CB2

CB2 sells nice items. I typically like to shop online but this time I chose to visit the store. I visited the 3rd avenue store twice. To make a purchase and a return. Both times the energy screamed nobody wants to be bothered. Either they are all having a bad day or the dislike their manager. I will visit the store on Broadway. Hopefully, I will have a better experience.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction, which I would rate a negative -5 stars, regarding a dreadful shopping experience I've had with CB2's Third Avenue location. This incident, following a few years of shopping at Crate and Barrel and CB2, highlights a troubling trend of poor customer service that appears to be a frequent complaint from other customers. Last month, I purchased an outdoor planter at your Third Avenue location. I was informed at the time of purchase that the planter was not in the store and would be retrieved from the warehouse, with a promise of notification within two weeks upon its arrival. After two weeks with no call, I contacted the store and was told the planter had indeed arrived. When I asked why I hadn't been notified, the representative couldn't provide a straight answer. I then arranged to pick it up. On the day of pick-up, I called the branch again to confirm its availability and was assured it was there. However, upon my arrival later that day, I was dismayed to be informed that the planter had been shipped back to the warehouse, despite my two prior confirmation calls. I spoke with Manager Rory, who stated there was "nothing he can do" and suggested I re-order the item, adding that I would be responsible for the shipping cost to my home. I explained my frustration, having waited over two weeks and made arrangements to pick up the item after receiving confirmation. Had I known this would be the outcome, I would have purchased it online and had it shipped directly. Manager Rory (who, I believe, was severely lacking in management skills) then promised to call me the next day with a link to pay for shipping. It has now been seven days, and I have received no call from him. To compound this dreadful experience, I have yet to receive a refund for my original purchase. This entire ordeal has been incredibly frustrating and a waste of my time and effort. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau I wanted to share this experience and emphasize that this level of customer service is unacceptable. I will never shop at CB2 again and will continue to share my experience with family and friends. Furthermore, I still need to figure out a way to get my original purchase money back. This serves as a warning to anyone considering purchasing from this location.

Wonderful store. Spacious, great selection, beautiful high quality products, appealing setup. I love CB2’s aesthetic and am happy with all of my purchases there, both in store and online. I went to pick up an order and Corinne was excellent - she helped me choose between a few products, return some of what I ordered, and place the purchase. She also repacked my bags to be more manageable and suggested a second entrance to help get out more easily. Great experience and location!

The curbside pickup staff Yamina was super helpful! She went beyond and above to help me find out a solution to fit the piece in the viechel and personally helped me load the piece in the car which I really appreciated as I just got a shoulder injury.

Bought some outdoor throw pillows today. The service was decent and it was a pleasant experience.

My wife and I have been loyal CB2 customers for many years and have consistently enjoyed our experiences with the brand. Unfortunately, a recent visit to one of your locations left us extremely disappointed and concerned about the level of professionalism and service displayed by a member of the management team. We visited the store to process a straightforward exchange. The original couch we had purchased could not fit in our building’s elevator, so we returned to explore alternative options. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Zach, who was extremely helpful and personable. He worked with us to find a solution that fit our space, ultimately recommending two armchairs that still allowed us to maintain the aesthetic we originally envisioned. His service was excellent. Since this was an exchange, Zach introduced us to Rueben to assist with processing the transaction. We had used multiple forms of payment for the original purchase—including a few Visa gift cards and a credit card—and I attempted to explain this in advance so that the return could be properly handled. I no longer had access to the gift cards and wanted to ensure any refund was correctly issued. Unfortunately, Rueben appeared confused and overwhelmed by the process. When I inquired about the refund details, particularly a remaining balance that wasn’t clearly accounted for, his response was both defensive and unprofessional. At one point, he interrupted me and said, “I’m not trying to steal your money,” which was an inappropriate and unnecessary comment, as I had never made such an implication. I was simply seeking clarification about the refund method. When I mentioned that part of the purchase had been made with a Visa gift card, Rueben’s demeanor noticeably shifted. He became visibly irritated and made a dismissive facial gesture to a colleague, which I found disrespectful and uncomfortable. I felt compelled to explain that the gift cards were given to me as gifts—something that should not require justification in any case. Zach attempted to offer a practical solution: refund the original purchase and reprocess the new order using a merchandise credit. Rueben declined, stating, “Absolutely not, I’m not doing that,” in a condescending tone. He then contacted Client Services and stepped away. Once I explained the situation to the representative on the phone, the issue was resolved within minutes: a refund was issued to my credit card, and the remaining gift card balance was applied as merchandise credit—exactly what I had been asking for all along. At this point, the store manager, Loraine, stepped in to help finalize the transaction. She was apologetic and professional, and acknowledged that Rueben’s behavior was inappropriate. I appreciated her intervention and her willingness to take responsibility for what had occurred. While I typically wouldn’t write a complaint, I feel compelled to raise this issue due to the unprofessional and, frankly, disrespectful manner in which Rueben engaged with us. As a person of color, it was deeply disappointing to experience this type of treatment, particularly at a brand we’ve supported for years and where we’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars. I hope that this matter is taken seriously and escalated appropriately. Customer service—especially from store leadership—should be rooted in respect, understanding, and professionalism, regardless of a customer’s background or method of payment. Experiences like this diminish trust and can have a lasting impact on long-standing customer relationships.

