Cavcas Beverly Hills - Review - Beverly Hills - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"With its curvy light fixtures and a big tree sprouting from the wall, Cavcas looks like the lobby of a luxury med spa. This Beverly Hills restaurant serves fusion-y Armenian and Georgian dishes like truffle khachapuri, wagyu khinkali, ricotta katafi, and pork rib khorovats, plus cocktails like a Saperavi spritz and the Pomegranate Pulse with house grenadine. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park

Absolutely blown away by Cavcas. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty - shoutout to Mia, the incredible manager, who made our entire experience unforgettable. Her warmth and hospitality took the night to another level! Our server Chandler was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food? Incredible. The beet salad was not only stunning but so fresh and flavorful. The truffle mushroom khachapuri was rich and delicious, and the Cavcas salad had the most delicious blend of textures. We also loved the wagyu dolmas, perfectly cooked lamb entrée, and the juicy wagyu dumplings. And you must save room for dessert - the baklava was to die for. Highly recommend this place. It won’t disappoint!

Just had an amazing dinner at Cavcas at Beverly Hills! 🥂 Everything was absolutely delicious — from the fresh, perfectly seasoned tabbouleh to the most mouthwatering Adjarian khachapuri you can imagine. Salads were crisp and flavorful, and every dish felt like a little celebration of taste. Huge thanks to the friendly and attentive staff who made our girls' brunch even more special. Our beautiful ladies’ crew is giving this place a solid 10/10. Definitely coming back! 💫

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in Beverly Hills! Cavcas Restaurant exceeded all expectations! The atmosphere is chic yet cozy—perfect for a night out or a special dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were a 10/10 across the board. We tried a variety of dishes, and our server was incredible…….Mia helped us choose from the menu, and every single recommendation was spot on. The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a flavorful, elevated dining experience in Beverly Hills. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
We were treated to a wonderfully unique dining experience at Cavcas. The manager Mia was incredibly welcoming, and the waitstaff were helpful in explaining each dish with great suggestions. From the menu specializing in Armenian and Georgian cuisine, we had the Truffle khachapuri (loaded with truffles), Cavcas salad (easily the best dish we had!), wagyu beef khinkhall (delicious soup dumplings), and baklava (tasted just as good as the picture!). Flavors were fresh yet complex, overall perfection! The dining room was tastefully decorated with no detail spared, filled with formal family groups as well as couples. This is a wonderfully executed addition to the culinary landscape in LA, and a great place to celebrate a special meal!! Will be back!

Google
Khachapuri and shashlik, with rich, homemade taste and excellent quality. As someone from Russia, I really appreciate having a place like this that brings the taste of home. Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore real Caucasian flavors

Google
Had a great lunch at Cavcas in Beverly Hills. Me and my girls sat outside on the patio—it was really nice and perfect!)) The food was super fresh and tasty. Loved the flatbread with lamb, and especially the watermelon with cheese—so good and refreshing! The fresh juices were a nice touch. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall just a really good spot for a relaxed meal with great flavors. Would definitely go back to check out the dinner!))

Yelp
I was a bit reluctant to try the " culinary soul of the South Caucasus " but alas, I'm a stickler for trying the unknown...and to my delight, the food was absolutely delicious!! I started off with a fresh, vibrant blaze margarita. It was light and perfect for summer. Later we indulged in a fresh salad and lastly ate succulent lamb chops and juicy chicken khoravats. They were all delicious and melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something different in Beverly Hills. It's not only healthy but also incredibly

Yelp
Disappointing. Didn't get a chance to try the food but their customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. I had a similar experience as other reviewers shared. I got a call two hours before my reservation to unilaterally cancel a pre-planned birthday dinner (booked 1 month in advance). Their explanation (excuse) was being short-staffed. Together with their insincere "apology" and neglect to try to make it up to us, I don't ever plan to give them my patronage in the future. Go elsewhere if you're looking for an event venue. Don't risk a last minute cancellation that throws all your plans in the trash.
google avatar

Olena B.

