My dining experience at Caviar Russe Miami was phenomenal! The location truly has exceptional customer service. The Davids’ epitomized elite fine dining: attentive, warm, and flawlessly executed. Their personalized care made the right evening feel bespoke. I highly recommend it!

Wow! There are no words, they should have a line around the block!! The lobster, the scallops, the tuna, the halibut, and everything on their menu is to die for. By far one of my absolute favorite meals in Miami and I am used to 5 star dining around the world from NYC to St Barths. Even their dessert crème brûlée covered in caviar was absolutely sensational. Did I mention they make the best martini I’ve ever had in Miami?! Run, you will not be disappointed. It is that amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

I want to start by thanking the team on duty 6/28, you all made our experience so unique and pleasant. The food was amazing and the drinks spectacular. Our favorites were the scallop cone and the madeleines. The location is beautifully decorated and the guests can enjoy a relaxed and intimate ambiance. The place exudes refinement and the menu creativity. We will certainly return for the full tasting menu.

If you enjoy caviar, you can’t miss this place. First of all, this is the most authentic place to enjoy caviar. Second of all, they almost give away ( don’t get me wrong.. still pricy but..) great caviar for the price you pay. Our favorite is the Martini Hours. Order a classic martini starting $15 and you will get this beautiful Caviar Cornet compliment. Another favorite of ours is baked potato with Caviar.. absolutely delicious and they dump almost 1.5oz of classic Osetra on top of the potato and it’s only $65. The best deal in town for sure. We stayed at nearby AirB&B for a month and ended up visiting this place 4 times. We will be back!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in NYC. We saw there was a location in Miami where we are going for a trip and was so excited! We called ahead to reserve a table for 6 adults and 3 children. We appreciate they were able to accommodate our son plus our friends 2 kids. The whole vibe of the dinner though was disappointing. Nothing like the service we received on multiple visits to the NYC location. The server although somewhat polite, seemed annoyed and curt with us. We assume it's because we had children? But if children are not welcome, they should not have said it was ok while making the reservation. I'm also currently pregnant and asked about non alcoholic options. He said they could probably make something for us. But never asked again the entire meal until I requested an option from a different server. Our waters were also not refilled. The restaurant was only half filled but the service for the food was extremely slow. We started at 6 and by 830 we were still waiting for our dishes. We ended up having to cancel the last courses and leave by 9ish. All the courses were delicious as usual except for the foie gras dish which was very very salty and difficult to eat even spread on the toast provided. I've never left foie on the table, this would be the first. The meal wasn't so horrible, but we all agreed this particular servers attitude just made us feel very unwelcome and set the tone for a negative experience at the restaurant. Our bill btw was just under $3k with a $440 mandatory 20% gratuity

If you know, you know—Caviar Russe in Brickell might just be the low-key best restaurant in Miami. No theatrics, no over-the-top scene—just pure, effortless five-star class. From the moment you step in, you’re transported into a world of refinement where luxury is second nature and every detail is flawlessly executed. This isn’t just another high-end spot—it’s a family business with serious pedigree. A NYC staple, now thriving in Miami, known for sourcing some of the world’s finest direct-from-the-source caviar. And trust me, you need to go all in. Do the caviar tasting. Pop a special bottle of champagne. Have them shave fresh truffles over everything. And whatever you do, get the baked potato with caviar—it’s a masterpiece, pure indulgence in its simplest, most perfect form. And then there’s Ilya, the owner, who runs the place with a level of passion and precision that makes the experience feel even more personal. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an institution of taste, elegance, and service. If you’re looking for a loud, flashy scene, look elsewhere. But if you want to be treated like absolute royalty while dining on some of the finest ingredients in the world? Caviar Russe is Miami’s most exclusive hidden gem.

