Cávala was excellent. Perfect for a small group, a romantic dinner or a special occasion. The decoration is modern and chic. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The tasting menu was excellent with the wine pairing. The sommelier was very helpful with his recommendations. The dishes were all excellent and giving ideas of the cuisine of Malaga. The Visual presentation was fantastic.

We highly recommend this Restaurant👍The food was not only delicious, but also a work of art. We were served over 21 appetizers, and each one was exquisite. We were particularly impressed by the chef’s ability to create such fascinating dishes, especially the asparagus dish that looked a pen but was made of asparagus mousse😍 The service was also perfect, with professional and friendly staff. The only thing that could be improved is the lighting- it would be perfect if they could dim the lights a bit😀

We were perfectly accomodated as a group of 20 in the wine cellar and enjoyed the service thoroughly. We could not have been looked after better during our dining experience. The wine selection was impressive and every bottle we selected delivered high quality. The tasting menu was delicious, simple and clearly put together with quality and fresh ingredients, i just felt there was something small lacking, even perhaps something as simple as a touch of salt. I would highly recommend coming to experience this place for yourself as the food is interesting, simple, quality and fresh.

Great food and super service. We chose the 4 course menu and enjoyed every single dish to the fullest! We can only highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Malaga!

We visited Cavala on 21 July for lunch and to celebrate a birthday. We highly enjoyed the entire menu, the service, wines and atmosphere. We were almost bombarded by small apetizers, most of them very creative and flavourful. Next to the large tasting menu we ordered the "plus" wine pairing which was absolutely beautiful and highly recommended. The sommelier really knew what he was talking about , all wines were of high quality and and we also learned something more about sherry(style) wines. Even though one or two of the plates were not at the same high level als most courses, we had a wondeful afternoon and would love to come back here. This place is clearly ambitious and trying to reach for the stars, so to speak. This place may not be cheap but the value for money is absolutely correct.

What a great experience! We spent a great evening enjoying the 10 course tasting menu including a (spontaneous) and very individual wine pairing plus recommended aperitivo cocktail. Service was very attentive but with obvious differences regarding level of quality and routine. Despite the fact that we liked it a lot, it is still some way to go for getting a Michelin Star: taste could have even more finesse, courses could be even more complex / elements and service should be on a more constant high level. That being said, 120€ pp all in is a high, but acceptable price given the wine pairing and the amount of courses.

Nice day with a nice fine dining moment, but one of the service workers had condescending style, well ••••••

I had a wonderful time at Cavala, specially regarding their amazing wine list with such reasonable prices. A big congrats on this and allowing people to drink great wines and not charging x3 or x4 like most.