Yelp
I made a reservation two weeks in advance for a special occasion -- and they canceled it just TWO DAYS before the event, saying they're "fully booked." No apology, no alternative, no solution. Just a cold cancellation notice. This is completely unprofessional, especially from a place that markets itself as high-end in the heart of Beverly Hills. People plan their events in advance, invite guests, arrange everything -- and you ruin it last minute? Unacceptable. I am beyond angry. Never coming back, and I highly recommend others avoid this place unless you want your plans destroyed without warning. CAVCAS: Beverly Hills might be your address, but you clearly have no idea what real hospitality means.

Yelp
Looking for an exciting new date spot? Then Cavcas is your answer. This brand-new restaurant beautifully combines Armenian, Georgian, and American cuisines. First off their cocktails were all 10/10. we enjoyed every!! Their beet salad was truly stunning. Filled with creamy goat cheese topped with balsamic. So so good. I love a good beet hummus & theirs was so silky with crisped Armenian sujuk on top. Then things got serious; Their Truffle khachapuri was incredible. Thin crust, filled with rich and creamy cheese & truffle Of course we had to get the traditional khachapuri as well and again I couldn't get over the thin delicious dough and the silky filling. You guys their wagyu khinkali was perfect. Thin dough filled with Australian wagyu, steamed to perfection! Grilled lamb chops were cooked beautifully. And their sturgeon was so tender and delicious. We finished things off with some mint tea and baklava and wow was that baklava something ill think about daily! Cavcas is shaking up the Beverly Hills dining scene, you guys better run!

Yelp
Walking down Canon after work one night and decided to try Cavcas. Ambiance was nice and intimate, even at the bar. Food and drinks were delicious. They have the best bartender with amazing service and made the best drinks.
google avatar

Allen M.

Yelp
First time trying this new restaurant and both my wife and I were impressed. The food is Mediterranean with more of an Armenian flavor and everything we ordered was great. We had the summer salad which was a little more Greek inspired as well as the lamb chop and sturgeon dishes. All of them were very flavorful, the meats were tender and perfectly done. The best part was the baklava desert. I've tasted baklava from Armenian stores here in the US, different places in Greece, and in Armenia and none of them have come close to how good these guys make them. It's a cake sized slice of baklava with ice cream inside. Oh ya, the drinks were really good too, so I'm definitely going back for more. Location: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Food and drinks: 10/10

Yelp
I was exited to dine in Cavcas and it exceeded expectations! We tried a lot of different dishes and loved them all! The falafel is the best I've ever had in my life - not too spicy, not dry, perfect sauce.. absolutely delicious! I loved the beet hummus, very tasty twist in such a simple dish. The servise was great and the ambiance nice too, not too loud so that we could talk without shouting across the table. We ended up leaving after midnight because we just enjoyed it there so much! And there is also a beautiful patio outside for some people watching. Altogether, a great new beautiful spot in BH!
google avatar

Yelp
Food is amazing Deliciously good and very tasty. I've ordered chicken khorovats, the meat was tender. Dubai chocolate dessert is amazing

