because of how clean and delicious the food was but lately it has gone down.

Yelp
This location is always pretty crowded, so upon walking by one Monday night and seeing it pretty empty I took the opportunity to step in. It was empty save for like a couple or two. Cava is rub kinda chipotle style but for healthy bowls. I decided to go for the falafel bowl. I didn't know much about all the options to opted to have to made the way it is on the menu. The bowl was pretty meh. It could be my fault because I liked could have customized it to be more to my taste. The falafel itself was pretty sad, I'd complain about the small amount they give you, but in my case it didn't matter. It was just pretty tasteless and needed whatever they have that could give it more of a punch of flavor. It was however healthy lol The service was ok. The guy who made my bowl looked like he wished he was anywhere else doing something else and I can't blame him, sucks to be on your feet working. Anyway, he was friendly but I don't care very much given I'm not going through the line to get my smile fix for the day. The restaurant itself was surprisingly filthy. All the tables were dirty and the trash was overflowing. The soda machine wasn't working, although I didn't care much about that either because I didn't fancy a soda. I wanted water! They did provide water and free cups! Fancy! So in all it was just a meh experience. I know lots of folks who absolutely LOVE this restaurant (especially the La Jolla location), so maybe I just had an especially off experience? I will probably end up coming back to give it another chance. I just can't accept it being so meh given the many fans they have...

Yelp
One of the better CAVA locations in SD! Service is very fast and friendly, I never have to wait too long in line. And they give you large scoops of meat and overall great portions! I never feel like I get shorted here. I love their mediterranean flavors, I've never been disappointed with a bowl. I'm a true CAVA girlie, I actualy stopped going to Chipotle because CAVA is miles better in every way! I love to do a build your own greens and grains bowl with: - saffron basmati rice - super greens - grilled chicken - dips: crazy feta, harissa, any of the hummus, or tzatziki - toppings: cabbage slaw, extra pickled onions, cucumber, pita crisps - dressings: garlic and skhug on the side! - don't forget the free pita
google avatar

Jamie D.

Yelp
Great fast-casual spot for build-your-own Mediterranean bowls and pita wraps. You pick your base--greens, grains, or pita--then choose dips, proteins, and toppings. My go-to is the grilled chicken bowl with tzatziki and feta; flavors always feel fresh and balanced. Portions are solid and customizable, which is ideal when dining with friends who all want something different. The space is bright and welcoming, and even during the busy lunch rush, the line moves quickly. Staff are upbeat and helpful, offering good recommendations and keeping things efficient. Not perfect every time--on crowded days, they can feel understaffed, which leads to slower service or messy tables. But the food quality makes up for it, and it's a healthy, flavorful option that's hard to beat for quick Mediterranean. Solid choice for a satisfying, fresh lunch or casual dinner.

Yelp
CAVA is one of my favorite places to go for a quick and healthy meal. You can basically call it the Mediterranean version of chipotle. Ordering styles are exactly the same. What I love about CAVA is there are so many different ingredients to choose from and it's so fresh. Their falafel is soooo delicious. I tend to get my bowl pretty standard (without the add-ons). With a side of pit bread it comes out to less than $13. I honestly prefer it over Chipotle any day.

Yelp
So I will start with the positive. The food is great and as many have stated, it's a chipotle style build your own bowl type of place. The food is generally good, healthy and a good value. That's where all the good ends, though. Every single time you go in the staff is rude, the restaurant tables are dirty, and the employees could care less about being friendly or being helpful. It's not going keep me from going, but if I had my choice I would go to a different CAVA, as I hope this is not the experience at the other locations.

Arlene A.

Yelp
This is the 2nd time that we ordered ahead of time and had an extremely long wait. This time we waited 35 minutes after it was promised. When my husband firmly asked the cashier to speak to a manager, she wouldn't get one and said, "You're yelling at an 18 year old girl." Instead of potentially diffusing the situation, she tried to humiliate him. What's already humiliating is watching dozens of people walk in, order, and eat while you thought to order ahead of time and had to wait.
google avatar

Dylan D.

Yelp
Love the flavors of this place! Located in Caramel Mountain in a pretty large shopping area, this location is my first experience with Cava. This business operates very similar to how Chipotle does their ordering which is where you tell the employee what you would like on either your bowl/pita bread and you design it from there. There's some pretty great options to choose from with the meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.; so it's easy enough to create something that tastes great. Service is always attentive and they're able to get through the lines quickly without any issue. Big shoutout to Michael, Joey, and Tony for making it such a great experience every time we come in!

