Cayo Espanto

We staying in the aurora villa with another couple and had an amazing time! The Villa was 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and had a living area in between which gave a nice element of privacy! The Villa was beautiful, well kept and clean! Housekeeping came several times a day and we never really saw them but we saw the results! Fresh towels, swept and clean, made beds! Our houseman Eddie and his helper Ronnie were just a call away and quick to respond to our every desire! We barely had to ask because they learned our favorites and always showed up at the right time to serve us! We loved the food so much and never got tired of the vast selection of offerings by Chef! He did a fantastic job and it clearly very skilled and creative. We never saw any other guest which was nice and private! The island is immaculate! We enjoyed the excursions arranged by the staff and did some amazing snorkeling at Hol Chan!

Our stay at Cayo Espanto was awesome. The staff treats you like royalty. Food is delicious and anything you want they provide. The bedding and pillows were so soft and cozy, you feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. Sit back, enjoy the beautiful view, drinks and have the time of your life.

Everything was perfect from the moment we were picked up at the San Pedro municipal dock to the return trip back to San Pedro. Our journey started when we were met at the dock by our houseman Kevin and the boat captain. The relaxing boat ride is less than 10 minutes from dock to dock. Upon arriving to the island we were greeted by the entire staff waving as we pulled up to our private dock. Everyone introduced themselves and provided the four or us with one of their frozen island specialty drinks.| |We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath Casa Aurora. The views from this villa were breathtaking. We experienced 100% total privacy our entire stay. The private plunge pool had plenty of room for four. The bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were more comfortable than our beds at home. A medium-sized living room separates the two bedrooms providing additional privacy. Linens, pillows, soaps, shampoos, etc. were top of the line. The large wrap around deck had two separate sunning areas with chaise lounge chairs and hammocks. The front bedroom had 180-degree views of the ocean. Your are literally steps from your own private beach area. The villa has a bar refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, water and several types of beers. ||Each meal is prepared by the professional chef based on the questionnaire you fill out prior to arrival. There were multiple choices for each meal and the food was prepared to perfection. Additional snacks, adult beverages, soft drinks, etc. were available around the clock. Everything we asked for arrived within minutes of being requested. Two housemen are assigned to each villa. Kevin and Jose were our housemen. Both have been with the island for ten years. They were extremely professional and maintaining your privacy while providing 5-star service was their main priority. We enjoyed our talks with them throughout our stay. Request them if you plan to stay and you won't be disappointed. This was our fifth trip to Belize and I can’t remember a more relaxed atmosphere than the time we spent at Casa Aurora. We will definitely return in the future!

What an AMAZING place!! We have traveled many places, but this place is special. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Eddie and Jose ,housemen, for taking care of us. Everything is first class, and I mean everything. You are met at the airport and walked through customs to your helicopter or plane and then the magic begins. You are greeted on the island by the staff and escorted to your villa for an unforgettable vacation. The chef and his staff make sure they prepare something special for each and every meal. Every meal is prepared based on your personal preference. The word “no” does not exist on fantasy island. If you want something just ask. We felt like we were the only ones on our on private island. The sunsets compare to no others you’ve seen. You can do as much or as little as you like. We hated to leave but we made a promise we would be back. Thank you Erica for making sure all of our dreams came true. When you have a resort that has employees that have been there for more than 10 years that speaks volumes. Thank you again for a magical week!

WOW OVER THE TOP LUXURY!!! How can we ever do another vacation after staying at Cayo Espanto! We stayed 4 nights with our teen girls ages 13 and 15. We were spoiled with the stunning private room. The most incredible meals and service! You can just do nothing and be spoiled or be adventurous! We chose both. We did 2 days of luxury at Sea, one diving day and one day of tubing for the girls. Each adventure was just picture perfect and exciting! The diving is so warm and clear. The snorkeling is just like being in a live aquarium. All the dive masters and boat guides are just the best of the best and so much fun! We hope we can return someday soon! It was incredible in every way!!!!

Cayo Espanto exceeded all of our high expectations. My wife and I have traveled the world and have stayed at the best hotels and Cayo Espanto honestly beat out what was our first choice for the most unique and exceptional experience. Our experience was made perfect by the entire staff but Rosita, general manager, Eddie or houseman and his assistant Brandon, chef Cynthia Murillo's and Wilson Vasquez, and boat captain German and his crew Geronimo and Max were truly exceptional. My wife, son, daughter in law and myself celebrated my wife's 80th birthday in a way she will never forget. In fact she is still attempting to call Edie on the walkie-talkie. We did two luxury boat trips on the Sarah Kate and Wow, the water was so clear the reef beautiful and the variety of fish endless. The picnic lunch was magical, having the bounty you caught prepared while you are enjoying a cold drink on another private island was incredible.||If you want to stay in the perfect beach bungalow, with endless views of the|Caribbean, be totally pampered and eat scrumptious food, then look no further than Cayo Espanto.

We just keep coming back. We have stayed in Solana for years now and have had Jesus as our houseman. We are trying a new villa next year and are excited. This place feels like home. It's a bit rustic but you're on a tiny island in Central America, for goodness sakes.||The fishing is what brings us back. Our guides are fantastic and we have become good friends on the water. The stories we could tell would amaze you. The birdwatching opportunities will astound you. There are many fun things to do. There is not a deep water beach but several nearby and they are happy to arrange to take you places to swim and picnic.||If you seek good food, service, and quiet, then this is the place. The people keep us coming back. The team is exceptional and we love them. If you need something, all you need to do is ask.

This resort is everything - we went with a group of couples and rented the entire island for 4 days. The food is second to none and there is always a fresh fish, shellfish, or vegetable option with special attention paid to all the guests and fabulous dinners and dinner locations around the island. They make all of the excursions and trips extremely easy on the logistics side and all of the guides were very friendly. All of the staff is terrific - Johnny and Brandon were our house-men and they were on it at all times with our every request. The manager and lead chef also deserve special praise. Go here for sure - with others or solo.