Yelp
Cavcas is an absolute gem in Beverly Hills! From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless--valet parking right out front made it stress-free to dine, and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. A special shoutout to Mia, who took incredible care of us the entire evening--she was truly the highlight of our night! The restaurant itself is stunning--clean, beautifully decorated, and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail of the space. We started our meal with the Truffle Khachapuri from the bakery section and OH. MY. GOODNESS. It was like a dream--a golden bread boat filled with gooey, melty cheese, mushrooms, and that unmistakable truffle magic. I could've eaten ten of them. If you love cheese, bread, and truffle (who doesn't?), this is a must. We followed with the Cheese Khinkali--dumplings filled with cheese and topped with pistachio cream sauce. Delicious and comforting, though next time I have my eye on the Wagyu Beef Dolma. Now, let's talk about a dish I'll be dreaming about forever: the Butterfly Beet Salad. I don't even like beets, and I would eat this salad every day if I could. Thin slices of beet wrapped around creamy goat cheese, drizzled with a cherry-orange balsamic... it was absolute perfection. For our main course, I had the Fish Khorovats with a side of truffle baby potatoes, and my partner got the Grilled Lamb Chops with grilled vegetables. My fish was perfectly cooked--three generous, flavorful pieces. The truffle potatoes were tasty, though the Kalamata olives slightly overpowered the truffle flavor--I'd love to see the truffle shine more next time. The lamb chops were melt-in-your-mouth tender, seasoned to perfection, and paired wonderfully with the charred, just-right vegetables. We ended on a high note with the best baklava I've ever had--crispy on the outside, gooey in the center, and paired with vanilla ice cream that brought the whole thing together. Don't leave without trying it! Oh--and the lemon drop martini? The bartender's specialty. Hands down, the best one I've ever had. We were blown away by the level of service, the thoughtful flavors, and the passion behind every dish. Huge kudos to the chef and team (especially Mia!). We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Cavcas, you've got something truly special here!

Yelp
Cavcas is the new spot to be in Beverly Hills! It's a fun atmosphere with food that is unbelievably fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly and the service is great, very attentive. I will definitely be making this my local spot! While everything is delicious you have to try the Wagyu Dolmas.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
I'm reading all reviews and feels like all the good ones comes from friends and family of the owners Why don't you check reservation under Karen M on July 9 at 6:30pm

Lemon M.

Yelp
Amazing food. We ordered Khingali, Branzino, beet salad, falafel, khachapuri and finished with ice cream baklava. The falafel was to die for! It's nice to have this quality Georgian/Armenian/ American food in Beverly Hills area. The service was outstanding as well!

Yelp
Went here on a date night and I was blown away by this place. It is in a beautiful location in Beverly Hills. Mia hosted us and was so friendly and welcoming and always made sure we were taken care of. All of the staff were truly amazing! I ordered the Wagyu Beef Dolma appetizer and and the Summer Salad to start. They were so good and I couldn't get enough of the Summer Salad! It was the best salad I ever had. For the main course we shared the Wagyu Ribeye Steak which was one of the best steaks ever! Also had the lamb chops which were beyond amazing! Make sure to give this place a try. You won't be dissapointed

Yelp
Had a great lunch and Cavcas restaurant at Beverly Hills! Was sitting outside with my girlfriends and it was pretty easy to talk. The food was super fresh and tasty. My fav was flatbread with lamb and fresh watermelon with feta cheese The service was nice, they asked everyone about allergies which is pretty carrying!) Overall it's a good calm spot to spend a nice time with your friends!))

Yelp
Food was excellent and service was amazing! The interior design was on point and made for a perfect ambiance. Definitely recommend to others and will be back again soon!
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty interior...smaller restaurant . I loved all of the dishes. Ribs are my fave . I didn't know if I'd like the bread with egg but it was really surprisingly light though there's was cheese in it. EXCELLENT SERVICE from Nova the waiter...thanks NOVA!

Yelp
I couldn't believe that I could actually have authentic Khinkali in Beverly Hills! It's like a taste of home in a high-end setting. Definitely a place to impress your date or a group of dear friends. The rich textures and tastes captivated all of our senses, opulent atmosphere gave that exclusive feel, and the conversations we had HAD to stay there hahah! Great experience, 10 out of 10 Concept: Georgian, Armenian, South Caucasus (Dagestan) cuisine in the Wealthiest area of Beverly Hills Star of the show: * Truffle Khachapuri * Khinkali * Steak with truffle puree The flavors were deep and exciting, to me growing up in Central Asia & Eastern Europe it felt like comfort food on the highest level possible. I could go on about each dish, but I'll attach some pictures instead. Delightful! Drinks: I have a song out that's called MEZCÁL, so naturally I had to try their 'Basil Mezcal Margarita' - it was very light but still had some kick in it. For my second drink I asked them to make me a Spicy Margarita and swap tequila for mezcal, and that was a hit! Ambiance: High end, luxury feel with traditional touches: pomegranate trees, wine bottles, authentic Georgian/Caucasian (mount of Caucasus) horns for wine - Khantsi. Great attention to details. Beautiful finishes and choice of furniture. The lights on tables could have been a tiny bit shorter - so you could see the person across the table better. Other than that - immaculate vibes. Can't wait for the official opening! And excited to have some dates there while not a lot of people know about this gem.