Yelp
I've been to this location three times and, most likely, never again. They are always understaffed and underprepared for the demand. I was in line with 20 other people that had us out the door. At one point they had to close the doors and tell people to come back in 40 minutes because of the demand and to catch up on online orders (signed pictured). And any online order placed were so backed up that people who had ordered and told their food was ready by the app had to wait additional time because their order was, in fact, not ready. Luckily, I was one of the few people who made the cut off in line. Unfortunately, when I was able to order, they were out of regular bowls, so they had to use ones only for online orders, they didn't have 2 of the meats I asked for in the moment, and once I tried to go eat, the whole facility was out of forks. They only had spoons and knives. How do you eat a salad with a spoon and a knife?! When you are able to eat in the facility, the tables are always dirty or sticky. Again, probably because of the short staffing. This place gets 2 stars for the food because Cava itself has a solid menu (when you can get the items you want) but loses 3 for everything listed above. Go find another Cava.
google avatar

Alexis L.

Yelp
If you order to go, your order will most likely be wrong. EVERY.TIME. Even if they're not busy. Beware. The Del Mar location never disappoints.
google avatar

Fumika T.

Yelp
Visiting from the Bay Area, this was the first meal I had in San Diego for the week. I'm shocked to be trying CAVA for the first time. The place was pretty crowded on a Friday around noon, and our party of 3 had to fit facing out the window as those were the only seats available. I got half chicken half sweet potato (seasonal special) with tzatziki, hot harissa, and eggplant, and mostly everything else other than olives. It was so satisfying, non-bloating, and tasteful. I don't think I can ever go back to a Costco salad. Please come to the Bay Area in NorCal!

Yelp
Consistently the worst service in any restaurant here in SD/North County. Literally never have any toppings and I stand there for 20+ minutes every time just waiting for the workers to finish a single order. There's no sense of urgency in anyone including what looked like the shift manager. One girl looked like she was playing Operation just trying to replace what toppings they had left. It's actually ridiculous. San Marcos location is 1000000x better. I keep coming here to give the benefit of the doubt every few months but they just keep getting worse. Do better yall

Yelp
Hi, I'm a regular customer and usually love visiting CAVA, but I wanted to share some feedback about a very disappointing experience I had today at the Carmel Mountain Ranch location. Unfortunately, the location was severely understocked. The only available grains were lentils and brown rice. There were no cucumbers, no roasted vegetables, no dressings, no drinks, etc and even the kid's meal was missing basic items like carrots and pita chips. I had ordered two bowls and a kid's meal, and due to the lack of ingredients, both bowls felt incomplete and not worth the price I paid. What made the experience even more frustrating was that after being told there were no dressings available, I saw staff bring out two dressings shortly after I had already finished my order--without any being offered to me. I understand that occasional shortages can happen, but the lack of communication, availability, and overall service today was extremely disappointing, especially as a loyal customer. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others in the future. Thank you for your time

Ken T.

Yelp
We've ordered food from this location 3 or 4 times now, always To Go. Every time the order has taken 15-30 minutes longer than quoted, so we hadn't tried them in awhile. Gave them another try tonight, but that was a mistake. At 45 minutes after the food was supposed to be ready, they finally informed me that they were out of steak, and it "was going to be awhile" unless I switched the protein to something else. I cancelled our order, but since it was an online order, and no one there knew how to cancel an online order or issue a refund. They just said "Call CAVA." There is a Sweetgreens in 4S, five minutes away. Save yourself the aggravation, go there instead
google avatar

Liz I.

Yelp
I've always loved CAVA and have visited many locations, so I was excited to finally check this one out. Given how busy it was, I expected a bit of chaos, but I was still looking forward to a great experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. From the moment my daughter and I went to order, the staff was rude and inconsiderate. I clearly stated my order, yet they kept dramatically rolling their eyes and even dumping out the bowl and starting over as if they weren't listening. I was ordering for myself and my young child, and instead of being helpful, they seemed visibly annoyed--rolling their eyes and acting completely put out. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of customer service, and this location fell short in every way. The bathrooms were filthy, and the overall attitude of the staff was unacceptable. After I paid, the cashier simply said, "Okay, bye," with no acknowledgment, and to top it off, they wouldn't even hand me my food--I had to reach over the counter to grab it myself. I was floored by the lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and basic customer service. I truly hope management takes immediate steps to improve, because this experience was beyond disappointing.

