We had the New Year’s Eve tasting menu here, and it was a very strong way to end the year.
The menu was ambitious without feeling excessive, and the cooking throughout the evening was confident and full of flavour. Courses were well paced and consistently well executed, from the opening snacks and tartare to the seafood courses and mains. Highlights for me included the scallop and prawn course, which was beautifully cooked and balanced, and the beef fillet, which was rich without being heavy. The tortellacci dish also stood out for its depth.
Service was friendly and impressively quick given the occasion. Plates arrived smoothly, and everything felt well organised without being rushed. The staff clearly knew what they were doing and made the evening feel relaxed.
Overall, this was a fantastic New Year’s dinner with strong cooking, thoughtful presentation, and service that kept the night flowing.