Beautiful furniture here. Lots of sales people to assist you. The store is spacious and not cluttered. You can easily move around the store and view the furniture.

Needed a space to hold utensils & perhaps a bit of cooking material in our new apartment, and already love CB2. Kobe at this location actually did more to help figure out what items could work in our space and design than any other associate I've ever interacted with. Asked about space considerations, use, other furniture in the space, practically drew up a floor plan for us. We ended up purchasing and are delighted with a small counter / cadenza piece bc of his help. Will definitely return to fill in more over the years.

Total lack of common sense. I wanted to order a desk and a bed. I was told that some parts will arrive at the end of Jan 2024. There will be multiple shipments and I need to pay separetly for each shipment. .Some parts of the bed and desk will be available in December 2024 (!) and I also need to pay for this delivery separetely. I wanted to order A BED and a DESK, not parts of a bed/desk. What's the point of having some parts of a bed or desk that will be ready to use at the end of 2024 delivered almost a year from now. I've never heard of something so ridiculous. Just insane. The bed is advertised as Clearance - FINAL SALE ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED but it will be available (ALL PARTS) in December 2024. Bye Bye CB2.

I had a negative experience here but after reading the other reviews it seems like my experience is not unique. I'm furnishing a new apartment from almost a blank slate so am looking to purchase many items, and asked for help from their complimentary design services. I made an appointment and sat down with a designer for an hour and explained our needs and tastes, and provided our floor plan and photos. The designer was going on vacation the following week, and said they'd send us a design proposal the week after. Three weeks later we still hadn't heard back, so I called CB2 and asked to speak with the designer. She wasn't around, and the person who picked up acted as if they could care less - and hung up mid-sentence while I was trying to leave a message for our designer. The designer has yet to call me back and it's now almost a month since we initially met...

I am an interior designer who is often in this showroom. Not only for the reason that it sits underneath the Decoration and Design building but rather because its filled with amazing things and very friendly sales help. My recent sales person, Zachory was not only very knowledgeable but he was thoughtful and really took his time to take care of me and my client. He is someone that they should gice a big fat raise to and make lead sales person but that is just my interior designer's opinion. Thank you Zachory. We look forward to our delivery.

Beautiful home decorations, with lots of selections to choose from. My first time visiting, but they didn't have what I was looking for. The place is definitely aesthetically pleasing and will visit again.

Sales associates at this particular location are not helpful. I have been 6-7 times in the past 3 months and the experience is always the same. Anytime you want help, it's like you're bothering them. If you want to shop at CB2, I suggest you go to any other location because this is 100% the worst one due to their customer service.

AWFUL! I regret the day I made a significant purchase from this store. Furniture was delivered damaged both attempts. They don't do what they promise such as issue a store credit for the aggravation and time loss to stay home multiple times and inspect the failed delivery each time. They were on high alert that the velvet fabric would be damaged with any poor handling and any mishandling and still they didn't do what was necessary to alert the warehouse and their delivery partners. The manager G acted as if he never spoke to me on the phone and promised to call me back with a store credit, which never came to pass. I got the runaround several times. All the reps care about is to make a commission. Awful experience, poor quality furniture, no warranty on any item, etc. I wish I knew all this before making any serious purchase through this store and CB2 in general.