Google
This is a serious restaurant with very good food and decent professional service Small and perfect dining area with open kitchen located in outstanding lobby in the four seasons building in Brickell Avenue The oysters was perfect The foie Gras mousse was served with strawberries which was instead of the traditional compote of apple! A new idea and we liked it The tuna tartare topped with caviar was super good to excellent The Caviar and it’s accompanying mixing presentation was outstanding and super good The Moët et Chandon Champagne alongside the Caviar was great combination and we enjoyed the whole dinner experience and we will definitely comeback again

Pretty decent place with an overall pleasant culinary experience. Although not particularly exciting dishes, the execution was good and the flavor is there.

Yelp
Second time coming here and it was spectacular in every way. Their caviar presentation is unparalleled (potato latkes are perfect). The rest of the food was exceptional as well. Service was terrific as well. We will definitely return!

Yelp
Absolutely perfect service. There's nothing more to say about it. The service is perfect. Splendid interior design, among the best I've ever enjoyed. Everything in this restaurant is very high class. Excellent caviar goes without saying, but the tasting menu has some of the best dishes I've ever had. If you're lucky enough to enjoy their White Truffle Pasta, it is to die for when it's in season. Also, without a doubt, the Crème Brûlée Caviar is absolutely delicious. I cannot get enough of it and it's a clever dish. Everything on that menu is world-class, with the exception of the NY Strip. As usual, go to a steakhouse for meats. For an experienced diner, this restaurant, located in the Four Seasons Hotel in Brickell, is Miami's best-kept secret. Personally, it's my favorite restaurant in south Florida by a landslide. I've been here more than a dozen times and it is absolutely fantastic. However, its only drawback as a restaurant is that it seems best suited for small groups. It's actually quite nice if you're dining alone, and others do just that -- guests at the hotel, I believe. You could say it lacks energy; sometimes I'm the only person in the restaurant. I assume because Four Seasons wants to make sure it's available for guests -- it doesn't come up easily on Google if you're searching for top places to eat. That being said, for a party of two with refined taste, this is beyond top-notch.

Yelp
I hate this restaurant, and I'll tell you why, because it ruins ever other dining experience in Miami forever. This restaurant is sublime, exquisite, and exceptional, perfectly curated dishes at an elevated level. We celebrated our anniversary here on Friday night and it was incredible. We've been looking forward to dining here for quite sometime, and this was the day. I can't say enough great comments on the preparation, and service. The two David's treated us like royalty, and the chefs we interactive and inviting, often presenting their dishes directly to us with an explanation of what we were getting ready to enjoy. If you like fine dining gourmet, this is a treat, and highly recommended!