Yelp
Love coming to this Cava is my go to lunch spot when I am craving tasty Mediterranean food! The staff is always friendly and welcoming ! Shout out to Carolina who helped me make the best bowl !!

Yelp
We stopped by for lunch while shopping in the area. Overall a positive experience! Cava is the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. You go down the line picking your food items and can mix and match. You can get a wrap, bowl, or salad. There are a lot of protein, sides, dressings, and topping choices. I found the bowl to be very filling for a reasonable price ($12-14). The food was fresh and tasty. The restaurant is very casual with both indoor and outdoor seating. The parking lot is large but fills up quickly during busy hours. My one suggestion is to have multiple workers on the line. I was there around 11am and one girl was doing all the food and the cash register. There were only 2 people ahead of me but I ended up waiting 10 minutes to be served. During the lunch and dinner rush, I could see this line easily backing up. Definitely willing to stop by again for the food portion and price!

Kim M.

Yelp
Came earlier on a Friday night. 5:30 PM. Still quiet, but by 6pm, the line was out the door! I can see why. Servers were friendly, answering all our ingredients questions. The food is really delicious and fresh. No cover ups or heavy flavors. The counters were a bit messy and the containers were running low on toppings. However, I am happy to have come here and look forward to enjoying more meals in the future.

Matt R.

Yelp
Order online is NEVER quicker than just waiting in line. Usually out of some ingredients. Wait is always outrageous.

Victor C.

Yelp
Very dirty. Out of ice and specially drinks , all 6 of them. They are always out of these drinks. Both trash cans are over full and there is no where to put the trash. The trash is piling up no the table. Not coming back to this location.
google avatar

Angel L.

Yelp
Full transparency, this is the second cava I've ever ordered from. I usually order cava through doordash at work in LA County but I was visiting my brother and this location was close by. We had ordered online and picked up in store. I got my usual and idk why but my bowl felt more wet? Also they didn't give me the sauce I had ordered on the side; it also wasn't in my bowl either so idk. It also wasn't as full as I normally get it either from my usual location. Otherwise it was fine. It still tasted good but just overall quality felt not as fresh for some reason.
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
All my notes say is "So fresh and so clean clean". And I think that's right! This is a subway/Chipotle-style setup. You get a bowl or wrap and you pick all your stuff. If you're indecisive and aren't sure what you want, go ahead and get out of the line and watch this: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2qTJ3e7sh14 There are also some pre-programmed menu items if you don't know what food you like to eat. The gist of the menu is Mediterranean-style bowls and warps of proteins and fresh veggies with house-made sauces. If I lived in the area, I would eat here for lunch almost every day.

courtney j.

Yelp
Waited in line for 30 mins at 8:30pm. They were extremely understaffed. There was only one employee making bowls and payment. They were out of lots of ingredients. Two of the meat options appeared to be sitting there for too long at the wrong temperature because the fat had harden. They were completely out of their drinks. Dirty tables and filled trash cans. We love Cava but this location desperately needs a lot of attention from management. Please save this location and train your employees very well.

Yelp
I was on a diet and I order one of their high calorie (880+ calories) and most expensive bowl ($17), Harissa Avocado Chicken. I'm just curious about the taste of their most expensive item in their menu. And I was happy I ordered it. I ate half for lunch at the restaurant and the other half for dinner at home. It's so difficult to describe the taste. The photo (see attached) looks like a mess but it's a feast of very complementary flavors coming from the honey chicken, the hummus, the pickled onion, the avocado, the roasted corn, the greens and chicken cucumber, the crazy feta dip, and their special Harissa vinaigrette. The only thing I replaced, which they allowed was the basmati rice. I got the black lentils. I would go back to this place and try their lemon herb tahini and tahini Caesar.
google avatar

Sylvia O.

Yelp
We've been here 3 times in the last 3 weeks, so I think we're hooked! Love the build your own bowl option where you can choose whatever ingredients you want in your bowl. My go to BYOB usually consists of: Super greens, basmati rice, hummus, tzatziki, eggplant dip, potatos, lamb, falafel, tomato + cucumber, feta, olives, lettuce, yogurt dill, garlic dressing, date vinaigrette, and pita chips. I don't get them all at the same time, but I usually gravitate towards those ingredients. Lots of vegan options as well.

Achley L.

Yelp
I can get over the wait for good food but this establishment is dirty. It's managed by what appeara to be a bunch of teenagers, who are less than thrilled to be working there.
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
I LOVE CAVA! Food is so good and flavorful you forget it is actually healthy. Order ahead for easy and fast pick up as location can get busy. 10/10

Rei O.