So there's a taxonomy of furniture stores that we're taught: Target, then Wayfair, then like CB2 and West Elm, then Restoration Hardware, then some Danish company where the chairs look like apostrophes. Folks, CB2 does not deserve its spot. Covid supply chain issues aside, their customer service is garbage. Schedule orders for delivery, and then cancel the morning of because a piece is missing (you didn't know this ahead of time?). There's some glitch in the system where even after you schedule delivers, they send you a text every day saying they're read to schedule. Just a nightmare. As for the furniture that did come: thoroughly not impressed. Wobbly chairs out of the truck, sticker placed on the glass table that leaves permanent residue - just junior quality across the board. Millennials, build your homes elsewhere. Either save up and dish out on the next level up, or be crafty and go down-market. There's no reason to pay this much for mediocrity these days.

I ordered 10 office desks and lounge set, multiple accessories for my client new office in the last minutes . the CB2 rep was fantastic! she not only scheduled the delivery for all the furniture in the following week, she coordinated with delivery group perfectly to meet the schedule and complete all the assembly services.

I love this place. Everything is exactly my style. It's such a modern day store. All the styles are so youthful and stylish. There are so many looks but somehow almost every piece in the store could come together to make an awesome room. You can find subtle pieces here or cool statement pieces. It's a great place for faux plants that look pretty realistic. I originally found this place looking for a realistic fake monstera leaf. They have the best I could find online. When I went in for them, I discovered the whole place was a gem. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would for sure recommend this place. It's a cool place to window shop for ideas as well. I saw things there I never new I needed in my life.

CB2 IS UNRELIABLE !! I would not order from them again. I ordered a table in July and have been told 4 times that it would be delayed. Now it's to the end of October. They say it is a "global problem" but it seems that West Elm and EQ3 are not part of this "global problem" as I have gotten furniture from these places as promised. If CB2 had such a problem, they should have told me from the beginning that the delivery time was questionable and I would have made a decision to stay with them or shop elsewhere. DON'T TRUST THEM.

CB2 is my favorite furniture store but something is off about the staff at this location. I stay few blocks away and I often walk into this store nowadays, as I'm doing up my apartment. 8 out of 10 times you come across disinterested and rude staff, specially the managers. I mean CEOs of big firms might be humbler than them. It's annoying and hilarious at the same time like what's the air all about ? Release it. The Junior staff is more helpful and I prefer interacting with them. I was wondering if I'm The only one who feels this ways but after reading multiple reviews I realized indeed the floor management at this place suffers from some sort of superiority complex and their aim to look as disinterested as possible. If anyone from their corporate office happens to read this, pls take action and course correct. Such incompetent floor management only reduces the possibility of generating more revenue.

DO NOT order from this company! I waited 6 months for a dresser was given a delivery date, stayed ome from work lost business only to have no one show up! I could not reach the compant through text, email or calls. finally got through the next day to be offered 15% off which amounts to nothing so I had to cancel the order! Most reliable company's would rather give a bigger discount Or waive the fee, not CB2. I will never ever order from them again!!

I eventually found an Amazing staff! The issue I had was... I was refused access to the bathroom after about 2 or 3 hours of shopping and US$4,100.00 spent, I had to walk across the street to use the restroom at home depot; I felt disrespected as a customer and as a human being - terrible, just terrible, it was humiliating. I get this is a corporate policy? Maybe CB2 could add a customer bathroom in that large showroom?

There is so much to see here! I'm not too crazy about the layout as it seems like everything is grouped together on a large but seemingly cramped showroom floor. The way it's staged has most of the furniture grouped together by area of the home they would be located, but the sections are so cramped that you easily get overwhelmed. This place is great if you are looking to see/test out a small list of big furniture pieces, other than that you really can't go wrong just ordering online or from their catalog. It would def be great if the showroom space was larger. Overall, they do have a decent amount of furniture and decor and it's easy to see most, if not all of the things that are currently available in their catalog. The quality of their furniture is good and affordable and they have great and cool decor.

terrible experience. the costumer service is no helpful at all. i went there and somebody ask me if was looking for something i say yes. and he just say oh is en the back section. i went there to look for sheets. and was another sales person jsut looking at me with out ask if i need help. The costumer experience here is the worst.