Yelp
Highlights: *Intimate, Elegant, Michelin "Pedigree" Dining *Not for the cost conscious: Expect to spend $250++ per person for food and wine/champagne, plus tax/tip *Delicious and artistically presented creations Behind a white curtain in the Four Seasons Building lobby is a small, gilded gem with only 10 or 12 tables, large leather chairs, round marble tables, a chandelier, small marble bar/open mini kitchen, and a level of haute dining not typically found in Miami. Caviar Russe is in its fourth year in Miami following a 20+ year tenure in Manhattan with one Michelin star in NYC for the past 6 years. You can spend an unlimited amount of money on various caviar tastings and/or proceed to the lunch/dinner tasting menu where you select three small courses for $150 plus uncharges on several items (lobster, snow crab, foie gras are an extra $25 each). There is also a seafood tower with caviar for $350. We started with a half bottle of Billecart Salmon Reserve Brut, $70, although full bottles of Champagne can be had starting at only $105 for Perrier Jouet and go up to $1,100 for 2006 Cristal. There is a relatively large selection of white, red and dessert wines all over $100, as well as wines by the glass and cocktails. To complement our Champange we split a glass of Paul Autard Chateauneuf du Pape for $28. Some wines BTG are served via a Coravin which provides for better wine conditions than most other restaurants. The two of us choose six dishes to sample and our favorites were, in order: 1. Lobster, Caviar, Hollandaise, crouton. 2. Foie Gras Port, Pear, Almond. This is served cold, shaped to look like a red apple. I always thought of foie gras pate as ok but nothing spectacular, but this dish hit it out of the park. It is served with A delicious brioche. 3. Blue Fine Tuna, tomato foam, burrata, cucumber. 4. My guest listed the Halibut, pork belly, chanterrels, parsnip as one of her favorites, to me it was good, but the first three outshined it to my taste. 5. Octopus with wilted romaine, romanesco, chorizo, not bad, very tender, cooked sous vide for about 7 hours if I recall. 6. Snow Crab with Caviar, Avocado, Aioli. The least favorite of my guest, but I found it ok. There is not a full kitchen, so many dishes are pre-prepped and finished at the small kitchenette that's part of the bar. Somehow, they manage to deliver them with amazing style. We wanted to try a dessert so ordered the chocolate dessert, only $20, which was decadent and rich made from premium Venezuelan chocolate. As a complimentary accompaniment to our meal we were presented with a basket of warm Madeleines. They were exquisite. The eight or ten pieces disappeared in a flash. Service is professional but very aloof. Some may misinterpret it to be snooty or cold. Being that some diners are sociable I would ask the management to think about training staff to connect more with diners who might be looking for some interaction. A white coat chef was present in the restaurant but did not seem to connect with anyone except a couple at the bar. On a Friday evening the restaurant was about half full. Final bill for two was $635 including tax and gratuity. Overall it was a nice experience, but the restaurant could be doing more business (if they want to) with a few tweaks.

Yelp
Fabulous place for an evening dinner all done first class. It's expensive yet delicious and unbelievably elegant. The caviar is spectacular and is available in numerous weights. The drinks are poured well, the chefs are amazing and your check will be high. Indulge yourself.

Yelp
First time trying this cute restaurant out , it's very very small inside the Four Season Hotel First Floor The plates and the decor are very beautiful. Our servers were very attentive with our questions about the menu. We had the $150 3 course meal which was phenomenal (you get to choose 3 dishes from their menu) , we both got to share 6 plates + appetizers + dessert Definitely recommend to come to this place for a special occasion , the restaurant has very few tables so it's very private. The food was served in decent portions enough for 2 people to be able to taste it together. Not a lot to leave you full but not too little to make you want to order something else afterwards Our favorite favorite dish of all night was the Parmesan egg and the butternut squash soup. It was super delicious , the caviar was amazing and the little crepes to eat it with were also a nice touch (not pictured) We will definitely come back when they update their menu to try dishes.

Yelp
This place is great. I really love their happy hour special where you get 50 grams of caviar and a whole bottle of champagne for only $100. What's not to love about that? Aside from their power hour, the food is great. They don't have a large selection, but what they do make is really good. You can choose a 5 course meal that the chef will pick for you, or a 3 course where you pick what dishes you'd like. I really loved their foie gras and oyster dishes. Those had to be my favorites. I definitely want to come back for the happy hour, and to try the few dishes that I haven't tried yet.

Yelp
Listen, if you want to spend as much money possible for as little food possible this is your spot. I figured I wasn't that hungry so paying 150$ for a three course meal wasn't something I wanted to do, so I ordered the filet al a carte.... big mistake $60 for two strips of steak MAYBE 3 ounces total. Tastes great tho, but wow I almost choked from laughing when they set it down in front of me.

Yelp
I love this little gem so much!! It's quietly tucked away in the Four Seasons Hotel. If you're not careful, you will definitely pass by it. It's a small and quaint space. The food and service is certainly an experience that one should try in their lifetime!

Yelp
This place. I don't know where to begin. If you've been into caviar all your life: perfect for you! If you're "new" to it: perfect for you! Everyone is so helpful and on their game. Between having caviar the traditional way or having the amazing dishes that use caviar as a complimenting ingredient, it's just incredible. I mean, even a crème brûlée had the right touch of caviar to make you rethink what a dessert should be. Just keep in mind that it's an intimate setting in a small place with very few people. In case you're considering coming here for a special occasion with a special person. I just want to make sure you know that everything was perfect-- no exaggeration.