Yelp
This is our new favorite restaurant! The service, food, presentation and ambiance is amazing! We started off with hand crafted cocktails, one which had a beautiful diamond and rose accessory, then we ordered authentic wines paired with our entrees. The truffle bread is incredible and the baklava desert is divine. We highly recommend Cavcas and cannot wait to experience the fine dining again very soon!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful authentic flavors, amazing service Nove! Clean, fresh beautiful flavors and by far the best Baklava on the planet!!!! A must try!!!!
google avatar

Austyn V.

Yelp
Food, service, ambience.... 10/10! I felt so taken care of, not to mention the food quality matches the elegant vibes of this high-end Beverly Hills restaurant. Mia made our experience that much better! I will be coming back and will bring my family :) Thank you to Mia and the awesome staff!

Yelp
This was not a pleasant dining experience. -We were seated very near the main door which shut with a very jarring sound. Imagine eating your dinner 5 feet from a door loudly slamming shut every minute. Just on this basis, I could not wait to leave the restaurant. -Our waiter was very kind but obviously overwhelmed by the number of tables he was serving. Water refills, each course and the check were all unreasonably slow in delivery. -The music was too loud for normal conversation. -I ordered the Cavcas salad for my main course as none of the four available entree choices appealed to me. It was much too salty. -Wagyu beef dolmas appetizer was unimpressive. I could not really taste the beef. -The hostess was not warm or welcoming at all, in contrast to the descriptions I read about here and hoped to experience. I had high hopes but left very disappointed.

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal experience! Cavcas truly exceeded all expectations. The staff were some of the friendliest I've ever encountered--so warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food? Hands down the best I've ever had when it comes to Georgian and Armenian cuisine. The cheese khinkali is a must-try--unforgettable flavor that I'm already craving again. I usually don't even like chicken, but the chicken squares were so flavorful and juicy, I nearly finished the entire plate myself! Every dish was delicious--there wasn't a single thing I could fault. You can feel the love and authenticity in every bite. I'll definitely be coming back every chance I get. Wow... thank you for such a memorable dining experience!

Cee P.

Yelp
New Favorite Spot in Beverly Hills! Cavcas totally blew us away! The food is this amazing mix of Middle Eastern and American flavors -- super creative and so good. We had the wagyu dolma, which was next-level tender and flavorful. The beet salad was super fresh, the fried eggplant was perfectly crispy, and the cheese bread... honestly, I could eat that every day. We finished with the baklava and ice cream, and it was the perfect sweet ending -- flaky, warm, and just the right amount of indulgent. The vibe is chic but still really welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. 10/10 recommend!
google avatar

Caroline s.

Yelp
I would suggest waiting until they have everything figured out before dining here. Currently the indoor space is only reserved for private events and we had a reservation and were the only party sitting in the outdoor area . The outdoor area has room for maybe 2 or 3 parties max so this is not a busy place nor your typical restaurant vibe . Food was expensive and unfulfilling . The baklava was $28 for reference . I still grabbed a slice of pizza at mulberry's after dinner .
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! Starting with the hostess, a beautiful welcome to a stunning restaurant. I walked in and felt like I had escaped to a beautiful vacation destination. The service was top notch! The beat salad was unlike any other beat salad, a delightful surprise and a work of art. Khachapuri with truffle was next on our culinary adventure. So so good. We also had had the traditional which the amazing manager Mina insisted that we try, also amazing. The khinkali were nice to try but not the best compared to the rest. Last but not least a baklava fit for a queen! Would definitely come back. The decor again was stunning as well. Thank you Mahtab for greeting us on the street ensuring we tried the restaurant!
google avatar

Yelp
Everything about Beverly Hills's sexiest new restaurant says YASSSS!!! It's a blend of different regions of the Mediterranean. The ambience is beautiful the staff is so friendly and warm. And the food... well just take a look at these photos. Holly wow! The best branzino with dill and fava bean rice IYKYK and the best baklava outside of Turkey. This place is a must!
google avatar

Тамара Г.

