Google
What a wonderful surprise. We were there on a weeknight so there was not much of a crowd. I don't give many "5s" but this place deserved it. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere and the food far exceeded my expectations, as well as those of the rest of the table. Our waiter was excellent, friendly and honest with his suggestions. The babaganoush was especially good as was the 'Chop Chop' entree and the Dubai Chocolate desert. Highly recommend! Value for price: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Service: 5 Mixed drinks: 4.5 Food: 4.5 The only detraction Is the availability of parking especially with construction in the area. I would call them for suggestions or take an Uber if you can.

Google
Aziz was the best! He not only gave us amazing service, but recommendations and conversation. Excellent customer service feels a little rare these days, but that adds to what makes Cazbar feel like a rare, special experience no matter what time of day you visit. The food is amazing (kudos to everybody in the kitchen 😮‍💨), and the vibe is top tier (beautiful decor, perfect lighting, and unhurried atmosphere for patrons), and personally I was excited to finally try Turkish tea and coffee! Did not disappoint! All the mezes were delicious, and I had the Lamb Moussaka and my sister had the Stuffed Eggplant! *I didn't get paid to review; I'm a local who finally got around to leaving a review.

We have been dining at Cazbar for nearly 20 years and we always have a great meal and enjoy ourselves. The food is excellent and among our favorites are the Ciger, which is crispy chicken livers, the spinach pie, the lamb chops, the Chicken Pirzola, and the Adana Iskendr. The warm bread is delicious and the cocktails are great too, especially the spicy pineapple margarita. We also love the baklava and Turkish coffee, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Service is always wonderful, especially Azil who is always friendly, kind, helpful and efficient. Azil makes sure you have everything you need and makes you feel at home even if it’s your first time there. Dining at Cazbar inspired us to travel to Istanbul some years ago and we found the experience solidified our appreciation of the food at Cazbar.

Cazbar makes for a perfect night out, whether you’re with your partner or a group of friends. Nestled in the heart of Baltimore, this hidden gem captures the essence of the Mediterranean with its dim lighting, rustic décor, and cozy atmosphere. On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant truly comes alive with lively belly dancing performances—an entertaining complement to an already vibrant dining experience. We ordered the Mixed Platter for Two, which came with a generous assortment of hummus dips and a flavorful mix of lamb, beef, chicken, and salmon. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and paired beautifully with rice. To finish, the baklava was the perfect sweet touch—flaky, nutty, and delicious. The service was attentive and efficient throughout the evening, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. While parking can be a bit tricky, it’s a small tradeoff for such a great meal and atmosphere. Overall: A must-visit spot in Baltimore for anyone craving authentic Mediterranean cuisine, warm service, and a lively ambiance.

Google
Aziz was an amazing waiter! He made sure to check in with our table about our needs and brought out or food in a timely manner. Plus the food was amazing! I got lamb 3 ways, a figtini, and a complementary piece of birthday cake.

Google
Our server was Aziz who was amazing and fast in service. Food was delicious with Vegan options and happy hour discounts between 4pm-6pm. Traditional coffee feels amazing after food. Highly recommended:)

Google
The workplace decided to have a Farewell lunch at the Cazbar in Baltimore. There was 18 employees that attended. We were greeted and taken care of by Aziz. He was the perfect host. We didn't wait long for our food and were all able to eat at the same time. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was terrific. I highly recommend this location for work functions, as it worked out perfectly for us. Thank you very much Aziz.

Google
Had a wonderful meal at Cazbar a few weeks ago. Ariz was fantastic and took great care of us. The food is authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. Disappointed in the city for making parking such a challenge but the food and atmosphere is totally worth a short walk! Their happy hour specials are incredible. I can't recommend this place enough and look forward to our next visit!

Yelp
I was having a bad day and was craving authentic hummus. My friend raves about Cazbar so I knew they would get me right! Once I arrived I realized I walk by the restaurant often as I live and work in the area. The inside was so impressive! It was clean and nicely decorated. The staff were nice as well! I ordered the hummus and Dubai chocolate to go....both were so good! I also got to try a desert called Kazandibi and it was amazing!! It smells like crème brûlée and reminds me of flan!! It was honestly the best! I'll definitely be back to dine in!