Yelp
I'm absolutely in love with this decadent little hide away! The restaurant is small, cozy and discreetly located inside the lobby of the Four Seasons. The service is friendly, highly attentive and seamless from the moment of arrival until leaving. They have a stunning selection of caviars (which are also available to take away from the store in Four Seaons) Our favorite is the Gold Osetra served with Billecart Rose. On our last visit the chef was kind enough to bring us a sample of a new dish he was preparing which was a beautiful king crab stack with caviar and it was exceptional. The tasting menu is fantastic. Each time we visit it gets better and can't wait to go back again. It's always nice to find quality food, service and value for money in Miami.

Yelp
Most amazing dinner. The truffle pasta, is unbelievable, caviar was great. Service was a 10!!! Try the potato with caviar.

Yelp
4.5 If you walk by Caviar Russe (right off the lobby of the Four Seasons Tower), you could easily mistake it for just another ritzy lobby bar instead of a one Michelin star restaurant import from NYC. A couple of decorative iron panels attempt to define the entrance. The openess of the space and the tables just outside of those panels can be misleading. Once inside, it's clear this is the real deal; one that is ambitious enough to come to Miami and join the march towards a possible starred future. You know, in case the Michelin guide ever decides we aren't as aloof as we seem and realizes we can be serious about fine dining. While I'm not holding my breath for that, I will give Caviar Russe props for delivering an impressive first dinner. Having worked at two of my long time favorite restaurants (The Modern & Catch), Chef David Valencia* brings plenty of knowledge to the table. Did I mention he also worked for Alain Ducasse? White furniture, glistening gold accents, and a beautiful glass chandelier center the room. The staff takes great pride in offering a five star experience. I later learned that the team actually works without a full kitchen. The ingredients are prepared and served raw or sous-vide. As expected, the menu revolves around caviar. While there are different types of caviar available by the ounce, the type served with the courses is the mild and nutty Caspian Sea Classic Osetra. What I tried: Steak Tartare Caviar Caesar Bone Marrow Toast Octopus Carpaccio Black Cod Foie Gras Cafe con Leche dessert HIT: The Caviar Caesar, Foie Gras, and the Steak Tartare impressed me the most. Paired with the classic caviar and warm bone marrow toast, the cool, rich and tender Steak Tartare easily stood out from the rest. At no point did the caviar overpower the dish. Not that I would object to caviar overpowering ANY dish, but I digress...The toast was a delicate, yet hearty addition. MISS: The corkage fee. Bringing my wine in to dinner and paying a corkage fee is something I do on a weekly basis. However, the corkage fee here is $75 per bottle, making it the highest I've found in Miami so far. This time, I chose not to bring mine and order off the menu. The problem? They do not have a properly refrigerated cellar yet; the wine arrived at room temperature. Our waiter did go out of his way to make sure the wine we chose was chilled down to our preferred temperature rapidly. Given they are still very new, it's forgiven...for now. Because of its size, I'd say Caviar Russe is perfect for an intimate romantic dinner and for the serious gourmand. Must. Love. Caviar. Wishing them much success. Miami is NOT an easy nut to crack. Overall, I loved this restaurant and will be back again later this year. Update 9/04/2016 Chef Valencia is no longer with Caviar Russe.

Andrew L.

Yelp
This is, hands down, the best food I've ever had in Miami, and a top 3 best restaurant I've encountered in my life. Every dish is beautifully prepared, all a combination of flavors I've never before experienced. The service is perfect, every meal spaced perfectly. I found no fault in this dining experience, and cannot believe this restaurant does not yet have a Michelin star. 10/10.

Yelp
Great service and amazing caviar! We went here on Christmas Eve to celebrate that we just got married. They were about to close down but opened up for us. Thank you for the great service and for letting us stay! We will definitely revisit next time we are in Miami!