Any place that sells Disco Gnomes is the place for me. CB2 is like a High End Ikea or a Hipster Crate & Barrel. Though, I must admit, the couches are not for my demographic. They are low, low, low. I'm too fat and my right knee is too bad for me to heave myself off of them on a daily basis. The beds are low as well. This is no Ethan Allen sleigh bed that you have to buy steps to get out of. But the that's to be expected with Modern styled furnishings. And everything IS Mod! Lacquered, glossy red credenzas. Brushed stainless steel vases. And Disco Gnomes! The only thing I was left wanting for was a larger selection of items. But quality beats quantity any day. I can't complain.

Just received my second Hayes Planter and its in worse condition than the first. I do not understand why CB2s packaging center does not cushion, or properly wrap their products. Instead of this planter being thrown in a box upside down... this planter was thrown in a smaller box and sideways. NO WRAPPING besides tissue over item, and large bubble wrapping around the sides and bottom BUT without any air in the bubbles. Absolutely no effort. I am definitely looking forward to waiting on hold for another hour.

Came here with a few friends that were shopping for furniture and found more than a few things that I'd want to get myself. I had never heard of CB2 before tagging along with a couple of friends, but I'll be sure to remember them now. They've got some really nice furniture that looks trendy while still being functional classy. There are a few odd pieces here and there, but for the most part, I could easily see most of their stuff living in my apt. The prices were also surprisingly good. This isn't IKEA low, but everything was much cheaper than I expected. The one thing I didn't much care for was that the staff wasn't particularly helpful or interested in us. Que sera. If you're in the market for furniture and want something nice, better quality than IKEA, but don't want to break the bank, this is probably going to be a good place to at last stop by to check out their offerings.

You're better off trolling the industrial area at the end of the month for discarded furniture than dealing with these clowns. The quality of the furniture is mediocre at best, the customer service is dog shit and their prices are inflated to say the least.

I called to confirm that a piece of furniture i found online was available at the store to come look at. The staff were super friendly and knowledgable of the floor items. I ended up coming to the store to make the purchase and couldn't decide between two pieces. Derek helped me figure out which one would work best for my needs & lifestyle. Super helpful!! I bought the coffee table and am having it shipped to my apartment, it was a very smooth, friendly and efficient process!

Guys, come on. My wife and I were ignored by multiple sales associates. Finally asked someone for help and they said they were busy boxing items (ummm living clients might be more important than inanimate objects?). As we were leaving two sales associates asked if we needed help, from the chairs that they were reclining from - I thought they were customers because they were just chilling. Very nice products but might as well order from home due to the lack of help.

Yesterday when I was out with my daughter we stopped in CB2. We are getting ready to entertain for the holidays. My daughter saw something she wanted. The item was on display. After she searched all over to find it she asked a sales clerk. The person couldn't find it either. Finally someone else that worked there said that it was in the stock room. Meantime I'm waiting with her. I already knew I didn't need anything. Finally they returned with her item, she paid, and we left. A short stop turned in to a time consuming experience. They need to have items that are displayed on the showroom floor ready for purchase. We thought that was strange. I'm sure we will check this store out again when we need something for entertaining. I found that this store has about everything you need to set a table. I enjoy some of the quirky designs. As for furniture, I've checked here and found the prices too high. I needed a chair. They don't use promotions, coupons, or put things on sale typically. At least not that I know of. I thought it was supposed to be a step down from Crate and Barrel. I feel it is just as pricy. It's just a different style of decor.