Yelp
Cazbar is excellent! We stopped in here for dinner before a show at the Lyric. The menus are on tablets, which I thought was interesting. Our server was wonderful, explaining different menu items to us as we hadn't been there before. He recommended the Sultan's platter, which had a little taste of everything, and this was perfect! We got to try all of the mezzes, which I loved. Served with house bread, it included hummus, baba ghanoush, saksuka, and other dips. Each were excellent - and the server explained what each one was when served. The entree plate was excellent as well - portions for two for each of the different proteins, including salmon, shrimp, chicken, and beef. Served with either rice and orzo or quinoa. The meal was complimented perfectly with pistachio baklava for each of us. We had plenty of leftovers to take home as well. It was a delicious meal and I will be back!

Yelp
Cazbar is a hidden gem in downtown Baltimore. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to eat something different before heading out. We lucked up on finding Cazbar. The service and food was amazing, the lamb was my favorite but trying the flatbread was an experience. It was spicy, but I couldn't stop eating it. Now don't underestimate the level of alcohol in the drinks. The pic with the drink in the ice, I had to slowly sip it thru out the meal in order to Make it to the wedding later that evening. There was nothing that we order that wasn't fabulous!! And the server took the extra time walk us thru the menu to ensure we knew about each item. This place was beautiful!!! A must try!

Yelp
Cazbar is such a vibe. The food was delicious. The salmon was well seasoned and flavorful--I definitely recommend! We missed the belly dance show--I wish they had more times or lasted longer.

Yelp
Went to Happy Hour last time I came here was pre-covid I'm glad they are still open the food was very good and happy hour prices very affordable

Yelp
We visited the Cazbar location in Baltimore City for lunch to celebrate our anniversary and chose the three course lunch special. From the first bite to the last, everything was excellent. The cabbage soup was hearty and comforting, the hummus was smooth and flavorful, and the baba ghanoush had that perfect smoky depth that makes you want to linger over it. The warm bread at the table did not last long because it was too good. For our entrées, I had the kofte kebap and my husband had the chicken kebap. The kofte was rich, perfectly grilled, and full of flavor. It was the kind of dish you finish while already planning to order it again next time. The chicken was tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned. Portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and the prices were more than fair for the quality. Our server, Azlz, gave thoughtful recommendations, surprised us with a Turkish coffee on the house, and made us feel like welcome guests rather than customers. The pacing of the meal was spot on. Plates were cleared and the next course arrived smoothly and efficiently without ever feeling rushed. At one point we asked to move to another table to give a large party more space, and the host did not just agree, he encouraged us to pick whichever table we liked. That kind of easy hospitality stood out. The restaurant itself has a calming atmosphere, with the subtle scent of incense adding to the experience. We could not resist picking up a couple of Dubai chocolate bars for the road. And dessert was the pistachio cream sponge cake, which we shared. It was divine, the perfect middle ground between rich and airy, indulgent but not heavy, and something you will be glad you did not skip. Cazbar delivered on every front: food, service, and atmosphere. A memorable anniversary lunch and a place we would recommend without hesitation.

Yelp
Cazbar is a great pick if you like entertainment with your meal! Turkish belly dancers will dance between patrons at certain times of the evening (check website). My friends and I gathered here for a birthday and had a great time. The espresso martini was well made and the chicken sauté (English translation lol) was a generous portion. Everyone enjoyed their picks! Service was stellar!

Yelp
I was in Baltimore for a conference and some friends and I decided to have dinner here. The food is really good: very flavorful and lots of vegetarian options. We liked everything we ordered. Very comfortable ambiance and nice service. Lovely cocktails. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
For a starter, we ordered the trio of cold mezzes and got saksuka, hummus.... And something that was too spicy for me, haha *(I have no spice tolerance, so the bar is not high). I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the saksuka--I could have eaten an entire bowl of the stuff! 10/10 would order again--in fact, I'm already craving it! For me, the hummus was mostly a good textural contrast to the saksuka. For my entree, I ordered the Doner iskender. It was really good--and a HUGE portion! My only complaint was that the lamb pieces, while nice and tender, were VERY fatty (with unrendered fat), enough that I'll probably go with a different meat next time. But the dish as a whole was really great: perfectly generous with their yogurt sauce, awake amount of protein, some layer of flavorful red sauce with house bread underneath soaking up all the saucy goodness above. This portion really was HUGE--thankfully, it reheated wonderfully the next day! :) Will definitely be back. Possibly my next go-to anytime I'm in the neighborhood! It had a nice interior and fairly good amount of seating but seems popular for larger parties (at least on the weekends, when we went), which slowed service down. So just be sure to watch the time if you are on a schedule, as time will fly when you're here!

