We’ve been to CCs many times before so it’s due time to give the kuddos deserved. Last night we celebrated a birthday this fav location of ours is always the choice. Fantastic appetizers (which we ate so fast I didn’t get photos), fresh salad, delicious main course and all the desserts, all of them. They’re known for the steak but I have been getting the tuna stack and it’s delicious. All of my boys were there 4,14,21 and newly 49…menu had something for everyone. The staff is always friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Dress code has become more casual over the years but it hasn’t affected our experience of a nice meal out.

Google
This is a pricy place to eat at.. reservations not required, but odds are you won’t get in if you show up without one.. The cost is well worth it! The food, atmosphere, service, staff… absolutely everything was amazing!! The flavors amazing, food cooked?!.. to perfection!… the only thing that I can say on the negative side is the filet comes wrapped in bacon, I personally don’t like that, however they will prepare it the way you want it as long as you ask… Best place in town hands down!!

I had a couple of hours to spare after flying into Columbia, Missouri. I found this little gem. It was a BUSY Saturday night and they were seating only reservation in the dining room, but a space opened up at the bar. Two really nice bartenders were working. I ordered The Aunt Jackie and the stuffed portobello mushrooms. The bar was incredible, very beautiful. The mushrooms were really good. Very unique. Smokey, having been grilled. Four large mushroom caps. The house salad was so cool, with the greens all wrapped up in slices of cucumber. I ordered Bleu cheese and the bartender added a thick balsamic vinaigrette on the side. The combination was perfect. I got the fried lobster tail and the breading was a little too think and slightly over-fried, but still delicious, dipped in butter with lemon. The steak was cooked as I ordered it and was delicious. The baked potato was largely ignored since I was already mostly stuffed. The prices were very fair and much less than at home in Nashville. If you're in Columbia, Missouri, this place is worth visiting! I'd give it a 4.5 stars or 90%!

Food is always and I mean ALWAYS on point. This is our favorite date night spot for fine dining. Drinks were amazing too. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Google
Dining at CC’s City Broiler was nothing short of incredible. The star of the night was the Wagyu steak, personally delivered by Chef . The quality of the Wagyu was outstanding tender, richly marbled, and bursting with deep, buttery flavor. It was cooked to absolute perfection, with a beautiful sear that locked in every bit of that incredible taste. Every bite truly melted in my mouth it was one of the finest steaks I’ve ever had. Somehow, I still had room for more and I’m glad I did. The cheesecake crème brûlée was indulgent and creamy, the onion rings were crisp and golden, and the house salad always a favorite of mine was fresh, vibrant, and perfectly dressed. The bartenders were also fantastic super attentive, friendly, and made sure our drinks were perfect all evening. Their Old Fashioned is a must-try smooth, balanced, and consistently excellent. CC’s knows how to deliver a complete experience: incredible food, welcoming service, and attention to detail that makes every visit feel special.

Google
CC’s is Columbia’s finest. The steaks are just delicious, the service is outstanding. Everything offered is amazing, but a few favorites are the Shrimp Atascadero, Gary steak (or Akaushi ribeye), and the lobster tail.

Google
Amazing experience. Tee was one of the best servers I've ever had while dining out. Her wine service was absolutely perfect. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. We had cocktails and apps at the bar first and bartender was wonderful as well.I would love to go back!

Elegant dining in a hometown atmosphere. One of the best steaks I have ever had. The service, food and atmosphere are top notch.