I saw the onyx raw edge bowl online and had to have one. I live in queens so it's a hour trip each way but I wanted that bowl lol. I get to the store and the store is beautiful. I look around for the bowl but I don't see it anywhere. I see one that looks vaguely like it but not nearly as rustic. I ask Jeffery a salesman if they have the bowl. He said yes and pointed to the bowl I had seen. I told him the looks nothing like the picture. He said each bowl will be a little different. That I get but this looks nothing like it. Jeffery offered to bring out a few more of them to see if I liked any of those bowls. He was extremely nice as well as knowledgeable. After looking at a few of the bowls I found one that I like even better than the one in the picture. It's not nearly as rustic as the one in the picture but the color is much richer. I also bought three marble balls to go into the bowl. If you see this bowl and decide you want it I strongly suggest you go in and pick it out in person. Friendly and impeccable service. I called to ask for several items to be reserved for pickup. They were set aside for me, and the last one that was unavailable was offered to be shipped to me at no additional cost. In and out quickly with no fuss - very pleased.

Seriously, can I just buy the entire store. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about CB2. If you want to decorate your home and living space with quality products retailed at moderate prices, then CB2 is the best place to shop. Their colorful, contemporary and modern style home and office accessories are refreshing, new designs and can really add some punch of hipness to any drab and ordinary living/work space. If you love Crate & Barrel, then you may love CB2 even more. They sell a wide array of furniture and accessories for every room of your house. The pricing varies and some products can range from cheap to expensive, but the quality is great. You can't compare to the likes of other stores such as IKEA. I've had a share of IKEA pieces, and their furniture is a temporary solution for the home/office. You may be paying more at CB2, but you're certainly getting bang for your buck. Another plus, CB2 furniture comes already assembled. I highly appreciate the variety of fun colors and patterns that CB2 accessories offers as it adds a lot of character to any space. CB2 makes home/office decorating super easy even for those who are clueless when it comes to interior design and decoration. All in all, this is a fun store to shop if searching for some new furniture and accessories for the home or office. I never get bored in this store, unlike a lot of other places where the style is often generic, boring, and very predictable. For now, CB2 has a smaller selection and inventory of items and styles when compared to the original Crate & Barrel. I can only hope they'd expand the selection over time. If you live far from the store or outside Manhattan, you can always ask for the items to be shipped to your home.

Do not trust their estimate on shipping arrival date!! Went into the store very early December and picked out a couple chairs for the living room. The sales associate assisted and mentioned that the chairs would arrive within the next couple weeks (in time for our family gathering for the holidays). The estimated date of when the chair should have shown up is TODAY. I had to take the initiative to call them and ask on the status of the shipment. They mentioned that it would not arrive until well after Christmas - by end of month. Are you kidding me?! The whole point of purchasing chairs was for the family gathering and it takes nearly a month for arrival?! DO NOT TRUST THEIR ESTIMATE ON SHIPPING ARRIVAL DATE! Ever.

Terrible customer service. Corrine (sp?) is the absolute worst and gave me nothing but attitude the entire transaction.

Awful customer service. Everyone is always rude and reluctant to help. The staff (Nishan) and the floor manager are really rude and racially profile customers. Some other posts here talk about racism and it's true. Really unpleasant experience going into this store and feel awful spending money here

I tried to buy a sofa there ( walking distance due to Covid ) and they are extremely racists with Latin People. I ended up buying it in Soho . I was there(58th st ) 2 times and Karina the manager is useless . Si eres latino no vayas y evítate la pena de que te traten mal .

I love CB2 and am so happy they finally came to Philly! My only issue is that EVERY time I go in I am constantly getting asked if I need any help, if I am looking for anything specific, etc. The last time I was in, my count was 5x - 2 by the same associate. I was there for maybe 15 minutes. It's a little much. When you are looking for furniture/housewares...everything is pretty much right in front of you. I don't mind if someone asks if I need help 1 or 2x but after that, it's too much.

Much bigger than the one in SoHo, easier to browse around and feels less cramped. The staff are really nice, making the whole shopping experience enjoyable. We came here to pick up online orders and also to browse around. Their merchandise tend to be more compact and at a slightly lower price point than Crate and Barrel, making it appealing for the city life of high density, where every square foot of your living space is precious and should be properly exploited. If Ikea is getting sore on the eyes and you can spare some more $$, definitely check out CB2.