Yelp
Very nice restaurant. The ambience and decorations were great. It is clean and beautifully designed. I was part of a party of 2 on a Friday night and it was a first for both of us. There was a slight delay with our waiter, taking our drink orders, we waited about 10 or 15 minutes, even though they weren't crowded. Once I waved someone down, we had no more problems. We thoroughly enjoyed everything on the menu from the mock mocktails to the cocktails from the shrimp starter (meze) that I highly recommend to the warm baklava at the end of the meal. The belly dancing was a really nice addition to a great meal experience.
google avatar

Marie Y.

Yelp
We had a great time today at Cazbar. The food was great and our waiters did an amazing job!
google avatar

Briana C.

Yelp
Crazy good happy hour - all mezzes and beer/wine half off. It's lovely inside - moody and different than what you might expect from the outside. The bread is so good - crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I had the mezze sampler with the ezme tomato/peppers, hummus, and eggplant/yogurt and the lamb chops. Everthing was delicious and Aziz was a great waiter. All his recommendations hit the spot. Looking forward to trying different mezzes next time and dinner for sure.
google avatar

Amber F.

Yelp
Came for a timeleft dinner. Calamari was tasty and perfectly fried. The Doner pide was *chef's kiss*; not too bready with a good amount of meat. We finished the meal with their baklava (10/10). I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
google avatar

Zackary B.

Yelp
We enjoyed a vegetarian mezze platter and a veggie kebab. Both were very well spiced. Service was attentive and not intrusive. The Efes beer was good as was the Turkish coffee. The cheesecake was merely fine. But I certainly will be returning. A standout among Baltimore restaurants.

Yelp
For a ladies' Nite out, this was a great choice. The Party of 5 really enjoyed the food and the ombiance. Not only was the food good, the presentation was nice as well. Everyone tried something different, no complaints. My dish was a chef special the " Lamb Moussaka". This was wonderful! The only thing they didn't have was Drinks at this location it was BYOB, which I didn't know till I arrived, good thing there was a liquor store about a block down if you need. And no belly dancers at this time, but they will have that again soon. So if you are in the area, try them out!!
google avatar

Rupel J.

Yelp
This place was a little overhyped in my opinion. The food was okay, the pide was really good while the shawarma was average. dips were decent too. The service was pretty bad though. The server was very grumpy with us which was a bummer. He also kept trying to upsell which was kind of annoying. The ambiance is unique for sure with the belly dancing show though. We thought it would be a little bigger but it was still personal which was cool!
google avatar

Cheryl J.

Yelp
The food was excellent, and the belly dancing show was amazing, but the customer service was terrible. When I asked about splitting the check and multiple payments, the server/manager was arrogant and dismissive. Instead of answering politely, he seemed annoyed, even looking at the ceiling like he didn't want to be bothered. At the Columbia location, they allow multiple payments, even though they do one check. Here, I wasn't even asking to split the bill--just to use multiple payment methods. He insisted on a 3-card max, even counting cash as part of the limit, which made no sense. Since they use the same payment system, this restriction felt unnecessary. His bad attitude ruined the experience, and while I love the food and entertainment, I won't be rushing back to this location anytime soon.

Judy R.

Yelp
Had a wonderful pre-show birthday dinner last night that was a delicious assortment of mezzes, all outstanding choices (lamb chops, baba ganoush, calamari, and cheese wraps). A special shoutout to our server Aziz for making sure we had a sparkly birthday treat at the end of our meal. Can't wait to return!

Nancy R.

Yelp
Went in before a Orioles game, happened to be during happy hour & everything was fantastic. Aziz took great care of us & we'll definitely be back for dinner.
google avatar

Ozlem K.

Yelp
The ambiance was lovely, but the food was... let's say, an adventure. We ordered the usual suspects: mezes (hummus, içli köfte, yoğurtlu patlıcan, acılı ezme), baked okra, and çoban kavurma. The acılı ezme was passable, but the rest of the mezes were either bland or downright disappointing--especially the içli köfte, which I'm still trying to forget. The çoban kavurma was a rare bright spot in this culinary mystery. For the price, I expected a trip down memory lane to my grandmother's kitchen; instead, it felt more like a quick pit stop at a gas station. As a Turk, I won't be dragging any of my guests back here anytime soon--Philadelphia's got way better for half the price!