Yelp
I came in tonight (8/2) around 10pm and the two women working were amazing! I came in right after a rush and they were out of a lot of stuff but they went out of their way to make sure I got everything possible and even made a singular falafel so that I would have a full serving. Top tier service I'll definitely come back
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! I went to CAVA because it just looks healthy and yummy all at the same time. Guess what....it is!!! Went here with a friend, lots of parking so no need to worry. I was a little nervous as I wasn't sure what to expect when I got in line. Tried to get my friend to go first so I could watch, but they were having none of that. As I neared the front, it started to become apparent that this place was similar to a poke bowl restaurant but Mediterranean. Base ordered, scoops ordered, toppings placed, protein chosen, and then sauces (on the side for me) were last. Don't forget to ask for the crunchy topping as it's not up front. I also added the pita chips...trust me just get them. They are not too soft but just right and the seasoning on them...amazing! My bowl didn't need the added sauce. It tasted amazing alone. I used the sauce to dip my pita in. I love this place so much that I ordered it again this week! That should definitely tell you that it's yummy and healthy.

Yelp
I was so excited to come back and get my Spicy Greens fix and the falafels were hard as rocks!! My hubby had the same issue. You literally could not even poke the falafel with your fork to eat it. No bueno. It was about 4PM on a Friday night so maybe they made a huge batch way too early in the day and served them up in the evening? I don't know, but it was completely inedible and we ended up just eating the remainder of the salad ingredients. Service was lackluster this time around too which was a disappointment plus they forgot our pitas which we had to go back in line to ask for. The guy kept forgetting what I wanted to order after I repeated it 3 times. Sigh. Not sure if it was just an off day but we both were bummed about our meals and the experience this time around...it was our healthy go to spot but not so much that day. We may check out the other location in La Jolla to see if it's better there. 3 stars.

Yelp
This was delish!!!!! We discover eats which I don't usually love to do... when it's a slightly more pricey lunch. Outside of the price, it's great!! I had the honey chicken bowl. I enjoyed everything in it. I did the half arugula and half rice. SOOOO GOOOOD!! The "hot vinaigrette" was my absolute favorite!!! I also liked the hummus. I was not huge on the feta tahini though. My bowl was $21. Pretty pricey but for a once in a while lunch it was very good!

Yelp
My daughter and I were trying to decide on something different dinner one night and ended up finally trying Cava. We're sort of bummed it took us this long to try it out. We placed our order online and even though it was super busy our order was ready fairly quickly. Best thing is you get to pick from several options, all fresh and what we had was quite tasty. We each went with a build your own bowl and I think that is the best option. I got chicken which was good but not sure there was much in my bowl. There was plenty of grains, rice, and greens though. Did not interact with the staff much since we just picked up from the rack but what we saw while waiting they seemed nice. Will be trying again for aurey!

Yelp
We have been frequenting Cava for a considerable amount of time, and overall, our experience has been quite positive. While we have no grievances regarding the staff, we did encounter an issue with the food today. Do they cook their brown rice or do they put it in a pot, heat it up a bit, then serve it? The brown rice was really hard and I had to eat carefully because I don't want to go to the dentist for a chipped tooth! We'll still go back but will stay away from brown rice!

Yelp
The service junior provided during my last visit was impeccable! The food was tasty and full of flavor, he gave great recommendations for which sauce I should add to my bowl that would complement the flavors! I will definitely be back and I can't wait to see what he recommends next!

Yelp
Food was healthy and delicious. No problem there. Although the meat servings were so small (2 small pieces lamb meatballs, 3 small pieces of steak). It doesn't seem worth it. Service/ambiance - not so good. It seems that they discourage people from dining in. No one cleans the tables. Most of them were dirty and customers have difficulty finding a clean one. Some staff walking back and forth at the back and no one takes the time to wipe the tables. One person replaced the trash bags, but still did not check the tables. Big difference from In-N-Out Burger where staff take the time to pick up and clean. So disappointing!!

Yelp
Do not order online. Longest wait ever. Order multiple times online now and it's the worst. I placed an online order and it gave me an eta of 15 minutes. Got there a little after the 15 minute wait and I noticed there was nobody in line and my order still wasn't ready. I waited another 20 minutes and there wasn't anyone else waiting for an online order. Not sure what was the issue but this happened the last 3 times.
