Cazuela Mexicana

We love this place. One of the best Pozoles we have had (even including homemade varieties!) In addition, their quesadillas are fairly loaded up with fillings. We keep coming back, due to the amazing food and attentive service. One recommendation for the restaurant is to lower the volume of TV with news playing (each time we come, this is the only downside.)

Mom, pop and son owned place there is love and passion in their food. Plenty of food, lovely atmosphere. Will go back again. We went again today, the entire family and enjoyed a wonderful filling, tasty lunch. Martin is the son and is a gracious host, we asked for things they didn't have and he was very polite and accommodating. We asked for spicy chili and he brought multiple varieties. Wonderful food. You got to try it.

Delicious and filling steak sopes! I love their salsa, especially the one that came with the chips. Very cute and homey space with plenty of seating available. Staff was so kind and welcoming. Definitely stop by if you are in the neighborhood. ♥️

Very good food, tasted truly home made. Ordered Chilaquiles and the Chile relleno plate. Very large portions, and were delicious. We will be making this out. Ew neighborhood spot.

Came particularly for pozole and it was exactly what I was looking for, but everything else was as delicious. Chile relleño taco was special and the nopal salad made a great add-on to everything. NB: Pozole available only on weekends.

I Came here with family some hours ago and I ordered a quesadilla de bistec with lettuce and a small horchata.The horchata was great and came in this cute little bottle,the quesadilla was very good that i had to order another one.The workers are very nice and respectful but overall the food was great and i would recommend this place to others!!

wonderful family run place! each dish was a hit—we loved every single thing we got. very fresh, full of flavor and great quality. also great portions, we left so full. the pozole was our favorite! service was super attentive and just genuinely kind. will be back! absolutely insist you come by if you're in the area or just take a short train to east harlem.

I've been going to this Mexican restaurant for the past year, and it has consistently been a fantastic experience. Conveniently located close to my partner's home, this place has become a regular spot for us. The service here is fantastic and the environment is great, especially with how cold it is inside--perfect for those hot days. The food is amazing, with flavors that make me feel like I'm back in Mexico. Their rice and beans, priced around seven dollars, are so damn good. The prices are extremely cheap and affordable, making it an excellent value for the quality of food. They also accept credit cards, which is a nice convenience. Every time I visit, everything is just so damn good. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and affordable Mexican meal.