Lauren S.

Yelp
Date night success! First time there and the food and service from Aziz was top notch. He suggested we share the Sultans Platter. So much food! We couldn't finish but loved the variety and great flavors. Will be back.

Arina M.

Yelp
Food was great! Very friendly staff and the vibe was great too. I would only say that the tables could be less dusty, at least the table I was sitting at was dusty.

Yvette W.

Yelp
Laleh our server was amazing! So very attentive and kind. The food was on point. I think the lamb chops were the best I've EVER had. DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK

Hernán G.

Yelp
I am in town for work, and stepped out of the hotel for lunch. I was greeted with a cheerful hello as I walked in, and permitted to review the menu. I decided to stay for a lunch special. Wow! Delicious pumpkin soup, excellent creamy hummus, and a perfect adana kebab, with rice. The food was perfect and the service was flawless. I would have stayed for one of the delicious-looking desserts, but had to get back to a meeting. The lovely rustic-styled decor and comfy seats make for a relaxing experience. The price was extremely reasonable, too.
google avatar

Trecie S.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious and nice ambiance! It was quiet when we went, not like Cazbar in Columbia, but not sure if they've got the same thing going on in Baltimore now or not. I got the mixed grill and everything was delicious and the starter of the lamb egg roll type thing was so good
google avatar

Nakisha C.

Yelp
My first time eating Turkish and I'm glad it was here. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the service was great. Enjoyed the food and I loved that the menu was broad and included pictures. Very helpful if you're unfamiliar with the cuisine. Can't wait to try the columbia location where they have entertainment to go with the good food

Abby M.

Yelp
So glad Cazbar is back downtown! I had jury duty, and as soon as I saw cazbar had reopened, I knew that was where I would go.l for my lunch break. They have a great lunch special, three courses, for just $23. The jury duty stipend more than covers it! I picked the lentil soup, hummus, and chicken thigh cutlets. SO good. I'll definitely be back again for lunch and dinner.
google avatar

Eric G.

Yelp
I'm so glad Cazbar is open again. The best (and only?) Turkish restaurant in Baltimore City.

David R.

Yelp
This location is amazing! The service, ambiance, food is outstanding . I owe all the glory and honors to Michael, Angel and Superlative Chef. Within the past week of their grand reopening I've patronized this location 3x and I'm hooked.

Pj C.

Yelp
Outstanding dining experience last night at Casbar in Baltimore. When our party of five arrived, our table was still in use so the quick thinking staff opened up the upstairs dining area and we had our own private room! The food was fantastic! The cold mixed mezze plate was a fan favorite as were the mixed grille, Turkish ravioli and shrimp kebap. Turkish beer, wine and Raki were great and added to the festive atmosphere. We topped it off with an array of fabulous desserts and Turkish coffee! This special evening would not have been possible without the exceptional staff. Aziz and Servet were wonderful to us! Even though they had to run up and down a big flight of stairs every time, they did so with a smile! Everyone who came up and brought us food and drinks were very kind and professional. They even sent up the bellydancer! Overall a fantastic evening and look forward to our next visit!

Yelp
Being visitors, on a Monday night, we discovered this spot by accident. Talk about Kismet! First off the service was spectacular. There were 7 of us out for a birthday dinner. We had the Cazbar Sultan platter....as someone who is basically a meat & potato kind of gal I must say this was superb. Something for every appetite. A huge, HUGE platter of steak kebobs, chicken, lamb and salmon. Delicious rice and a slue of 6 different dips with a wonderful bread. 2 of the party were vegetarian and they had the eggplant. I found the beef kebobs especially enjoyable. Dessert came with the meal and was very sweet...but truthfully, I was soooo full by then. We all enjoyed a wonderful beer called Efes and at the end of the meal some fabulous tea. I'm from the west coast where almost every type of cuisine is available to me but I was seriously impressed by Cazbar and when I return to Baltimore I will definitely drop by for their food and hospitality. They should consider a restaurant on the other coast.

Teresa A.