Yelp
Beautiful modern interior, attentive and friendly staff, fresh and tasty food in the traditions of Caucasian cuisine. You can order one fish for two. Khachapuri is small, so one serving for one. My favorite is baklava. This is the perfect dessert recipe. Tea is served in small cups, I would like more )))) Salads are delicious, portions are average, order one salad for one. Khinkali is simply finger-licking good Prices are above average. Overall impression is positive. I recommend.
google avatar

Davit K.

Yelp
Cavcas exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is fresh and modern, the service was excellent -- friendly and attentive -- and the food was outstanding. The menu offers a unique fusion of Mediterranean and American cuisines. The Wagyu Khinkali and Truffle Khachapuri are must-tries. Don't miss their creative twist on Baklava, served with ice cream.
google avatar

Yelp
Me and my friend Katy went here on a girls night out and everything was amazing, the service, the food, the atmosphere! Feels like a high end restaurant and experience. My favorites were the Khachapuri and khinkalies I highly recommend this place to those who loves a good food

Yelp
Cavcas feels just like home. The warm, welcoming atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the incredible food made it an unforgettable experience. Every dish tasted like it was made with love -- especially the kebabs and khachapuri, which were absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. The portions are generous, and everything is fresh and perfectly cooked. I can't wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for true Caucasian hospitality and homemade-style food in Beverly Hills!
google avatar

Yelp
Awwwwmazing! Had a variety of dishes and each one was superb. The Wagyu Beef Dolma was the best I've ever tasted. The Cheese Khinkali was supple and savory while the wagyu beef khinkali spicy. The wood grilled shish kabob juicy and tender. Lamb chops were perfection. Butterfly beet salad, khachapuris, and cavcas salad were my personal faves. Finished with the baklava and tea. All SO good! Thanks Chef
google avatar

Janet S.

Yelp
Definitely would recommend Cavcas! The vibe was great, the food amazing and the place was clean coming from a person who is a slight germaphobe! The staff was also kind in helping me decide what drink to choose from the menu.

alina p.

Yelp
Went here to celebrate a birthday. The food option is limited and the taste was horrible. The prices are ridiculous and the food portions are small. I don't know how this place will stand for business. But I definitely will not be coming back. Also after spending over $850 we all left to another restaurant to eat because we left hungry and non satisfied. small Resturant with not enough leg and table room. It's a very big shame that you can find the amount we paid in cash. Never less like you advised me there are plenty of other restaurants to go too! Which definitely we will do. If you were in our position you would feel the same way we did. Anyway good luck to you and your intimate Restaurant setting!

Yelp
The atmosphere was special. Comfortable and at the same time like being transported to an exotic land. The food was simply delicious!

Yelp
Great restaurant with amazing food. We had the summer salad, fish khorovazh, lamb and the baklava. Wow! So good! Our server Nova was kind and friendly and made great recommendations. Highly recommend the restaurant
google avatar

Yelp
Mia was amazing, constant attention to us. The waiter was also very attentive. My friend preferred their old fashion and It was amazing. I had the dirty martini with blue cheese, they did great with both. The food was also amazing. All was 5 stars. We appreciated and loved the entire experience. We look forward to going back.

Yelp
Was walking by on Canon Dr and came across the cutest restaurant ever! I sat outside with my girlfriends and we started ordering a few drinks. I was going to just stick with a small bite; however, once I saw all the food coming in and out of the kitchen I kept ordering! Some of the best khachapurri I've ever had! And the khinkali was a 100/10 Loved experiencing their food and drinks! Would love to come again!