Yelp
I was very surprised to find this restaurant in Columbia, and I was really glad that I went here! The food, where to begin. I'm from Florida and I've lived on the east coast. This place has the best scallops I've ever had! Perfectly cooked and flavored. The croquettes were amazing as well such a good paring with the jalapeño jam. I got the 22 ounce bone in ribeye and it was perfectly cooked and had incredible flavor one of the best steaks I've had. For dessert we got the tiramisu and cheesecake. The tiramisu was amazing light and fluffy while being just the right amount of sweet. The cheesecake was kind of bland. The drinks were good just seemed very light on pours. Our server Alex was incredible, super attentive and knew the menu well. Inside is cozy old steakhouse vibes and can be quite loud when there is a lot of people inside. 5/5

Yelp
Visited Columbia for the weekend and a friend recommended this place but mentioned we had to call at 11am to get a same day reservation. I would have absolutely given 5 stars had the lady taking reservations on the phone not been so rude, as that was my first impression. Apart from that, the service and food were excellent! The brussel sprouts were top tier and my filet was cooked perfectly. Our server was top of it and so friendly (I wish I could remember his name - he had recently gotten engaged). Lastly, I liked the low light ambiance in the restaurant - appropriate for the setting.

Carlos G.

Yelp
Great food, service, and atmosphere Steak was cooked at temperature requested The appetizer was delicious and whiskey and wine toped it off First time here will come back to try other cuts of meat

Angie M.

Yelp
definitely one of the best spots in Columbia I enjoyed all of the food very much however, I probably wouldn't get the corn again just cause I'm not a fan of the flavoring the steak was great and the service was amazing. However, they didn't have any mashed potatoes. and the cake was very sweet.

Review Q.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back again! I had the grilled salmon and brussel sprouts on the side (without the bbq sauce bc I'm on keto). Everyone else in my party had filet mignons & they all loved them. They also had the creamed corn and they loved it! For dessert, they all really enjoyed the chocolate bundt cake with vanilla ice cream. They also thoroughly enjoyed their baked potatoes! The house salads were very tasty, too, & beautifully presented! The service was superb, as well!!!! We had Dylan & he was super sweet, very efficient and he gave excellent menu advice! We also loved the ambiance & the music was lovely, too. Sinatra, etc. Very relaxing & super chill vibe! I loved the rich dark wood decor and the rustic light fixtures. They even accommodated us when we arrived 45 minutes early! Super impressed with this restaurant and all the staff there was very friendly and professional.

Yelp
Amazing meal! We had the Sunday Special for 2, includes Shrimp Cocktail appetizer, 5 oz. Filet, Deep Fried Lobster Tail (unbelievable!), special salad, side, and a bottle of Conundrum Red. Our server was excellent and very attentive. She was so nice! This is a classic steakhouse, tucked away in a strip center. White tablecloths and awesome atmosphere! We have dined here many times. It is in Columbia, MO., 2 hours away. That should tell you how good it is!

Yelp
First time eating here and first time In the state of MO. Very pleased with the service. It's a small space but flows well. Had a 22 oz bone in ribeye, squash and zucchini medley and the house salad. All were pretty good and basic. Thought the steak was not aged, basic and overpriced at $60

Breanna P.

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant. The best steak and sides I've ever had. It is pricey but well worth it. Perfect setting for a romantic date. Service is top notch and very classy.

Yelp
CAN YOU GUYS ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONE?!?!? I see in the other comments that you guys have this issue!!!! Regardless, I guess I won't be visiting this restaurant. Rather not give my money away to a restaurant that doesn't have good customer service.
google avatar

Christina S.

Yelp
Traveled from two hours away to dine here for our wedding anniversary. We booked a hotel and planned our whole trip to Columbia around dining here. Their website says they accept reservations day of starting at 11 but we called over 50 x only to be hung up on over and over again. Guess they won't be getting our $$$$ tonight as we were planning to go ALL out. Either take reservations like a normal restaurant and answer the phone or don't. Very disappointing!!!

Yelp
One of the BEST restaurants I have been to in a long time! 5 star food, service, and ambiance! Amazing!

Lori J.

Yelp
I have always loved CCs, but last night I was disappointed! The service was good, ambiance nice, but food . Prices have gone so high for the amount and quality. I won't be rushing back.