Yelp
We came here for lunch, and loved everything about it. The decor is upscale Turkish. The service was friendly and helpful. And most of all, the food was delicious. We had the Ottoman 3-course lunch special. The lentil soup was brothy, and not the usually heavy puree, which we loved, especially after squeezing the juice of a lemon wedge in it. The baba ganoush was equally delicious, with the right complement of eggplant and spices. Don't be disappointed that the restaurant doesn't serve pita. The bread is out of this world. The doner plate was amazing. The meat was marinated in delicious spices and served over a nice rice pilaf. We ended the meal with Turkish tea and baklava. The baklava was fantastic, not overly syrupy, which can be the case. This was a nice relaxing meal that we highly enjoyed.
google avatar

Oznur B.

Yelp
Been their Columbia location and today was Baltimore stop. Compared to Columbia location , this one is really smaller. But the location is not bad and I was lucky to find the parking spot in front of the restaurant. Tried lahmacun and lamb kebab. And liKed the taste. But hummus was so bad. So maybe chef has to work on it. The hummus at Costco tastes better than this one.
google avatar

Henal M.

Yelp
5/5 for ambiance and food. We went on a Friday night at around 7pm and there was no crowd. It eventually filled up around 8pm. I was told there are belly dancers on Friday nights but we didn't see any. It's possible we left before it started (we left around 8:30-8:45pm). I'm a vegetarian and they have plenty of options for people like me. Their menu is very truthful about having limited vegan options (butter in rice). I ordered the baked okra and it came with rice (and bread if you request it). It was so flavorful and delicious! My husband ordered the tavuk sauté and it was literally the same as the baked okra but with chicken. He enjoyed his meal as well. The yelp check in offer included a small plate of hummus with bread. Theire hummus is to die for! It's so smooth and there must be more tahini in there because this type of hummus is not sold in stores. There are a few other vegetarian dishes I'd like to try so I will be going back! Also their bread is tooooo soft and warm!

Insia Z.

Yelp
A great Turkish spot in Mt. Vernon, so delicious! I love the vibe and the upstairs room (we made a reservation for 27 people), has really pretty lamps everywhere. Was good for a big party. My family and I got the Sultan platter, a mixed grill, and lamb adana kabob for 8 people and everything was amazing. All the kabobs and grilled meats were juicy, super flavorful, and perfectly grilled. The grilled pepper and pearl onion on the kabobs were a nice addition. There was a belly dancer at the end, it was a fun surprise, everyone had a great time. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
What a find! We were looking for something unique to try before a show at the Hippodrome and this fit the bill. We made online reservations which was great because it got full quick. We were greeted by our wonderful server who was from Turkey and she was so helpful with the menu and enthusiastic about many of the menu items. The menus were on tablets which was different and kind of fun! We started with the hummus sampler that we received for checking in on Yelp. It came with warm bread that they quickly refilled when we ran out. The hummus was DELISH! It was smooth and flavorful and just perfect! We each got a glass of wine to drink and that was lovely and we also tried the "Turkish" milk "shot" and kind of sipped it before dinner. It tasted just like a good and plenty and it was nice and cold. I enjoyed it. For dinner I had this beef wrap that was spicy and sooo flavorful. It was like a turkish meatball of sorts and it was just so well done. The rice and yogurt sauce it was served with really completed the dish. Wow. My husband had this lamb stew that was out of this world. It reminded me of a peruvian dish I love - lomo saltado. It had that spice with onions and tomatoes and it was warm and comforting. Excellent. For dessert we had turkish coffee which was like an espresso and we shared the two desserts they recommended. The flan was perfect and light and the other one (kind of like a baklava but not lol) was super sweet so they complimented each other along with the coffee. We left so satisfied and happy with our choice and were so happy to find this gem during our evening in Baltimore!

