We celebrated my mother's birthday last night, and the service and warm feeling that the staff displays is truly priceless. Feels like family . Our waitress was amazing. She handled a large party with ease. She was always smiling and patient with all of us . Party of 15 ( with kids) . Will be back again . 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for her !

While the space is not overly fancy, it’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable, making it ideal for family dinners or casual get-togethers with friends. The service was fantastic. Our server, though I regret not remembering his name, was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we were well taken care of, and our food arrived quickly and freshly prepared. Now, let’s get to the real highlight – the food. Cayo Esquivel is no joke when it comes to serving high-quality seafood at a price that feels almost too good to be true. Seafood Parrillada ($29.99) This dish is a must-try. For just under $30, you get an enormous platter of seafood, including two succulent lobster tails and a generous assortment of shrimp, fish, calamari, and more. Every bite was fresh and flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. It's so plentiful that it's easily sharable between two people. Eugenia at the Bird Road location is the best. She treats my parents like family every time they come here. Today I joined them and I can see why they love her. She’s always giving the best recommendations to the point they order what she recommends. The food was delicious and the grilled snapper with shrimp was out of hand good. Highly recommend and please ask for Eugenia. You’ll love her!!!

Great restaurant amazing food, prompt and courteous service. Suggest the Hog Fried Fish and Grilled Seafood platter theh are delicious. This was our first time and can't wait for the next visit. Our waiter was Talaima and she was very sweet and attentive to details. Great atmosphere!We ate the food so fast we forgot to snap a Pic

The food was fresh and wonderful. My husband got a ‘sopon marinero’ and said it’s the best he’s eaten in Miami. He is extremely picky so this is high praise. Our server Jadira was honestly excellent. She was very attentive and helpful. Would recommend eating here 100%!

I came here because I kept reading that even the pickiest eaters—especially parents!—left happy and full. That was all the encouragement I needed, and I’m so glad I listened. We had the exact experience people raved about, and then some. Our server, Laura, was absolutely wonderful—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel right at home and took excellent care of us from start to finish. The service was seamless, and every detail felt thoughtful. And the food? Delish doesn’t even begin to cover it. My dad ordered the hogfish (pez perro) and didn’t leave a single bite behind, which is saying something. My mom had the sopón marinero and couldn’t stop talking about how flavorful and comforting it was. I went with the camarones enchilados, and wow— rich, and perfectly cooked. Every dish was bursting with flavor and made with care. We left full, happy, and already planning our return. This place is officially on our list anytime my parents are craving really good seafood—and I’m not waiting for an excuse to come back!