Yelp
Came to celebrate my 30th birthday with my fiancee. Food and service were both outstanding and we both very much enjoyed our experience. 100% we'll be back

Yelp
I have been trying to get into this place for a while and finally my friend got a reservation. The ambience is very nice, upscale classy dinning. We opted for no appetizers. I ordered the bacon steak and boy that side salad was delicious and well presented! I thought the steak with bacon would have more of the bacon taste or for some reason be sweet but it was not. The baked potatoes did not come with cheese and maybe I missed that I needed to ask for that. Still good without cheese but I love it fully loaded. For dessert I opted for pecan pie which was tasty!
google avatar

Talya M.

Yelp
Best Brussels sprouts I've ever had! The only reason they didn't get a 5 star review is because I requested a dairy free entree due to an allergy/ sensitivity and had a small reaction later in the evening. I went back to Cc's recently, chose a different entree, and had no issues. I will absolutely return to Cc's in the future but will be sure to confirm ingredients going forward.

Yelp
This used to be a good restaurant but over the past year or so it has gone drastically downhill. Note that all of the positive reviews are from years ago. The service is horrible. The food is inedible. Just look around the next time you're there and notice the clientele. Everyone is wearing baseball caps and dungarees. There are much, much better places to dine in Columbia, Missouri. So sad to see such a great restaurant decline so much. And to think that they consider themselves the "Finest steakhouse in mid Missouri". What a joke!

Ethan O.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner to celebrate our move to mid-Missouri. I picked CC's City Broiler on a whim hoping to get some steak and solve her seafood craving. Let me tell you this place not only met, but exceeded our expectations in every way. As a before meal "game" we read the worst reviews made of the restaurant we are attending. Something about every single one of them being proven wrong made our meal taste all the better. Exceptional service from Dylan who gave us amazing recommendations on drinks and sides. Wonderful ambience, including a cooler displaying their premium cuts right behind our table. We thoroughly enjoyed everything brought to us. From the appetizer(we picked the scallops which were quite possibly the best either of us had eaten), to the complementary salads(perfectly sized and well dressed), the entrees(her the short rib and lobster pasta pillows with truffled sweet potato mash as the side and me the wagyu filet, added lobster tail, and broccolini on the side), as well as the dessert(the peanut butter chocolate stack cake a-la-mode), everything was spectacular. We both highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.

Yelp
Food and service has never disappointed. My only issue would for management to update their phone messages once capacity has been reached for the day. It became a joke to see how many dials we could make, starting at 11:30 (same day reservations begin at 11:00) on a Friday. We finally gave up about 2 hours later and over 400 dials without someone picking up the phone.

Yelp
CC's City Broiler is a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal for a celebration, date, or simply a nice night out. The environment is upscale and fancy yet inviting. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you are a seafood fan, you must order the stuffed salmon! The mouthwatering Gary Special was cooked to perfection. The service is always top-notch and very accommodating. Highly recommend eating at CC's if you are in Columbia.

Netanya B.

Yelp
I really enjoyed dinner here. It was very calming, candle-lit dinner experience. I tried the steak Sinatra and it was great! I think the prices are amazing for what you get. Service was a bit slow though.

Jamie D.

Yelp
Went with a party of four, was sat down within two minutes of our scheduled time. Three of our party had Sinatra and was very happy with her choice, I got the Scott's steak for the first time and it was outstanding. If you go here, I recommend the lobster mashed potatoes. Service and atmosphere are always second to none. If you are in Columbia, this is a place to go.

Yelp
Such a nice surprise for a first time checking out this restaurant. We stopped by while in town and really enjoyed the steak dinner for my husband and grilled salmon for me (my salad was absolutely delicious too!). They have areas in the restaurant that would be perfect for a romantic dinner and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant seemed very nice, relaxed, but a little fancy at the same time. We had multiple servers and staff helping us throughout our dinner and we never really had to ask for anything because they foresaw it or asked in advance. Great evening/dinner, will definitely be back.