Brian F.

Yelp
Amazing service & food! Mia was our server and she was so considerate and thoughtful! The vibe was amazing and the staff is so kind. You can tell the chef pays attention to detail! Definitely coming back.

Anika B.

Yelp
Super yummy food with a great vibe. The food was insanely tasty and fresh and everything was so unique. The lamb chops were insane and so was the (I forgot the name!!) but a truffle pizza type dish. Our server Nova was so kind and attentive. Drinks were also great. will be back!!
google avatar

Susie H.

Yelp
My friend and I had heard amazing reviews about this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The truffle khachapuri and wagyu khinkali was mouthwatering. Also must order the Cavcas salad. Honestly been craving it since I had it. Even the manager Mia came up during the dinner to check in and make sure everything was going well. Excellent service, delicious food, highly recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to go back again!

David F.

Yelp
Excellent cocktails, good service. The lamb was excellent, nice cheese and fruit on the cheese plate, wagyu dolmas were okay, but the wagyu khinkali was a little disappointing in my opinion - great dough, but the filling felt a little under seasoned. I know they're meant to be subtle flavors, but it was bordering on bland for me. Obviously given this place is on Canon Dr it's not going to be cheap, but for the price I was a little underwhelmed. Also, minor note, but the music was also a little on the loud side for my liking, but not a deal breaker.

Mina S.

Yelp
Amazing food and service, loved the ambiance as well. This is a new business that I decided to try on a whim, and I absolutely loved it. I will definitely come back!

Lily M.

Yelp
Off to a terrible start. I peeped some bad reviews before making my reservation, but I decided to give it the benefit of doubt. I made my reservation at the end of may for July 3rd for 8pm because my best friend was going to be in town, and on July 3rd at 4pm, I got an email saying my reservation was cancelled. When they opened at 6pm, I called to ask why, & her response was that they didn't have a number on file to call me (impossible) and they got booked up for private events and cannot serve the reservations....i mean I have no words other than I will not be making another reservation because this was unheard of and terrible service.
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
Food service and ambiance was amazing. 10/10 . We needed this in city of Beverly Hills . Bravo!!
google avatar

Max K.

Yelp
This place is amazing and an excellent example of Armenian and Georgian food done in an elevated manner. Joseph the bartender was amazing, drinks are a 25/10. So is the service. Excellent addition to the neighborhood. Mia is the manager and she is dope ass hell.

Kar S.

Yelp
I visited cavcas for the first a few days ago and I will definitely be back. I had an amazing time, the drinks and the food were excellent with a lot of options. The ambiance and service were absolutely phenomenal, Nova and Mia are both very welcoming and provided exceptional customer service. We ordered hummus, khinkali (cheese and meat), and the pakhlava. Everything tasted amazing, regardless of what you order, the pakhlava is a must try!

Christina G.

Yelp
I loved this restaurant, visually beautiful, and the ambience is warm and inviting. The service is on point. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The cocktails were amazing. The food had so much flavor, everything was cooked to a T, just great quality overall. I would recommend trying Truffle Khachapuri... I could eat that all the time it was so tasty. Also, the Wagu beef dolma was so tender. The portions were great too. I will deff be visiting again soon.

Michelle L.

Yelp
We were in town for a big event and wanted to find a place for some wine and great ambiance. We happened upon Cavcas and could not have been happier! It was their soft opening so we really enjoyed it all- from their vast wine selection and knowledge, to the caviar, to the kabobs. It was a fantastic experience and perfect nightcap. If we lived locally, we would be back! Rich made the experience 10/10, and we are so thankful!

David S.

Yelp
The food was good. Server was extremely nice. I'm docking the score because it was incredibly loud. Bordering on 80 db. Not only could we not understand each other, we couldn't understand the waiter. They blast club music and everyone needs to yell to be heard. I guess this is the norm, but it made me miserable. Could be a nice place if it were reasonably quiet. My ears are ringing 12 hours later.