Yelp
What can I say but SUPERB! From the welcome by Benjamin Collins to the very end of our dining experience! For anyone looking for a special evening of elegance and pure decadence please take the time to experience Caviar Russe!

Yelp
Great Food!!! Best Caviar choices i have seen in a while with a generous selection of Vodkas. This is very special place. Benjamin, the manager, was great. Staff very attentive. This place is for someone who is not afraid to spend some $$$$$.

Yelp
Edward, at Caviar Russe, was extremely helpful in fulfilling my reorder. My experience with Edward was rewarding and the sevruga that my brother-in-law sent for my 60th birthday was amazing. I highly recommend getting the salmon and fois gras...both are as divine as the caviar. The package arrived in a specialty blue box housing a black zippered sack holding the following ingredients: caviar, crepes, bilinis, creme fraiche, fois gras, and the best smoked salmon that I have ever tasted (my sister concurred). I am a huge fan of Baltic Sea caviar, specifically Sevruga and Osetra. From now on I am shopping only at Caviar Russe. Best regards, Robin

Yelp
Amazing food and gorgeous decor. All the dishes we ordered were absolutely perfect, and all of them incorporated delicious fine caviar. Although the restaurant is expensive, it is worth every penny. The Colombian chef, who has extensive experience, uses different flavors and textures, resulting in exquisite dishes not only to your taste but to your eyes. Service is also phenomenal. I would definitely recommend all foodies to indulge in this mouthwatering experience.

Marie M.

Yelp
This is, realistically, the BEST restaurant in Miami. Although "Caviar" is the specialty here, Caviar Russe offers an extensive selection of Nouvelle Cuisine, with mostly French style influence. Every dish is decadent, delectable, with aesthetic presentation. Notable plates include: Fois Gras; Steak Tartare; Caviar Ceaser Salad; Blue Fin Tuna; Scramble Egg w/Truffle & Caviar; Black Cod. The restaurant is located in the Lobby Level of the Four Seasons Hotel. The decor is elegant, chic, well-illuminated featuring an open-style kitchen. There is plenty of space between tables, allowing for privacy and comfort. An ideal location for business or pleasure. Valet parking very convenient and economical. The food is exquisite. The service is excellent. As a Miami Beach resident, Caviar Russe gives me a compelling reason for me to cross the bridge for a quality evening!
google avatar

Danielle C.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Incredible service. Sousvide elegant preparation of all items. ELEGANT and quiet. Prefect for romance. If you love caviar this is a must, expensive but worth every penny!
google avatar

Yelp
$1700 for 2 without wine or champagne means the expectations should be higher here than most and the restaurant pretty much fails on all accounts. Be prepared to be in a nicely decorated room with very few people. Place your order off an overly expensive menu with mediocre service and no amenities. At $1700 for two an amuse-bouche should arrive from the chef before dining and it does not. Caviar service includes creme fraiche and scallions and no egg or onion. You're paying so much so why not make the presentation better? Eventually an amuse-bouche arrives but by then it's too late. Better go to Marky's and bring your caviar home. Their sister restaurant in NY is far better. We will not be back.

Yelp
This place was AMAZING. I love Caviar. And it was delish... the staff was on point and very helpful. The tuna toro and the black cod were amazing as well... and the fresh madelines were the perfect ending. I cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend...