Yelp
If you are looking for upscale, fine dining, and a luxury restaurant experience then this is your place! Unfortunately, they only do day-of reservations, so in order to ensure you get a table, I recommended calling in the morning right when they open - they fill up pretty fast. CC's really is a whole experience - outside of their phenomenal food. The servers take very good care of you by bringing your meal out on a covered silver platter and revealing it for you like they are your butler or something and they even clear the crumbs from the table between courses. With every entree, they start you off with a salad that looks like a work of art. The whole thing is wrapped in a cucumber ribbon & comes with a tomato cut into 4. The best part of the salad is the croutons which taste like they are homemade - I could eat a whole plate of the croutons for my meal and be happy. They are that good. The entrees also come with bread, which is honestly pretty average, but I don't mind because it prevents me from getting too full before my meal comes out. I haven't even gotten to the main event yet - the entrees! If I'm being honest I don't enjoy steak (which is what they are known for), but don't freight because they have really good seafood options too. I always get the salmon which comes with crab meat, shrimp, and a white cream sauce on top. It has always been cooked to perfection (not too dry). As for the sides, I highly recommend paying the extra $7 for a ~specialty~ side. My favorite is the brussel sprouts which come drenched in a really good, oily, balsamic sauce. They are also served with an aioli, which I always have to ask for more of because it's so good. Other good sides I've tried are the lobster mashed potatoes and jalapeno twice baked potato. I wish I could come here every week!!!!

Yelp
My updated review, we were very impressed! We came in for dinner on a weeknight and had a reservation. Service was great, the ambiance is upscale, one of the nicer restaurants in Columbia. We got the steak and lobster special. The bread was really yummy, tasted super fresh. The promotion came with a bottle of cabernet and shrimp cocktail as well! - House salad (3.5/5): interesting salad, the cucumber and tomatoes are pretty huge pieces, but the combination of feta, nuts, croutons are good overall - Filet mignon and fried lobster (4.5/5): the steak was perfectly cooked, seasoned well. We got one rare, one medium rare, both were tender and delicious. The lobster was great as well, a good size portion - Lobster mashed potatoes (3.5/5): we were expecting more lobster, but the potatoes were good, tasted like a scalloped potato - Fried brussel sprouts (4/5): these were tasty, crispy, good flavor We were pleasantly surprised at how good our experience was, from the food to the service, and the value was great as well for this promotion!

Yelp
Amazing! We moved to St. Louis, so we have been missing CC's City Broiler. And you know what... better than we remembered!!! Everything including the service was just perfect! Even the price is right (compared to comparable steak restaurants)! Looking forward to our next visit!

Jim B.

Yelp
Service was good. But both prime rib and bone in ribeyes were gone. So settled for a Kobi ribeye. Steak flavor was just okay. Not what I would have expected. Fat on edges was not rendered at all. Almost broke a tooth trying to chew it. Was not worth the $250 I paid for me and my wife.
google avatar

Jeanette P.

Yelp
The menu is yummy and the service is great! The ambience is very cool. I'd come back here with family and friends.
google avatar

Hall T.

Yelp
Dined here about 10 times and yet to have any negative experiences. Virtually everywhere I order a steak med rare-rare it arrives med.... Not here...!!

Larry B.

Yelp
Great food and service! It is a little expensive but it is certainly worth the price! Steaks are great, cooked to your instructions. We have been there at least 3 times and never been disappointed!
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I have traveled to alot of places in and out of this country, and to find a place like this was totally unexpected. The food was awesome and the service was impeccable. We will be back, and recommend this place to EVERYONE who has an opportunity to visit Columbia, Mo.

Jack R.