Second time visiting this location and experiencing rude customer service. I'm not sure why it seems like they're discriminating by age or race, but after waiting 20 minutes to be assisted with a return went to the cashier who asked for the next customer and was told, "she didn't see me there." Perhaps it was because of a return, but she instead repeated she hadn't seen me there rudely while apologizing to the older white woman. As a repeat customer and stylist who recommends CB2 to clients I hate the customer service I've experienced here another employee saw me waiting and said nothing made eye contact and looked away no greeting no I'll be with you in a moment. Soho location is far warmer and better at attending to people. They should check themselves here..

Worse customer service! Don't not trust their estimated time on shipping either! I went into the CB2 location beginning of January and bought a couch. I was told only half the couch was in stock and the other half would come back into stock by end of January the LATEST. I was assured that it would be there due to moving into a new apt and needed to have in furnished. I also end up buying an ottoman, coffee table and a bed frame from them. I wanted everything to be ship together in one go. Fast forward to the end of January/beginning of February, I had to call the store to ask about my order. I called to speak to a manager and they couldn't give me a manager to talk to and told me my couch may not arrive til mid March(MAYBE). I would have never have bought the other furniture if I had to wait till MAYBE march for a couch. I tried to explain to them that when you buy a couch, you tend to buy furniture around the color and shape of the couch. After I talked to them, I call customer service. I will say they were super pleasant but couldn't help because they only dealt with online orders. Next day I had to physically go into the store, for the third time to deal with this issue head on. I had to ask to talk to a manager, which he was completely unpleasant and he made it seem like this order was such a burden on him. I am a customer spending well over 4000 dollars plus and he made the whole process uncomfortable. I got him to set up a delivery date for the upcoming week and only for half the couch/bed/ottoman which I would be charged for and I had the bill showing that only half the couch amount was going to charged on my card. A few days later I checked my bank account and the entire couch was charged on my card without my approvel . How can you charge my card without my agreeing to the purchase? I have the bill showing the items that were going to be delivered. I called the store and they weren't sure why the card was charged. I then asked about the time frame of the other piece and they said it was in stock. HOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THE PIECE IS IN STOCK ONE WEEK LATER? Also, why am I the one calling to complain about my card and then I find out about the couch being available? They said they would reach out two days prior to the delivery date to pick a time slot. I had to call the day prior since nobody had reached out and they only had one time slot available. Im sure if had been contacted like the first time I wouldn't have to take a day off a work to sit and wait for a delivery. This place is such a disappoint especially since my couch prior came from them. I don't know if its the 3rd ave location or not but STAY AWAY! ITS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE.

I ordered a bookshelf. It was backordered. I got a call saying it was delivered to the store. I went to the store with a van. They said only 1 out of 2 boxes had been delivered. I asked that they courier it to me. 2 weeks go by. I call. I wait on hold for 15 minutes. They say both boxes are there now and I say I'll call back to schedule courier. I call back 2 days later. I'm on hold for 60 minutes..... Just waiting for someone to answer the damn phone. Worst. Customer. Service. EVER. I should have just ordered online. What a waste of time.

I have to say, i have been to this location so many times and service has always been impeccable. Las time i was in i needed a quick lamp for my bedroom and usually shopping is stressful but i got in an out so quickly. Thank you!

Great things, great quality, the prices could be a little better. I got to purchased online and pick up at store, is a very nice atmosphere. But is a little confusing where to go or with who to talk since they don't use uniform or a clear counter where to find the employees. At least that was how I felt.

Excellent customer service from Lou at this location. When a delivery ran late he did all he could to get the piece to me before my freight elevator shut down for the weekend. Thanks for being so awesome Lou! Love the couch too.

Sketchy CB2 charged us thousands of dollars for expected delivery of furniture by end of March. It's mid April already and there is no updates or concrete date from CB2. Trying to reach out to CB2 customers service. My wait time is aprox. 1077 minutes!!! Are you nuts!? #cb2

My to go place for beautiful items to decorate the home. I purchased amazing plates, cups, a lovely ram to place in my kitchen, a marble cheese cutter all at a very reasonable price. The store is always clean and the staff are helpful without constantly following you around. Excellent customer service considering the posh location. I scored two gorgeous gold leaf place mats to match with my gold and white ram.