Yelp
I stumbled upon Cazbar by accident and it turned out to be a pretty good Turkish restaurant. Lahmacun ($9) - Turkish Pizza with Spicy Ground beef, Tomatoes, Onions & Lemon. I did enjoy this quite a bit, it has a lot of different flavors going on at once. Adana Shish Kebap ($20) - Ground Lamb mixed with imported Turkish Spices & Parsley. Adana's typically minced meat (lamb), dried red and green hot pepper, garlic and fresh red pepper are kneaded, coated on the skewers and grilled. It has a rather strong flavor (in a good way), more than your typical kabob. The meat's on point - very juicy, good grilling technique. I would definitely get this again. ** Overall - 3 1/2 stars. Solid food, reasonable portion sizes, good atmosphere & ambiance (lounge area on top floor) - good dating spot **

Yelp
Wow, we really loved Cazbar. Cazbar is a quaint and inviting restaurant located in the Mount Vernon area of Baltimore and an easy walk from the Hotel Indigo where we were staying. We were there on Friday night and we did not have a reservation. We were seated right away but they were doing a brisk business. We started with the trio of Mezes which was a choice of three mezes from their Mixed Meze Plate. We chose Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Yogurtlu Patlican. The hummus was excellent but the Yogurtlu Patlican was outstanding. I don't know what was in it besides yogurt, but it was really good. So good we needed more of Cazbar's delicious home made bread to finish it off. My wife and I shared the Lamb three Ways consisting of lamb chops, lamb Kebap & Adana Kebap Lamb Pirzol. Again an excellent dish. All of the lamb was cooked perfectly and was well seasoned and not dry. We had a great meal at Cazbar, it was one of the better or best Turkish places we have been too. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent. They have belly dancing too on some evenings. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Varying comments about this place but had enough stars next to it that thought we would give it a try. The place is small, however it does have a quaintness to it. Our waiter was efficient but not the friendliest. He gave us ample time to order but made no menu suggestions. We decided on the lamb pirzola and Coban Salatasi. Since we were splitting both plates, the assumption was the Coban (salad) would come out first... wrong. They both came out together... 10 minutes after ordering!? The Coban was good, tasty. The lamb was well done. We were not given the option of how we wanted it prepared. For lamb to come out that well done in 10 minutes leads one to believe that it was reheated and then put on our plate. It tasted reheated. Over all, not disappointed but not overwhelmed.

Yelp
Wow wow wow! Went for dinner tonight. We ordered spinach artichoke dip which was delicious! I had a free coupon from Yelp for hummus. This had to be the best hummus I have ever had. Outstanding! The kabop appetizer was half price tonight. The beef was so tender and delicious. I ordered the Manti - beef dumplings with yogurt sauce. So yummy!!! I couldn't eat it all and brought half of it home. We all shared baklava which was so good. My husband got lamb kabops which he loved and ate every bite. Loved this place and would definitely go back. I'd recommend getting a variety of dishes and share to try all the yummy dishes. Friendly staff. Parking is on the street so circle the block.

Bhavna A.

Yelp
Cazbar is the gold standard for Turkish fare. We got the assorted dip platter with Turkish bread. I loved my Adana Iskender- the lamb is tender, flavorful, and goes amazingly well with the rice. We also got a free hummus with check-in. And the manti. The friggin manti- whether vegan or the original beef is THE WAY TO GO! Next time, I'll get a bathtub full of manti to go. Falafels weren't the best, wait... are there falafels in turkey? You're better off with Amsterdam falafel and you'll be comparing every other falafel to it going forward. Did I just say "going forward?" Oh God. Moving on, the dessert platter was an assortment of baklava, milk pudding, rice pudding, and kadayif. The baklava was mushy and not so flavorful (go to the Turkish grocery stores for the best baklava), the milk pudding was a little meh, and the rice pudding could have used a little less cinnamon. So why 5 stars? I love the ambiance of this restaurant and it's perfect for a family. The desserts are not the greatest but their food is top notch.
google avatar

Kevin D.

Yelp
Delicious Turkish/Mediterranean food. Spelled Cazbar, but the Turkish C is actually a "J-" sound. Hence, the J hidden in the C of their logo. Start off with the Turkish pizza and falafel. 5/5 for both of them. The turkish pizza is a flatbread that has perfectly seasoned meat. Falafel is a different shape than your traditional, but the finger like form is more conducive to dipping in their smooth hummus. The right blend of crunch to soft insides. Lamb Doner 5/5 - meat was absolutely delicious. So tender and flavor packed with Mediterranean spices. Salmon sandwich 5/5 - a good lunch choice. Not too heavy, made with their fresh baked bread