Yelp
On Thursday, July 7, 2016, my daughter and I were walking through the Four Seasons Hotel and stopped to see the presentation Caviar Russe had set-up. While looking at the menu, a server came out and said, "Come in and dine with us." I declined because caviar and seafood were the main items on the menu. I told the server No because my daughter is allergic to seafood. The server then said, "We have a rib-eye steak she will love." She smiled, and because it was her birthday, I said okay lets eat here. After being seated, we looked at the menu and noticed there was only Steak Tartar on the menu for $65. We asked the server about the rib-eye not being on the menu, and he said, "It's not on the menu we have it in the back." My daughter asks how much is the steak? The server told her, "thirty-five dollars ($35)". I am absolutely positive he told her that because I heard it. My daughter then said I could get two steaks for the same price of the $65 Steak Tartar. The server heard her say this and never said a word. What should've been a pleasant birthday experience turned out to be a nightmare. On the receipt, the server charged $280 for the rib-eye steak and our entire bill came to $557.53, which included an $87.00 tip for the server. I spoke with Benjamin, the manager hoping he would correct this overcharge. Benjamin told me that the server would never deliberately overcharge for the steak. I told Benjamin that the server suggested the rib-eye three times, told us it was $35, and deliberately overcharged for it. Benjamin continued to defend the server and insult my daughter and me. The tone of his voice and gestures were offensive. I asked for contact information for his manager or the owner, but he refused to give me any information, and asked the hotel security to call the police. I was shocked that a restaurant manager would blame the customer for an overcharge, and escalate the situation by getting the police involved. I called Caviar Russe in New York to get information and was given the contact information for the owner. I called and left three messages, but the owner never returned my call. Caviar Russe has been in Miami for only four months. Regardless of the ambient setting, the owner does not respond to customers' concerns about situations in his establishment, and Benjamin, the manager treats customers with behavior that is morally wrong and offensive. In addition, both of these men who head this establishment condone a level of dishonesty that is despicable. With the $280.00 cost of the steak and additional money for the tip, I had $308.43 stolen from me. I had a negative experience and do not want others to be taken advantage of while dining at Caviar Russe. There are many other nice dining establishments in Miami.

Yelp
Sub-par small hotel lobby restaurant with overpriced mediocre caviar. Try elsewhere in Brickell as there are many good restaurants in the area.

Yelp
A truly once in a lifetime culinary experience. My wife and I had been to the location in New York (the day I proposed to her) so our expectations were set very high. All of them were met and exceeded. Chef David Valencia's food is simply spectacular. The setting is unique and luxurious and the service was immaculate. Everything came together seamlessly and perfectly. Great job and welcome to Miami Caviar Russe! Looking forward to coming back to try their 3 course $35 lunch. Thank you very much.

Yelp
3/20/21 - I had a reservation at Caviar Russe. As I'm sure everyone can recall, it was spring break weekend. We actually had no idea - we came down here for work trade show (not partiers). On Friday, it took us over 45 minutes to get back to our hotel after dinner that was 1 mike away. So Saturday afternoon, I kindly call Caviar Russe and explain that we are already (without traffic) 25 minutes away from the restaurant. WITH this traffic, it would take us hours to get there and back, and kindly ask if they would sadly cancel our reservation. The man on the phone pretty much tells me, "sucks to suck", and he's going to charge me $25 per person. I asked for him to please be considerate and understand where I am coming from, and he pretty much tell me "he doesn't care". I ask for the manager, unfortunately for Caviar Russe, he is the manager. Now as if this doesn't get worse, Miami goes into a lock down/mandatory curfew at 8:00 PM that night. We legit would not have been allowed to get to the restaurant! Streets were bumper to bumper traffic...no Uber's or taxis are available. We ate in our jam packed, noisy hotel bar... do you think this is what we wanted? Just so we could screw Caviar Russe out of a reservation?! No! Of course not, but we had no choice. And needless to say, I woke up with a $50 charge from Caviar Russe this morning. I'm sick to my stomach.

Yelp
I truly believe the potato with caviar would be my last meal request. Beautiful room - smallish off lobby of Four Seasons. Exceptional service. Perfect for the most romantic of date nights.

