The owner is a charismatic man who is very passionate about his food. He wasn't afraid to recommend options with confidence and nonchalance. However the food lived up to the high expectations. Especially the vegan cheesecake. It is especially amazing. Also the bruschetta was a big highlight.

I had a lovely dinner on my final night in not only Cagliari, but Sardinia. And what an experience it was!! I was told I couldn't leave Sardinia without trying Malloreddus, so I checked Google and this was the place to try it! (Especially since I'm vegetarian). My evening started off being greeted by the lovely Luana, who not only made feel super welcome (as I was by myself) she made me feel like a friend. She noticed I had just gotten a tattoo so we started talking about the story behind it, and my love of Sardinia. She then proceeded to provide me with recommendations of her favourite places around Sardinia to visit next time I was there. In my usual life I rarely eat carbs, let alone pasta, so Luana suggested a half portion because I also wanted to try the bruschetta. I'm so glad she did suggest the half portion of Malloreddus as I barely got through half of it from being so full from the big portion of the bruschetta!! Such generous portions and amazing service, I would highly recommend!!!

This restaurant is amazing! The food was absolutely perfect. I tried the bruschetta and the gnocchi, both were incredibly delicious! The cheesecake is one of the best I’ve ever tasted! The staff were very friendly and polite. I really appreciated how they explained the menu using photos and recommended their best dishes. You can clearly tell that the food is made with love, and that they’re truly passionate about what they do. Thank you! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow! The atmosphere, the food, the service, really everything absolute excellent! You can see and feel that everything is made with love. We talked a bit with the owners, it’s really interesting how they started the restaurant and made the interior. The chef is only 27 years old but a genius, the food is amazing. They even make their own bread, we asked for a whole one to take away because it’s just soooo tasty with 140 years old yeast! We will come back for sure!

We were here for my fiancée's birthday dinner. The food was just fantastic! Even for me as a "non-100% vegan" it tasted phenomenal. The vegan tiramisu at the end has once again triggered an explosion of flavour. In addition, all employees were incredibly kind and nice. Even if the dishes seem a little more expensive in comparison, they beat everything due to the incredible quality. We will be happy to come back!

Full vegan menu done right. In the heart of Cagliari, Cavò bistrot is a must for vegetarians and vegans (or anyone, really) visiting the city. We were hosted by their wonderful team (English speaking), very welcoming and smiling. The place itself is beautifully decorated. More on the “bohemian chic” side, with a relaxed atmosphere. The food and the drinks were excellent all around. We started with the fried mushrooms, and tried 3 of their dishes (spicy spaghetti, the egglplant “parmigiana” and the gnocchi). All were amazing, though I must admit the gnocchi with vegan cheese and pistochios was the star of the evening. (Matched with a great red wine, following the staff recommandations) We followed up with the veganisu and the brownie. For all chocolate lovers, the latter is a must! Its generously served and very tasty. We closed the evening with the homemade limoncello and the grappa, the cherry on the top. We really had a pleasant evening at Cavò and would definitely come again. Special thanks to the the staff for being so nice to us, we don’t see this everywhere. (One of the women of the staff brought us the complete tea collection of the restaurant, served on small plates so we could smell, just to make sure we choose the « perfect tea » for us) If you are looking for a great vegan restaurant in Cagliari, you should not look any further than Cavò: they have got you covered! We had a beautiful experience in this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was warm and inviting. I felt right at home here. Was not let down by the food, it held up. I highly recommend you check this hidden gem out!

The food and drinks were both delicious (we highly recommend the cheesecake!). The staff was also great - friendly and helpful, so we felt very welcomed there. Thank you for having us those few times - we love you!

What a great vegan place in the heart of Cagliari. Sardinia, Italy!!! The owner and his staff were so friendly and happy to give you recommendations for drinks and food! There were plenty of places to sit and eat, both inside and out! I tried their gnocchi which was make with some bolognese, mozzarella and porcini mushrooms . So good! My wife tried the bruschetta that started with a butternut squash layer then added balls of mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, and porcini mushrooms! Yummy! A must try if you're vegan or not!

With all of the amazing cheese to be had in Sardinia, being lactose intolerant broke my heart a little! So we went out of our way to find this place, knowing there was a vegan cacio e pepe. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Another surprising highlight was the Sardinan Spritz I decided to try after lunch. I hadn't tried Mirto until then, but it inspired me to pick some up so that I could bring it home and try to recreate the deliciousness.

This is a vegan place. You will only find out once you get the menu but by that time you already got your water and you're kinda committed. Gave it a try and it was....interesting. I would not repeat unless they advertise their vegan-ess more prominently but it was good

The one fully-dedicated vegan spot in Cagliari? If not, then it's definitely the best. Delicious takes on old classics including a "Cashew e Pepe" that my wife is still talking about several months on. A great place for herbivores and omnivores alike. Also, really enjoyed the mirto spritz we both enjoyed! Great spot with lovely street dining for the warmer months.

Sat outside and had a lovely meal. Everything was so fresh and simple yet delicious. A perfect lunch. Service was lovely.