Yelp
Are you in the mood for Turkish food but at the same time want something different? Come to Cazbar!! My boyfriend took me here on Friday night and we had a great time. We were seated right away and ordered our drinks. We ordered the meze platter and the mixed platter for two. The meze platter came our first. It included Hummus, baba ghanoush, ezme, patlican, şakşuka, haydari. If you don't know what to order you need to order this. Each spread was absolutely delicious. Cazbar has the best baba ghanoush I have ever had. We ordered a small portion which was enough for 2, I would say 4 at most. If you are a larger party I would order the large size. The mixed platter for two followed and did not disappoint. The portion for two came with rice, chicken kabob, lamb kabob, shrimp, and a side salad The seasoning was on point and the portion was enough for the two of us. We finished off with bakalava, which was perfectly delectable and sweet. During our dinner, a belly dancer came out to entertain the crowd. I thought this was a cool touch to our dinner and made the experience worth it. She came out around 9 PM on Friday and she preforms at 930 PM on Saturdays. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Baltimore area looking for a great meal and atmosphere.

Yelp
First, the food here is 4-5 stars. I have only glowing things to say about the deliciousness of the food here. I also enjoyed the decor and the service. Until after dinner... There were four of us and we settled the bill by splitting it. For some really weird reason, Cazbar adds 15% to your check and they don't tell you about it. I have never experienced this before. When we paid, we lingered for another 10 minutes. At that point, someone came out to say that they had forgotten to add 15% to the other party's bill and they presented them with a new charge that was not approved. It was really weird and unpleasant to be charged an automatic gratuity for a party of four with no upfront communication about that. Then, it was offensive to have another 15% charged to someone else's card without having them sign for it. It felt very uncomfortable and made me not want to come here again. If you charge an automatic gratuity this should be in large print all over your menu. The server should tell you about it again. If they forget to add a charge to your bill after you sign for it, the restaurant should have to absorb that cost. Sorry, due to shady practices I will not return.

Yelp
Flawless service, speed, quality, freshness, depth of acidity and spice, and presentation even though it was boxed! Thank you for the curbside pickup brought to our car 20 minutes after ordering! My friend and I felt so special opening up each package and marveling at the variations. Too many Mediterranean restaurants make food, especially meat, that all tastes the same, but this was vibrant food. I ordered muhamra, a walnut and red pepper dip served cold, and it had a round sweetness. The gluten free bread was a large, round, sliced like a pizza, lightly raised bread with Italian style seasonings (or at least that's what my western tongue can discern). It is so hard to find gluten free bread this good! I don't like stuffed grape leaves until now. I've got to find their secret recipe whose leaves aren't sour and uses rice and currants. The donner kebab was well balanced with a mild, roasted flavor. The Adana Shish kebab was a spicy blend of beef and lamb that left a gentle heat and paired beautifully with the cacik, a thick yogurt with shredded cucumber. The lamb moussaka was a layer of eggplant, layer of ground lamb and lots of cheese! The red onions had the sharpness cut with herbs, and the salad was lightly scattered with fresh, not dried, herbs and gentle acidity. Bottom line: well thought out dishes balanced from beginning to end that create and instantaneous comfort food fee with a high end presentation. None of the lamb was gamey, and each meat

Yelp
Yummy Turkish food. Beef, lamb, chicken, salmon, it was all delicious and I tried it all with the mix plate. The rice and dips are savory along with the bread. The ambiance inside is completely the best with Cultural decorations throughout. A must when in Baltimore.

Yelp
Lamb Moussaka was fantastic. There is a gluten free bread option! The server came right up to the car with mask and gloves.

Yelp
*DELIVERY REVIEW* I was in Baltimore last week for work and I had no time to leave my spot in Baltimore but I was very hungry!! I called Cazbar! My love! I asked about their delivery service, I found that they have their own delivery service not a third party. Just a $1.5 delivery fee (it's nothing!!) The gentleman who answered the phone was super nice ,polite and wasn't rushing me! I ordered lamb three way and a döner sandwich. It arrived on the promised time , hot , fresh and yummy! Everything was juicy and full of flavor! LAMB THREE WAYS & ADANA ISKENDER IS A MUST HAVE!!! :)) Do yourself a favor and if you're visiting Baltimore or live there , go to that place as much as you can! :)

Yelp
Okay this is probably one of my favorite restaurants. A group of friends and I visited for a friend's birthday. I ordered the wildflower wine, lamb mezze, and hummus. Nice light sampler Basically. I enjoyed the wine greatly. The atmosphere was amazing the belly dancer brought so much more life to the energy of the place that was already full of life. I really want to return! Great service as well!