Yelp
Only takes same day reservations starting at 11am. I tried getting a reservation on Valentine's Day. I called 34 times in a row starting at 11am and it just automatically hung me up until I finally got through to an automated message telling me they were fully booked. They don't have any hold/waiting list. Get in the 21st century please. Food's good though.
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
I spent my 18th birthday here and I finally was able to come back after almost 10 years. The bad: the reservation 'system' is literally unnerving. Had to call 137 times to get through which is a little insane. The good: the servers are wonderful, the food is some of the best, and the ambiance is quite nice with nice music and a curated interior. Recommend: the steak Sinatra and the mushroom caps. I did get the surf and turf this time which is great; but the steak medallions from the steak Sinatra and lobster mashed potato's are just to good not to get especially for $20-$30 less for the plate.

Space D.

Yelp
This is our "We're celebrating something and are ok with spending $170-ish on dinner" restaurant. In all fairness, we do the whole shebang: appetizers (market priced scallops - eek$$), salad, Filets (French style or Au Poivre), creamed spinach, and a really nice red. Instead of dessert we go with another nice wine. Service is great, especially if you get one of their long-timers. I haven't met the managers, but the wait staff and chefs know what's up. :) Last time we went we called to get on the list and were able to show up within 10 minutes. I wouldn't cut it that close normally, but it's definitely not hard to get a reservation on a weeknight or a non-holiday, or graduation weekend with just a bit of planning.

Yelp
Unquestionably the most consistently delicious and perfectly served meal available in Columbia, MO. The steaks on the regular menu are among the best I've had in this mortal realm, including visits to top steak houses in New York, Omaha, and 48 other states. Their specialty aged steaks have no peer on earth that I have encountered. The ambience is near perfect. The service is amazing. One area for improvement would be for the folks in charge to realize that Billy Joel is this generations Frank Sinatra. The amount of Sinatra you hear does remind you of visiting your grandparents house in the 1980s. Move on!

Russ S.

Yelp
food and service never disappoints ahhh. this time the service was to fast. we had 1 hr 20 mins to eat and we were ther 1 hr. before our steaks got to our table I was still eating my salad and the waiter took my salad while I was still eating it. I had food on my fork and putting it in my mouth and they took my salad plate that wasn't finished. I felt pushed and just gave him my plate. that's where I was disappointed. Hopefully that doesn't happen next time we eat here thank you for letting me voice my review

Zac A.

Yelp
Victor was impeccable in his service, ensuring our meal was just as perfect as every time we stop in. The steak was obviously perfect, and the jalapeno twice baked potato was as creamy and excellent as ever, and the goat cheese croquettes were absolutely delicious. I'd be remiss in not recommending that you ask for Victor when you stop by, as he will ensure your night is as special as it should be!

William S.

Yelp
Starting with service - We had a five o'clock reservation, not crowded at all. I have only eaten there once and it was great, they even took the crumbs off the table, crazy! Not this time, didn't even offer appetizers and kept removing plates and silverware during the meal, like trying to rush us, keep in mind our reservation was for one and half hour service, so there was no rush. Party of six and two couples wanted to split their meal with each other, there is an up charge no surprise and you each get a salad and one side. Salad was perfect, bread came out delicious! When entree came the baked potatoes and asparagus was not done, on any plate. Oldest grandson asked for more bread server acted like it was coming out of his pay...service was just rude, kept reaching in on everyone during their meal to take away plates and silverware, not sure if splitting plates pissed them off or what. Keep in mind their entrees are $35 and up, this is a very upscale restaurant with three forks two knives Etc and lots of staff per table, they were not short handed....
google avatar

Enrique S.

Yelp
Good service. Excellent bar. Salads and soups (lobster bisque) were good. Stuffed salmon was very good. Steak was cooked to the correct temperature. My only wish is that the steaks could be ordered as seasoned ahead of time. S-P at a minimum or S-P-G even better.
google avatar

Karin N.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here during our last weekend in MO. This place is actually pretty good! The steak Sinatra with lobster mashed potatoes were great. Our waiter was great and attentive. Not too pricey although we are used to California steakhouse prices. Give 'em a try!
google avatar

Dean L.