Yelp
My experience at Caviar Russe was incredible. Decor, service and food were all first-rate. I dined with my wife and another couple. The entire restaurant is one room in the lobby of the Four Seasons Brickell - maybe ten tables total and a bar with an open kitchen. This boutique-style setup is intimate and while there were other guests dining it almost gives you the feeling of being in an exclusive club. And the room is fabulous. Lots of white and gold - a white marble bar, white leather chairs, bronze banquets a gold chandelier with beautiful caviar pearl-like bubbles elegantly hanging down. Even the plates are made of real gold. I can't say enough about the impressive service. Halfway into dinner I remarked to my friend that service at this level doesn't exist as far as I know in Miami and he replied, "Yeah, I'm not sure it really exists in most cities." The good looking service team are formally dressed in suits. They look like they just came in from working at one of the banks on Brickell Avenue. I'd almost go away from calling it fine dining service and call it butler service. Chairs are pulled out, immediately upon sitting a purse stool was positioned next to the ladies. Silverware is elegantly placed unobtrusively, plates are dropped and cleared in unison, conversation is never interrupted, water is poured and not overpoured. If the server is around the table it is with a real purpose. Otherwise you are left to dine without any hovering presence. The Server's verbiage, polite nature and warm smile and ease with which he walked us through our evening was perfect. There was not stuffiness. No pretentiousness. Impressive. So how was dinner? This is the best food in Miami. Caviar is the star. There is an extensive list of Caspian Sea offerings for all palates and budgets. We opted for a duo and were able to enjoy two contrasting flavor profiles. Caviar is presented beautifully over ice with starch plates and chives/creme fraiche. The service again - you start to run low on blinis nothing has to be said - before you even notice you may be in need of more a server slides a plate of warm blinis on the table and removes the original plate. After our caviar, an amuse-bouche of Shigoku oysters with a dashi foam and cucumber landed in front of us unexpectedly. On top of the oysters was classic Osetra caviar because, well, of course oysters should be topped with caviar! A few tables away a couple was enjoying an ice tower of what looked like crab and lobster and shrimp. I was outvoted at the table on that but it looked fantastic. We decided to share multiple going forward. The plating is intricate, precise, colorful and truly beautiful. Each has different textures and components - gastriques, foams, crumbles, gels, terrines, and even ice cream with the king crab! All of these highlight the proteins rather than mask them. The quality of product here is apparent. Bluefin tuna. Aged ribeye tartare. Japanese Uni. Some highlights were the Hamachi which was presented domed, as our server lifted the lid a pleasant spiced aroma smoke rose up. Then another server slowly poured a warm wasabi dashi over the plate. Fantastic dish. The bluefin toro tartare was a buttery truffled caviar topped mound of flavor served with warm brioche. Loved the Black Cod - a nice agave and soy glaze caramelized the fish which sat over sliced lemony avocado. On top was a smoked milk froth almost like the head of a cappuccino and a bright watermelon radish with caviar. Almost all of the dishes feature caviar. And if you enjoy a Caesar Salad don't have the Caviar Caesar here because you will never be able go back to the Caesars you have been eating. This thing has ten grams of caviar folded into its dressing with crunchy parmesan and quail egg with salty white anchovies. Perfect! For dessert we opted for a nice selection French cheeses that does not bore with sauces like cauliflower-white chocolate. The spirits list has anything high-end could want with an emphasis on vodka. My boy and I opted to start with the flight which was a one ounce pour of Beluga Gold, Stoli Elite, and Jewel of Russia. One server brings the glasses and another follows with a display of the bottles. Pretty cool. The wine list is Champagne and white Burgundy driven with a few must-have reds and a proper sake list. We went with the Bollinger Grande Annee. Towards the end of a truly elegant, flavorful dinner the executive chef David approached the table to check in on us and briefly introduce himself. Really humble, friendly, and clearly talented chef. He also went on to explain that Caviar Russe does a three course $35 weekday lunch and a $100 a bottle Dom Perignon Friday bar event with a DJ and small bites. Overall, a special restaurant for when you are in the mood to not settle. Yes, you have to bring your wallet but you get what you pay for. Well done Caviar Russe.
