"The Allemoz family (the son, Jean - Jacques, represents the fifth generation) perpetuates tradition with real spirit: home - made terrine, calf's head with ravigote, veal kidney flambéed in Armagnac, rum baba and floating islands feature among the numerous bistro classics on the menu. A remarkably appealing place." - Michelin Inspector
When you think of a Parisian bistro, you think of Caves Pétrissans: checkerboard floor tiles, mirrored walls, a menu with French classics, a wine boutique next door. Food and wine were outstanding. Staff was caring and friendly. Best total dining out experience we’ve had in Paris, in over 25 years! Highly recommend.

We booked our table through the website of the restaurant and it was very easy!
The service was lovely and the food was very good!
We loved the wine cart and enjoyed our evening.
We had the menu for 52€ and the menu of the day was a delight as well.
Definitely recommend it!!

The food was okay, the service was poor and the ambiance was very old school. The poor service was what was most frustrating as no one asks even once checking in or providing any service even when requested. I honestly think we were discriminated. The food was actually decent and good wine as well. But if you are not French or White, high chances you’ll be discriminated.

Great family run restaurant, with a great wine menu and staff. Chat with the staff about the food and wine, they will love to tell you more Food is a traditional french bistro fare, but really well done. If you like tête de veau sans cervelle, they can do that for you. There's always a crowd at the bar and chatter. Recommend réservating first.

This must be the "Cheers" version of a French restaurant where everyone seems to be either family or friends. Expect a wide range of food choices that feel very much like French comfort food. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better people running the house.
Marrowbone (or bone marrow) and escargot were hits for my family. Portions are large so save room for dessert.

Perhaps the perfect Parisian brasserie experience. Beautiful home cooked food, fun and friendly staff, this is a must visit restaurant. There must be a reason it has been running successfully for many generations. Loved it!

Yelp
Veal cutlet medium cooked with potatoes. Potatoes were really fresh and sweet. Service was excellent, waiter patiently explained about daily special and how it's cooked. Limited menu items.

Yelp
I haven't been there for a while and on christmas day was looking for where to eat well.
That was amazing, it started slowly but we end up having a blast. Everything we got was better that we could expect.
thank you and see you again soon

Yelp
This is a local authentic French dining experience. It's a bistro without frills, no music, but the dinner was wonderful. The service was genuine and unhurried, and the food was extremely delicious. This has been one of my absolute favorite dining experiences in Paris.

Yelp
This restaurant is the most French, casual and delicious place I've been to in a long time. The staff is very friendly and they even have valet parking which isn't that common in France. The food is incredibly traditional and unpretentious, yet tasty and elegant. My friend had a "tête de veau" (veal's head) which was just too "exotic" for me to try, and I had the more conventional beef filet with potatoes sautéed in goose fat. It was absolutely delicious and we were both thrilledwith our respective choices. We had an excellent Bordeaux recommended by our waiter, and finished our meal with coffee and a very creamy chocolate cake. We walked out of this restaurant with huge smiles and a satisfied belly.

Yelp
Best dinner during our stay in Paris. Snails are absolutely a must, big and tasty, we will come back just to double down on these. Rilettes was great and I could have cut my steak filet with a finger. My wife enjoyed a superb foie gras. We enjoyed a good bottle of rosè. The atmosphere is that of a passionate small traditional French restaurant, exactly what we were looking for. You will find there both normal families celebrating something special and guests with deeper pockets used to eat in the best restaurants. The service is great, they really care about your overall experience, ask and trust them!