I traveled 1 hour in traffic from Long Island just to find out that CB2, a place I had traveled to purchase the Brava Sofa for over $2000, HAD NO BATHROOM FOR THEIR CLIENTS. I had to leave CB2, travel across the street to Home Depot, a company that apparently cares for their public more that CB2, to use the bathroom. I was appalled. I left Home Depot after using the bathroom and went straight to my car in a parking garage that I paid $20 to be parked. So $20 to use the bathroom in NYC, I don't know maybe a deal? and still no sofa.

Do not order!!! Do not order!!! I purchased a couch, a desk and a coffee table 7 weeks ago online and still haven't received any. Every time I contact customer service they give me an "estimated" date of when the couch will be in stock. They will not give me an exact date. The date keeps getting extended later and later. Don't waste your time. Purchase from somewhere else.

This is CB2's second NYC location, with the original store located in SoHo. The store itself is much bigger than SoHo's. It's impeccably styled - great for decorating ideas since they do a lot of fun, unexpected stuff with a lot of the product. If you like modern design, then there are a lot of good-quality furniture pieces here for you. The store's environment is super clean and airy, without being sterile. The sales people are friendly and helpful. I haven't felt like anyone's pushy or eager to make a sale. They don't get commission, so you don't have to feel bad about being helped by several people. They leave you alone, but are around and available if you need assistance. I saw a lot of people bring their dogs into the store today - as it is a very pet/family friendly place. The one thing that was a little off-putting was the large number of people shopping around. At times it was a little difficult to move around. However, I did come in during peak hours - sometime between 1 and 3pm on a Saturday. I ended up buying the turbine pillow, as well as some very affordable barware for an upcoming party. I'll be back to get a ton of gifts for the holidays, since there are a ton of things priced under $10 and $20. Awesome place worth checking out.

CB2's come to the East Side. If you like crisp, modern, inexpensive furnishings, this is where you will find them. Good stocking stuffer ideas for the holidays.

I love CB2 - GREAT store. Affordable, hip and trendy home decor items. Entire staff is also helpful and friendly. I love spending my lunches here.

Want talk about ignorance. Just left the store. We came in for a specific product knew what we wanted then I hear the workers speaking of my husband and when we walk up. Shh all ran away super rude go to broadway so much more class

Fantastic place to buy cool stuff for a new apartment. Very modern and with a wide price range. I don't know if I would get their sofas but the kitchen stuff and some lighting fixture are really nice.

Was at the store for a while without being helped, asked one of the staff (with cb2 employee t shirt on) a simple question about a lamp. Her reply was 'I have no idea. I do not work in the lamp store' !!

I ordered $1,000 worth of furniture and accessories online. For some reason I never recieved a confirmation email to set up the delivery. I waited 10+ minutes on the online chat system to get my questions answered before being told the session was ending because of long wait times. I then tried calling the number on the website, but found this line only asked me to answer surveys about Florida vacations and home security. After 35+ minutes of this I decided to go directly to the store. I had two goals 1) check that my email address on the order was correct and 2) set a date and time for the delivery of the furniture. The clerks at the store were very friendly and polite, but unfortunately were absolutely no help. I was told while they could see my order, they could not update or view my email address. Additionally they could not schedule the delivery directly. I was provided a different number to call. In a rush, I took the number and came home. I cannot believe it...the number is routing me back to the surveys about Florida and home security! If anyone could help me schedule my delivery that would be most appreciated. Or provide me a number to speak to a human person. If not, what is the process to request a refund? I've spent a lot of money and the customer service should be better than this. As is, I will never order again from CB2.

The young, hip cousin to Crate & Barrel, I was surprised when I first visited CB2 by just how much I liked their home goods. I actually didn't know until later that they are owned by Crate & Barrel until I started raving to my mom about the various items I wish I could've purchased and she told me. Overall, they have a contemporary/modern aesthetic that is versatile. Their furniture is nice, but I really gravitate towards the smaller items, like serveware and decorative items. While quality and price usually go hand in hand, CB2 seems pretty great - things don't look OR feel cheap. The designs themselves are definitely top notch for the more affordable brand of the two, but that doesn't mean that everything is cheap. You just might be surprised it won't cost you more. I wish that I had a CB2 in Center City Philadelphia so that I could've stocked our entire apartment with their stuff!