Yelp
Very popular, but..... The steak is very good, but medium rare fillet was over done. When making a reservation you will be told you have your table for 90 minutes. Nothing like having a timer on your meal. The staff is helpful, though by making sure to remove you salad as soon as as possible. Cocktails need to be brought up to date, and nothing special. Wine list is functional. The room is very dark, but they compensate by having menus the size of cookie sheets. The facility should either be bigger or fewer tables. Between the brick walls and metal features on the ceiling ambient noise makes conversation difficult. And why do they need a TV over the bar? This is not a sports bar. This would be a great place to take a prom date for someone trying to make an impression.

Mark C.

Yelp
Excellent food and wine selection. Knives, ambience, and not as stuffy as a traditional steakhouse. Great place to take your Tiger out for a nice meal

Yelp
Delicious! Great steaks. Food was quite lovely, ambience was fancy and calm. The staff is very attentive! Our glasses were never empty. My husband and I were able to share one meal, the steaks and sides are a healthy portion!
google avatar

Yelp
Steak Sinatra was the bomb! Their house made salads are a must! Get the Brussels sprouts as a side. You will spend more than other places but the quality of food is worth it!

Maggie L.

Yelp
best bread i've ever had in my life. it was so soft and warm and the butter was so fresh and fluffy and perfectly salted. i have never had better bread even at texas roadhouse. i love cc city broiler

Yelp
I had originally come here to get shrimps wrapped in some bacon, know what I'm sayin'? It turned into much more than that. After carefully dipping those bacon wrap shrimp into that bleu cheese sauce I said, "Good Lawd have mercy!" Flavortown is a joke. This place is the FLAVOR GALAXAY!!! Because the whole place smelt like deliciously cooked beef, I decided to order a steak. They told me about this special "Gary Steak". I didn't know Gary personally but, they made his ribeye sound quite delectable. I decided to give it a shot. While I waited, the drinks were prompt and plentiful. As I pondered what my beef steak experience would be like, there was temptation to dip their deep fried sourdough bread into the spicy buttery sauce that the shrimps came out of. For science, I had to do it. But then I realized that the only logical thing to do was to dip the same piece of bread into the bleu cheese after the buffalo sauce. Is this real life? Are things on this planet supposed to taste this good? Fortunately my waitron recommended the bleu cheese melted on top of the Gary Ribeye I ordered. It was an amazing compliment to the already superlative steak. The sautéed mushrooms on the side really tied it all together. When a slice of the bleu cheese covered cap of that ribeye was forked with a shroom or two and carefully dipped in au jus, you better believe it was tasty as af. Sometimes with places like these, the primary entree takes precedence and sides go to the....wayside. Not here. Their sides could literally be put together to be entrees for any of you hippy vegan weirdos. Carrots and bro...oh wait. No butter. No stock. No....etc. My personal belief is that hippy vegan celiac posers STAY OUT OF STEAK HOUSES. SERIOUSLY- DON'T GO TO A STEAK HOUSE IF YOU'RE A VEGAN That being said, the interior decor is top notch and quite contemporary even by international standard. The menus are not quite large enough to read but this is their tradition. It makes people concentrate harder on the menu. I get it. Sweet.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Great service great atmosphere and great food. We had the lobster bisque which was excellent. The shrimp and onion ring appetizers were very good as well. We all ordered their signature steak cake Steak Sinatra medallions of filet on top of lobster mashed potatoes asparagus and sauce. Delicious. I would definitely be back!

Yelp
The food was awesome and the service was outstanding. The party of five could not stop talking about how good the food and service was. Highly recommended. 5 stars out of 5 stars. Nice and quite place to enjoy dinner with friends.

Yelp
Nice Ambiance and amazing service. Food was well prepared and delicious! A little difficult to make a reservation but definitely worth it.

Yelp
The kind of restaurant that spoils you. Excellent food. Attentive service. Specialty is steaks. The dinner salad is exceptional with housemaid dressings. Scallops were good but over seasoned. The Hot bread was great. Prices were a little high but considering what you got, not unreasonable
